A small number of active galactic nuclei are known to exhibit prominent double peak emission profiles that are well-fitted by a relativistic accretion disk model. We develop a Monte Carlo code to compute the linear polarization of a double peaked broad emission line arising from Thomson scattering. A Keplerian accretion disk is adopted for the double peak emission line region and the geometry is assumed to be Schwarzschild. Far from the accretion disk where flat Minkowski geometry is appropriate, we place an azimuthally symmetric scattering region in the shape of a spherical shell sliced with ${\Delta}{\mu}=0.1$. Adopting a Monte Carlo method we generate line photons in the accretion disk in arbitrary directions in the local rest frame and follow the geodesic paths of the photons until they hit the scattering region. The profile of the polarized flux is mainly determined by the relative location of the scattering region with respect to the emission source. When the scattering region is in the polar direction, the degree of linear polarization also shows a double peak structure. Under favorable conditions we show that up to 0.6% linear polarization may be obtained. We conclude that spectropolarimetry can be a powerful probe to reveal much information regarding the accretion disk geometry of these active galactic nuclei.
We have investigated vertical motions of plasma in the pores and changes of the motions with height by using high time and spatial resolutions data obtained by the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS) of the 1.6 meter New Solar Telescope (NST). We infer the LOS velocity by applying the bisector method to the wings of CaII 854.2 nm line profile. We find that (1) upflow velocity in the pores decreases with height and turns into downward in the upper chromosphere; (2) 3 min and 5 min oscillations are found from the Doppler velocity in the pore at various wavelengths from the wing (${\pm}2.35{\AA}$) to the core (${\pm}1.25{\AA}$) of the CaII line; and (3) power of high (low) frequency oscillation obtained from the CaII intensity increases (decreases) with height. We discuss the physical implications of our results in view of the connection of LOS plasma flows in a concentrated magnetic flux (pore) between the photosphere and the low chromosphere.
ECR(Electron Cyclotron Resonance) occure at ${\omega}_c$=${\omega}$, ${\omega}_c$:electron cycltron frequency, ${\omega}$:electromagnetic wave frequency. ECR system have several merit, 1) power transefer efficiency 2) low neutral gas pressure (below 1 mTorr) 3) high plasma density($10^{12}$$cm^{-3}$). It is applicated variously in the field of semiconductor and new materials as the manufacturing equipment. Magnetic field in ECR system contruct resonance layer (${\omega}$=2.45GHz, $B_z$=875 Gauss) and control plasma. Plasma is almost generated at resonance layer. If the distance between substrate and resonance layer is short, uniformity of plasma is related with profile of resonance layer. Plasma have the property "Cold in Field", so directonality of magnetic field is one of the control factors of anisotropic etching. In this study, we calculate B field and flux line distribution, optimize geometry and submagnet current and improve of magnetic field directionality (99.9%) near substrate. For the purpose of calculation, vector potential A(r,z) and magnetic field B(r,z), green function and numerical integration is used. Object function for submagnet optimization is magnetic field directionality on the substrate and Powell method is used as optimization skim.
A developed code is applied to simulate relative motion of floating bodies in a side-by-side arrangement, including effects of a fender and a hawser. The developed code is based on the flux-difference splitting scheme for immiscible incompressible fluids and the hybrid Cartesian/immersed boundary method. To validate the developed code for free surface flows around deforming boundaries, the water wave generation is simulated, which is caused by bed movement. The computed wave profile and time histories of wave elevation are compared with other experimental and computational results. The effects of a fender and a hawser are modeled by asymmetric force acting on the floating bodies according to a relative displacement with the bounds, in which the fender and the hawser exert no force on the bodies. It has been observed that the floating body can be accelerated by a gap flow due to a phase difference caused by the free surface. Grid independency is established for the computed time history of the body velocity, based on three different size grids.

The effects of the interaction between flow field and heat transfer caused by the longitudinal vortices are experimentally investigated using a five hole probe and a transient liquid crystal technique. The test facility consists of a wind tunnel with vortex generators protruding from a bottom surface and a mesh heater. In order to control the strength of the longitudinal vortices, the angle of attack of vortex generators used in the present experiment is 20$^{\circ}$, and the spacing between the vortex generators is 25mm. The height and cord length of the vortex generator is 20mm and 50mm, respectively. Three-component mean velocity measurements are made using a f-hole probe system, and the surface temperature distribution is measured by the hue capturing method using a transient liquid crystal technique. The transient liquid crystal technique in measuring heat transfer has become one of the most effective ways in determining the full surface distributions of heat transfer coefficients. The key point of this technique is to convert the inlet flow temperature into an exponential temperature profile using the mesh heater set up in the wind tunnel. The conclusions obtained in the present experiment are as follows: The two maximum heat transfer values exist over the whole domain, and as the longitudinal vortices move to the farther downstream region, these peak values show the decreasing trends. These trends are also observed in the experimental results of other researchers to have used the uniform heat flux method.

The buoyancy effects on mixed convection heat transfer over a flat plate surface with unheated starting length is reported. The governing equations are solved by a finite difference method using Patankar scheme and the solution was numerically obtained for various mixed convection parametr $Gr_{x}/Re_{x}^3$, and Prandtl number of 0.7 Local heat flux was measured by using Schilieren Interferometer. The local heat transfer results show that the presence of the unheated starting length can significantly accentuate the effects of buoyancy. The degree of accentuation of the buoyancy effects is strongly influenced by the magnitude of $Gr_{x}/Re_{x}^3$. When the parameter is larger than the order of $10^{-3}$, the contribution of natural convection to the heat transfer coefficients increased significantly due to the unheated starting length. In contrast, when $Gr_{x}/Re_{x}^3$ is smaller then about $10^{-5}$ , the buoyancy contribution is essentially unaffected by the unheated starting length. The shape of the velocity profile is also found to be highly responsive to the interaction between the buoyancy and the starting length.

Present silicon dioxide (SiOz) 떠m as intennetal dielectridIMD) layers will result in high parasitic c capacitance and crosstalk interference in 비gh density devices. Low dielectric materials such as f f1uorina뼈 silicon oxide(SiOF) and f1uoropolymer IMD layers have been tried to s이ve this problem. Recent radiotherapy dose planning system (RTPS) generally adapted the kernel beam using the convolution method for computation of tissue dose. To get a depth and profile dose in a given depth concerened a given photon beam, the energy spectrum was reconstructed from the attenuation dose of transmission of filter through iterative numerical analysis. The experiments were performed with 15 MV X rays (Oncor, Siemens) and ionization chamber (0.125 cc, PTW) for measurements of filter transmitted dose. The energy spectrum of 15MV X-rays was determined from attenuated dose of lead filter transmission from 0.51 cm to 8.04 cm with energy interval 0.25 MeV. In the results, the peak flux revealed at 3.75 MeV and mean energy of 15 MV X rays was 4.639 MeV in this experiments. The results of transmitted dose of lead filter showed within 0.6% in average but maximum 2.5% discrepancy in a 5 cm thickness of lead filter. Since the tissue dose is highly depend on the its energy, the lateral dose are delivered from the lateral spread of energy fluence through flattening filter shape as tangent 0.075 and 0.125 which showed 4.211 MeV and 3.906 MeV. In this experiments, analyzed the energy spectrum has applied to obtain the percent depth dose of RTPS (XiO, Version 4.3.1, CMS). The generated percent depth dose from $6{\times}6cm^2$ of field to $30{\times}30cm^2$ showed very close to that of experimental measurement within 1 % discrepancy in average. The computed dose profile were within 1% discrepancy to measurement in field size $10{\times}10cm$, however, the large field sizes were obtained within 2% uncertainty. The resulting algorithm produced x-ray spectrum that match both quality and quantity with small discrepancy in this experiments.
