새로 개발된 부상형 육묘에 있어서 스티로포움 판의 두께가 연초 묘 생육에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Thickness of Styrofoam-Panel on Tobacco Seedling Growth in Newly Developed Floating System)

  • The inluence of styrofoam-panel thickness of floating frame on the seedling growth of flue-cured tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.) in the newly developed direct-seed float system was investigated . Floating frame used instead of styrofoam-tray consisted of styrofoam-panel (106×108cm) for floating, eight holes(1.Sx2S.0 cm) to uniform the water, and nutrition supply far seedling and water and nutrition absorption cloth placed on the styrofoam-panel. Each floating-frame may lay eight plastic-trays on it. Eight grades of styrofoam-panel thickness from 26 mm to 46mm and two kinds of media were used in the greenhouse system. Dry cells were found from the styrofoam-panel thickness of 43mm in carbonized chaff, compost and original soil rate of L3-3(v/v) media, and of 37mm in peat and perlite rate of 8-2(v/v) media. The thinner styrofoam-panel produced more tender and succulent seedling with the more trunk and the less root weight. When considering the appearance of dry cell, seedling growth, producing healthy tobacco seedlings, and utilization of styrofoam-panel for two kinds of medias the ideal styrofoam-panel thickness were suggested to be around 34mm for flue-cured tobacco reeling production in the newly developed direct-seeding float system. 해양플랜트 플로트오버 설치 공법용 수동형 갑판 지지 프레임의 최소중량설계와 민감도 평가를 위한 실험계획법 응용 (Application of Experimental Design Methods for Minimum Weight Design and Sensitivity Evaluation of Passive-Type Deck Support Frame for Offshore Plant Float-Over Installation)

  • 본 연구에서는 20,000 톤급 해양플랜트 상부구조물(Topside)의 플로트오버 설치작업을 위해 개발된 수동형 갑판 지지 프레임(Deck support frame)의 구조설계에 대해 다양한 실험계획법을 이용한 최소중량설계와 민감도 평가의 비교연구를 수행하였다. 수동형 갑판 지지 프레임의 주요 구조부재의 두께 치수 변수는 설계인자로 고려하였고, 응답치는 중량과 강도성능으로 선정하였다. 최소중량설계와 민감도 평가의 비교연구에 사용한 실험계획법은 직교배열설계법, Box-Behnken 설계법, 그리고 Latin hypercube 설계법이다. 실험계획법의 설계공간 탐색의 근사화 성능을 평가하기 위해 반응표면법을 각 실험계획법 별로 생성하여 근사화 정확도 특성을 검토하였다. 또한 최소중량설계를 위해 최상 설계안의 결과로 부터 실험계획법의 특성에 따른 수치계산 비용, 중량감소 효과 등을 평가하였다. 수동형 갑판 지지 프레임의 구조설계에 대해 Box-Behnken 설계법이 가장 적합한 설계 결과를 나타내었다.

Nylon SCY 편성물의 편성조직에 따른 외형, 신장특성 및 의복압 변화 (Appearance, stretch, and clothing pressure changes in nylon SCY knitted fabric by structure)

  • This research aims to obtain useful data on the development of compression garment products with high-stretch knitted materials. Using nylon SCY, four specimens were knitted. Then, appearance (width, length, weight, thickness), stretch property (stretch, recovery) and clothing pressure were measured and their interrelation was analyzed. In the comparison of appearance features, yarn floating caused shrinkage in both course and wale directions of the specimens. Yarn overlapping by tucking caused a release in the course direction and shrinkage in the wale direction. Also, structural change was affected by the weight and thickness change of the knitted fabric. In the analysis of fabric stretch, yarn floating reduced the extension in course direction and increased that in wale direction of the knitted fabric. However, yarn overlapping reduced the elongation in both directions. In the analysis of recovery, yarn floating and overlapping raised fabric recovery in both directions, and tuck structure was superior to float in recovery. In the analysis of clothing pressure, 'Plain-Float' structured fabrics showed a higher clothing pressure than 'Plain' and the clothing pressure value of 'Plain-Tuck' was lower than that of 'Plain'. As for the correlation between fabric appearance, stretch property, and clothing pressure, the appearance change in course direction had a major influence on the clothing pressure. The shrinkage of appearance led to a decrease in stretch and an increase in clothing pressure.

직교배열실험 방법 기반 해양플랜트 플로트오버 설치 공법용 수동형 DSF의 구조설계 민감도와 메타모델링 평가 (Evaluation on Structure Design Sensitivity and Meta-modeling of Passive Type DSF for Offshore Plant Float-over Installation Based on Orthogonal Array Experimental Method)

  • Structure design sensitivity was evaluated using the orthogonal array experimental method for passive-type deck support frame (DSF) developed for float-over installation of the offshore plant. Moreover, approximation characteristics were also reviewed based on various meta-models. The minimum weight design of the DSF is significantly important for securing both maneuvering performance and buoyancy of a ship equipped with the DSF and guaranteeing structural design safety. The performance strength of the passive type DSF was evaluated through structure analysis based on the finite element method. The thickness of main structure members was applied to design factors, and output responses were considered structure weight and strength performances. Quantitative effects on the output responses for each design factor were evaluated using the orthogonal array experimental method and analysis of variance. The optimum design case was also identified from the orthogonal array experiment results. Various meta-models, such as Chebyshev orthogonal polynomial, Kriging, response surface method, and radial basis function-based neural network, were generated from the orthogonal array experiment results. The results of the orthogonal array experiment were validated using the meta-modeling results. It was found that the radial basis function-based neural network among the meta-models could approximate the design space of the passive type DSF with the highest accuracy.

상동광산 광물찌꺼기의 비소제거를 위한 부유선별에서 인산염 첨가의 영향 (The Effect of Phosphate Addition in Flotation to Remove As in Tailings from Sangdong Mine)

  • As의 평균함량이 285 mg/kg인 상동광산 광물찌꺼기의 As제거를 위한 부유선별에서 인산염 첨가에 따른 영향을 알아보기 위해 제3인산나트륨(이하 T.S.P)을 분산제로 첨가하여 부유선별을 실시하였다. 먼저 분산제 없이 부유선별을 진행한 결과, As제거율은 88.7%, 부상물의 무게비는 2.52%였고 추가적으로 T.S.P를 첨가하여 부유선별을 실시한 결과 각각 92.74%, 2.26%로 As제거율은 증가하고 부상물의 무게비는 감소하였다. 두 실험의 부상물을 대상으로 입도분석을 진행한 결과, T.S.P를 첨가하지 않은 부상물은 평균입도가 19.34 um, 10 um이하의 양이 전체의 40.2%인 반면 T.S.P를 첨가할 경우, 각각 176.8 um, 6.5%였으며 이를 통해 미립입자의 부유가 억제되었음을 확인하였다. 또한 X.R.F 분석을 통해 두 실험 부상물의 실리카($SiO_2$)함량을 비교해본 결과, T.S.P를 첨가하지 않은 경우 42.74%, 첨가한 부상물의 경우 29.56%로 실리카계열의 친수성입자가 효과적으로 분산되어 부유가 억제되는 결과를 확인하였다.

Dynamics model of the float-type wave energy converter considering tension force of the float cable

  • We have developed the novel device that can extract energy from ocean waves utilizing the heaving motion of a floating mass. The major components of the energy converter are: a floater, a counterweight, a cable, a driving pulley, two idler pulleys, a ratchet, and a generator. The device generates power through the tension force in the cable and the weight difference between the floater and the counterweight. When the system is at static free condition, the tension in the cable is equal to the weight of the counterweight which is minimum. Therefore it is desirable to keep the counterweight lighter than the floater. However, experiments show that during the rise of the water level, the torque generated by weight of the counterweight is insufficient to rotate the driving pulley which causes the cable on the floater side to slack. The proposed application of the tension pulley rectifies these problems by preventing the cable from becoming slack when the water level rises. In this paper, the dynamics model is modified to incorporate the dynamics of the tension pulley. This has been achieved by first writing the dynamical equations for the tension pulley and the energy converter separately and combining them later. This paper investigates numerically the effect of the tension pulley on various physical quantities such as the cable tension, the floater displacement, and the floater velocity. Results obtained indicate that this application is successful in suppressing large fluctuations of the cable tension.

Surrogate Model Based Approximate Optimization of Passive Type Deck Support Frame for Offshore Plant Float-over Installation

  • The paper deals with comparative study of various surrogate models based approximate optimization in the structural design of the passive type deck support frame under design load conditions. The passive type deck support frame was devised to facilitate both transportation and installation of 20,000 ton class topside. Structural analysis was performed using the finite element method to evaluate the strength performance of the passive type deck support frame in its initial design stage. In the structural analysis, the strength performances were evaluated for various design load conditions. The optimum design problem based on surrogate model was formulated such that thickness sizing variables of main structure members were determined by minimizing the weight of the passive type deck support frame subject to the strength performance constraints. The surrogate models used in the approximate optimization were response surface method, Kriging model, and Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials. In the context of numerical performances, the solution results from approximate optimization were compared to actual non-approximate optimization. The response surface method among the surrogate models used in the approximate optimization showed the most appropriate optimum design results for the structure design of the passive type deck support frame.

  • 본 연구에서는 해양플랜트의 플로트오버 설치 작업을 위해 개발된 능동형 갑판지지 프레임(Deck support frame, DSF)의 구조설계에 대해 직교배열실험 방법을 이용한 민감도해석과 다양한 근사모델의 적용에 따른 설계공간의 근사화 특성에 관한 비교연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 효율적인 최적설계안 탐색과 높은 정확도의 근사모델을 생성할 수 있는 직교배열실험 기반의 설계 방법론을 제안하는 것이다. 설계인자는 주요 구조부재의 두께 치수를 적용하였고, 응답함수는 중량과 강도성능을 선정하였다. 직교배열실험을 이용하여 설계인자 별 응답함수에 대해 정량적인 영향도가 분석되었고, 최소중량설계를 실현할 수 있는 최상 설계조건이 탐색되었다. 직교배열실험 결과로부터 반응표면 모델, 크리깅 모델, 체비쇼프 직교 다항식 모델, 그리고 방사기저함수 신경망 모델과 같은 다양한 근사모델이 생성되었다. 근사모델의 결과를 통해 직교배열실험 결과의 타당성을 검증하였으며, 능동형 DSF의 설계공간에 대해 방사기저함수 신경망 모델이 가장 높은 정확도로 근사화할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

n-Alkyl amine 鹽酸鹽의 水溶液 中에서의 apparent 및 partial molal volumes에 관한 硏究 (A study on the apparent and partial molal volumes of n-Alkyl amine hydrochloride in water)

  • n-Alkylamine hydrochlorides $C_nH_{2n+1}NH_3CI$에서 n=0에서 n=4 까지 이르는 低分子量 同族體의 apparent molal volume {\phi}\nu$ 및 partial molal volume $V^{\circ}$을 30$^{\circ}C$水溶液에서 測定하엿다 아민산의 濃度는 0.01M에서 0.3M까지 , 密度測定은 浮力法(Float method)를 適用하여 少數點 以下 5位까지 取하였다. 實驗結果 同族體의 分子量이 一定量 $CH_2$식 增加함에 따라 $V^{\circ}$값이 規則的인 差로서 增加한다는 事實이 觀測되었다. 또한 濃度增加함에 따른 {\phi}\nu$ 變化는 共通的으로 直選的이고 limiting slope는 positive이며 比較的 理論値에 가까왔다. 共通anion인 鹽素이온 $CI^-$의 partial molal volume, $V^{\circ}$$CI^-$은 18.6ml $mole^{-1}$으로 他硏究者들의 date와 大體的으로 一致하였다. {\phi}{\nu}$ 값의 變化로 보아 이온의 hydrophobic effect와 change effect는 거의 競合狀態이나 charge effect 곧 electrostriction effect가 優勢를 보였다.

메타모델을 이용한 플로트오버 설치 작업용 능동형 갑판지지프레임의 근사설계최적화 (Approximate Design Optimization of Active Type Desk Support Frame for Float-over Installation Using Meta-model)

  • In this study, approximate design optimization using various meta-models was performed for the structural design of active type deck support frame. The active type deck support frame was newly developed to facilitate both transportation and installation of 20,000 ton class offshore plant topside. Structural analysis was carried out using the finite element method to evaluate the strength performance of the active type deck support frame in its initial design stage. In the structural analysis, the strength performances were evaluated for various design load conditions that were regulated in ship classification organization. The approximate optimum design problem based on meta-model was formulated such that thickness sizing variables of main structure members were determined by achieving the minimum weight of the active type deck support frame subject to the strength performance constraints. The meta-models used in the approximate design optimization were response surface method, Kriging model, and Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials. The results from approximate design optimization were compared to actual non-approximate design optimization. The Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials among the meta-models used in the approximate design optimization represented the most pertinent optimum design results for the structure design of the active type deck support frame.
