  • The objective of this study is to get a fundamental data for the shape of a robot which operates in blood vessels. The overall analysis was calculated with a CFD code. The flow was idealized as a pulsatile flow, and first the robot was assumed as a simple capsule model. Then a drag of the body in the flow was calculated, and this process was repeated, varying the shape. To validate all the result, the pulastile velocity simulation was compared with the theoretical data, and the drag of a body was compared with the existing data of the other papers first. Then with the next calculation the guideline for the design of robot shape was presented.

  • Inclusion and exclusion is used in many papers to count certain objects exactly or asymptotically. Also it is used to derive the Bonferroni inequalities in probabilistic area [6]. Inclusion and exclusion on finitely many types of properties is first used in R. Meyer [7] in probability form and first used in the paper of McKay, Palmer, Read and Robinson [8] as a form of counting version of inclusion and exclusion on two types of properties. In this paper, we provide a proof for inclusion and exclusion on finitely many types of properties in counting version. As an example, the asymptotic number of general cubic graphs via inclusion and exclusion formula is given for this generalization.

  • In 1989, Kocher et al. introduced Differential Power Attack on block ciphers. This attack allows to extract secret key used in cryptographic computations even if these are executed inside tamper-resistant devices such as smart card. Since 1989, many papers were published to improve resistance of DPA. At FSE 2003 and 2004, Akkar and Goubin presented several masking methods to protect iterated block ciphers such as DES against Differential Power Attack. The idea is to randomize the first few and last few rounds(3 $\sim$ 4 round) of the cipher with independent random masks at each round and thereby disabling power attacks on subsequent inner rounds. This paper show how to combine truncated differential cryptanalysis applied to the first few rounds of the cipher with power attacks to extract the secret key from intermediate unmasked values.

  • In this study, the RDA DMP Common Standard (RDCS), a data model for implementing a machine actionable Data Management Plan (maDMP), was analyzed in four aspects. First, the twelve class models proposed by RDCS were analyzed. Second, whether the DMP attribute was included in the class attribute was analyzed. Third, we analyzed the namespace used for RDCS properties. Fourth, the values and identifiers used in RDCS properties were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, four directions for improvement were derived. First, it is necessary to add an academic record class to describe information such as papers and reports, which are representative academic documents. Second, the primary research institution, responsibility, resources, option attribute, and additional attributes are needed to describe the researcher's affiliation information. Third, it is necessary to additionally use a namespace such as Friend of a Friend that can be used universally. Fourth, the use of digital object identifier should be considered to identify academic literature.

  • This study aimed to understand the increasing number of elder abuses in South Korea, where entry into the super-aged society is imminent, by implementing text mining analysis. Korean Academic journals were obtained from 2004, the establishment year of the senior care agency, to 2021. We performed natural language processing of the titles, keywords, and abstracts and divided them into three segments of periods to identify latent meanings in the data. The results illustrated that the first section included 81 papers, the second 64, and the third 104 respectively, averaging 13.8 annually, which increased its numbers from 2014 until the decrease below the annual average in 2020. Word frequency demonstrated that the common keywords of the entire segments were 'elder abuse,' 'elders,' 'influences,' 'factors,' 'recognition,' 'family,' 'society,' 'prevention plans,' 'experiences,' 'abused elders,' 'abuse prevention,' 'depression,' etc., in consecutive order. TF-IDF indicated that 'influences,' 'recognition,' 'society,' 'prevention plans,' 'abuse prevention,' 'experiences,' 'depression,' etc., were the common keywords of all divisions. Network text analysis displayed that the commonly represented keywords were 'elder abuse,' 'elders,' 'influences,' 'factors,' 'characteristics,' 'recognition,' 'family,' 'prevention plans,' 'society,' 'abuse prevention,' and 'experiences' in the entire sections. concor analysis presented that the first segment consisted of 5 groups, the second 7, and the third 6. We suggest future directions for elder abuse research based on the results.

  • Turfgrass provides various beneficial effects to our societies such as recreation, aesthetic components, and other public service. Diseases in turfgrass is the major issue, which cause quality problems in golf courses, playgrounds, parks and cultivation areas, and tremendous cost is required to prevent the diseases. Research activity and investigation for turfgrass disease remain to be further attributed when compared to other crops in Korea. In this study, we present previously reported turfgrass diseases researches, especially caused by fungal pathogens, and review the history of turfgrass research activity in Korea to contribute future turfgrass research direction. Research papers were searched and analyzed using Korea Educational and Research Information Service (www.riss.kr). More than eighty papers presented turfgrass diseases and among the papers, 50% were published in Korean Journal of Turfgrass. Half of the papers reported turfgrass diseases control. Research articles about large patch disease were the majority (36%), followed dollar spot (18%), Pythium blight (10%) and Typhular blight (8%). Number of the first disease reports in Korea were total fifteen. Total 542 fungicides have been registered in Korea to prevent turfgrass diseases and most of the fungicides were for brown patch, rust, yellow patch, dollar spot, snow mold, summer patch, anthracnose, Pythium blight, powdery mildew and algae. And we will also need to conduct ecological studies on turf diseases and to develop control methods with improved efficacy and environmentally-friend sound. Researches on epidemiology of turfgrass diseases which deals with the incidence, distribution, and interactions with other factors will be also greatly favored for precise control prescription, timing of control and use of less pesticides.
