The popularization of smartphones allows people to instantly get the information that they want, through mobile apps, including financial services, movies and public transportation reservations, games and shopping. Furthermore, leisure activities through overseas travel are increasing due to the improvement of the living standards of people. These increases in overseas travel and the use of mobile apps lead to the increased use of mobile travel apps when booking tour packages. Although there are many studies on the usability assessment and user interface improvement for mobile apps, studies on the usability assessment for mobile travel apps are limited. We tested the usability for mobile travel apps to present some suggestions for improvements so that anyone can purchase travel packages easily and simply. We selected the top three mobile travel apps on Rankey.com that have different UIs. The heuristic method was used to evaluate usability. We present a better UI to allow users to use the app functions more easily by analyzing user interaction, ease of learning, readability, efficiency, and satisfaction for the entire use.

This paper studied what kind of effects were made through Open Sky agreement on Korea-China air transport market. To analyze the effects on air transport markets brought by liberalization, this paper studied transport volume, number of airlines, passenger and cargo and routes from 2000 to 2012 Korea-China aviation statistics. Liberalization of shandong and Hainan Provinces agreed in 2006 caused significant differences in frequencies, transport volume, and the number of routes for both passenger and cargo services between 2007 and 2008, as well as statistically significant effects. The analysis on the effect of Korea-China Open skies Agreement between 2000 and 2012 was no difference because the global financial crisis in September 2008.

This study tries to examine the competitive strategy of service quality in Korean financial market. the purpose of this study is to find out the strategic implication of Korean commercial banks throughout the service level of experienced customers and the services positioning map. This study purposes to identify the current problems of academic library automation and analyze causes for the problems. The problems on library automation include : absence of systematic and long-term planning, inconsistent policy, lack of competent and qualified manpower, hardware and software constraints, effects of library network financial limitations to system developers, lack of co-operation among libraries, insufficient user services. In order to improve these matters, suggest several recommendations. This paper gives basis to approach the library automation systematically.

This study is focused on instant messaging service (IMS) providers' efforts to maintain a steadfast group of consumers who are willing to continuously use one service without switching to another. Various factors, carefully selected to reflect the unique features of instant messaging, were tested to verify their relationship with consumer loyalty. The results suggest that consumer loyalty of IMS users is most significantly affected by trust and perceived reputation a consumer has on the provider of IMS. Network externality, or the size and proximity of relationships formed through an IMS, also proves to have effect on consumer loyalty. Consumer loyalty in IMS users of different age or different internet usage is affected differently by each factor.

The customer churn and the forecast of customer churn have been important research topics for a long time in the academic domain of customer relationship management. The customer value is studied to construct a gap model based on dual customer values; a basic description of customer value is given, then the gaps between products and services in different periods for the customers and companies are analyzed. The main factors that influence the perceived customer value are analyzed to define the "recognized value gap" and a gap model for the dual customer value is constructed. Based on the dual customer gap a con-ceptual model to determine potential churn customers is proposed in the paper.

This paper considers a six sigma project for reducing the project costs through project risk management. The project follows a disciplined process of five phases: define, measure, analyze, improve, and control. A risk management process map is used to identify process input and output variables. Seven key process input variables are selected by using C&E diagram and X-Y matrix and finally four vital few input variables are selected by the related statistical analysis. The optimum alternatives of the vital few input variables are obtained by the method of PUGH matrix. The process is running on control plan and we obtained substantial project cost reductions in early stage of the control phase.

Elderly people living in poverty are one of the most vulnerable population groups who are at risk of experiencing social exclusion. Social participation is an important contributing factor to active aging and social integration of the older adults living in poverty. This study aims to identify factors affecting social participation of the poor elderly. Data from the second wave of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing was used for the analyses and 1,346 poor elderly aged over 65 were analyzed. The findings showed that age, education, health status, a level of depression, financial stress, and economic activity were associated with the social participation of the elderly living in poverty. These results indicated that psychological empowerment and specific needs of the older adults living in poverty should be considered in developing services and programs to promote social participation of the poor elderly.

The purpose of this study is to survey the development trends of school libraries in the western world namely U. S. A., Canada by analyzing such items as education and environment, staff, policy, standard and professional organization, and to find out how and why they were able to maintain efficient library services. The major findings are summarized as follows : (1) There are school district supervisor whose functions are to direct and supervise the school libraries in the district. (2) The school district supervisor, school administrator, Teacher and Teacher librarian all recognize the importance of its educational role and cooperate together for the development. (3) They gether statistical data on school library for continuous revision of statement, guideline and standard. (4) Not only the educational organization and the library organization but also the private foundation conduct systematic research and extend financial aid for the development of school library. (5) The Compulsory Codes and pertinent laws have been enacted to promote school library development.

The purpose of this study was to compare the job loss and job seeking experiences between middle-aged men and their younger cohort. Participants included 11 middle-aged unemployed men and nine younger unemployed men. The study adopted a phenomenological approach. In-depth individual interviews were carried out and the theme analysis was used to analyze the interview data. The results showed that the two cohorts experienced the macroeconomic crises, the foreign exchange crisis in 1997 and the global financial crisis in 2008, differently. Their experiences affected their attribution of the unemployment and job seeking process. They expressed ambivalence toward their family while dealing with social isolation from extrafamilial support. Most of the participants criticized government employment support policies and services.
