Disaster Reduction Plan through Forklift Accident Case Analysis (지게차 재해사례 분석을 통한 재해감소방안)

  • Purpose: In order to reduce industrial accidents caused by forklift trucks, it is actually necessary to analyze the causes of accidents. This study aims to present disaster prevention measures by analyzing accident cases by forklift accident type. Method: For the analysis of industrial accidents, including serious industrial accidents caused by forklifts from 2021 to 2022, accident statistics from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency were used to analyze accidents in four types. Result: In the last two years, the total number of victims, including deaths and other serious injuries, was 2,559, which was 1,396 in 2021 and 1,163 in 2022. Disaster prevention measures were presented for industrial accidents by size and occurrence type of equipment that cause serious industrial accidents in which more than 1,000 people are injured annually. Conclusion: It is necessary to expand the number of workers subject to the forklift financial support project to less than 100. It is necessary to amend the proviso on boarding restrictions in Article 86, Paragraph 7 of the 「Regulations on Industrial Safety and Health Standards」. It is mandatory to install front and rear cameras. It is necessary to install driving-linked safety belts. It is necessary to install line beams obligatory. It is necessary to expand the subject of forklift special safety and health education to workplaces that have more than one forklift truck, and it is necessary to redesignate the training hours to 16 hours every year.

Employee's Business Outlook Disclosed Through Social Media And Employment Growth : The Case of Jobplanet (소셜미디어를 통한 직원의 기업전망 평가와 고용증가와의 상관성 : 잡플래닛 기업전망을 대상으로)

  • The recent expansion of the use of social media has served as an opportunity to express users' opinions in real time in various fields such as society, economy, politics, and culture, and brought many platforms that provide various information about companies. Among them, Glassdoor.com which started 2008 in US provides users with evaluations of the current and the former employees of their companies and also provides a outlooks for the company's growth Such a platform has the utility of providing necessary information to whom want to find a job or change jobs. In addition to this, variable studies have shown that the company information provided through these platforms is useful for investors as well. In this study, it was tested whether the corporate growth prospects of employees provided by Jobplanet, a platform with a typical function similar to Glassdoor.com in Korea, have predictive power to predict actual corporate growth. The forecast provided by Jobplanet and the company's financial indicator data received from FnGuide were collected and composed of panel data and analyzed using fixed effect model regression analysis. As a result, it was found that companies with positive prospects had higher employment growth than companies with negative prospects. When the outlook was neutral, the employment growth rate was higher than that of companies with a negative outlook.

An Empirical Study on the Cryptocurrency Investment Methodology Combining Deep Learning and Short-term Trading Strategies (딥러닝과 단기매매전략을 결합한 암호화폐 투자 방법론 실증 연구)

  • As the cryptocurrency market continues to grow, it has developed into a new financial market. The need for investment strategy research on the cryptocurrency market is also emerging. This study aims to conduct an empirical analysis on an investment methodology of cryptocurrency that combines short-term trading strategy and deep learning. Daily price data of the Ethereum was collected through the API of Upbit, the Korean cryptocurrency exchange. The investment performance of the experimental model was analyzed by finding the optimal parameters based on past data. The experimental model is a volatility breakout strategy(VBS), a Long Short Term Memory(LSTM) model, moving average cross strategy and a combined model. VBS is a short-term trading strategy that buys when volatility rises significantly on a daily basis and sells at the closing price of the day. LSTM is suitable for time series data among deep learning models, and the predicted closing price obtained through the prediction model was applied to the simple trading rule. The moving average cross strategy determines whether to buy or sell when the moving average crosses. The combined model is a trading rule made by using derived variables of the VBS and LSTM model using AND/OR for the buy conditions. The result shows that combined model is better investment performance than the single model. This study has academic significance in that it goes beyond simple deep learning-based cryptocurrency price prediction and improves investment performance by combining deep learning and short-term trading strategies, and has practical significance in that it shows the applicability in actual investment.

A Comparative Study on Discrimination Issues in Large Language Models (거대언어모델의 차별문제 비교 연구)

  • Recently, the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT has been increasing in various fields such as interactive commerce and mobile financial services. However, LMMs, which are mainly created by learning existing documents, can also learn various human biases inherent in documents. Nevertheless, there have been few comparative studies on the aspects of bias and discrimination in LLMs. The purpose of this study is to examine the existence and extent of nine types of discrimination (Age, Disability status, Gender identity, Nationality, Physical appearance, Race ethnicity, Religion, Socio-economic status, Sexual orientation) in LLMs and suggest ways to improve them. For this purpose, we utilized BBQ (Bias Benchmark for QA), a tool for identifying discrimination, to compare three large-scale language models including ChatGPT, GPT-3, and Bing Chat. As a result of the evaluation, a large number of discriminatory responses were observed in the mega-language models, and the patterns differed depending on the mega-language model. In particular, problems were exposed in elder discrimination and disability discrimination, which are not traditional AI ethics issues such as sexism, racism, and economic inequality, and a new perspective on AI ethics was found. Based on the results of the comparison, this paper describes how to improve and develop large-scale language models in the future.

Asymmetric Timeliness of Market Information According to Corporate Losses and Earnings (기업의 손실과 이익에 따른 시장정보의 비대칭적 적시성)

  • This study investigates the sensitivity reflected in the accounting earnings differs according to the difference in the characteristics of accounting information such as profit and loss for the same market information. For this, market information and accounting data were analyzed for 11,462 non-financial listed companies listed on the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets from 2012 to 2020 by using Basu's measurement of conditional conservatism and Ball and Shivakumar's measurement of conservatism. Accounting earnings sensitivity was analyzed according to the combination of information. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that both earnings and losses corporates recognize losses with delay, while losses are recognized quickly by loss corporates and delayed recognition by earnings companies. It was confirmed that more strict conservatism was applied to the losses corporates compared to the earnings corporates by delaying the recognition of earnings while the early recognition of the losses. It provides empirical data on the causality between the asymmetric timeliness and the combined effect of market information and accounting information by verifying that the losses corporates responds sensitively to market information while the earnings corporates does not react sensitively to the market information.

  • Smart City Technology, which is significant in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, greatly increases the efficiency and productivity of cities nowadays. The purpose of this study is to present a strategic approach for industrial revitalization and overseas export by analyzing the current status of smart city-related companies and discovering high-priority smart city technologies. To this end, the smart city theory and ASEAN smart city were reviewed through prior research, and a survey of companies with domestic smart city technology was conducted. As a result of the survey, it is revealed that companies with smart city technology in Korea are highly willing to export to ASEAN countries. There is a strong desire to export the following technologies: construction, traffic, green·energy, etc. And there was a high willingness to export the following services: IoT, platform, AI, etc. The following solutions have been proposed as solutions to Strategic Plans to Promote the Export: 1) Deregulation and incentives, 2) Global human resource development, 3) Information provision and strengthening of local networks, 4) Financial and public relations support.

An Empirical Study on the Effects of Entrepreneurship on Entrepreneurial Intention: Focusing on Moderating Effects of Fear of Entrepreneurial Failure (기업가정신이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 창업실패두려움의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study empirically analyzed how the elements of entrepreneurship and the fear of entrepreneurial failure influence entrepreneurial intention with each other in a situation that encourages startups. In particular, the moderating effect of fear of entrepreneurial failure was verified by dividing the fear of entrepreneurial failure into three sub-variables: fear of financial loss, fear of psychological loss, and fear of career loss. As a result, it was found that proactiveness and risk-taking had a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention, but innovativeness did not. Fear of entrepreneurial failure(all of sub-variables) was found to have no significantly moderating effect on the relationship between entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention. Therefore it seemed to have a negative effect as a independent variable. However, considering the regression coefficient(β) is positive or negative depending on the interaction terms of the sub-variables of fear of entrepreneurial failure and the entrepreneurship, it could be inferred that the moderating effect could be positive or negative. Based on this research results, a sophisticated entrepreneurship education program to inspire entrepreneurship and lower the fear of failure is needed in order to promote startups. And at the same time, a social safety net construction plan to reduce the fear of entrepreneurial failure needs to be prepared.

  • The number of people with disabilities is increasing recently in Korea, in particular the proportion of children with disabilities is approximately above 5%. While there are many studies focusing on satisfaction of payment policy due to increased concern about children with disabilities, the studies on comparison and the effect factor of user satisfaction depending on the cash and voucher are not sufficient. Based on the need to recognize and research this issue, the ultimate goal of this study is to lead to implications for the payment policy by investigating user satisfaction depending on the type of payment of policy on children with disabilities. The result that analyzes the effect of general characteristics on user satisfaction shows that in case of in-cash, children and the degree of disability affect user satisfaction. In the case of voucher, the gender of parents, the degree of disability and the average income affect it. The implication of this study suggests practical implication and policy implication. Implications of the study is that provide a customized service considering general characteristics. Second, It needs to extend the range of amount of payment of in-cash. Third, extend and pay the amount of in-cash, and the service of voucher. Fourth, provide low-income group(including public aid recipients and near poverty group) with voucher to ease financial burden.

  • The importance of the national reseach and development project has been increased since the global financial crisis for overcoming the world economic recession and responding the threatens of the global competitiveness. As the budgets are increased and the size of the tasks is enormous, the government often requests high-level audits and data for the transparent management of research expenses. As a result, the researchers who have to concentrate on the original research work spend much time in administrative processing, government audit, and responding to the demand data than the time to concentrate on the research work. It is absolutely necessary to have a system that can integrally manage R & D projects from a company-wide point of view in order for researchers to work efficiently and concentrate on the original research. Korean government has increased the investment for the national R&D, and therefore the size of R&D projects has become more larger. Therefore, this study attempts to present a standardized management process and system establishment direction for the efficient management of research and development project and to study the success factor of system establishment for the successful execution of project and the project management plan by the case study.

  • This study identified the relationship between stress and burnout that affects turnover intention of daycare center operators in the process of childcare and operation, and analyzed the role of burnout in the correlation between stress and turnover factors in Child Care Center Directors. The research results are as follows. First, the higher the stress of the Child care center director, the higher the burnout. In particular, among the stresses, the director confirmed that the higher the stress on faculty management and administrative and financial management, the higher the burnout. Second, the higher the burnout of the director of the Child care center, the higher the turnover intention. Third, it was confirmed that the higher the stress of the Child care center director, the higher the turnover intention. Fourth, as a result of verifying the mediating effect presented in this study, it can be said that burnout has a mediating effect in the correlation between stress and turnover intention, and since the direct effect of stress on turnover intention is not significant, this mediating effect is completely mediating. can be said. In conclusion, it was confirmed that preventing job burnout is the most important issue for managing stress, which is the most important factor for turnover of Child care center Directors. Therefore, it can be said that stress and burnout have a significant correlation among job factors of childcare center directors.
