When materials are to be transported vertically at the construction site, if the space is small, there is often a precarious situation in which materials are transported outside the scaffold or through the space secured by removing the safety footrest. In addition, if the safety foothold is removed, the reinstallation may not occur due to carelessness of a worker. To solve the problem of this particular case, we have created a safety foothold that is unnecessary to dismantle and can be opened.
Objective: The aim of this study is to develop a farming shovel to reduce workload, which helps farmers lower the risk of musculoskeletal disease. Background: Most of work using farming tools including shovels requires repetitive works and awkward postures on body parts, and it could possibly cause work-related musculoskeletal disorders. It is necessary to develop and distribute farm equipment and tools in order to reduce physical workload. Method: To improve the most uncomfortable task perceived by ten farmers during the work with a shovel, the improved shovel was designed and made as a prototype for experiment for the comparison of the existing and improved shovels. Twenty males were recruited for this experiment, and muscle activity (%MVC) of six body parts and subjective discomfort ratings by body parts while working with a shovel were measured. A paired t-test was performed to compare physical workload between the existing shovel and the developed one. Results: A shovel applying foothold tied between shaft and blade was designed, which can help workers reduce repetitive bending of back and pressures for upper limbs while digging soil. According to compared evaluation of the developed shovel and the existing shovel, the developed shovel's %MVCs in all experimental muscles were significantly lower than those of the existing shovel. The developed shovel showed the biggest drop in perceived subjective discomfort rating of back, followed by arm and neck, compared to the existing shovel. Conclusion: It was confirmed that attaching a foothold to a shovel was an effective way of reducing workload in back and upper limbs during digging. Application: In the near future, if we put the prototype of developed shovel to practical use after making up for defects, it will help farm work environment be healthier and safer.

This study aims to identify the problems of the records management of the foothold national university related university-industry collaboration. For these purpose, the study conducted a literature survey. Moreover, this study compared and analyzed the content of university archives and university-industry collaboration web sites. In addition, we gained the materials from the national archives in Korea thorough a request of information disclosure. It was found that problems and improvements in terms of institutional and achievement management. Consequently, based on the analysis, cooperation framework between university archives and university-industry collaboration was developed. With the proposed system, the academic utilization of university-industry collaboration records can be facilitated.

In this work, regular rotational gaits of the quadruped crawling robot required to change its moving direction without affecting be its orientation and its static stability margin are studied. The regular rotational gaits provide the quadruped crawling robot with omnidirectional characteristics. However, the ideal foothold region for each of legs of the quadruped crawling robot is assumed for simplicity. Nonetheless, it is expected that the results of this paper will provide the insight for both design of legs of the crawling robot with omnidirectional characteristics as well as its operation of the crawling robot system with specified stability margin.

During the Late Joseon dynasty, abandoned mountain fortresses were urgently repaired for the operation of foothold mountain fortresses in Gyeongsang-do, during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 and immediately after the Qing Invasion of Korea in 1636. Immediately after the Qing Invasion of Korea, an external fortress wall was built and added to each of Cheonsaeng Fortress and Geumo Fortress to establish a system of protecting locals inside a fortress at important locations for border defense against Japan in the Yeongnam region. Cheonseng Fortress, however, did not have sufficient geographical and protection conditions as a mountain fortress for protecting people inside it; thus, Gasan Fortress was newly built to replace Cheonsaeng Fortress. Geumo and Gasan Fortresses were used in border defense against Japan during the period from King Injo's reign to the end of Joseon Dynasty, because the fortresses served the purpose of defending Nakdonggang River and middle roads located at important roads along the border in the Yeongnam region and because it was possible to quickly repair and use their existing fortress walls and internal facilities, such as middle fortress walls and ponds, that were constructed for long-term protection of locals inside the fortress. In addition, it was found, in this study, that a continuous discussion on how to supplement fortresses led to the reinforcement and improvement of fortress facilities and fortification technology through the application of major strengths of Chinese (Ming) and Japanese fortress systems.

In this paper, the regular rotational gaits of the quadruped crawling robot are studied. It is assumed that the proposed regular rotational gaits starts from one of six support patterns in a translational gaits and end up with one of six support patterns in a translational gaits. Noting that six support patterns in a regular translational gait belong to two different groups with respect to regular rotational gait, the static stability margin and the maximum rotational displacement during one rotational stride period for the two representative support patterns are investigated. It is expected that the proposed regular rotational gaits will enhance the omni-directional characteristics of the quadruped crawling robot.

As the rapid and various changing of social aspects, the structures are getting bigger, higher and more complex. The importance of evacuation is on the rise as increased using frequency of multiplex area and it's high population density. According to the result of a survey with 2 domestic multiplex population density, the maximum was 0.43(人/$m^2$) and 0.51(人/$m^2$). considering evacuation dangerousness, the maximum value will be suitable for computation of evacuation capacity and this will be submitted as a basic data for computation of evacuation capacity.

Recently the consideration for occupant's security has been raised as very important design element from the fire by building's large sized, higher storied, and its compounded. But the domestic laws regulated the predicative laws according to the technical standard which has no difference from the past domestic evacuation regulation. Therefore, regulation of escape code and developing technology for Korean conditions are needed to reduce victims during disaster by protecting occupant and guiding people to safe places.
Otemachi(大手町) is the region where it plays a pivotal role in Japanese economy as representative head offices of companies including financial insurance, general trading, information and communication newspaper media are concentrated. However, regenerating the entire region from worn-out infrastructures of buildings and city into the fresh and vibrant foothold in international business was the problem to be solved. In this situation, was examined on the basis of administrative agencies and relevant enterprises to reconstruct office buildings in phases without ceasing business functions and activities by utilizing the large-scale vacant land occurred from the relocation of the national public institutions. The independent administrative institution 'Urban Renaissance Agency(UR)' has completed the examination of industrialization and participation request for the commencement of the project. In this article, The overview of , the new form of project promoted and cooperated by officials and people, is introduced by UR (Urban Renaissance Agency) reorganizing the land exchange and infrastructure through the land readjustment project, and at the same time, procuring capital and building office buildings in solidarity with private development enterprises and financial institutions.

The Purpose of this study is to examine the present marine science education programs in Korea and understand how they are organized and how well they are being used. Eventually, being a foothold research prior to the construction of an inclusive marine science education portal site for elementary, middle, and high school students is the objective of this study. Through this study, we can expect three positive effects. First, through classification of marine science education programs, it can be used when dividing the contents and writing textbooks for elementary school students. Second, through the construction of portal site, we can expect to correct the recognition and understanding of marine and it will contribute to the future industry development. Third, we can offer the correct materials for teaching and learning and through learning, understanding on marine will get better.
