잔골재가 콘크리트의 블리딩에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Fine Aggregate on the Bleeding of Concrete)

  • This paper investigates the influence of fine aggregates on bleeding of concrete. According to test results, as water content decreases, crushed sand content increases, fluidity shows decline tendency. As for aggregates kinds, concrete using sea sand shows most fluidity loss among the tested results. Compressive strength gains highly when crushed sand is used. As for bleeding of concrete, bleeding shows decline tendency because of increasing in powder content and filling effect of voids. Bleeding amount is in a decreasing order of magnitude for concretes made with the following aggregates: sea sand, river sand, and crushed sand. Accordingly, crushed sand mixed with river sand and sea sand with certain proportion enable to reduce bleeding and enhance strength.

  • The Core-Shift is often generated on injection mold which have thin and long core. And Core-Shift brings out problems for thickness variation and product ejecting process. In this study, analysis of Core-Shift was performed according to change of materials of core(steel P-20, Be-Cu) and various polymers(PP, PC) by using MoldFolw MPI 6.1 which is commercial injection molding analysis program. As the results of analysis, the magnitude of Core-Shift was increased as being use polymer had lower fluidity and lower rigidity core. In the future, we will study the relationship between amount of Core-Shift and ejecting force.

  • In this study, 20 types of samples were prepared by mixing different kinds of inorganic materials to develop insulation materials for epoxy - based GIS substation equipment used under high voltage environmentally friendly insulation gas. One of the electrical characteristics, AC insulation breakdown experiment was performed. As mixing ratio of mixed heterogeneous inorganic materials, the dielectric breakdown strength was increased with increasing filler ratio of micro silica, micro silica : micro Alumina, 1:9, 3:7, 5:5, 7:3, 9:1, and decreased as the filling amount of micro alumina increased. The AC insulation breakdown characteristics were the best when the composition ratio was 9:1. The higher the content of silica, the better the interfacial properties, and the larger the alumina content ratio, the worse the interfacial properties.

  • The compression of video for both full HD and UHD requires the inclusion of extra vertical lines to every video frame, named as the DTV essential hidden area (DEHA), for the effective functioning of the MPEG-2/4/H encoder, stream, and decoder. However, while the encoding/decoding process is dependent on the DEHA, the DEHA is conventionally viewed as a redundancy in terms of channel utilization or storage efficiency. This paper proposes a block mode DEHA method to more effectively utilize the DEHA. Partitioning video block images and then evenly filling the representative DEHA macroblocks with the average DC coefficient of the active video macroblock can minimize the amount of DEHA data entering the compressed video stream. Theoretically, this process results in smaller DEHA data entering the video stream. Experimental testing of the proposed block mode DEHA method revealed a slight improvement in the quality of the active video. Outside of this technological improvement to video quality, the attractiveness of the proposed DEHA method is also heightened by the ease that it can be implemented with existing video encoders.

  • This experimental study was performed to produce high flowing nomal strength concrete using viscosity agent. Test variables were selected to the viscosity agent contents with 4 levels, the cement contents with 5 levels and the coarse aggregate contents with 3 levels, etc. As a result, the high flowing and filling properties of concrete were obtatined by proper amount of viscosity agent and superplasticizer in the normal strength concrete. For the concrete mix proportions, it was found that unit weight of cement was more than 364kg/㎥ and volume of coarse aggregate was less than $280\ell/\textrm{m}^3$ in this study.

  • This paper describes a technique to suppress vibrations of structure under excitation by attaching the hollow rotor partially filled with liquid. The influence of the amount of liquid, number of fins and their widths on absorbing vibration is investigated. The results of experiments are summarized as follows: 1. The effect on suppressing vibration at filling ratio, H over bar = 0.54 is greatest. 2. The viscosity of liquid hardly influence on suppressing vibration. 3. The rotor fitted with two pins having width of pin =(D-$D_f$)/4 is effective generally. 4. The vibration damping effect of the axial fins is greater than that of radial fins.

  • In this paper, we demonstrate the deformation of TFT-LCD panel using numerical analysis based on the finite element method. To make better uniform cell gap and less stress at a photo-definable spacer (spacer), we have investigated process and design factors such as amount of liquid crystal (LC), spacer density, area, height, and material property. Furthermore we optimized design factors and achieved the robust design through the simulation.

Burley 잎담배 Toast조건의 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the optimization of boasting condition In Burley tobacco)

  • The optimal condition was investigated to make for good quality of Burley tobacco during the toasting. A complete factorial design (3$\times$3) and rotatable central composite design were used in this study. Based on the results obtained, it would be possible that 1) methyl-pyrazine other than pyrazine compounds is assumed to play an important role in the improvement of smoke taste. 2) filling value of Burley 21 leaf can be increased by 5~10 % 3) fragility index can be increased by about 5%. 4) total volatile base can also be reduced by about 10% and 5) the aroma and favorable taste of the Burley tobacco can be Improved by toe optimization the amount of sugar added and the toasting time and temperature.

  • The copper deposits in Goseong district, Gyeongnam area are fissure filled copper veins emplaced on Cretaceous Goseong formation and andesitic rocks. Occurrence of ore veins and mineral paragenesis suggest a division of the hydrothermal mineralization into three stages: stage 1, deposition of arsenopyrite, pyrite, quartz, chlorite and epidote; stageII, deposition of pyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite, electrum, pyrargyrite, tetrahedrite, silver sulfosalt minerals, quartz, chlorite, sericite and miner amount of calcite; stage III, formation of barren calcite veins. Filling temperature of fluid inclusions in quartz of stage II, range from 260 to 360 C and salinities from 6.2 to 13.6 weight percent NaCi equivalent.

  • This paper describes the mode of occurrence and mineralogical properties of electrum from the Namseong Gold-Silver deposits, for the purpose of obtaining data on the characteristics of the ore deposits and the behavior of gold and silver during the mineralization. The gangue minerals are quartz, calcite, fluorite. Ore minerals are mainly composed of pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and galena with minor amount of argentite, electrum, pyrargyrite, native silver and unidenfied mineral(Cu-Fe-Ag-S series). Three stage of mineralization recognized are, from early to later, (I) pyrite-electrum stage (II) sphalerite-chalcopyrite-galena-argentite-electrum stage (III) sulfosalts stage. The filling temperature of fluid inclusions in quartz ranges from $225^{\circ}$ to $335^{\circ}C$. The value of sulfur fugacity estimated by means of electrum-tarnish method ranges from $10^{-11.5}$ to $10^{-14}$ atm. The compositional heterogeneity within a single grain with respect to gold concentration is common in the Namseong electrums Chemical composition of electrum ranges generally between 25~45 atom% Au. Its gold content decreases in late stages of mineralization.
