  • Recently, The online role playing games (RPG) get into spotlight of worldwide game marketing area because of the rapid growth of high speed Internet environment during a decade. The almost online RPGs are made of campaign scenario that constructed in series. In this paper, we propose the Distributed Server Model for the Evolutionary Online RPGs which have series scenario (Campaign). In order to represents evolutionary online RPGs, We configure the online RPG server uniquely by means of one to one mapping between logical and physical game world. We also configure the game worlds using circular queue form to express the evolution of civilization by reconstruction of game world.

  • This study presents the application of genetic algorithms(GA) to the back analysis of tunnels. GA based on the theory of natural evolution, and have been evaluated very effective for their robust performances, particularly for optimizing structure problems. In the back analysis method, the selection of initial value and uncertainty of field measurements influence significantly on the analysis result. GA can improve this problems through a probabilistic approach. Besides, this technique have two other advantages over the back analysis. One is that it is not significantly affected by the form of problems. Another one is that it can consider two known parameter simultaneously. The propriety of this study is verified as the comparison in the same condition of the back analysis(Gens et al, 1987). In this study, it was performed to estimated the geotechnical parameters in the case of weak rock mass at the Kyung Bu Express railway tunnel. GA have been shown for effective application to a geotechnical engineering.

  • Finite element analysis of welding processes, which entail phase evolution, heat transfer and deformation, is considered in this paper. Attention focuses on numerical implementation of the thermo-elastic-plastic constitutive equation proposed by Leblond et al in consideration of the transformation plasticity. Based upon the multiplicative decomposition of deformation gradient, hyperelastic formulation is employed for efficient numerical integration, and the algorithmic consistent moduli for elastic-plastic deformations including transformation plasticity are obtained in the closed form. The convergence behavior of the present implementation is demonstrated via a couple of numerical examples. Several locking phenomena removed by Solid-shell element.

  • he observation of the egg microstrutures on the five Korean mosquito species showed some useful results to identify the species. There have appeared five classified groups with characters of egg structured on 20 Aedes species and 3 Culex specie니 in the cluster analysis. Among the 23 species, A desmotes and A. mediopunctatus perplexus were completely separated form other Aedes species.

  • The present report, which is the 4 th one of the serial reports of Korean SCarabaeoidea, is concerned with an introduction to the aphodiidae and with the systematic account six species which belong to the genus Aphodius and have a large scutellum. It is discussed that the subspecies of Aphodius apicalis are no more than the aberrant forms of this species, and then an aberrant form, Aphodius (Otophorus) brachysomus ab. Flavelytrus, is described.

  • Five sea cucumbers were collected from Gisamun and Gonghyeonjin of Gangwon-do, in the East Sea, Korea from 27 December 2009 to 14 November 2012. These specimens were classified as Synallactes nozawai Mitsukuri, 1912 belonging to the family Synallactidae of order Aspidochirotida based on morphological characteristics. The family, genus and species are recorded for the first time from Korea. The distinct morphological characteristics of this species are as follows: body flexible, with thin gelatinous body wall; presence of numerous tubercles along dorsal ambulacra table of body wall consisted of three- or four-armed disk and a spire-form pillar. This species usually inhabits the deep sea and is distributed in the Northwest Pacific from northern Japan to Bering Sea.

  • Specimens of the genus Orobdella Oka, 1895 from Korea, including various locations in the Korean Peninsula, were identified as Orobdella tsushimensis Nakano, 2011. Phylogenetic analyses using mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 (COI), ND1, $tRNA^{Cys}$, $tRNA^{Met}$, 12S rRNA, $tRNA^{val}$, and 16S rRNA markers show that the newly collected specimens form a monophyletic group with the known O. tsushimensis specimens. The genetic distance of COI of these specimens was in the range 0.4-6.6%. These results confirm that the newly collected specimens belong to O. tsushimensis. This is the first record of the genus Orobdella from the Korean Peninsula.

  • An eumenid subspecies Pararrhynchium paradoxum koreanum Giordani Soika, 1986 is newly combined to the genus Pseudepipona de Saussure, 1856. Although tegula of this subspecies is similar to one of Allodynerus, shape of scutellar crest and related structures in both sexes and peculiar shape of mandible in male are critically justifiable for the genus Pseudepipona. This form is a discrete species in the genus, thus named as Pseudepipona koreanum (Giordani Soika, 1986) n. comb. The original description of this species was based on the sole male specimen and hardly diagnostic, just providing coloration compared with the nominotypical subspecies of P. paradoxum. A redescription of males and description of the hitherto unknown female are provided.

  • Modified belite cement clinker containing $\alpha$'-C2S and C4A3 were syntehsized form the mixture of raw materials. $\alpha$'-C2S was stabilized at room temperature by adding borax. Properties of the clinker were charaterized with a XRD, SEM, TEM The additive effects of slag on the hydration properties were also estimated by measurement of compressive strength fluidity and heat evolution. The experimental results exhibited that the addition of slag to the belite cement improves the fluidity and early compressive strength due to the formation of ettringite and C-S-H. The compressive strengths of the mortar with 20% slag after 7, 90 days hydration were 212, 355 kgf/cm2 respectively.

  • This study dealt with cumacean specimens collected from the shallow waters of the South Sea and East Sea, Korea. Campylaspis fusiformis Gam$\hat{o}$, 1960 belonging to the family Nannastacidae is newly recorded to Korean fauna. This species resembles C. pumila and C. striata in having a similar body form and a pair of narrow lateral sulcuses on the carapace, but it is easily distinguished from them by the dactylus of the pereopod 2 which is more than 3.5 times the length of the propodus and bears many setae (about 20) on the surface. This species mainly occurs in the Korean and Japanese waters.
