Focus group interviews were conducted with 6 experts with high expertise in government policy advertising and public relations among advertising and public relations academics and practitioners. It was found that low fertility PR strategy raised the problems of integrated public relations and budgeting. • The study sought ways to promote the global recognition of Korean food items. The Korean cuisine is one of the healthiest and well-balanced in the world. But, in contrast to countries including the United States, France, China, Japan, Thailand and Australia that have adopted food promotion and marketing strategies, Korea lacks a similar strategy. Development of indigenous sauces by Korean food manufacturers and processors is one route in the promotion of Korean cuisine. Korean restaurant franchising could also aid in export of Korean food items. The food manufacturing/processing sectors must work in concert with the Korean government to globalize the Korean cuisine. Brand chefs, Korean cuisine seminars and promotional efforts in foreign countries and foreign cooking schools (such as the 'Taste Korea' campaign) are prudent actions.

  • Most influenza vaccines currently in use target the highly variable hemagglutinin protein to induce neutralizing antibodies and therefore require yearly reformulation. T cell-based universal influenza vaccines focus on eliciting broadly cross-reactive T-cell responses, especially the tissue-resident memory T cell (TRM) population in the respiratory tract, providing superior protection to circulating memory T cells. This study demonstrated that intramuscular (i.m.) administration of the adenovirus-based vaccine expressing influenza virus nucleoprotein (rAd/NP) elicited weak CD8 TRM responses in the lungs and airways, and yielded poor protection against lethal influenza virus challenge. However, a novel "prime-and-deploy" strategy that combines i.m. vaccination of rAd/NP with subsequent intranasal administration of an empty adenovector induced strong NP-specific CD8+ TRM cells and provided complete protection against influenza virus challenge. Overall, our results demonstrate that this "prime-and-deploy" vaccination strategy is potentially applicable to the development of universal influenza vaccines.

  • This study aims to compare the differences in the carbon neutral agendas of the two countries based on the differing interest positions of the media in the two countries, as well as to analyze the carbon neutral media coverage in South Korea and China. It also seeks to identify the major topics emphasized in the carbon neutral news agenda setting process in the two countries. A total of 49,227 news articles from South Korea and 105,680 news articles from China, covering the period from the declaration of carbon neutrality in both countries in 2020 to May 9, 2022, were collected. CONCOR and topic modeling analyses were performed on these texts. The results found that South Korean media showed a preference for covering carbon neutrality from the perspective of its inhabitants, whereas Chinese media demonstrated a preference for covering carbon neutrality from the viewpoint of the nation. The discourses on coverages largely focus on areas such as energy strategy, business strategy, industrial growth, and international cooperation, with an obvious lack of discourse on the environment. The findings of this study expect to serve as a primary reference in establishing a news coverage strategy which is environmentally sustainable for the media.

  • Purpose - A brand's country-of-origin (COO) could influence a behavior of consumers in a country. Nevertheless, there have been few studies of how exporters overcome the barrier of a negative COO effect and what can be a useful strategy for an exporter to alleviate the effect on consumer behavior. Against this background, it is essential to present a factor moderating the effect on consumers' brand awareness. Therefore, suggesting that environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management would be such a factor, we attempted to develop a model showing that the management could moderate the relationship between the COO effects and consumers' recall and evaluation toward a foreign brand. Design/methodology/approach - Using the stakeholder theory, the categorization, and the attribution theory as underlying theories, our study developed an empirically testable model that explains and predicts consumers' behaviors. Findings - We posited that positive ESG information influences consumers' brand recall and evaluation. In addition, we posited that positive ESG information moderates the COO effects on consumers' brand recall. Finally, we posited that positive ESG information moderates the COO effects on consumers' brand evaluation. Research implications or Originality - This manuscript filled a knowledge gap of none of alternative strategy toward COO effects in export marketing and provided implications regarding exporters' branding strategy in a foreign country.

Appraisal emotion is found to have significant influence on perceived value while recreation motivation is found to directly influence appraisal emotion and perceived value. In a addition to customer satisfaction, peripheral service quality is the only factor that directly affectsrepurchase intention. Arts managers ought to focus on improving the whole experience of performing arts.
