Flavor components focused on the methyl pyrazines(2,3-dimethyl pyrazine, 2,3,5-trimethyl pyrazine, tetramethyl pyrazine) of microwave-roasted cocoa beans were determined and compared with those of conventionally-roasted cocoa beans. Domestic microwave oven was modified to design the microwave roasting system. Temperature measurement technique using thermocouple probes was developed to determine the center temperature of cocoa beans during microwave roasting. Microwave roasting was carried out under two different conditions. Under the first condition, roasting time was fixed to 30 min, while roasting temperature was varied to $110^{\circ}C,\;120^{\circ}C,\;130^{\circ}C,\;140^{\circ}C,\;and\;150^{\circ}C$ Under the second condition, roasting temperature was fixed to $130^{\circ}C$, while roasting time was varied to 5 min, 10 min, 20 min, and 30 min. Conventional roasting was done at $120^{\circ}C$ for 15 min as a reference. Amount of methyl pyrazines and their ratios were influenced by microwave roasting temperature and roasting time. The most suitable methyl pyrazine ratio of cocoa beans was obtained at $140^{\circ}C$ for 30 min of microwave roasting.
Purpose : This study was done to confirm the reference point variation according to variation in applicator configuration in each fractioation of HDR ICR. Materials and Methods : We analyzed the treatment planning of HDRICR for 33 uterine cervical cancer patients treated in department of therapeutic radiology from January 1992 to February 1992. Analysis was done with respect to three view points-Interfractionation A point variation, interfractionation bladder and rectum dose ratio variation, interfractionation treatment volume variation. Interfractionation A point variation was defined as difference between maximum and minimum distance from fixed rectal point to A point in each patient. Interfractionation bladder and rectum dose ratio variation was defined as difference between maximum and minimum dose ratio of bladder or rectum to A point dose in each patient, Interfractionation treatment volume variation was defined as difference between miximum and minimum treatment volume which absorbed over the described dose-that is, 350 cGy or 400 cGy-in each patient. Results The mean of distance from rectum to A point was 4.44cm, and the mean of interfractionation distance variation was 1.14 cm in right side,1.09 cm in left side. The mean of bladder and rectum dose ratio was $63.8\%$ and $63.1\%$ and the mean of interfractionation variation was $14.9\%$ and $15.8\%$ respectively. With fixed planning administration of same planning to all fractionations as in first fractionation planning-mean of bladder and rectum dose ratio was $64.9\%$ and $72.3\%$.and the mean of interfraction variation was $28.1\%$ and $48.1\%$ reapectively. The mean of treatment volume was $84.15cm^3$ and the interfractionation variation was $21.47cm^2$. Conclusion : From these data, it was confirmed that there should be adapted planning for every fractionation ,and that confirmation device installed in ICR room would reduce the interfractionation variation due to more stable applicator configuration.
In this study, we extrapolate a nonlinear force-free field (NLFFF) from an observed photospheric magnetic field to understand the three-dimensional (3D) coronal magnetic field producing a huge solar flare. The purpose of this study is to develop a NLFFF extrapolation code based on the so-called MHD relaxation method and check how accurately our model reconstructs a coronal field. Furthermore, we apply it to the photospheric magnetic field obtained by Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) on board Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) to reconstruct a 3D magnetic structure. We first investigate factors in controlling the accuracy of our NLFFF code by using a semi-analytical solution obtained by Low & Lou (1990). To extend a work done by Inoue et al. (2014), we apply various boundary conditions at the side and top boundaries in order to make our solution close to a realistic solution. As a consequence, our solution has a good accuracy when three components of a reference field are all fixed at the boundaries. Furthermore, it is also found that our solution is well matched to the Low & Lou solution in the central area of a simulation domain when the three components of a potential field are fixed at side and top boundaries (this approach is close to a realistic solution). Finally, we present the 3D coronal magnetic field producing an X 1.5-class flare in the active region 11166 through the extrapolation from SDO/HMI.
PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the span length on the fit of zirconia framework fabricated using CAD/CAM system. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Abutments for single, 4-unit and 6-unit fixed partial prostheses were fabricated. Ten zirconia frameworks were fabricated for each group. The marginal and internal gap were presented by means of replica technique and measured by measuring microscope ($AXIO^{(R)}$, Carl Zeiss, Rochester, NY) and software (I-$solution^{(R)}$, IMT i-solution Inc., Vancouver, BC, Canada). The results were statistically analyzed by multivariate analysis test and Dunnett T3 test for post hoc test (${\alpha}$=.05). RESULTS. There were statistically significant differences at 2, 4, 7, 8 points (mesio-distal section) and b, d, e, f, g (labio-lingual section). In some marginal reference points of 6-unit group (P<.05), the marginal gap were larger than 120 ${\mu}m$. CONCLUSION. Span length of zirconia core may have an influence on marginal and internal fit. Within the limitation of this study, the increase of span length of zirconia framework of 6 or more-unit fixed partial denture may decrease the marginal and internal fit.
This paper describes experimental study on GM-type pulse tube refrigerator (PTR). In a PTR, the pulse tube is only filled with working gas and there exists secondary flow due to a large temperature difference between cold-end and warm-end. The stability of secondary flow is affected by orientation of cold-head and thus, the cooling performance is deteriorated by gas mixing due to secondary flow. In this study, a single stage GM-type pulse tube refrigerator is fabricated and tested. The cooing performance of the fabricated PTR is measured as varying cold-head orientation angle and the results are used as reference data. Then, we divided interior space of pulse tube into three segments, and fixed the various size of screen mesh at interface of each segment to suppress the performance degradation due to secondary flow. For various configuration of pulse tube, no-load test and heat load test are carried out with the fixed experimental condition of charging pressure, operating frequency and orifice valve turns. From experimental results, the fine screen mesh shows the effective suppression of performance degradation for the large orientation angle, but the use of screen mesh cause the loss of cooling capacity rather than the case of no insertion into pulse tube. It should be compromised whether the use of screen mesh in consideration of the installation limitation of a GM-type pulse tube refrigerator.
Multi-phase machines can be used in variable speed drives. Their applications include electric ship propulsion, 'more-electric aircraft' and traction applications, electric vehicles, and hybrid electric vehicles. Multi-phase machines enable independent control of a few numbers of machines that are connected in series in a particular manner with their supply being fed from a single voltage source inverter(VSI). The idea was first implemented for a five-phase series-connected two-motor drive system, but is now applicable to any number of phases more than or equal to five-phase. The number of series-connected machines is a function of the phase number of VSI. Theoretical and simulation studies have already been reported for number of multi-phase multi-motor drive configurations of series-connection type. Variable speed induction motor drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost and high reliability. To replace the sensor, information concerning the rotor speed is extracted from measured stator currents and voltages at motor terminals. Open-loop estimators or closed-loop observers are used for this purpose. They differ with respect to accuracy, robustness, and sensitivity against model parameter variations. This paper analyses operation of an MRAS estimator based sensorless control of a vector controlled series-connected two-motor five-phase drive system with current control in the stationary reference frame. Results, obtained with fixed-voltage, fixed-frequency supply, and hysteresis current control are presented for various operating conditions on the basis of simulation results. The purpose of this paper is to report the first ever simulation results on a sensorless control of a five-phase two-motor series-connected drive system. The operating principle is given followed by a description of the sensorless technique.

As the era of the 4th industrial revolution comes, there is a growing interest in the use of UAVs. While various technologies are being developed using drones, controlling flight of drones is the most basic. Hovering control is essential in order to enable autonomous flight, especially during flight control of drones. In this paper, we design drones based on ATmega2560, Sonar, Optical Flow, and acceleration / gyro 6 axis sensor for drones hovering control, and developed horizontal control, altitude control, position tracking and fixed algorithm based on PID control. In this research, in order to measure the objective result of the drone, keeping the altitude immediately after the drone takes off according to the time, measure the movement value until the position is fixed and stable hovering is maintained and compared analyzed. Experimental results show that the drones can stably hover within 4cm horizontal and 2cm vertical from 50cm above the reference coordinates.
Purpose: The aim of this review was to systematically analyze the available literature on the correlation between the gray values (GVs) of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and the Hounsfield units (HUs) of computed tomography (CT) for assessing bone mineral density. Materials and Methods: A literature search was carried out in PubMed, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar, Scopus, and LILACS for studies published through September 2021. In vitro, in vivo, and animal studies that analyzed the correlations GVs of CBCT and HUs of CT were included in this review. The review was prepared according to the PRISMA checklist for systematic reviews, and the risk of bias was assessed using the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies tool. A quantitative analysis was performed using a fixed-effects model. Results: The literature search identified a total of 5,955 studies, of which 14 studies were included for the qualitative analysis and 2 studies for the quantitative analysis. A positive correlation was observed between the GVs of CBCT and HUs of CT. Out of the 14 studies, 100% had low risks of bias for the domains of patient selection, index test, and reference standards, while 95% of studies had a low risk of bias for the domain of flow and timing. The fixed-effects meta-analysis performed for Pearson correlation coefficients between CBCT and CT showed a moderate positive correlation (r=0.669; 95% CI, 0.388 to 0.836; P<0.05). Conclusion: The available evidence showed a positive correlation between the GVs of CBCT and HUs of CT.
This study aimed to investigate the effect of physicochemical properties and mix ratios of iron ore (oxide feed): coke (reductant) on the carbothermic reductions of iron ore. Coke size was fixed at ≤63 ㎛ while iron ore size varied between 150-63 ㎛ and ≤63 ㎛ respectively. Mix ratios were changed from 100:0 (reference) to 80:20 and 60:40 while the temperature, heating rate and soaking duration in muffle furnace were fixed at 1100 ℃, 10 ℃/min and 1 hour. Particle size analyzer, XRF, CHNS and XRD analyses were used for determination of raw feed characteristics. The occurrence of phase transformations from various forms of iron oxides to iron during the carbothermal reductions were identified through XRD profiles and supported with weight loss (%). XRF analysis proved that iron ore is of high grade with 93.4% of Fe2O3 content. Other oxides present in minor amounts are 2% Al2O3 and 1.8% SiO2 with negligible amounts of other compounds such as MnO, K2O and CuO. Composite pellet with finer size iron particles (≤63 ㎛) and higher carbon content of 60:40 exhibited 45.13% weight lost compared to 32.30% and 3.88% respectively for 80:20 and 100:0 ratios. It is evident that reduction reactions can only occur with the presence of coke, the carbon supply. The small weight loss of 3.88% at 100:0 ratio occurs due to the removal of moisture and volatiles and oxidations of iron ore. Higher carbon supply at 60:40 leads into better heat and mass transfer and diffusivity during carbothermic reductions. Overall, finer particle size and higher carbon supply improves reactivity and gas-solid interactions resulting in increased reductions and phase transformations.
This study describes the accuracies of position fixes observed by the DGPS systems for the purpose of obtaining the utility basic data in the fishery and oceanography observation field. The circling sail experiments around a reterence point using the DGPS were made in water level point of National Fisheries University of Pusan and on the sea in Yongho day located on the southeast of that university. The main results are as follows ; 1) The number of the usable satellites in position fixing were all eighteen, SV 2, 3, 11-21, 23-26 and SV 28 etc. Each satellites could be observed for average seven hours a day, and position fixing was found to be always possible except about thirty minutes a day. 2) In the standard fixed position, the radius of 95% probability circle and the shifted distance between the position fixes by the DGPS and true position were respectively 5.7m, 0.9m. In the above case those of ordinary GPS was respectively 48.8, 54.2m. Therefore, the accuracy of the position fixes by DGPS was shown much higher the ordinary GPS. 3) At land, the shifted distance between the center of traces in the circling sail experiment of 15m ra-dius by DGPS and the reference position amounted to 5.5m and observed radius of circling traces was 17.5m. other than 15m. At sea, that distance the center of traces in circling experiment of 20m radius by the DGPS and the reference position amounted to 3.6m and observed radius of circling traces was 19.7m, other than 20m. Therefore, the utility of the circling experiment to obtain the accurate position fixes by the DGPS was found to be very high.
