When estimating the benefits from an investment project in the transportation sector, errors caused by many factors may exist. This study focuses on user equilibrium traffic assignment methods and stopping criteria. According to previous studies, when using a user equilibrium assignment model, the benefits of travel time savings can be effected by the relative gap value. As the stopping criteria decreases, the time needed for traffic assignment increases, so that lowering the criteria cannot be the best solution. Therefore, an effort is necessary to reduce this change rate and thus improve reliability. This paper considers three methods: reducing the links subject to benefit calculation, extracting sub-area O/D tables and networks, and applying the mean value of successive traffic assignment results. The results of the analysis show that the method using the mean value of five results is more proper than the other methods. Using the sub-area analysis method, if the study area is small the benefits of a project might be over- or under-estimated. This paper used a nationwide O/D table and network at peak time as a case study. The resulting patterns can differ according to basic data to be used in analysis. So further analysis using the data from metropolitan areas are needed.
The purpose of this research is to propose an effective traffic safety countermeasure to reduce both violations of road traffic acts and accident rates related to the driver's characteristics by measuring them using Q analysis method, a microscopic statistics analysis method. As a result, violators of the road traffic act could be divided into five driving characteristics and causers of traffic accident could be classified into six driving characteristics. By understanding these characteristics, We could establish a proper traffic safety countermeasure for each driving characteristic. The accomplishments of this research are as follows: The first, We could classify the decisive driving characteristics, which cause road traffic acts and traffic accidents, into internal and external causes. The relationship between each driver's characteristic and the occurrence of the road traffic act and traffic accident could be recognized more clearly. We could find the dangerous driver samples who have Accidents proneness. The second, As a result of analyzing the characteristics of these factors, We could sort out and suggest countermeasure for reducing violation of road traffic acts and traffic accidents as a priority countermeasure and complementary countermeasure. Finally, transportation companies most closely related to automobile accidents can judge new personnels on the basis of their driving characteristics before hiring, and also apply this principle to the traffic safety education vigorously.
This study analyzed technological competitiveness of five major countries by using patent information that is typical intellectual property. Technological activity, patent competitiveness, market securement and patent concentration were designed as evaluation items for the technological competitiveness analysis, and the number of patent applications, family patents and triad patent families, and the paten concentration index were reflected as evaluation factors to be scored. For technologies to be analyzed, it referred to the energy harvesting technologies selected as 500 future technologies in the future technologic white paper 2013 published by KISTI. They were classified into technologies using thermoelectric, piezoelectric and photovoltaic elements, which are main detailed technologies of the energy harvesting technology, to investigate and analyze patent information for each detailed technology to understand their technological competitiveness. As a result, the United States ranked top with 75 and 70 points in the technology using thermoelectric and piezoelectric elements respectively, and Japan ranked top with 90 points in the energy harvesting technology using photovoltaic elements. It was analyzed that Korea held the second rank in the field using piezoelectric and photovoltaic elements, and the fifth in the technology using thermoelectric elements.
To ensure the microbiological safety of food items prepared after cooking process, this study was aimed to identify the hazards related with cooked foods donated to foodbanks through quantitative microbial analysis. Five foodbanks located in Incheon and Gyeonggi area among government-dominant foodbanks were surveyed from February to June, 2007. Manager, recipient, donator, type and quantity of donated foot and facility and equipment were examined for the general characteristics of foodbank. The time and temperature of food md environment were measured at steps from after-production to before-distribution, and the microbial analysis was performed mainly with indicator organism and major pathogens. The amount of cooked foods donated to each foodbank was about 20 to 30 servings and consisted of 80% of total donated foods. Only three foodbanks had separate offices for foodbank operation and four institutions had at least one temperature-controlled vehicle. The flow of donated foods was gone through the steps; production, meal service and holding at donator, collection by foodbank, transport (or holding after transport) and distribution to recipients. It took about 3.8 to 6.5 hours at room temperature from after-production to before-distribution. Only aerobic plate counts (APC) and coliforms were found in microbial analysis. The APC after production were relatively high in $8.2{\times}10^5,\;7.4{\times}10^5,\;6.9{\times}10^5$ and $4.2{\times}10^5 CFU/g$ while $2.8{\times}10^6, \;9.4{\times}10^5,\;1.0{\times}10^6$ and $5.4{\times}10^5CFU/g$ before distribution in mixed Pimpinella brachycarpa, mixed chard mixed amaranth and mixed spinach, respectively. The levels of coliforms in mixed chard and mixed spinach were complied with the standards of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Management The level of APC in boiled pork was increased from $< 1.0{\times}10 CFU/g$ to $4.0{\times}10^2 CFU/g$. One of delivery vessels was shown $6.2{\times}10^3 CFU/100 cm^2$ in APC, which was over the standards for environment. One of serving tables also showed the high level of $1.2{\times}10^3 CFU/100 cm^2$ in APC and $6.6{\times}10^2 CFU/100 cm^2$ in coliforms. These results suggest the sanitary management of holding at donator and the time-temperature control are key factors to ensure the safety of cooked foods donated to foodbank.
The dimensions of affection structure from hand movements was developed for the purpose of understanding relationship between affective words and physical factors to apply it to computing environment. To analyze hand movements, three dimensions -direction, time, weight- were found through reconstructing sub-properties of Laban Movement Analysis. The direction dimension has five freedoms of movement (horizontal, vertical, sagittal, circular, shaking) while the time and weight dimensions both have two sub categories each, (sudden, sustained), (light, strong) respectively. By factorial design using the three dimensions, twenty movement were videotaped. Participants rated a list of fifty korean affective words on each twenty movements. The results were studied by nonlinear principal component analysis. The results suggested that time and weight dimensions are closely related with arousal level dimension of affection. Strong and sudden movements associated with highly aroused affection, while light and sustained movements associated with the opposite affection. The direction sub-dimensions were found to be associated with the kinds of affection. Linear movements like horizontal, vortical and sagittal direction were correlated to highly aroused negative affection. Circular movements were found to correlate closely by fun and delight on the graph, while shaking movements were correlated to anxiety and impatience. These results imply that the dimensions of affection structure and sub-properties of hand movements are closely connected with each other.
Statement of problem. The implant prosthesis has been utilized in various clinical cases thanks to its increase in scientific effective application. The relevant implant therapy should have the high success rate in osseointegration, and the implant prosthesis should last for a long period of time without failure. Resorption of the peri-implant alveolar bone is the most frequent and serious problem in implant prosthesis. Excessive concentration of stress from the occlusal force and biopressure around the implant has been known to be the main cause of the bone destruction. Therefore, to decide the location and angulation of the implant is one of the major considering factors for the stress around the implant fixture to be dispersed in the limit of bio-capacity of load support for the successful and long-lasting clinical result. Yet, the detailed mechanism of this phenomenon is not well understood. To some extent, this is related to the paucity of basic science research. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to perform the stress analysis of the implant prosthesis in the partially edentulous mandible according to the different nature locations and angulations using three dimensional finite element method. Material and methods, Three 3.75mm standard implants were placed in the area of first and second bicuspids, and first molar in the mandible Thereafter, implant prostheses were fabricated using UCLA abutments. Five experimental groups were designed as follows : 1) straight placement of three implants, 2) 5$^{\circ}$ buccal and lingual angulation of straightly aligned three implants, 3) 10$^{\circ}$ buccal and lingual angulation of straightly aligned three implants. 4) lingual offset placement of three implants, and 5) buccal offset placement of three implants. Average occlusal force with a variation of perpendicular and 30$^{\circ}$ angulation was applied on the buccal cusp of each implant prosthesis, followed by the measurement of alteration and amount of stress on each configurational implant part and peri-implant bio-structures. The results of this study are extracted from the comparison between the distribution of Von mises stress and the maximum Von mises stress using three dimensional finite element stress analysis for each experimental group. Conclusion. The conclusions were as follows : 1. Providing angulations of the fixture did not help in stress dispersion in the restoration of partially edentulous mandible. 2. It is beneficial to place the fixture in a straight vertical direction, since bio-pressure in the peri-implant bone increases when the fixture is implanted in an angle. 3. It is important to select an appropriate prosthodontic material that prevents fractures, since the bio-pressure is concentrated on the prosthodontic structures when the fixture is implanted in an angle. 4. Offset placement of the fixtures is effective in stress dispersion in the restoration of partially edentulous mandible.
This study, targeting the students of "K" university in Busan City area, was performed to draw the groups by food-related lifestyle types and to identify the correlation between each group's attributes of selecting places to eat out and obesity index. The purpose of the study was achieved by means of the PASW Statistic 18.0(Predictive Analytics Software) which conducted frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, non-hierarchical cluster analysis and ANOVA. It turned out that the male university students were 175.59 cm tall and weigh 69.53 kg on average. And the female university students showed their average height of 162.81 cm and weight of 53.42 kg. When examined by the body mass index(BMI), male students were composed of 1.7% of underweight, 64.6% of normal weight, 19.7% of overweight and 14.0% of obese. As for the female students, 22.9% were classified as underweight, 62.7% as normal weight, 8.5% as overweight and 5.9% as obese. The food-related lifestyle categories were divided into five factors; health seeking type, safety seeking type, mood seeking type, taste seeking type, and western food seeking type. The four attributes of selecting places to eat out included quality of food and service, price reasonableness, accessibility and atmosphere, and experience to have eaten. With regard to food-related lifestyle, the groups were named by cluster 1 [careless diet group], Cluster 2 [health oriented group], and cluster3 [careless healthcare group]. In terms of the correlation between the clusters by food-related lifestyle and their attributes of selecting places to eat out, Cluster 1 had a high mean value in experience to have eaten, Cluster 2 quality of food and service, Cluster 3 accessibility and atmosphere.
The object of this study was to develop an index of service quality of waterparks and verify the validity and reliability of the index. This study represents the waterparks user population in 2009, and 250 people were extracted by using the purposive sampling method. In other words, five locations have major waterparks were chosen and 50 people per each location were collected. Conference, panel survey, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were performed to verify the validity of the questionnaire while item analysis, interrater reliability and internal consistency reliability were conducted to probate the reliability. Through these methods and procedures, the results of this study like these; (i) Validity of this index was significantly high and the index include amenity/cleanness, safety, price, programs, facilities, accessibility and promotion. Among them, amenity/cleanness was the major factor for the validity value; (ii) Reliability of this index was also high. There are high correlations between questions and fields and questions and total score. And the Cronbach's $\alpha$ values of the internal consistency reliability was over 0.603 except in the case of promotion which was below 0.6. After all the analysis, the index of service quality proved to be very proper and reliable index. Therefore, the major factors of service quality have to be figured out and reflected to the management innovation to improve service quality of waterparks.
This study was conducted to contribute to career counseling and career guidance for universities students majoring in social welfare by examining how the career decision level and the career preparation behavior of the students are and the relationship between social work self-efficacy and the career decision level and the career preparation behavior of the respondents. For this study, the social work self-efficacy, the levels of career decision making and career preparation-related behavior of 502 students of social welfare in five universities were measured. The frequency analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were used for collected data analysis. The research findings are as follows. Firstly, the levels of career decision making and career preparation-related behavior were slightly lower than mid-point on 5 point scale respectively. Secondly, social work self-efficacy was not correlated to their career decision levels while social work self-efficacy positively affected to the career-related behavioral levels. In particular, the client support self-efficacy of the three sub-factors in social work efficacy had a negative influence on the levels of career preparation behavior. Consequently, social work self-efficacy of the participants intensively was correlated with their career preparation-related behavioral levels.
The purpose of this study was to classify the results of previous studies on the cognitive function improvement program of the elderly into the cognitive impairment group and the normal group to compare the effect sizes of the groups using meta - analysis.
