The signal processing algorithm of the Missile Flight Test Launch Control System (비행시험 발사통제 시스템의 신호처리 알고리즘)

  • The Missile Flight Test Launch Control System is to operate in conjunction with the Fire Control System during flight test to guided weapons. Also, this is a system for the test control and situation monitoring depending on the type of guided weapons and testing purposes. Message structure, communication protocols, such as data types for interworking with the fire control system and the Missile Flight Test Launch Control System are defined in the Launch Control ICD(Interface Control Document). ICD are composed differently of each guided weapons system and each test object. Previously, in order to interwork with the Fire Control System, the interlocking software was developed, which had a variety of problems. Therefore, we developed a new parsing algorithm in order to recognize the variety of Launch Control ICD and verified that the algorithm operates normally by checking transmitting and receiving various message in conjunction with the fire control system.

  • In naval gun firing, firing accuracy comes from the combination of each component's accuracy in CFCS (Command and Fire Control System) like tracking sensors and gun. Generally, battery alignment is done to correct the error between gun and tracking sensor by using boresight telescope on harbor and sea. But normally, the battery alignment can compensate only the static alignment error and ignore dynamic alignment error which is caused by own ship movement. There was no research on this dynamic alignment error until now. We propose a new way to analyze dynamic arrangement error by using image of boresight telescope. In case of the dynamic alignment error was due to time delay of own ship attitude information, we propose the way to compensate it.

  • This research examines problem that can happen in partial smoke control method among contiguity area smoke control system through engineering examination and CFD. And the ultimate purpose of this is to secure safety of a person inhabiting at fire department by presenting improvement plan. Now a days, in large space-area such as department store or mega-mall in which mainly applies "Partial Smoke Control Method", air is suppled from adjacent area and smoke is exhausted in fire room. For various reason, however, it is confirmed through simulation that if air is suppled in one direction, this can cause a fatal result to people of fire area because of the difficulty in securing the evacuation time. As an improvement plan, air is supplied at the same time in surroundings to fire department.

  • The risk of underground space become an important issue of life safety thought the Taeku subway line Accident. It is essential to study of smoke control screen to minimize the damage of human life because of smoke passage and passenger evacuation routes are on the same vertical and dispersion movement. The Fire modeling result shows the effect of fire control screen can save the evacuation time about 2-2.5 times compare to existing the system However, The designs of fire control screen need to be complied with smoke control ventilation system to present optimum design and the position of installation.

  • This study compared the performance of a smoke control system in the case of a fire with that in the case of non-fire. Single-pressurization in the vestibule, single-pressurization in the stairwell, simultaneous smoke control of the stairwell and vestibule, which was the pressurization of smoke control, were assessed. The result showed that simultaneous smoke control of the stairwell and vestibule can maintain the differential pressure and is least influenced for the evacuation of evacuees. In addition, for the status of smoke control in Korea and the proper pressurization method, these results highlight the necessity of improving the current pressurization method through the survey.

  • Recently heavy traffic is getting worse because increasing population of transportation in urban area. In order to solve this problem. subway is realized with high speed, high density, highly efficiency. When fire accident happened in Dae-Gu subway in February 2003, there happened loss of people and lots of damage because of not being able to control even though fire alarm which was set up in the station rang. This thesis has constructed a simulation integrating operation system using a Database construction, operating program analysis in order to build up the most efficient train operation system. The result of simulation integrating operation system with emergency virtual situation like station and train fire, train failure, power line failure, all trains running on the rail were secured safety by train operation control system. With integrating operation of each train control system, train system, power system, machine facility system, the most efficient integrating operation system should have been constructed at the time the subway fire and power failure broke out.

  • The conventional fire detection devices are operated after a processed fire phase, which are sensing only a high density of somke level or high temperature heat. They are not so precision to detect a fire in the early phase to protect the facility form the fire. We need to develope a new high precision smoke detection system to keep expensive industrial facilities most reliably form fire. A new optical precision smoke detection system was developed. It monitors very low level density of smoke particles in the air. It is operated continously through many years without a stop or any malfunction. The developed precision smoke detection system will be installed in important industrial facilities, such as power plants, underground common tunnel, main control rooms, computer rooms etc.

  • This study is intended to evaluate the characteristics of smoke spreading and the appropriateness of evacuation time extended by operation of smoke control system during fire within the underground space of the building structured in compliance with the smoke control system performance criteria from the local fire safety standard in Korea. As a preceding review of this study, the combustibles was categorized and identified their heat release rates. For validate the estimated values, modeling a single underground shop was carried out. And a numerical analysis both in case of smoke control system in operation and the system not in operation was carried out of underground space. From the viewpoint of securing the evacuation time, the results were compared in an attempt to assess the appropriateness of the fire safety criteria.

  • A purpose of this study is to enhance the concern and cognition of people and to search for the effective approach on the control of crime arson which is increasing recently. To accomplish this purpose, it is important to organize three other factors, such as enforcement and strengthening of residents self defense system about fire, establishment of more complicated arson control system of the public agency, and strengthening the correction activity of arson psychologically. It is necessary to construct the cooperation system between community police and fire police and to enforce the friendship between residents and public agency.

  • In this paper forest fire statistical information management system is constructed on web environment using web based GIS(Geographic Information System) technology. Though this system, general users can easily access forest fire statistical information and obtain them in visual method such as maps, graphs, and text if they have web browsers. Moreover, officials related to forest fire can easily control and manage all information in domestic by accessing input interface, retrieval interface, and out interface. In order to implement this system, IIS 5.0 of Microsoft is used as web server and Oracle 8i and ASP(Active Server Page) are used for database construction and dynamic web page operation, respectively. Also, Arc IMS of ESRI is used to serve map data using Java and HTML as system development language. Through this system, general users can obtain the whole information related to forest fire visually in real time also recognize forest fire prevention. In addition, Forest officials can manage the domestic forest resource and control forest fire dangerous area efficiently and scientifically by analyzing and retrieving huge forest data through this system. So, they can save their manpower, time and cost to collect and manage data.
