지역화된 동북아시아지역의 지구자기장 영년변화 모델: 1997-2011 (A Localized Secular Variation Model of the Geomagnetic Field Over Northeast Asia Region between 1997 to 2011)

  • 동북아시아에 위치한 4개의 지자기 관측소의 3성분 지구자기장 관측 자료를 이용하여 1997년부터 2011년 동안의 지구자기장의 영년변화를 표현하는 지역화된 영년변화 모델을 제작하였다. 외핵의 움직임으로 발생되는 지구자기장은 장소와 시간에 따라 변화하며 지자기 관측소에서는 이를 시계열로 측정하게 된다. 따라서 공간적인 변화를 함께 파악하기 위해서는 이를 시공간모델로 제작하여 시간에 따른 지구자기장의 변화를 공간적으로도 표현할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 전지구 범위인 경우 관측소의 분포가 제한되어 있고 이를 공간적으로 보완하기 위해 위성 자료를 활용한다. 하지만 방대하고 복잡한 위성 자료의 처리와 세계의 모든 지자기 관측소의 자료를 활용하여 전 지구적 지구자기장의 모델을 제작하는 일은 상당한 작업과 노력을 요구한다. 또한 계속해서 들어오는 자료들을 이용하여 모델을 업데이트 하는 일 역시 같은 양의 시간과 노력을 필요로 하게 된다. 더불어, 각 관측소 자료의 오차범위와 위성 자료 처리 오차 (processing error) 역시 지역에 따라 다르게 나타남으로 이러한 오차값들이 전지구 모델의 정확도에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 감안하여 동북아시아 지역을 중심으로 하는 지역화된(localized) 모델링 기법을 소개하고 이를 통해 지구자기장의 영년변화 모델을 제작하는 데 적용하였다. 전 세계의 지구자기장 관측망인 INTERMAGNET에 가입된 3개의 일본 관측소와 1곳의 중국 관측소 자료를 활용하여 1997년부터 2011년까지 6개월 간격으로 지구자기장의 변화를 파악하고 이를 전지구 모델과 비교해 보았다. 또한 얻어진 모델을 이용하여 지구 내부의 원인인 지구자기장의 급작스런 변화를 일컫는 지구자기장 '급변'을 찾아보고 이에 대한 발생 시기에 대해 논의하였다.

울릉도산 산채류 추출물의 총 폴리페놀 함량 및 항산화 활성 (Total Polyphenol Contents and Antioxidant Activities of Methanol Extracts from Vegetables produced in Ullung Island)

  • 본 연구에서는 산채식물들을 이용한 새로운 기능성 소재의 개발에 우선하여 생산량과 소비량이 비교적 양호한 산채류 7종 즉, 물엉겅퀴, 쇠무릅, 울릉미역취, 섬고사리, 서덜취, 눈개승마 및 쇠비름을 선정하여 각 부위별 메탄올추출물을 제조한 후 이들의 항산화 활성을 검색하였다. 총 폴리페놀성 화합물의 함량은 $16.74-130.20{\mu}g/mg$으로 다양하게 나타났다. 섬고사리 잎과 울릉미역취 뿌리는 DPPH 와 ABTS+ 소거활성에서 각각 13.20과 $14.91{\mu}g/mL$. 43.93과 $29.08{\mu}g/mL$$RC_{50}$ 값을 보여 가장 높은 소거활성을 나타냈으며 또한 폴리페놀의 함량에 비례하여 소거활성이 증가하여 폴리페놀 함량과 free radical 소거활성은 깊은 연관성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. $H_{2}O_{2}$에 대한 소거활성은 섬고사리 잎과 뿌리 및 울릉미역취 뿌리에서 각각 72.83, 89, 99.62%로 높은 활성을 나타냈고 이러한 결과 역시 폴리페놀 함량과의 연관성을 나타냈다. 산채나물 추출물을 이용하여 linoleic acid에 대한 과산화 억제 효과를 ferric thiocyanate법으로 살펴본 결과, $100{\mu}g/mL$의 처리농도에서 모두 90% 이상의 산화억제 효과를 보였고, $10{\mu}g/mL$ 처리 농도에서는 울릉미역취 뿌리와 씨 그리고 서덜취 잎에서 각각 83.4, 87.4, 79.8%의 산학억제 효과를 보였다. Hydroxy radical에 의한 2-deoxy-D-ribose의 산화억제 효과는 $100{\mu}g/mL$의 처리농도에서 쇠무릎 잎과 씨, 물엉겅퀴 씨, 울릉미역취 씨는 116.9, 84.8, 94.3, 93.9%로 높은 저해율을 보였다. 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 감마선 조사 및 저온저장($10^{\circ}C$)은 김밥재료 뿐만 아니라 김밥의 미생물 제어에 효과적인 것으로 확인되었다.와 비례하는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 FA-swelling mica의 중금속 이온의 선택성은 Pb>Cu>Cd$\geq$Zn 순으로 나타났다.지 않았다.l years and a new type of transfer crane has been developed. 비가열냉동 당근주스의 HACCP 시스템 적용을 위한 미생물학적 위해 분석 (Microbiological Hazard Analysis for HACCP System Application to Non Heat-Frozen Carrot Juice)

  • 본 연구는 비가열 섭취 냉동 당근주스의 HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)시스템 구축을 위하여 생물학적 위해요소분석을 위한 목적으로 2013년 6월 21일~2014년 3월 30일까지 약 270일간 제주도 제주시 구좌읍 소재에 있는 구좌농협에서 수행하였다. 일반적인 과채주스 제조업체의 제조공정을 참고로 하여 공정도를 작성하였으며, 원료 농산물(당근), 용수와 포장재료 입고, 보관, 세척, 분쇄, 착즙, 냉각, 내포장, 금속검출, 외포장, 보관 및 출하공정에 대하여 Fig. 1과 같이 작성하였다. 원료 당근의 세척 전, 세척 후의 Coliform group, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella spp., Bacillus cereus, Listeria Monocytogenes, 장출혈성대장균수를 측정한 결과 Bacillus cereus 는 세척 전 $4.70{\times}10^4CFU/g$이었으나, 세척 후 $1.02{\times}10^2CFU/g$ 검출되었으며, 나머지 병원성균은 검출되지 않았다. 자외선살균공정에서 당근주스의 유속를 변화시키면서 미생물의 변화를 시험한 결과 유속 4 L/min을 한계기준으로 결정하였다. 작업장별 공중낙하균(일반세균수, 대장균, 진균수) 시험결과 세척실의 미생물수는 20 CFU/Plate가 검출되었다. 작업자 손 세척 전후 시험결과 세척 전 일반세균수가 $6{\times}10^4CFU/cm^2$로 높게 나타났으나 손 세척 후에는 검출되지 않아 손 세척 및 소독에 대한 중요성을 교육하고 훈련해야 할 것이다. 제조설비 및 기구의 표면오염도를 검사한 결과 모든 시료에서 대장균군은 검출되지 않았고, 일반세균은 포장기 노즐에서 가장 많은 $8.5{\times}10^4CFU/cm^2$ 검출되었다. 위해분석 결과 병원성미생물을 예방, 감소 또는 제거할 수 있는 자외선살균 공정이 CCP-B (Biological)로 관리되어야 하고, 한계기준은 유속 4 L/min로 결정하였다. 따라서 Kwon의 유산균을 함유한 녹즙의 HACCP에 관한 연구에서와 같이 자외선살균 공정의 한계기준 및 이탈시 조치방법, 검증방법, 교육 훈련과 기록관리 등 철저한 HACCP 관리계획이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

본류와 지류의 수온 차에 의한 합류부 혼합 양상 분석 (Analysis of the mixing effect of the confluence by the difference in water temperature between the main stream and the tributary)

  • 하천 합류부는 서로 다른 지형학적 특성과 수리학적 특성을 가지는 두 개의 하천이 하나로 합쳐지는 구간으로 급격한 흐름의 변화 및 퇴적물의 유입과 수리학적 지형변화가 발생하는 구간이다. 합류부 구간에서는 물질의 종류 또는 온도 차로 유체의 흐름이 밀도 차이로 발생하게 되는데 이것을 밀도류라고 한다. 밀도 차이에 의해 성층이 생긴 수체혼합거동을 파악하기 위해서는 본류 및 지류의 일정 구간을 포함하는 합류부 구간에 대한 정밀한 계측 및 관찰이 필요하다. 이러한 수체 혼합에 대한 종합적인 분석은 유속장 및 유량 정보를 취득하여 파악할 수 있지만, 성층류가 흐르는 하천의 서로 상이한 물리적 특성과 수질특성을 가지는 수체의 혼합양상 및 그에 따른 물질혼합양상을 파악하는데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 합류부 구간에서의 수온 분포를 통하여 밀도류를 파악하고자 한다. 하천의 광범위한 데이터 중 연직 자료와 수표면 자료를 취득하였고, 이를 통해 합류부의 성층현상을 확인하고자 하였다. ADCP를 보트 측면에 설치하여 저속운행으로 수리량을 측정하는 방식과 YSI를 이용해 측선설치 없이 측선 선정 후 보트를 이용하여 흐름에 직각인 방향으로 이동하며 실시간 농도를 측정하는 방식으로 얻은 연직자료 중 수온, 전도도(Conductivity) 등의 직독식 센서 데이터 값을 사용하여 수온 차에 따른 수체혼합 패턴을 분석하여 합류부의 혼합양상을 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 기존 수질 측정의 한계였던 1차원적인 측정결과가 나타내는 분석결과를 2차원적으로 보완이 가능하며, 비교 분석한 결과를 토대로 밀도류에 따른 혼합양상 결과가 지니는 혼합패턴을 분석한다면 향후 하천 하류구간의 취수 시스템에 많은 도움을 줄 뿐만 아니라 합류부 구간의 혼합패턴에 따라 수층 내 성층구간의 현황조사와 하천 합류부의 혼합특성 파악하여 합류구간의 수질 관리방안이나 수체 흐름특성을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Maximum output voltage of the developed magnetic nerve stimulator using the switching mode power supply is 3,000 volts and switching time is about 100 msec. Experimental results or human nerve stimulations using the developed stimulator are presented. 30768 T00401030768 ^x In this paper, we describe the design methodology and specifications of the developed module-based bedside monitors for patient monitoring. The bedside monitor consists of a main unit and module cases with various parameter modules. The main unit includes a 12.1" TFT color LCD, a main CPU board, and peripherals such as a module controller, Ethernet LAN card, video card, rotate/push button controller, etc. The main unit can connect at maximum three module cases each of which can accommodate up to 7 parameter modules. They include the modules for electrocardiograph, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, temperature, and SpO2 with Plethysmograph.

결핵 환자에서 면역학적 지표로서의 sIL-2R, IFN-$\gamma$, Neopterin에 관한 연구 (Soluble IL-2R, IFN-$\gamma$ and Neopterin as Immunologic Markers in Patients with Tuberculosis)

  • 연구배경 :결핵은 세포 매개성 면역반응이 병태생리에 중요한 역할을 하는 감염성 질환이다. 결핵균 항원으로 T 림프구가 활성화되면 여러 종류의 cytokine을 분비하며 T 림프구의 분화와 증식, 대식세포의 활성화를 촉진한다. 본 연구에서는 결핵의 중증도, 숙주의 면역상태 및 예후를 반영하는 지표로서 활성화된 T 림프구에서 만들어지는 IL-2의 수용성 수용체인 sIL-2R와 IFN-$\gamma$를 측정하였고 활성화된 대식세포에서 분비되는 neopterin을 측정하여 임상적 유용성을 판정하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법 :활동성 폐결핵 환자 39명, 결핵성 림프절염 환자 6명의 치료전과 정상 대조군 10명에서 혈청 sIL-2R, neopterin, IFN-$\gamma$를 측정하였고, 결핵성 흉막염 환자 22명에서 치료전 혈청과 흉막액에서 각각 sIL-2R, ADA, neopterin을 측정하였다. 폐결핵 환자 39명을 ATS guidelines에 따라 중증도를 분류하였고, 사망한 1명과 결핵요양소로 전원된 2명을 제외한 36명에서 초치료 2개월 후 혈청 sIL-2R, neopterin과 IFN-$\gamma$를 측정하였다. 결 과 : 1) sIL-2R과 IFN-$\gamma$는 결핵환자에서 대조군에 비하여 증가된 경향을 보였다(p>0.05). Neopterin은 대조군 $4949{\pm}1242.l$ pg/ml, 폐결핵 $29.67{\pm}2132.8$ pg/ml, 결핵성 림프절엽 $3013{\pm}1877.3$ pg/ml, 결핵성 흉막염이 $2035{\pm}1216.4$ pg/ml로 결핵환자에서 대조군에 비하여 감소되는 경향을 보였으며, 폐결핵군과 결핵성 흉막염군에서는 통계적으로 유의하게 감소되어 있었다(p<0.05). 2) 폐결핵의 중증도가 심할수록 sIL-2R와 IFN-$\gamma$는 증가하였고, neopterin은 감소하였다(p<0.01). 3) 폐결핵 환자 36명에서 치료 후 측정한 sIL-2R는 $1071{\pm}l139.4$ U/ml에서 $1023{\pm}1920.9$ U/ml로(p>0.05), IFN-$\gamma$$41{\pm}52.8$ pg/ml에서 $22{\pm}23.9$ pg/ml로 각각 감소하였고 (p<0.05), neopterin은 $3158{\pm}2272.6$ pg/ml에서 $3737{\pm}2307.5$ pg/ml로 증가하였다(p>0.05). 이러한 결과는 경증군과 중등증군에 비해 중증군에서 현저한 변화를 보였고 임상적 경과와 상관성을 보였다. 4) 결핵성 흉막염 환자 22명에서 sIL-2R와 ADA는 혈청에 비하여 흉막액에서 유의하게 높은 값을 보였으나(p<0.01), neopterin은 차이가 없었다(p>0.05). 결 론 : 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 특히 중증군에서 치료 후에 sIL-2R, IFN-$\gamma$와 neopterin을 추적 관찰하면 숙주의 면역반응상태, 임상적 중증도 및 치료 반응성을 예측하는데 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다. 또한 결핵성 흉막염 환자에서는 국소적인 변역반웅의 활성화로 흉막액내의 면역학적 지표의 측정이 혈청 검사보다 특이적이며, 흉막액의 sIL-2R의 측정이 결핵성 흉막염의 진단에 유용할 것으로 생각된다.
