The fisheries cooperative (FC) performs the economic and nonprofitable activity to get the fundamental objective of enhancing cooperative members' economic and social position. The internal control system fitted for a local FC should be required for not only solving the resulting problem from the complexity of FC environment nowaday but also delegating authorities and performance from FC Federation to a local FC by implementing the local autonomy. The methodology of this study is to empirically test and to analyze the condition of FC internal control system (FCICS) by the questionnaire survey. The actual condition of FCICS in Korea is analyzed by the questionnaire and the detailed contents are as follows : (1) sending 208 questionnaire consisting of 162 questions, and receiving 92 replies from 39 manufactures (business firms) and 15 banks in Gyungnam and Pusan area and 25 FC and 13 agricultural cooperative (AC) in Korea, (2) the analyzed results of FC and AC are treated simultaneously. In the fundamentals of above analyzed results, the evaluation model of FCICS is tried to construct from the relationship between the financial condition of FC and the internal control elements through the stepwise regression method. (1) By the stepwise regression method, the number of FC officials $(X_1)$, the experimental number of regular auditing $(X_7)$, and auditing duty years $(X_8)$ are finally accepted as independent variables, (2) and the final model becomes $Y=-1.53526+0.34455X_1+0.24513X_7+0.16585X_8$/ and this model explains to the extent of 47.826%. From the above study, following proposals are to be suggested: (1) The function and problem of internal control in FCICS is able to be improved by enforcing the function of FCICS and enriching the management's recognition of FCICS (2) The cooperative president can bring up good FC by the rational operation of FCICS according to the size and the performance pattern of FC, adding up to enhance members' economic and social position.

This study is to provide the measures of the reduction which can improve the business efficiency of the office workers of construction company through the analysis of the status of their job stress. The important results obtained through this study are as follows. Firstly, the research on impact factor of job stress showed the performance appraisal and responsibility for business performance are the most stressful factors. Secondly, the research on the problems of activities for stress reduction carried out in the current workplace showed that the most office workers indicated the deficiency of financial investment and exploration of ideas related to the activities and insufficiency of public relation of activities.

Input filtering as a preprocessing method is so much crucial to get good performance in time series forecasting. There are a few preprocessing methods (i.e. ARMA outputs as time domain filters, and Fourier transform or wavelet transform as time-frequency domain filters) for handling time series. Specially, the time-frequency domain filters describe the fractal structure of financial markets better than the time domain filters due to theoretically additional frequency information. Therefore, we, first of all, try to describe and analyze specially some issues on the effectiveness of different filtering methods from viewpoint of the performance of a neural network based forecasting. And then we discuss about neural network model architecture issues, for example, what type of neural network learning architecture is selected for our time series forecasting, and what input size should be applied to a model. In this study an input selection problem is limited to a size selection of the lagged input variables. To solve this problem, we simulate on analyzing and comparing a few neural networks having different model architecture and also use an embedding dimension measure as chaotic time series analysis or nonlinear dynamic analysis to reduce the dimensionality (i.e. the size of time delayed input variables) of the models. Throughout our study, experiments for integration methods of joint time-frequency analysis and neural network techniques are applied to a case study of daily Korean won / U. S dollar exchange returns and finally we suggest an integration framework for future research from our experimental results.

Recently many Company are investing time and money in the implementation of the Knowledge Management System (KMS). The scales and methodologies of their investment fur KMS has various appearances according to company-size and also level of understanding about KMS systems. The interest in KMS is increased with the P. Druckers assertion that the economic power shifts to the person who can manage the "Knowledge". But there is also mistrust about ROI of KMS related with the management performances. In this paper The level of Codification and Personalization of Practice Types of KMS will be analyzed in order to make an empirical analysis about the Irrelevance between KMS-Investment and corporate performances. To complete this study, correlation- and average analysis will be performed. As the measurement parameters for the corporate performances, we use the 4 categories, Financial, Customer, Process and Education-Growth Aspect, of BSC (Balanced ScoreCard) concept.

VaR is used extensively as a tool for risk management by financial institutions. For convenience, the normal distribution is usually assumed for the measurement of VaR, but recently the method using extreme value theory is attracted for more accurate VaR estimation. So far, GEV and GPD models are used for probability models of EVT for the VaR estimation. In this paper, the PP model is suggested for improved VaR estimation as compared to the traditonal EV models such as GEV and GPD models. In view of the stochastic process, the PP model is regarded as a generalized model which include GEV and GPD models. In the empirical analysis, the PP model is shown to be superior to GEV and GPD models for the performance of VaR estimation.

To explore the social construction of the concept of leadership, image of media mogul depicted in the popular business newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, was analyzed. Then, the reconstructed image of the CEO was compared with the firm's stock price change to see their relationship, if any. This paper focused on the case of Steve Case (previous chairman of AOL Time Warner), who was the leader of the world largest media company. The period for the analysis was three years and five months from his inauguration(January 2000) to the resignation(May 2003). In general, CEO of a firm represents the firm itself. Thus, the image of the CEO is highly transcends to the image of the firm as well. Consequently, the image of CEO might have an impact on the firm's performance. Since business newspaper works as one of the most important information intermediaries in the stock market, the image of CEO constructed in the newspaper might be a critical indicator for the investors. The results revealed that media coverage of Steve Case was commensurate with the financial performance, particularly stock price change of the AOL Time Warner.

This paper defines the AES password algorithm used as a symmetric-key-based password algorithm, and proposes the design of parallel password algorithm to utilize the resources of multi-core processor as much as possible. The proposed parallel password algorithm was confirmed for parallel execution of password computation by allocating the password algorithm according to the number of cores, and about 30% of performance increase compared to AES password algorithm. The encryption/decryption performance of the password algorithm was confirmed through binary comparative analysis tool, which confirmed that the binary results were the same for AES password algorithm and proposed parallel password algorithm, and the decrypted binary were also the same. The parallel password algorithm for multi-core environment proposed in this paper can be applied to authentication/payment of financial service in PC, laptop, server, and mobile environment, and can be utilized in the area that required high-speed encryption operation of large-sized data.

It has been more than four years since the outbreak of global financial crisis. However, the world economy continues to be challenged with new crisis such as the European debt crisis and the fiscal cliff issue of the U.S. The global economic environment remains fragile and prone to further disappointment, although the balance of risks is now less skewed to the downside than it has been in recent years. It's no wonder that maritime business will be bearish since the global business affects the maritime business directly as well as indirectly. This paper, hence, aims to predict the Baltic Dry Index representing the shipping business using the ARIMA-type models and Hodrick-Prescott filtering technique. The monthly data cover the period January 2000 through January 2013. The out-of-sample forecasting performance is measured by three summary statistics: root mean squared percent error, mean absolute percent error and mean percent error. These forecasting performances are also compared with those of the random walk model. This study shows that the ARIMA models including Intervention-ARIMA have lower rmse than random walk model. This means that it's appropriate to forecast BDI using the ARIMA models. This paper predicts that the shipping market will be more bearish in 2013 than the year 2012. These pessimistic ex-ante forecasts are supported by the Hodrick-Prescott filtering technique.

Android apps are mostly distributed as an apk files, and when the apk file is uncompressed, resource files such as xml files, images, and sounds related to app design can be extracted. If the resources of banking or finance-related apps are stolen and fake apps are distributed, personal information could be stolen or financial fraud may occur. Therefore, it is necessary to make it difficult to steal the design as well as the code when distributing the app. In this paper, we implemented a tool to convert the xml file into Java code and obfuscate using the Proguard, and evaluated the execution performance. If the layout obfuscation technique proposed in this paper is used, it is expected that the app operation performance can be improved and the illegal copying damage caused by the theft of the screen design can be prevented.

Changes have occurred in the professional capabilities of the construction project managers after the global financial crisis. As representatives of construction companies and projects, construction project managers have full responsibility over a construction project. Throughout its life cycle, from design through construction to completion, the business capabilities of such managers are regarded as critical elements in the changes in the country's construction economy. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the main capabilities of current construction project managers, and to analysis of its competitiveness using Important-Performance Analysis(IPA). The results of IPA were as follows; (1)capability to win new contracts and capability to collect information of new project are needed for external relation competitiveness, (2)gerentocratic management mind-set and active breakthrough are needed for internal project management competitiveness, and (3)capability to predict issues and self-improvement are needed for self discipline competitiveness. However, this work is still considered to provide the basic data that can help Korean construction companies who plan to educate the project manager's strengthen their medium and long-term capabilities.
