This experiment was carried out to investigate the growth characteristics of virus-free sweetpotato in hydroponic bag culture. The rooted one-node and upper-shoot cuttings of 'Yeonhwangmi' and 'Mannamiwere' transplanted into the plastic bag (0.5 mm of thickness, $W300{\times}L1,200{\times}H120mm$) culture system filled with commercial horticultural media (TKS-2, Flora Gard Co.) and cocopeat + perlite (3 : 7, 5 : 5, 7 : 3, (v/v). Nutrient solution of National Horticultural Research Station in Japan was separately irrigated $3times{\times}30minutes$ per day (10:00, 14:00 and 20:00 with timer control) by the drip irrigation. The growth of two varieties was not significantly different among four substrates in 15 days, but it was excellent in commercial horticultural media (TKS-2) and cocopeat 3 : perlite 7 (v/v) in 20 days. The growth in 'Yeonhwangmiwas' promoted than that in 'Mannami', and the upper-shoot cuttings of 'Yeonhwangmi' and 'Mannami' showed a significant vine elongation (over 10 and 2 cm, respectively) compared to the one-node cuttings. Fresh weight and dry weight in cocopeat 3 : perlite 7 (v/v) were significant increased than that in cocopeat 7 : perlite 3 (v/v). Therefore, the bag culture system filed with cocopeat 3 : perlite 7 (v/v) was successfully applied on propagation of virus-free sweetpotato seedling, and the result expected that the bag culture system could be commercialized without high financial costs for farmers.

This study was performed to investigate the effective components of media of Pleurotus eryngii for bottle cultivation and several alternative material for reducing cost and smooth supply. The results show that Potato starch, Cocoa shell, Corn gluten feed, Soybean flour(solvent extracted), Cottonseed hull, Poultry manure can be replaced in Bean curd dregs of basal substrates. Especially addition of Soybean flour at 2~8% and Poulty manure at 2% in place of Bean curd dregs is effective for mycelial growth of P. eryngii, Also Pine sawdust appears that can be replaced by Softwood sawdust and addition of softwood sawdust at 25.2% is most effective. Addition of $CaCO_3$, at 2~3%, $K_2CO_3$, at 0.2%, $MgSO_4{\cdot}7H_2O$ in 0.1%, $MnSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O$ in 0.05% is effective for mycelial growth of P. eryngii, Activation materials used in this study have not enough benefit for mycelial growth in the financial aspect.
Purpose - There is a recent social trend that is focused on the revitalization of business-founding. Business-founding now has an important impact on the progress of the national economy because of youth unemployment and an increase in baby-boom generation retirees. However, the support and infrastructure required for business-founding of the disabled are very insufficient. Since most supporting policies are on youth or middle-aged business-founding, business-founding by the disabled and the socially weak is losing competitiveness. Accordingly, this study diagnosed the issues by analyzing the current status of business-founding by the disabled and suggested a fostering direction for the advance of business-founding by the disabled. An idea for the founding of various business items is required for the competitiveness of business-founding by the disabled and the establishment of a growth-model based on marketing is required so that business-founding by the disabled would advance toward commercialization with growth potential. Research design, data, and methodology - Regarding the study method, the existing study literature on the status and issues in business-founding was mainly explored. In addition, the existing literature on the status and issues in business-founding by the disabled was also studied. The support on business-founding by the disabled by policy enforced by the 'Welfare Service Agency for the Disabled'and the support of related agencies including financial support on the commercialization of business-founding by the disabled were also examined. Results - Existing studies on business-founding by the disabled are very insufficient. It is very difficult to study a viable business-founding by the disabled fostering policy without thorough learning on the difficulties of business-founding by the disabled. Therefore, this study suggested a direction for the resolution of various issues such as market, funds, item, operational matters, and service by analyzing the difficulties in business-founding by the disabled until now. Particularly, this study suggested that building a commercialization model from the aspect of marketing strategy and the effort to change the growth aspect of the disabled into competitiveness are essential. Conclusions - This study examined the aspect of developing an item-development process for the growth and founding of disabled-owned businesses and the requirement of a government support system by multiple policies. Since the number of studies on business-founding by the disabled is very small, it is expected that this study would become an important study in the field of business-founding by the disabled. The revitalization of business-founding by the disabled substantially contributes to the progress of the state of the economy and continuous interest is required from the viewpoint of equal advance in the society. Success models in business-founding by the disabled should be created continuously and active publicizing of them to the disabled business-founders by analyzing the success cases would also be required. In addition, it is believed that a market entry strategy by way of a win-win strategy and cooperative relation with big companies should be also developed in the future.

This study attempts to explore the relationships of Korean Immigrants with New Zealand agricultural environment, their choice of agricultural occupations and adjustments. New Zealand, based on agricultural products in its economy, was one of the richest countries during the 1950s and 1960s because of its dependency in market to United Kingdom Since 1971 when U.K joined the European Community, its economy was no more strong enough to support the living conditions in the 1950's and 1960's. Therefore, New Zealand Government initiated some programme to assist its farmers. Such supports resulted in severe financial problems of the country. Thus, reforms removing almost all support programmes has been proceeded after 1984. Though horticulture is still lower in New Zealand's exports of agricultural products, its growth has been remarkable. This was results due to the contribution of smallholdings, along with migration from city to urban fringe occurred during the 1970's and 1980's. In the 1900's it has been known that horticulture in the smallholding takes a hard works for old ages, who required further partitions their lands. Meanwhile, the rapid growth of Korean immigrants to New Zealand in the 1900's has been occurred, and this study shows one or two years periods in the search of job in case of Korean farmers. The most attractiveness in agriculture for them was that it provides simultaneously both jobs and housing. Korean farmers' land use succeeds previous owner's land use, and concentrates on green house agriculture cultivating mainly tomato and cucumber. The size of land is quite small and not comparable to New Zealand's average size, but a satisfactory levels are rather high and successful in evaluating themselves concerning current occupations, even though they have rarely experienced about agriculture before. Korean farmers attributes a high satisfaction to agricultural techniques learned from previous owners and a related support authority. The results of this study showed that Korean farmers has been absorbed into New Zealand economy rather than Korean economy. Finally, it has been pointed that the growth of Korean farmers and agriculture in New Zealand is the results of complex factors such as occupations, children's educational opportunity, and the access to the city.

This paper inquires the macro-economic factors that may affect the corporate venture capital (CVC) from an industrial organization theory perspective. Unlike existing studies focusing CVC investments related to parent corporates' strategic intention, we identified CVC firm as an independent financial investor affected by macro environment and industrial structure. Specifically, we empirically investigate whether and how industry's boom, exogenous crisis, economic growth, and competition intensity affect the CVC investment for a data set of investment in the U.S. based corporate venture capital industry, 1996-2017. The empirical data analyzed in the study contained a total of 84 U.S. based CVC firms and their 2,306 investments from 1996 until 2017. After conducting a time-series negative binomial analysis, our empirical analyses suggest that the CVC investments are affected negatively by exogenous crisis and competition intensity, and positively by industrial boom and economic growth. we found the significance and direction of our independent variables strongly supported all of our four hypotheses in a highly robust manner. The results of this study are expected to contribute the literatures of corporate venture capital and venture investment by illustrating which macro-economic and industrial structure factors affect CVC investment decision to adapt to dynamic environmental change beside strategic intention of CVC firm's parent corporates.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of career flexibility on employment status, career growth, and job satisfaction longitudinally. Demographic information(gender, age, parent's income level, and students' perceived financial states of family), vocational identity, employment status, career growth, and job satisfaction at 1, 2, and 3 years after the first data collection with a sample of 259(time 1), 229(time 2), 182(time 3) were collected respectively. Multivariate regression and logistic regression analysis were performed. Results showed that in-breadth career exploration positively predicted to employment status at time 1, 2, 3 consistently and career flexibility also positively predicted to employment status at time 2, 3. The longitudinal effect of career flexibility was found that the expectancy of career flexibility had shown to have stronger effect. In addition, career growth was influenced by in-depth career exploration at time 2, 3. On the other hand, no variables were related to job satisfaction in this study. Results of the current study provided the new insights for career education and limitation and future suggestions were discussed.

Car-sharing is a representative model of the sharing economy, and it is a service that rents or uses a car for the necessary time without owning a car. This industry is growing due to various factors such as technological advances, increasing awareness of environmental protection, and increasing demand for solving traffic congestion problems in cities. Accordingly, there is a need for a strategic approach for companies providing car-sharing services to respond quickly to market changes in order to expand market share and differentiate services. Accordingly, this study conducted a case study on open innovation activities between Gongcar and existing rental car companies, focusing on the research question "What effects do open innovation activities between car-sharing companies and existing rental car companies cause?" As a result of the study, it was confirmed that Gongcar have (1) the ability to actively respond to market fluctuations by establishing a flexible vehicle supply chain based on demand, (2) have significantly reduced growth capital expenditure (Growth Capex), and both cafe and rental car companies have (3) performed successful open innovation by improving key KPI indicators and recording financial performance. This study reveals how open innovation acts as a key business growth engine in the car-sharing industry, and its significance is found in that it empirically confirmed the successful implementation conditions of open innovation based on resource dependence theory.
The recent growth of the national film and broadcasting industry and the international success of korean films and dramas have resulted in enlarging the financial investment of overall film and drama producing system. Many of local governments contend in the inducement of the drama and movie production because building a drama or movie set help to grow the local business. However, the effort of local governments has rarely achieved the long-term effect. The purpose of this paper is to examine the successful examples of the local specialization as drama or movie set, to compare them with other countries, and to analyze the systematic cause of their success. Moreover, this paper tries to suggest few principles to preplan the successful inducement, to increase the positive outcome, and to invigorate the local area.
The present study purposed to examine whether BSC, a management renovation method, is as effective in university hospitals, which are non-profit institutions, as it is in profit-making corporations. In order to determine causal relations among the BSC performance measurement indexes, we analyzed a case of university hospital using a structural equation model. The results of analyzing the causal relations among the BSC performance measurement indexes were all statistically significant, and therefore the research hypotheses were all accepted. Future research needs to study causal relations among the BSC performance measurement indexes from the viewpoint of the learning of financial data, growth, internal processes, and customers.
In this study, we examined the effect of customer satisfaction and switching cost on continuous use intention to suggest how organizations can retain their customers when market growth slows down and competition becomes stronger. We carefully developed and modified survey instruments through a pre-test, and subsequently surveyed 432 dental care users in Seoul and Busan areas. As a result of regression analysis, higher procedural learning switching cost, relational switching cost, and customer satisfaction were manifested in the increased continuous use intention. In contrast, higher financial switching cost and customer satisfaction with insufficient effort for information acquisition led to decreased switching intention. In addition, procedural initial switching cost and residents in Seoul led to increased switching intention. Understanding continuous use intention and switching intention is important for healthcare institutions striving to maintain market position. The findings of this study suggest a paradigm shift from conventional transactional marketing to strategic relational marketing to be effective in the healthcare environment today.
