This experiment was conducted to develop and design a product that is convenient and helpful to both patients and ordinary people who want to maintain their health. In this experimentation, the experimental rat have been given with high fat food to induce Diabetes. Organic brown rice was given as their main energy source and natural complex food, most of materials were freeze-dried, was given to observe its effects on their glucose amount in the plasma. The results are as follows. During 28 days of basal diets, as observing their weight variations, normal group gained weights, but the natural complex food(NCF) groups lost their weights. As comparing the amount of neutral fat levels in the plasma between the diabetes group who just had basal group and one who had NCF, group with NCF groups' level was much lower than the other group who just had basal food. As comparing total cholesterol levels in the plasma, with diabetes group with basal food, $50\%$ and $100\%$ NCF groups' levels were lowered than that group. Regarding HDL-cholesterol level, all NCE groups had around 30mg/dl and there were not much fluctuation among groups. As for LDL-cholesterol level, the $100\%$ NCF group had the lowest level and showed almost the same as the normal group. The amounts of the glucose in the plasma were lowered in all NCF groups. Among those NCE groups, $100\%$ NCF group had 120mg/dl to reach almost the same as the normal group.

This study is characterized the groundwater flow pattern near crystalline site of Yangbook-Myeon, Gyeong-ju City, South Korea. From the time series analyses, groundwater level could be classified into 4 types reflecting the hydrogeological characteristics and rainfall pattern. The type I (DB1-1, DB1-2) may be directly influenced by rainfall pattern. The type II (DB1-3, DB1-7, KB-1, KB-2, KB-3, KB-7, KB-14, KB-15) may be influenced by rainfall event as well as groundwater flow through water-conducting features. The type III (DB-5, DB1-6, DB2-2, KB-10, KB-11, KB-13) may be predominantly happens in the crystaline rock mass, groundwater in this type flows through the minor fracture networks rather than direct effect of rainfall event. The type IV (DB1-8, KB-9) may be influenced by irregular variation of the groundwater level due to anisotropy and heterogeneity of crystalline rock.
The aim of this study is to compare the geometric characteristics of the lung tumor, such as tumor centroid, HU change relative to breath phase, depending on tumor location and adhesion using 4DCT and deformable image registration program (MIMVista). The Y axis change was most significant and the mean Y axis centroid fluctuation was $7.32{\pm}6.88mm$ in lower lung tumor. The mean HU variation in lower lung mass has changed more than other locations, and its mean HU variation was $7.7{\pm}4.97%$ and non-adhered mass was more changed. Correlation for the mass volume between 3DCT and MIP was very high and its coefficient was 0.998. The effect of tumor location, adhesion and diaphragm excursion to geometric uncertainties was analyzed by linear regression model, it was influenced to mass deformation and geometrical variation so much except diaphragm excursion. but intra-fractional and inter-patient's uncertainties were great, so it couldn't find any exact deformation trend.
In this study we analyse how the tobacco prices have an effect on the national health. The level of tobacco price will fluctuate its consumers demand and eventually affect the national health status. We estimate tobacco consumption function as well as households'demand system in which tobacco and health expenditure functions are included. Demand elasticities are estimated and evaluated in order to find future policies to improve the national health by controlling the national tobacco consumption There are two econometric approaches app1ied in this study. The lent tobacco demand analysis method is mm tobacco consumption function model. Using national indices of tobacco price, tobacco consumption and other related variables, tobacco consumption function is estimated. The other is micro demand system analysis by using Korean urban households expenditure data during the period of 1991 to 1999. The own price elasticity which is estimated from national tobacco demand per capita is -0.19 for all people and -0.176 for the adults over 18, which means 100% price increase will cause decease of tobacco demand at 19% and 17.6% per each The cross vice elasticity which is estimated between tobacco and health expenditure of urban households demand system is -0.2328, which implies 100% of tobacco price increase will decrease 23.28% of health expenditure. The low price elasticities imply that tobacco price increase will increase total tobacco sales volume. 100% of tobacco price increase will bring about 79% increase of total tobacco sales volume according to our scenario. Korea's tobacco demand is negatively responsive to fluctuations in its price. The health expenditure is also negatively relatedto the tobacco price fluctuation. These empirical outputs could be utilized as the basis of government's tax policy to control national tobacco consumption in the future.
Recently, Due to Climate change, extreme rainfall occurs frequently. In many preceding studies, Because of extreme hydrological events changes, it is expected that peak flood Magnitude and frequency of drainage infrastructures changes. However, at present, probability rainfall in the drainage facilities design is assumed to Stationary which are not effected from climate change and long-term fluctuation. In the future, flood control safety standard should be reconsidered about the valid viewpoint. In this paper, in order to assess impact of climate change on drainage system, Future climate change information has been extracted from RCP 8.5 Climate Change Scenario for IPCC AR5, then estimated the design rainfall for various durations at return periods. Finally, the design flood estimated through the HEC-HMS Model which is being widely used in the practices, estimated the effect of climate change on the Design Flood of Mihochen basin. The results suggested that the Design Flood increase by climate change. Due to this, the Flood risk of Mihochen basin can be identified to increase comparing the present status.

This paper proposes a housing business model, where the presale and Chonsei housing are supplied under a presale system at the same time based on the characteristic correlation between the housing presale market and Chonsei market in Korea. Markowitz portfolio theory was used to review the risk diversification effects from the changes in the ratio between the presale housing supply and the Chonsei housing supply. The housing sale price indicator was used as a proxy variable to determine the presale housing supply. The housing Chonsei price indicator was used as a proxy variable to determine the Chonsei housing supply. The proposed housing business model was applied to major areas in Korea to examine the risk diversification effect. Comparisons of the regional portfolio analyses showed that the flexibility of the proposed housing business model can be quite effective because each regional housing market exhibits different characteristics. Market participants, such as developers, construction companies, consumers, and government, can expect various effects through the proposed housing business model. Nevertheless, policy support is necessary for practical applications of the proposed housing business model. In particular, public funds from the government need to be introduced.
The effect of phosphorus and potassium on the leaf yielding from the mulberry field was surveyed, designing four application levels of potassium and phosphorus respectively; Po, P$^1$/$_2$ and P$_1$and P$_2$ for phosphorus, K$^1$/$_3$, K$^2$/$_3$, K$_1$and K$_2$for potassium after amount of nitrogen was constant at 25kg/l0a. The standard application of three elements is at 25-11-15kg/l0a. No application only showed significance among the treatments in the 3rd year autumn. However there is no significance, ever decreasing 2.7∼5.9% of leaf yielding in application of potassium and 6.4∼11.5% of leaf yielding in application of phosphorus. There is also no increase of leaf yielding even with application of double quantity of phosphorus and potassium. Potassium in soil was considerably fluctuated, while fluctuation of phosphorus is very low. With these results, it was evident that the conventional application level for phosphorus (11kg/l0a) is reasonable and for potassium may be cut down to 5∼10kg/l0a without showing any significance for the successive three years.
In this study, seasonal Mann - Kendall test method was applied to 12 stations of the water quality measurement network of Nam-River based on data of BOD, COD, TN and TP for 11 years from January 2005 to December 2015 The changes of water quality at each station were examined through linear trends and the tendency of water quality change during the study period was analyzed by applying the locally weighted scatter plot smoother (LOWESS) method. In addition, spatial trends of the whole Nam-River were examined by items. The flow-adjusted seasonal Kendall test was performed to remove the flow at the water quality measurement station. As a result, BOD, COD concentration showed "no trand" and TN and TP concentration showed "down trand" in regional Kendall test throughout the study period. BOD and TP concentration in "no trand", COD, and TN concentration showed an "up trand" tendency in Nam-River dam. LOWESS analysis showed no significant water quality change in most of the analysis items and stations, but water quality fluctuation characteristics were shown at some stations such as NR1 (Kyungho-River 1), NR2 (Kyungho-River 2), NR3 (Nam-River), NR6 (Nam-River 2A). In addition, the flow-adjusted seasonal Kendall results showed that the BOD concentration was "up trand" due to the flow at the NR3 (Nam-River) station. The COD concentration was "up trand" due to the flow at NR1 (Kyungho-River 1) and NR2 (Kyungho-River 2) located upstream of the Nam-River. The effect of influent flow on water quality varies according to each site and analysis item. Therefore, for the effective water quality management in the Nam-River, it is necessary to take measures to improve the water quality at the point where the water quality is continuously "up trand" during the study period.
Background and Objectives This study aimed at examining the effects of photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) on glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, and low- and high-density lipoprotein (LDL and HDL, respectively) levels in vitro. Materials and Methods A total of 38 serum samples collected in plain (n=10) and heparinized tubes (n=28) were subjected to PBMT at 60 Joules (J)/cm2 for 2 min at 810 nm. The glucose and lipid profiles, cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, and HDL of each sample was measured before and after PBMT. Results A statistically significant increase in glucose levels was observed in the PBMT-sera in 8 out of 10 samples in plain tubes. However, only two samples that were prepared in heparinized tubes showed an increase in glucose levels. The remaining heparinized samples that were exposed to PBMT presented lower glucose values. The treated sera exhibited a fluctuation in the lipid profiles after PBMT. However, high cholesterol levels were evident following PBMT. Similar trends with HDL and LDL in heparinized tubes were evident. Conclusion Together, the findings suggest that photobiomodulation exhibits an effect on glycemic and lipid profiles in vitro. Hence, the use of low-level laser therapy could have therapeutic potential. However, the differences between individual responses appear to indicate that the impact of PBMT may not always be beneficial.
Purpose: Pipes are widely used as applied devices in many industrial fields such as machinery, electronics, electricity, and plants, and are also widely used in safety-related fields such as firefighting and chemistry. With the diversification of products, the importance of technology in the piping field is also increasing. In particular, when changing the existing copper pipe to stainless steel, it is necessary to evaluate safety and flow characteristics through structural analysis or flow analysis. Method: This study investigated the safety by flow analysis of the 6.35 inch socket model, which are integrated insert type connectors developed by a company, using CFD analysis technique. For CDF analysis, RAN model and LES model are used. Result: As results of the analysis, amplitude of the pressure fluctuation acting on the wall of the piping system is formed at a level of 3,780 Pa or less, which is a very small level of pressure compared with the operating pressure or design stress of the refrigerant piping. Conclusion: These results mean that the effect of vibration caused by turbulence on the structural safety of the pipe is negligible.
