The Development of MILS Software based on RTX for Real-time Imitation of an Inertial Navigation System (관성항법장치의 실시간 모의를 위한 RTX기반의 MILS S/W 개발)

  • In this paper, we have introduced a Missile In the Loop Simulation(MILS) Software developed for the missile ground test, which is based on a commercial hard real-time operating system(OS) on Windows platform called as Real-Time eXtension(RTX). MILS software makes it possible to test overall system functions of a integrated missile on the ground in the flight conditions by real-time imitating its inertial data. By means of MILS, we have performed missiles ground tests, which result in successful real flight tests.

Computational Investigation of Similarity Law and Wind Tunnel Testing for Side Jet Influence on Supersonic Missile Aerodynamics (초음속 유도탄의 측추력기 작동시 풍동실험을 위한 CFD 해석 연구)

  • Computational study has been undertaken to investigate the aerodynamic influence of side jet on a supersonic missile and to find a similarity condition between the flight condition and the wind tunnel testing. Tasks were peformed to validate the existing Raytheon test body with side jet, to simulate the flow inside the supersonic wind tunnel, and to compare the flow fields between the missile in free flight and that in the wind tunnel. Then sub-scale model of body-tail configuration was analyzed to estimate the influence of the side jet on the missile components. It is found that the influence of side jet is not as significant on the tail region as on the body surface and a simple algebraic formula for aerodynamic coefficients accounting for the side jet as a point force may be cautiously utilized in setting up control logic.

  • This paper describes SCTE(System and Control unit Test Equipment) as an integrated test equipment for airborne SAR system and control unit. SCTE enhances reusability of test equipment by modular design for required functions and strengthens automatic testing and test convenience by providing functions such as script-based testing function and report generation function. Also, it includes a navigation data simulator which can simulate various flight conditions. In this paper, we details SCTE requirements, H/W and S/W design, implementation, and test results with control unit and SAR system.

  • 항공 교통량을 관리하는 항공관제 시스템의 핵심 구성요소인 비행자료처리시스템은 각종 비행 자료를 처리 및 배포하고, 항공기 위치 추정 및 궤도 모델링을 제공한다. 비행자료처리시스템에서 관리하는 비행 자료 중에서 SSR 코드는 우리나라 공역에 일정한 수로 한정되어 관리되고 있다. 따라서 중복을 회피하는 효율적인 SSR 코드 할당 및 회수 방안이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 효율적으로 SSR 코드를 관리하는 방안에 대해서 제안한다. 제안하는 관리 방안은 차세대 항공관제 시스템에도 적용 가능하며 급증하는 항공 교통량을 처리하는데 있어서 꼭 필요하다.

  • 본 논문은 항공관제 시스템을 구성하는 핵심 시스템인 비행자료처리시스템(FDP: Flight Data Processing System)에서 적용되고 있는 비행계획 포스팅 기법을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 자동 포스팅 메커니즘에 대해 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방식은 관제사의 항공기 관제중에 가장 빈번하고도 중요하게 활용되는 정보인 비행계획 포스팅 정보를 FDP에서 처리할 때 자동 포스팅 방식을 적용하여 관제사와 항공관제 시스템과의 연결을 최소화하고 이를 통해 효율적이고 집중적인 관제가 지속될 수 있도록 지원한다. 또한 FDP 시스템에서 포스팅을 관리하기 위한 프로세서를 분리하여 존재시킴으로서, 전자 스트립 뿐만 아니라 종이 스트립까지 지원하는 정책 설계가 가능하며 정책 수정시 반영이 용이하다는 장점이 존재한다.

  • 본 논문은 급증하는 항공 교통량을 처리하기 위해 국제민간항공기구(ICAO)를 중심으로 연구되고 있는 차세대 항공관제를 위한 시스템 중 비행자료처리시스템에서 효율적인 비행계획 상태 관리를 위한 방법론을 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 비행계획 상태 관리는 입력되는 새로운 전문 및 관제사의 입력과 시간 타이머에 의한 이벤트를 구분하는 처리 구조이며, 두 가지를 병렬 처리하는 방식을 이용해서 정확하고 빠른 비행계획 상태 관리를 제공한다. 이는 향후 많은 항공 교통량을 처리하기 위한 차세대 항공관제 시스템에 적용되는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.

  • 3D TOF MR Angiography is able to obtain thinner slice thickness, higher SNR, therefore higher spatial resolution than 2D TOF MR Angiography. Since it uses longer TR than 2D TOF MRA to allow stronger in-flow effect, the background tissue may not be fully saturated. Thus background tissue signal can be further suppressed by MTS(Magnetization Transfer Saturation). Flow-compensation was accomplished by GMN(Gradient Moment Nulling), and tracking saturation was used to suppress vein signal. The different flow signal at the entry of the slab and output of the slab can be compensated by TONE(Tilted Optimized Non-saturating Excitation) RF pulse.

  • This study investigated seasonal occurrence and daily flight activity using synthetic sex pherom mone and injury characteristics of 야et armyworm, Spodoptera exigua in Chonnam area of K Korea in 1990. Male adults were attracted to phermone trap from mid-June to late November w with the peaks at mid-late August, mid-late September and early-mid November in vinyl i house and also were attracted from mid October to late November in field. Primary peak of occurrence in vinyl house was 20 days sooner than field. It seems to have 6 generations a year in C Chonnam region based on the estimation of larval biomass. Daily male flight was active from m midnight to before sunrise with the peak at 4-6 A.M .. In injury characteristics at various host plants, damage was great in early growing stage at below 10 cm of plant height in Allium fistulsum. Chrysanthemum morifolium was damaged at mostly upper part of leaves reaching to m the extent up to 70%. In case of Gypsophila paniculata, plants injured at early growing stage do n not grow and flower normally.

  • An in-flight fragment separator, which aims to produce and study rare isotopes, consists of superferric quadrupole triplets and $30^{\circ}$ dipole magnets to focus and bend the beams for achromatic focusing and momentum dispersion, respectively. The separator is divided into pre and main stages, and we plan to use superconducting magnets employing high-Tc superconductor (HTS) coils in the pre-separator area, where radiation heating is high. The HTS coils will be cooled by cold He gas in 20-50 K, and in the other area, superferric magnets using low-temperature superconductor (LTS) will be used at 4 K. A few LTS coils were wound and successfully tested in a LHe dewar, and the design of cryostat has been optimized. Development of the HTS coils is ongoing in collaboration with a group at KERI. An HTS coil of racetrack shape was wound and tested in a $LN_2$ bath and in a dewar with cryocooler. No degradation on critical current due to coil winding was found.

  • SCRamjet is the key technology for hypersonic flight over mach number 6. It is characterized by very short residence time in combustor because its internal flow is supersonic. In this short time, the whole process of combustion must be done. Especially numerical study of combustor is important because air-fuel mixing rate influences the performance of combustor. Various methods of air-fuel mixing enhancement are proposed. Among these, cavity injection method is selected to study in this paper. The numerical study is conducted with the variation of the cavity length at the fixed height of unit and jet injection on the downstream of cavity.
