  • This study length variation test, shock test were conducted to evaluate the performance of synthetic resin form. Results of both thermal length variation test and shock test satisfied the KS standards. for length variation test, the result of the horizontal and vertical valuse were -0.1% in average.

  • Diarylethene in photochromic materials was doped in organic-inorganic hybrid low-melting glasses were synthesized through a nonaqueous acid-base reaction process, which consists of network units including a small number of bridging oxides. The organic phase is a dichlorodimethylsilane while the inorganic phase is a tin(II) chloride. Diarylethene was incorporated into the glasses without any degradation of its functionality. The open form of diarylenthene, which is converted from the opening one upon UV-irradiation, is change to the closed form visible light-irradiation. The rate constant of the photochemical reaction is $31.78\times10^{-3}s^{-1}$ with 400 W UV lamp irradiation.

  • This paper is a study on Development of polyhedral surfaces Quasicrystal System. Quasicrystal is the quasi-crystalline material, which is the intermediate material of the crystalline material and non-crystalline material. Quasicrystal is a structures that is ordered but not periodic, the basic form is a rhombus. These studies in the field of chemistry will proceed actively studied, in the field of construction a situation that still insufficient research. Therefore, in this paper, we presents the analysis of Quasicrystal system, and the research on the applicability of as dome structures. This paper described some examples of polyhedron form, and method of applying Quasicrystal system.

Green's Function of Cracks in Piezoelectric Material (압전재료 내의 균열에 대한 그린함수)

  • A general form solution is considered for a piezoelectric material containing impermeable cracks subjected to a combined mechanical and in-plane electrical loading. The analysis is based upon the Hilbert problem formulation. Using this solution, typically for a central crack in transverse isotropic piezoelectric material, a closed form solution is obtained, where one concentrated mechanical and electrical load is subjected to the crack surface. This problem could be used as a Green's function to generate the solutions of other problems with the same geometry but of different loading conditions.

  • The shape of K-R curve for an ideally brittle material is flat because the surface energy is an unvaried material property. However, the K-R curve can take on a variety of shapes when nonlinear material behavior accompanies fracture. By the way, a general metallic material is nonlinear, structural steel is such. Therefore, the J-R curve form J-integral value instead of K parameters can be used to evaluate elastic-plastic materials with flaws in terms of ductile fracture that can be significant to design. In this paper, R-curve behaviors form K and J parameter is considered for the precise assessment of fracture analysis, in case of JS-SS400 steels.

Finite Element Analysis for Cracks in Rubber Bonded to a Rigid Material (강체와 접합된 고무의 균열에 대한 유한요소해석)

  • Cracks in rubber bonded to a rigid material such as steel are analyzed with the aid of a mixed finite element technique. Firstly the weak form is derived for finite element analysis of an incompressible material, and the Mooney-Rivlin form is assumed for the constitutive modeling of rubber. The numerical results from finite element analysis is examined to confirm the accuracy and convergence of solution by way of comparison to other numerical results. The interpretation of the J-integral for large elastic deformation as the energy release rate is confirmed, and the J-integral is calculated for varing crack length. The crack growth stability is discussed using the result of finite element analysis.

  • The materials used for 3D printing are mainly plastic and metal. These materials are usually used in the powdered form. In order to improve the surface roughness of a manufactured product, these powders should consist of small uniform spherical particles. However, the powdered forms are sold at a considerably higher price than bulk or wired materials. When a wire-type material is used instead of a powder, we can supply a relatively large amount of the material at one time as well as reduce the cost. Moreover, the use of this form of the material will increase the process efficiency. This paper deals with the technology required to feed a wire material in front of the tool movement and discusses the examples used for the verification.

  • According to the results of this research, Production of Fold Concret Permanent-Form, was found to be possible by Concrete. The FCP-Form (Fold Concret Permanent-Form) Concrete had Compress strength 300kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and banding strength 120kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$. FCP-Form Model was made by the result of the first research. There was no mimute-crack on beam form and The outer surface of form was very smooth, and Those qualities it were made possible hand-made by experiment. With these results, The Production of FCP-Form seemed possible. In the banding load test, P-S showed increase of maxim load 12% than P-R. At the first stage of minute crack, under continuing loading size of crack increased. These phenomena seemed to be based on contribution of stress of inner bars in FCP-Form. In the test of defection. P-S shower about 10% banding load increase than P-R. FCP-Form Concrete was found to be efficient in compressibleness, defection, safety and use of material.

  • When the construction in a low temperature, the concrete performance is deteriorated by frost damage at early age. In this study, the form utilizing heating sheet and insulation is measured the performance to prevent frost damage at 10 below zero. It produced five types of the form and to measure the temperature history and compressive strength. At first, form attached heating sheet showed the highest temperature. But the form attached vacuum insulation showed the highest temperature ever since 12hours. In the case of compressive strength, the form attached heating sheet + isopink(polystyrene foam board) showed the highest compressive strength. It was followed by vacuum insulation. As a result, the form utilizing insulation and heating sheet helped to prevent frost damage.

A Study on Processing Methods of New Materials Applied to Biomimicry Characteristics (바이오미미크리 특성이 적용된 신재료 가공방법 연구)

  • Using the 'New material' concept has recently been introduced into the natural characteristics. In the course of such a, Janine M. Benyus has proposed to mimic the characteristics of natural ecosystems to mention the concept of Biomimicry. Process made engineered using technical elements for representing the material properties of Biomimicry such will be acting importantly, This study intends to analyze how new materials applied to 'Biomimicry' characteristics are processed in space. The results were as follows : 1) Processing methods of new materials resulted as 'Forming', 'Surface treatment', 'Bonding', 'Inserting'. These four were divided and analyzed into 'Form', 'System', 'Adaptation'. As a result of this analysis, such significances were shown as 'Forming/Surface treatment/Bonding' in 'Form', 'Bonding' in 'System' and 'Adaptation'. 2) 'Bonding' applied to 'System' of new material can be recycled to be combined with other materials through the existing adhesive material, and present as a solution of 'Sustainable development'. 3) 'Bonding' applied to 'Adaptation' of new material is to impart the ability to react to the environment through the joint, but is characteristic, at this time, using digital and other field technology. It appeared primarily that it can be known to meet the social trends and convergence between fields. Thus, as the finish that are friendly to the environment from the interior design, the results of the study are expected to be utilized in the study of new materials guidelines.
