Characteristics of Non-plasticizer PVAc Resin for Wood Products

  • The applicable scope of adhesives in the current society is broad and currently, several types of PVAc resin are sold in the market for adhesives. PVAc resin is primarily used for wood works and paper adhesion. However, the PVAc resin itself has the disadvantages that its viscosity is highly temperature- dependent and the work condition and viscosity get worse at the low temperature in the winter seasons. Although phthalate-based plasticizer is used to complement these disadvantages, adhesion strength and heat-resistance are weakened by adding the phthalate-based plasticizer and in the winter period, the amount of quantity should be increased. Also in a high-density product, it worsens the work condition by causing a rise of viscosity and delays curing and in a low-density product, it worsens the storage stability by causing separate precipitation. In addition to these, the phthalate-based plasticizer as a material of causing environmental hormones is currently restricted in the advanced countries for its amount of use and also in the domestic market, it is necessary to prepare for the situation. This study has not only eliminated the disadvantages of PVAc resin emulsion without adding a phthalate-based plasticizer of causing these problems, but also synthesized the PVAc resin for timber adhesion that is excellent in woodwork, thermal-resistance, water-resistance, storage stability, and adhesion performance. As the result, it has proven an excellent performance in thermal resistance, water resistance, storage stability, and minimum film forming temperature.

  • Since success of in the box office, there are not only highly interested in 3D Stereoscopic in Media market but also has been briskly supporting for 3D Stereoscopic producing in variety platforms including film, broadcasting, mobile They expect 3D Stereoscopic will be a new standard format for media of domestic market as well as overseas. However there are required professional production system and grant capital for 3D Stereoscopic production. In case of domestic industry, there are not forged through specialized production system and lack of 3D Stereoscopic producing. They are needed not only Pipeline for 3D Stereoscopic production but also strategic supporting like specialized education and test-bed for 3D Stereoscopic production. It is able to established efficient and specialized system for 3D Stereoscopic production given the pipeline proposal.

A Study on the Advertising Strategy Using 'Shin Hallyu' Cultural Content for Marketing Korean Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Products Targeting Chinese Consumers

  • The "New Korean Wave" (Shin Hallyu) phenomenon, which is represented by the global popularity of BTS and director Bong Joon-ho's film "Parasite," is making the world excited. The influence of the Korean Wave is not only on politics, society, and culture, but it also has considerable economic ripple effects. We applied individual in-depth interviews with seven media and marketing experts in China to assess the changes in the impact of Korean cultural content (i.e., Hallyu content) and examine the possibility of marketing for Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) products using Hallyu content. Considering its massive market potential, China is still an attractive target for Korean companies and is of even greater importance to SMEs, which are highly dependent on exports and lacking marketing budgets as well as a professional workforce. Korean businesses and the economy at large would get a real boost if they could penetrate the Chinese market by utilizing the strength of Hallyu content. Based on the results of the in-depth interviews, the conclusion of our study suggests the direction of advertising strategy on how Korean products can attract the minds of Chinese consumers by utilizing the Shin Hallyu. This research is a practical study that diagnoses the reality of the Korean Wave in China objectively and has excellent practical implications as it proposes methods of how SMEs should use Hallyu for their marketing strategies.

A Study on Character Storytelling for Children's TV Animation Based on Viewing Rate (시청률에 기반한 유아용 TV 애니메이션 캐릭터 스토리텔링 분석)

  • Since Korea started producing original animations targeting children, market of character for children has been led by TV animation with continuous broadcasting and OSMU. With a successful fondation in animation toy industry, its market is expanding to film industry, at the same time, brings positive effect for benefit of domestic animation. Therefore, this study researched viewing rate of children's TV animation and analyzed character storytelling to help foster and grow the direction of future animation characters. For the analysis, I selected 20 animations with high viewing rate and analyzed the storytelling of 95 characters based on their roles. The results of this study are as follows: in children's animation appeared various types of characters helping each other to make the viewer learn socializing. In addition, character's external setting varied depending on its role. Moreover, in the characters' internal setting, the most frequently appeared keyword was leadership, however, their personality keyword varied depending on the role.

  • Low temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) technology using a high power laser have been widely applied to thin film transistors (TFTs) for liquid crystal, organic light emitting diode (OLED) display, driver circuit for system on glass (SOG) and static random access memory (SRAM). Recently, the semiconductor industry is continuing its quest to create even more powerful CPU and memory chips. This requires increasing of individual device speed through the continual reduction of the minimum size of device features and increasing of device density on the chip. Moreover, the flat panel display industry also need to be brighter, with richer more vivid color, wider viewing angle, have faster video capability and be more durable at lower cost. Kornic Systems Co., Ltd. developed the $KORONA^{TM}$ LTP/GLTP series - an innovative production tool for fabricating flat panel displays and semiconductor devices - to meet these growing market demands and advance the volume production capabilities of flat panel displays and semiconductor industry.   • The authoring systems for digital contents using multimedia technologies ate requested in many fields such as education, medical science, entertainment market e-commerce and etc. Especially, the emergence of cyber universities and the rapid expansion of on-line education market require the effective contents authoring systems, which have various functions to generate the qualified contents. Therefore, many systems arc developed and currently used. However, since the developed systems considered only the developer's convenience, the generated digital contents by using these systems are failed to draw tile users'(or learners') active interaction with contents. That is, since the users just watch the contents like watching a drama or a film, it causes many problems in delivering the contents effectively or in evaluating the users. This paper presents, develops, and implements the new contents authoring system by using programing languages and/or software tools. The presented, developed, and implemented system mimics the face-to-face education in off-line system, induces the users' active interaction with contents, and continuous evaluation to the users.

A Study on Distribution and Packaging Status of Korean Cut Flowers (국내 절화류의 유통 및 포장 실태조사)

  • Pusan, Kwanagju, Yangjae Floriculture Auction Market to packaging and distribution status of cut flowers in Korean markets from October, 1997 to Feburuary, 1998 this study was surveyed. In case of packaging, the inner packaging materials was used almost used news papers and polyethylene films, the outer box was double wall corrugated paperboard box. Plastic container box was a few. The using shape of box was A-1 type, bending materials was PP film and OPP tape. There was whole sale and retail in all Korean markets in case of distribution. The distribution route was three, the one was farmers through consignments in Seoul to consummers, it was 42% of total distribution volume. The other was auction market in Yangjae, the distribution volume was 18%. The last was distributed in farmers and provincial markets by the dealers, the volume was 40%. All farmers and officers want to applicate the standard regulation of packaging box, but dealers were not.

  • Recently, as the smart phone market grows explosively, there exists a large difference of utilization of the smart phone between an usual people and the visually impaired people. In this paper, We propose the character and numer ic input system based on the low cost of braille film and braille for the visually impaired people in order to reduce to information literacy gap for the visually impaired people. The proposed system is designed with the braille film and keyboard layout based on the braille character layout. Additionally, the telephone, the SMS, the abbreviated dial and location transfer function for the emergency situation are designed. The character which inputs using the braille keyboard can be automatically copied in the clip board and used in the other applications. Hence, the visually impaired people can easily use the smart phone for getting plentiful information on the device and network.

  • In the past 5 years, Chinese film market has witnessed a great development, with the film and animation box hitting records highs. At the same time, TV contents become more and more diverse, and the widespread use of smart phones makes Internet the new popular media today. On this occasion, domestic animation production is growing year by year because of people's growing demand for animation. And the volume of introduced foreign animations is growing as well. But under the same conditions, domestic animation shows obvious lack of competiveness. Chinese traditional stories have rich contents, providing a large amount of animation material. But most animations based on theses contents cannot arouse audiences' interests. This paper mainly analyzes the development situation of traditional story-based Chinese animation whose content is single and low-aged, and then put forward a new solution for Chinese animation development, which is, adding horror elements to traditional stories. And finally, through analyzing four horror animations , this paper further discusses the implementation possibility of this idea.

Development of Heat Flux Sensor Using Adhesive Type Film Gauge for Measuring Temperature (접착형 박막 온도측정 게이지식 열전대센서의 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this study on the development of the heat flux sensor, unlike the common heat-flux sensor with thermocouple, the heat-treated adhesive-tupe film nickel-gauge was used in measuring temperature. The proposed its Ni-gauge is bound to be compatible with platinum gauge(Pt-Gauge) in its linearity. It is also considered to be cheap in economical sense. In the evaluation of it's performance, the numerical analysis is essential to investigate charateristics of proper sensor and the adequate analsis is depended upon boundary conditions and actual conditions. There are many types of heat flux sensor in the market, and adhexive type flux sensor is most common. In the present investigation, this type of heat flux sensor had been chosen. The figure of the sensor under consideration is an open cavity type, which is calculated numerically by SIMPLER algorithm. The temperature distributions of the sensor predicted by numerical calculation for steady and unsteady states are able to give the chacteristics of the adhesive type heat flux sensor(1st heat flux sensor) according to the heat flux. It means that the outvoltage, the sensitivity, and the performances of responsibility could be evaluated as a result. Through this analysis improved heat flux sensor(2nd heat flux sensor) could be predicted with the reflection of proper operating temperature($150^{\circ}C$) of the Ni-gauge.
