피라미의 유영특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Swimming Performance of Pale Chub(Zacco platypus))

  • 어류는 생존과 번식을 위해 회유 또는 이동을 하며, 이러한 회유나 이동은 어종에 따라 넓은 범위에서 이루어 질수도 있고 국지적으로 이루어 질 수도 있다. 피라미는 한국의 강과 하천에 우점종으로 서식하는 어종이다. 그러나 하천에 설치된 댐, 보, 암거 등은 어류가 이동하거나 번식하는데 많은 장애가 되고 있다. 실제로 어류 서식처간의 연결부가 배수암거(culvert)로 설치되어 있는 경우에는 평상시 피라미와 같이 몸집이 작은 어류가 이동하는데 장애를 줄 정도의 빠른 유속과 낮은 수심이 발생되고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 국내 하천에 서식하고 있는 민물고기의 유영특성에 관한 연구가 충분치 않아 현실적으로 어도기능을 위한 합리적인 배수암거 설계기준을 마련하기가 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 배수암거의 평상시 어도기능을 위한 설계유속을 제시하기 위해 국내 하천의 우점종이자 국지회유성 어종인 피라미의 유영특성을 분석하고자 함이다. 피라미의 유영특성을 파악하기 위한 실험은 증진유속방법(incremental velocity test)과 고정유속방법(fixed velocity test)을 병행하여 수행하였다. 실험 결과 피라미(체장 8.9cm)의 유영특성 중 한계유영속도는 0.7 m/s 정도로 나타났다. 따라서 홍수기를 제외한 평상시 유량조건에서 배수암거 설계유속은 피라미(체장 8.9cm)를 대상어종으로 할 경우 0.7 m/s 를 초과하지 않아야 할 것으로 판단된다. 최소수심은 등지느러미까지 충분히 물속에 잠길 수 있는 수심이 필요한 것으로 파악되었다.

  • This article reviews the papers published in the Korean Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering during 2011. It is intended to understand the status of current research in the areas of heating, cooling, ventilation, sanitation, and indoor environments of buildings and plant facilities. Conclusions are as follows. (1) Research trends of thermal and fluid engineering have been surveyed as groups of fluid machinery and fluid flow, thermodynamic cycle, and new and renewable energy. Various topics were presented in the field of fluid machinery and fluid flow. Research issues mainly focused on the rankine cycle in the field of thermodynamic cycle. In the new and renewable energy area, researches were presented on geothermal energy, fuel cell, biogas, reformer, solar water heating system, and metane hydration. (2) Research works on heat transfer area have been reviewed in the categories of heat transfer characteristics, pool boiling and condensing heat transfer, nanofluids and industrial heat exchangers. Researches on heat transfer characteristics included heat transfer above liquid helium surface in a cryostat, methane hydrate formation, heat and mass transfer in a liquid desiccant dehumidifier, thermoelectric air-cooling system, heat transfer in multiple slot impinging jet, and heat transfer enhancement by protrusion-in-dimples. In the area of pool boiling and condensing heat transfer, researches on pool boiling of water in low-fin and turbo-B surfaces, pool boiling of R245a, convective boiling two-phase flow in trapezoidal microchannels, condensing of FC-72 on pin-finned surfaces, and natural circulation vertical evaporator were actively performed. In the area of nanofluids, thermal characteristics of heat pipes using water-based MWCNT nanofluids and the thermal conductivity and viscosity were measured. In the area of industrial heat exchangers, researches on fin-tube heat exchangers for waste gas heat recovery and Chevron type plate heat exchanger were implemented. (3) Refrigeration systems with alternative refrigerants such as $CO_2$, hydrocarbons, and mixed refrigerants were studied. Heating performance improvement of heat pump systems were tried applying supplementary components such as a refrigerant heater or a solar collector. The effects of frost growth were studied on the operation characteristic of refrigeration systems and the energy performance of various defrost methods were evaluated. The current situation of the domestic cold storage facilities was analyzed and the future demand was predicted. (4) In building mechanical system fields, a variety of studies were conducted to achieve effective consumption of heat and maximize efficiency of heat in buildings. Various researches were performed to maximize performance of mechanical devices and optimize the operation of HVAC systems. (5) In the fields of architectural environment and energy, diverse purposes of studies were conducted such as indoor environment, building energy, and renewable energy. In particular, renewable energy and building energy-related researches have mainly been studied as reflecting the global interests. In addition, various researches have been performed for reducing cooling load in a building using spot exhaust air, natural ventilation and energy efficiency systems.

SLEDS:비동기 마이크로프로세서를 위한 상위 수준 사건구동식 시뮬레이터 (SLEDS:A System-Level Event-Driven Simulator for Asynchronous Microprocessors)

  • WHDL이나 Verilog와 같은 기존의 하드웨어 기술 언어(Hardware Description Language)를 이용하여 비동기 마이크로세서를 모델링하고 시뮬레이션을 수행할수 있으나 핸드셰이크 프로토콜 (handshake protocol) 에 의해 동작하는 비동기 마이크로프로세서의 기술이 지나치게 복잡해진다. 결과적으 로 성능 평가 시간이 너무 길어져 상위 수준(system level)에서의 효과적인 설계 공간 탐색에 많은 어려움을 겪는다. 따라서 상위 수준에서 비동기적 특성인 핸드 셰이크 프로토콜을 쉽게 모델링하고 빠른시간 내에 효과적으로 시뮬레이션할수 있는 방법론과 도구가 필요하다. 이런 목적 하에 프로세서 모델링과 시 뮬레이션을 통하여 성능 평가를 수행할수 있는 자동화 도구 SLEDS(System Level Event Driven Simulator)를 개발하였다. 본 도구의 궁극적 목표는 프로세서를 구성하는 모듈들의 지연을 조절하여 (delay balancing)전체적으로 프로세서가 고성능을 얻을수 있도록 최적화 조건을 구하는 것이다. 이와 더불어 정의된 행위를 실제로 수행함으로써 예상한 결과와 실제 결과를 비교하여 설계가 제대로 되었는지 상위 수준에서의 검증을 목표로 한다.

OFDM 시스템에서 Adaptive Subcarrier Assignment 기법을 통한 간섭 경감에 관한 연구 (A study on the Adaptive Subcarrier Assignment techniques for interference suppression in OFDM System)

  • 본 논문에서는 OFDM 방식의 무선통신 시스템에서 동존/이종 혹은 기타 재밍에 의한 통신 성능의 열화 시 간섭을 받은 부반송파를 추정하여, 간섭이 없는 부 반송파만 전송함으로써 어떠한 간섭 상황에서도 정상적인 통신이 가능토록 하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 Adaptive Sub-carrier Assignment(ASA) 기법은 수신 단에서 FFT를 거친 각 부 반송파의 수신 전력 값을 추정하여, AWGN환경에서 원 신호의 평균 전력치 값인 문턱값(threshold) 보다 큰 부 반송파는 강한 간섭을 받은 부분으로 송신 단에서 신호전송 시 제외하고, 간섭에 영향을 받지 않은 주파수대역에 대해서만 부반송파에 정보를 보내는 방식으로, 기존의 무선 통신시스템의 물리계층 구조의 변경이 없이 강한 간섭 신호 하에서도 통신을 할 수 있는 시스템 구조를 제공한다. 제안된 ASA방식을 사용하여 OFDM 시스템에서 시뮬레이션을 통해 간섭 신호의 주파수 대역 및 간섭 전력 값에 따른 부 반송파의 간섭 정보를 추정하고, 성능을 분석한다.

V-band 용 고이득 저잡음 증폭기와 모듈 제작에 관한 연구 (Studies on the High-gain Low Noise Amplifier and Module Fabrication for V-band)

  • In this paper, millimeter-wave monolithic integrated circuit (MIMIC) low noise amplifier (LNA) for V-band, which is applicable to 58 GHz, we designed and fabricated. We fabricated the module using the fabricated LNA chips. The V-band MIMIC LNA was fabricated using the high performance $0.1\;{\mu}\;m$ ${\Gamma}-gate$ pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT). The MIMIC LNA was designed using active and passive device library, which is composed $0.1\;{\mu}\;m$ ${\Gamma}-gate$ PHEMT and coplanar waveguide (CPW) technology. The designed V-band MIMIC LNA was fabricated using integrated unit processes of active and passive device. Also we fabricated CPW-to-waveguide fin-line transition of WR-15 type for module. The Transmission Line was fabricated using RT Duroid 5880 substrate. The measured results of V-band MIMIC LNA and Module are shown $S_{21}$ gain of 13.1 dB and 8.3 dB at 58 GHz, respectively. The fabricated LNA chip and Module in this work show a good noise figure of 3.6 dB and 5.6 dB at 58 GHz, respectively.

통신장비용 앰플리파이어 액체냉각장치 및 냉각유체 분배기의 최적설계 및 성능특성 (Optimum Design of Liquid Cooling Heat Exchangers and Cooling-Fluid Distributors for a Amplifier Cabinet of Telecommunication Equipment)

  • Three liquid cooling heat exchangers for cooling of telecommunication equipment were designed and their cooling performances were tested. The liquid cooling heat exchangers had twelve rectangular channels $(5\times3 mm)$ with different flow paths of 1, 4, and 12. Silicon rubber heaters were used to provide heat flux to the test section. Heat input was varied from 75 to 400 W, while flow rate and inlet temperature of working fluid were altered from 1.2 to 4.0 liter/fin and from 15 to 3$30^{\circ}C$, respectively. The 4-path heat exchanger showed lower and more uniform average inner temperatures between heaters and the surface of heat exchanger than those of the others. To obtain optimal distribution of working fluid to each channels of liquid cooling heat exchangers, 2-3-2 and 4-3 type tube distributors were designed, and their distribution performances of working fluid were numerically and experimentally investigated. The distributor of the 2-3-2 type showed superior distribution performance compared with those of the 4-3 type distributor.

하회.양동마을에 작용된 환경설계원칙과 문화경관상 (A Study on the Environmental Design Principles and Cultural Landscape Pattern of the Hahoe. the Yangdong Traditional Village)

  • The purpose of this research explain the meaning of the environmental design principles and cultural landscape pattern(dualistic space organization) of the Hahoe(河回:winding river village) the Yangdong(良洞) traditional village. Village's space organizations based on Shamanism, fin-yang and Five elements principle, Feng-shui idea, social system and Confucian ideas. And it were accomplish curat landscape pattern(village:form+object=pattern) through the frame of settlement space. As a central persons of villages(the Hahoe $.$ the Yangdong) construction, Suhae(西厓) experienced tough Chunghyodang - Wonjichongsa - Ogyonchongsa - Pyongsansowon channel(忠孝堂 -遠志精舍 -玉端精含 -脣山書院) and Kyomam(謙 ) experienced tough Yangjindang - Binyeonchongsa - Kyomamchongsa - Hwachonsodang(養眞堂 - 賓淵精舍 - 謙庵f精舍 - 花川書堂) channel. Also Woojae(愚齋) experienced tough Suhbackdang - Khankachung - Dongkangsowon(書百堂 - 觀稼停 - 東江書院) and Hoejae(晦齋) experienced tough Moochumdang - Hyangdan - Oaksansowon(無添堂 - 香壇 - 玉山書院). It is space organization of themselves interact contrast and sequence principles with competition in good faith. And ecological art-space, that is, environmental spare organizations of traditional village has been reflected harmony between nature and artificiality, spatial rhythm and sequence, spatial hierarchy between upper classes and humble class, permeability space, asymmetrical balance, aesthetic space perception. The humble classes hold a ceremony Hahoe's Pyolsingut-Talnori(maskdance drama), Dangjae(堂祭:religious service) at the Dang(堂:shamanism spot) and Yangdong's Sohraesulnori, Hohminori. And the upper class hold a ceremony Hahoe's Julbulnori and Yangdong's Chungjanori connected with culture of confucianism. Specially, the cultural structure cf the village is evidence of a contrast between the upper class and the humble classes, time, method and location of ceremony(performance).

디지털뱅킹 플랫폼 기반 핀테크 사례 연구: 코스콤 (A Study on Digital Banking Platform-based FinTech Case: Koscom)

  • Recently, in the global financial transaction field, global transactions using computer systems and server hubs between foreign exchanges beyond the one-dimensional offline transactions and two-dimensional online transactions have been actively conducted. In the previous research by Lee Hyung-wook and Lee Min-jae (2018), as the globalization has accelerated following the development of digital technology and the expansion of ubiquitous communication network, the role of companies, the attribute of economic value creation and economic structure are being reorganized. It is said that O2O (Online to Offline) transactions are increasing due to the development. As a result, a new financial transaction paradigm is emerging that solves the inconveniences of existing financial services and enhances speed and convenience. Considering the global network trend and the rapidly developing and evolving digital bank environment, the necessity of utilizing the business platform model is emerging. However, despite this necessity, there are very limited cases in which such an attempt has been applied in practice. Accordingly, this study seeks to explore the business platform of the new financial transaction system. Specifically, the case study systematically examines the actual implementation of a unique network connection model with Koscom's global investment bank, which is currently in charge of the domestic financial transaction system, and improves ICT innovation performance and process through this. I would like to suggest a solution. In particular, this study analyzed a variety of business model construction and use cases by pursuing a platform connection with digital banks, which has recently been increasingly in demand. Therefore, this study intends to pursue the original and long-term profitability of the company by utilizing ICT innovation and platform business model, and also analyzes the convenience and excellence of trading for institutional and individual investors using the platform of digital bank. The implications of this study are significant in that it explores and explores the actual cases of ICT innovation and additional digital bank platform-connected business models based on this, and suggests a unique and preemptive business strategy of the company in the future.

착상조건에서 연속난방이 가능한 히트펌프 성능 향상 기술 (Performance Improvement Technology on a Continuous Heating Heat Pump at Frost Condition)

  • 히트펌프는 에너지 효율이 높고, 지열, 폐열, 공기열 등 다양한 열원 사용이 가능하기 때문에 보급이 빠르게 확대되고 있다. 공기를 열원으로 이용하는 공랭식 히트펌프의 경우는 실외기 표면에 형성되는 서리를 제거하기 위해 제상운전이 요구된다. 일반적으로 사용하는 역사이클(reverse cycle) 제상운전 방법은 연속난방이 불가능하며 이로 인해 성능계수가 감소하는 원인이 된다. 본 연구에서는 실외기 코일용 휜-관 열교환기를 3열로 구성하고 난방과 제상이동시에 가능하도록 일정시간 간격으로 열교환기의 한 개의 열을 응축기로, 나머지 열은 증발기로 교번 운전을 수행하여 KS C 9306에 규정된 제상-난방 시험조건(건구온도 $2^{\circ}C$, 습구온도 $1^{\circ}C$)에서 최소 180분 이상 연속난방이 가능함을 실증하였으며 역사이클 제상방법을 사용하는 일반적인 히트펌프 대비 COP가 약 20% 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

입자영상유속계를 이용한 은어 (Plecoglossus altivelis)의 유영능력 측정 (Measurement of swimming ability of silver fish (Plecoglossus altivelis) using a Particle Imaging Velocimetry)

  • As a fish way is a structure for fish migrating well toward upper stream due to breaking river flow by a dam or dammed pool, the specific fish's swimming ability is one of the main factors in making a plan and managing it. In addition, it also needs to understand the current field in fish road to evaluate its performance. This study is aimed to analyze the swimming patterns with current velocity changes using a Particle Imaging Velocimetry (PIV) in order to understand the swimming ability of silver fish (Plecoglossus altivelis) that is one of the fishes migrating through the fish way of Nakdong River, and to analyze the 2 dimensional current field near to silver fish at swimming momentum. The results showed that average values of tail beat frequencies for continuous swimming with current velocity were 2.8 Hz at 0.3 m/s, 3.2 Hz at 0.4 m/s, 3.8 Hz at 0.5 m/s, respectively. The wake would be produced by direction turning of fish's tail fin and its magnitude would be verified by the difference of pressure. The pressure turbulent flow produced by its tail beat would be made in both sides, and then, the magnitude of wake should be the source of moving direction. The swimming momentum will help to support the primary factor in making a suitable design for specific fish species migrating toward the district river.
