To investigate the relation between pore fluid conductivity and bulk resistivity of a rock sample it is assumed that electrolyte solution perfectly substitute the pore fluid that occupied the pore space within the sample in general. In this study, it is investigated that how much can the electrolyte solution substitute the pore fluid by repeating the same saturation process. Four kinds of NaCl solutions of 8, 160, 3200, 64000 ${\mu}S$/cm are used. The saturation process has repeated four times for each electrolyte in increasing conductivity order first then four times each in decreasing order. The more the saturation process repeated with the same electrolyte, the more electrolyte solution substitute the pore fluid. Geometric mean of bulk resistivity in increasing and decreasing orders with the same electrolyte solution is assumed to be mostly close to the bulk resistivity with perfect substitution. Bulk resistivity measurements for both increasing and decreasing order differs within 10% to the geometric mean when repeating the saturation process 4 times while maximum 40% difference is observed when single saturation process for each electrolyte solution with increasing order. The modified parallel resistant model can generally represent the relations between pore fluid resistivity and bulk resistivity in the experiment, but more experimental data with various rock samples with different porosity is needed to generalize the model.
Objective : Ten heavenly stems and twelve earthly branches are the important means to understand the orders of changes in heaven and earth. Method : We have so far looked into detailed explanations about twelve earthly branches in Seolmunhaeja, annotations in Seolmun of four major people, and commentaries in Jeongyeokwonui. Result & Conclusion : This can be also applied to the explanations of twelve early branches, as follows. In the $11^{th}$ month of the lunar calendar, the yang energy is finally born amid full of the ying energy. In the $12^{th}$ month, the yang energy prepares to break through the knots of the ying energy and gets ready to come out of the ground. In the first month, three kinds of the yang energy start to become vigorous and active. In the second month, the yang energy gains more force, sprouting various plants on the ground. In the third month, the yang energy arouse further, strengthening and growing plants. In the fourth month, all the yang energy is released, while the ying energy is still hiding. In the fifth month, one ying energy is born amid full of the yang energy, and there are interchanges between the yang energy and the ying energy. In the sixth month, the yang energy is still strong and vigorous, ripening the fruits in the fields. In the seventh month, the yang energy starts to hurt all creation. In the eighth month, the ying energy starts to flourish, and the yang energy starts to decline, diminishing all creation and, however, still ripening grains to be harvested. In the ninth month, one yang energy starts to hide from sight, not working its duty, while five kinds of the ying energy start to annihilate all creation. Finally, in the tenth month, the small yang energy hides to be rebirthed amid the flux and reflux of the ying-yang energy. The creative and unique interpretation of Jeongyeokwonui about twelve earthly branches is worth to be referred. It is definitely beyond the other existing explanations, as it incorporates trigrams and hexagrams from I Ching (Book of Changes) and the five primary substances.

The CNC machine tool field is showing a growing trend with the recent rapid development of manufacturing industries such as semiconductors, automobiles, medical devices, various inspection and test equipment, mechanical metal processing equipment, aircraft, shipbuilding and electronic equipment. However, small and medium-sized machining companies that use CNC machine tools are experiencing difficulties in increasingly intense competition. Especially, small companies which are receiving orders from 3rd or 4th venders are very difficult in business management. In recent years, company S experienced difficulty to make product quality and delivery time due to the ignorance of the processing method when manufacturing cooling plate jig made of SUS304 material used for cell phone liquid crystal glass processing. In order to solve these problems, we redesigned the process according to the size of our company and tried to manage all processes with quantified data. In the meantime, we have found that there is a need to improve the cutter process, which accounts for most of the machining process. Therefore, we have investigated the correlation between RPM and FEED of three cutters that have been used in the past. As a result, we found that it is the most urgent problem to solve the roughing process during the cutter operation which occupies more than 70% of the total machining. In order to shorten the machining time and improve the quality in machining of SUS304 cooling plate jig, we select the main factors such as price, tool life, maintenance cost, productivity, quality, RPM, and FEED and use AHP to find the most suitable milling cutter. We also tried to solve the problem of delivery, quality and production capacity which was a big problem of S company through experiment operation with selected cutter tool. As a result, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the most efficient of the three cutters currently available in the machining center has proven to be an M-cutter. Second, although one additional facility was required, it was possible to produce the existing facilities without additional investment by supplementing the lack of production capacity due to productivity improvement. Third, the Company's difficulties in delivery and capacity shortfalls have been resolved. Fourth, annual sales increased by KRW 109 million and profits increased by KRW 32 million annually. Fifth, it can confirm the usefulness of AHP method in corporate decision making and it can be utilized in various facility investment and process improvement in the future.
The objectives of this study were to assess the current practices of implementing selective menus and to identify the perception of foodservice manager and customer on selective menus for hospital foodservice would be fulfilled. Two types of questionnaires for hospital foodservice managers as well as customers were developed. Questionnaires were distributed to managers of 8 hospital foodservice department and 317 customers of patient meal service, and 6 managers and 139 customers were responded. The data were analyzed using frequency and t-test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. In hospital foodservice operations, the selective menu pattern was first introduced by L hospital on June 1994 in Seoul and recently 8 hospitals were currently implementing selective menus. But using rate of selective menus by patients were relatively low(23.2%), ranging from 15% to 32%. 2. Customers' needs for selective menus were rated significantly higher in the group of patients(4.24/5) who chose the selective menus than their counterpart(3.88/5). 3. The main reason not choosing selective menus was identified by patients as 'not knowing the implementation of selective menus'(52.6%), inconvenient factors in using selective menus for customer were also identified as orders : 'lack of nutrition information on menu item'(38.6%), 'complexity in procedure'(29.8%), and 'lack of menu variety'(26.3%). However managers considered 'managerial burden' and 'limited human resource' as main obstacle to implement the selective menu pattern. 4. Customers indicated 'variety of menu', 'active public relations' as effective methods to enhance using rate of selective menus, however, foodservice manager indicated 'variety of menu'(50%), 'improvement of quality'(16.7%), and 'simplicity in procedure'(16.7%). Based on the results of this study, following recommendations have been suggested : Managers in patient meal service should recognize customer needs for implementing selective menus and pay more attention in implementing selective menus and activating this program. For more effective implementation of activating selective menu program, the foodservice department should establish action plan on 'active publicity work', 'simplicity in procedures', 'variety of menu' and 'improvement of quality'. Especially nutrition informations on meals should be provided for customers in order to elevate participation rate.
The Blue-green algae collected from whole coasts of Korea were investigated morphotaxonomically in order to list up Korean marine Cyanophyta and clarify their taxnomic position. As a result, 36 species, 20 genus, 6 families belonging to 3 orders were identified. Among these, 14 species were recorded for the first time in Korea. They are Chroococcus minutus (K$\"{u}$tzing) N$\"{a}$geli, Merismopedia punctata Meyen, Microcystis ichtyoblabe K$\"{u}$zing, Dermocarpa leibleiniae (Reinsch) Born. et Thur., Hydrocoleum confluens (Setchell et Gardner) Drouet, Lyngbya sordida (Zanard.) Gomont, Phormidium forveolarum (Mont.) Gomont, Phormidium hansgieri Schmidle, Skujaella hildebrandtii (Gomont.) de Toni, Sphaeronema lithophila (Ercegovic) Umezaki, Spirulina tenerrima K$\"{u}$tzing, Hormothamnion enteromorphoides Grunow, Michrochaete aeruginea Batters, Michrochaete grisea Thuret ex Born. et flah.. Using the phase contrast microscope and the Nomarski interference micrope, we made photomicrographs of minute blue green algae. The cellular inclusions especially PHB(poly-$\SS$-hydroxy-butyrate) granules of the blue-green algae identified were investigated. The species clearly characteriged to have PHB granule were Lyngbya confervoides, L. semiplena, Phormidium corium, Sirocoleum kurzii, Hormothamnion enteromorphoides and Calothrix crustacea. These result would be fundamental data for estabilishing phylogenetic system of blue-green algae based on physio-biochemical characteristics in future.

In this paper, we analyze transmission characteristics of ultrashort laser pulses using the property of Raised-cosine pulse which are systematically obtained following Class-2 PRS model. The high-order pulses are easily derived front a modified PRS system model as Class-1 PRS model. This may be based on the fact that the spectra and bandwidths of the high-order pulses are beautifully related to their orders. And we make clear they are very useful to cover wider area and more accurate transmission characteristics of ultrashort pulses than Gaussian or Sech pulse approximations used conventionally. First modifying the generalized PRS system model, we propose a new model for deriving any type of high-order pulse. And we offer a novel analysis method of ultrashort pulse transmission which has any shape and FWHM, using the proposed model. In addition, by fixing the pulse range $\tau$=1(ps) and varying the order of the pulse from n=1 to n=100, we obtain spectra of ultrashort pulses with 1(ps)-100(fs) FWHM's, and width of FWHM in the Class-2 PRS model 50~100(fs) smaller than Class-1 PRS model. As a one-step further, we derive PSD's of their pulse trains when they are applied to Unipolar signaling scheme. These PSD's are derided in the range of possible pulse intervals. All of these results are not only coincided with some conventional experimental works but also will to applied to any pioneering ultrashort pulse in the future.
This paper proposes a Image retrieval system that searches the closest images to the user's emotional need and displays images with higher ratings of color harmony from Moon-Spencer's Color Harmony Theory first. Once an emotional adjective is placed, the system searches for images with colors that contain more elements derived from Aesthetic Measure results and displays in such order. In order to test reliability of the proposed emotion retrieval method based on Moon-Spencer's Color Harmony Theory, this study compared the order of Aesthetic Measure results with the user satisfaction ratings using 200 sample images. The analysis demonstrated that the participants' average satisfaction on 15 emotion adjectives selected for the study was 5.0 on a 7-point Likert scale. Correlation analyses were performed to test the consistency the orders between Aesthetic Measure values and user satisfaction ratings. Positive correlations above R=.5 were observed in all 14 emotion words except "Clear". These findings prove the potential of the proposed emotion retrieval system based on Moon-Spencer's Color Harmony Theory to effectively reflect user emotion in such visual stimulus search as image database.
The purpose of this study is to analyze logistics cost of transportation systems on EC(electronic commerce) between company and consumer. Transportation system in logistics is classified by three types on EC. The first type is the direct delivery from supply factory to consumers(type I). The second type is the delivery through distribution center in each area by owner logistics company (type II). The third type is the commission of delivery to the third party logistics company(type III). The logistics of EC has various service characteristics such as dealing with small quantity, various goods, and high frequency. This study assumes that all day's order is delivered on a next day. The logistics cost function is calculated according to the number of orders, delivery distance, transport quantify. and allocated freight trucks for daily order of the subject zone. The logistics cost changes according to the daily order characteristics. Therefore it is simulated to analyze the logistics cost change that considers the type of transportation's order characteristics. As a result of analysis, if the number of order is less than 10 and the quantify of each order is less than 10kg, type III has an advantage over the others And if the number of order is more than 10 and the quantity of each order is more than 10kg, type I has an advantage in the same zone and type II has an advantage in the other zones. This study is limited on the actual application because this study doesn't consider logistics infra of supply company and transport service time. If further study that considers these factors is implemented, it can estimate more accurate logistics cost on EC and propose an efficient freight transport alternatives to the company. This study attributes to estimate the logistics cost change over the frequency of daily order, the quantify of supply goods, and the transport distance on EC.

We investigated the abundance and composition of the zooplankton community around Dokdo in the East Sea from 2006 to 2015. Zooplankton samples were collected in the surface mixed layer by vertical hauls using a standard type net at the monitoring stations. There were no clear long-term trends in the average temperature and salinity, but relatively low salinity was recorded in the summer of 2013 and 2015. The average abundances of zooplankton in the summer increased by two orders of magnitude from $317inds./m^3$ in 2008 to $10,242inds./m^3$ in 2015. This long-term increase was accompanied by a slight increase in the chlorophyll-a concentration and a decrease in the catch of potential crucial predators (anchovy, mackerel pike, squid, herring and horse mackerel) in the study area. The dominant zooplankton, accounting for most of the long-term increase, consisted of appendicularian (Oikopleura spp.), which showed a steady increase since 2012, summer species such as Noctiluca scintillans and the cladoceran Penilia avirostris, which showed an abrupt increase, and the copepod Paracalanus parvus s.l., which showed a rapid increase after its first occurrence in summer 2010. These results suggest that the long-term increase of zooplankton could be related to the increase in the concentration of prey and the decrease in the predation pressure of potential predators around Dokdo in the study area.

Jeongeuihyanggyo(旌義鄕校) is a kind of traditional, Confucian cultural landscapes that is located in Jeju special self-governing province. Its historical background illustrates that the first erection was started at Goseong-li of Seongsan-eup(城山邑 古城里) at Taejong(太宗) of 16 years(1417) and it moved to the west gate of Hyunseong(縣城) at Heojong(憲宗) of 15 years,(1849) Joseon. The aim at this study is to reveal characters of these Confucian Spatial Composition and Order, which are valuable resources that can be created into the cultural contents. The results demonstrate the characters of the Confucian cultural landscape as followings; the changing process of new building and its relocation, the utilization of antique maps in location interpretation of Jeongeuihyanggyo, Confucian symbolic elements of it, the spatial compositions and layouts of its buildings, physical structures, main buildings and their characters, locational points of topographic profile, changes of axial line at Daeseongjeon(大成殿), the D/H ratio of its courts. This study can show that Jeongeuihyanggyo is a case for realizing the Confucian reformation to enhance Seongeup Hyun's education standard considering the locality of the site which is an isolated island like Jejudo(濟州島). The author can see that the example of Confucian space is applied to various layout techniques, both horizontally and vertically, in a limited space condition of being in the castle. Therefore, it is necessary to revive this point so that it can utilize unique Confucian cultural landscape possessed only by Jeongeuihyanggyo.
