  • Generally, the copy protection mark and 2D bar-code techniques are widely used for forgery protection in printed public documents. But, it is hard to discriminate truth from the copy documents by using exisiting methods, because of that existing 2D-barcode is separated from the copy protection mark and it can be only recognized by specified optical barcord scanner. Therefor, in this paper, we proposed the forgery protection tehchnique for discriminating truth from the copy document by using watermark inserted 2D-barcord, which can be accurately distinguished not only by naked eye, but also by scanner. The copy protection mark consists of deformed patterns that are caused by the lowpass filter characteristic of digital I/O device. From these, we verified the performance of the proposed techniques by applying the histogram analysis based on the original, copy, and scanned copy image of the printed documents. Also, we suggested 2D-barcord confirmation system which can be accessed through the online server by using certification key data which is detected by web-camera, cell phone camera.

  • The cases of identification forgery and counterfeiting are increasing under the current identification system, which was established based on social conditions and administrative environments over 20 years ago. This leads to an increase of various criminal acts including illegal loan using fake ID and a number of damages caused out of good intentions that result in interference with the operations of public organizations. In addition, according to the advancement of information society, privacy protection has emerged as an important issue. However, ID card exposes individuals' personal information, such as names, resident registration numbers, photos, addresses and fingerprints, and thus the incidents associated with illegal use of personal information are increasing continuously. Accordingly, this study aimed at examining the issues of ID card forgery/counterfeiting and privacy protection and at proposing a next-generation identification system to supplement such weaknesses. The top priority has been set as prevention of forgery/counterfeiting and privacy protection in order to ensure the most important function of national identification system, which is user identification.

  • We proposed a digital watermarking method that it is possible to identify the copyright because the watermark is detected in the first print-scan and to protect a forgery because the watermark is not detected in the second print-scan. The proposed algorithm uses LPM and DFT transform for the robustness to the distortion of pixel value and geometrical distortion. This methods could improve watermark detection performance and image quality by selecting maximum sampling radius in LPM transform. After analyzing the characteristics of print-scan process, we inserted the watermark in the experimentally selected frequency bands that survives robustly to the first print-scan and is not detected in the second print-scan, using the characteristic of relatively large distortion in high frequency bands of DFT As the experimental result, the original proof is possible because average similarity degree 5.13 is more than the critical value 4.0 in the first print-scan. And the detection of forgery image is also possible because average similarity degree 2.76 is less than the critical value 4.0 in the second print-scan.

  • Mobile agent systems offer a new paradigm for distributed computation and a one of solution for limitation of existent Client-server model. Mobile agent systems provide interface that can migrate from host to host in a heterogenous network. For secure execution, it must solve security problem of mobile code before. In this paper, we are propose the protocol that applied signature technique and hash chain technique. This protocol enable one to offer forward integrity, non-repudiation, and forgery detection, when mobile agents are perform the task by migrating a network.

  • This paper would suggest about data communicate using RF Transmitter-Receiver and about PC protection method authenticate using software of PC which Receiver is connected. Older PC protection system is demanded manual operation of the user but the suggesting method protect PC automatically with judge existing of the user who has Tag approaches the distance which gets near. And it is impossible about the forgery and it is safe about sniffing attack and spoofing.

  • This paper addresses the increasing cyber attacks exploiting security vulnerabilities in software due to the rise in web applications. CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) attacks pose a serious threat to web users and developers and must be prevented in advance. CSRF involves performing malicious requests without the user's consent, making protection methods crucial for web applications. This study compares and verifies the CSRF defense performance of two frameworks, Spring Security and Apache Shiro, to propose an effectively applicable framework. The results show that both frameworks successfully defend against CSRF attacks; however, Spring Security processes requests faster, averaging 2.55 seconds compared to Apache Shiro's 5.1 seconds. This performance difference stems from variations in internal processing methods and optimization levels. Both frameworks showed no significant differences in resource usage. Therefore, Spring Security is more suitable for environments requiring high performance and efficient request processing, while Apache Shiro needs improvement. These findings are expected to serve as valuable references for designing web application security architectures

  • The usage of DRM-applied digital contents reduces user's convenience, thus it leads the many users to avoid using DRM-applied digital contents. In this paper, therefore, we propose the new distribution model in which the users, who purchase the DRM-applied digital contents, can resale freely those contents to the other users. As a result, the proposed model induces the users to distribute contents soundly by including them in one of distribution objects. For the purpose of this, in this paper, we propose that a packaged content and usage rights are transferred to another user by using a method which based on some existing digital ticket or coupon. In addition, the security of the proposed system is discussed for the double transfer, the forgery and the modification of usage rights, and the reproduction of contents and usage rights.

  • Traditional paper records have to be preserved in the original form to ensure the authenticity. On the other hand. electronic records have to be continuously changed in content itself or metadata to be preserved in long-term period, so the proof of the legality of each change made so far and the proof of the protection against all the illegal changes are the essential. to ensure these requirements. We need some functions including the authentication of original captured records. the protection of records against the loss or forgery, the authentication of preserved records, and the treatment of authentication-failed records. This paper explains the fragility of authenticity for electronic records, identifies the functions needed, suggests the implementation idea, and describes the overall management polity for electronic records to ensure the authenticity.
