Effect of Active layer (P3HT:PCBM) Thickness on the Performance of Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells (Active layer (P3HT:PCBM) 두께에 따른 유기물 태양전지의 제작 및 특성 분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 전자 주개 물질(electron donor)인 regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)와 전자 받개 물질(electron acceptor)인 phenyl-$C_{61}$-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM)을 혼합한 복합 박막 구조(Bulk Heterojunction)를 이용하여 태양전지를 제작하고 광활성층(Active layer)의 두께를 변화시키면서 광학적 특성 및 전기적 특성에 대해 분석하였다. 광활성층의 두께가 두꺼워 질수록 광흡수율이 높기 때문에 태양전지의 효율이 증가하여 200nm정도의 두께에서 가장 좋은 특성을 보였으며, 그 이상의 두께에서는 광흡수율이 높더라도 직렬저항(Series resistance)의 증가로 개방 회로 전압이 감소하는 것을 볼 수 있었으며, 최적화된 광활성층의 두께(190nm)에서 개방 회로 전압($V_{oc}$)은 0.6V, 단락 회로 전류($J_{sc}$)는 8.29mA, Fill factor(FF)는 0.59, 전력변환효율($\eta$)은 2.94%였다.

The Related Factors to Workplace Bullying in Nursing: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (간호사간 직장 내 괴롭힘 관련변인에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰과 메타분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review and identify factors relevant to workplace bullying in nursing. Methods: Twenty-three studies that met the criteria were selected from a sample of twenty-six studies. These articles were retrieved from a central literature databases (N=13,241). The total correlational effect size (ESr) for each related factor was calculated from Fisher's Zr. A funnel plot inspection (similar to scatter plot) with a trim-and-fill method was used to assess the publication bias of the meta-analyzed studies. Results: From the systematic review, fifty-one factors were identified as having an influencing effect. Fourteen factors (five individual and nine organizational factors) were eligible for meta-analysis. The individual factors included, self-esteem (ESr=-.31), psychological capital (ESr=-.26), and marital status (ESr=-.06) which were significantly correlated with workplace bullying. Organizational factors included, organizational tolerance (ESr=.48), supervisor incivility (ESr=.47), job stress (ESr=.46), group morale (ESr=-.36), group support (ESr=-.35), supervisor leadership (ESr=-.35), group identity (ESr=-.33), and structural empowerment (ESr=-.27). These factors were significantly correlated with workplace bullying. There were no publication biases except for both individual and organizational factors. Conclusion: Organizational factors have more of an greater impact than individual factors on workplace bullying. The results of this study support the need for intervention at the organizational level.

Global Sex Differences in Cancer Mortality with Age and Country Specific Characteristics

  • Background: The cancer research literature suggests that women, especially premenopausal women, have lower cancer mortality rates than men. However, it is unclear if that is true for populations at all age levels in all countries and what factors affect such sex differences. This paper attempts to fill that gap. Materials and Methods: Sex- and country-specific cancer mortality data were statistically analyzed with particular attention to geographic, social, and economic factors that may affect the sex differences. Results: The sex differences were age and country specific, rather than universal. Premenopausal women actually tend to have a disadvantage compared to men or postmenopausal women. Male cancer mortality appears to be the affecting factor in explaining variations in sex differences. Latitude of residence and literacy rate are the affecting factors in cancer mortality and sex differences. African and Latin American countries tend to have a female disadvantage, while East Asian and Eastern European countries are more likely to have a female advantage. Conclusions: The findings challenge the cancer mortality literature and indicate that the sex differences and their possible causes are more complicated than the current literature suggests. They also highlight the urgency of adapting age- and country- specific health systems and policies to better meet the needs of younger women.

  • 칼코젠계 태양전지의 광흡수층으로 사용되는 CuInSe2은 직접천이형 반도체로 광흡수계수가 $1{\times}105cm-1$로 매우 높고, 전기광학적 안정성이 우수하여 실리콘 결정질 태양전지를 대체할 고효율 태양전지로 각광받고 있다. 광흡수층의 밴드갭 에너지가 증가하면 태양전지의 개방전압(Voc)이 증가하여 광변환 효율을 향상시킬 수 있으므로, CuInSe2에서 In의 일부를 Ga으로 치환하여 에너지 밴드갭의 변화를 주는 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 화합물내의 Ga 조성비가 증가하면 단락전류(Jsc), 충진률(fill factor)이 낮아져 태양전지 효율을 저하시키게 되므로 CIGS 박막의 적절한 화합물 조성비를 갖도록 최적조건을 확립하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 실험에서는 광흡수층 형성을 위해 Sputtering법으로 금속 전구체를 증착하고, 고온에서 셀렌화 열처리를 수행하는 Sequential process(2단계 증착법)를 이용하였다. soda-lime glass 기판에 Back contact으로 Mo를 증착하고, 1단계로 CuIn0.7Ga0.3 조성비의 타겟을 이용하여 Sputtering법으로 $0.5{\sim}2{\mu}m$ 두께의 CIG 전구체를 증착하였다. 2단계로 CIG 전구체의 셀렌화열처리를 통하여 CIGS 화합물 구조의 박막을 형성시켰다. 이때 형성된 CIGS 화합물 박막의 두께는 동일하게 함으로써, 열처리온도에 의한 박막의 구조변화를 비교하였다. 증착된 CIGS 박막은 고온 엑스선회절분석을 통해 증착 두께와 온도 변화에 따른 CIGS 층의 구조 변화를 확인하고, 동일한 증착조건으로 Buffer layer, Window layer, Grid 전극을 형성하여 태양전지셀 특성을 평가함으로써 CIGS 태양전지 광흡수층의 결정구조에 따른 광변환 효율을 비교하였다.

  • Bi-layer Mo films were deposited on sodalime glass substrates using DC magnetron sputtering. As the gas pressure and power density, the resistivity varied from $1.5{\times}10^{-5}$ to $4.97{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$. Furthermore, stress direction yielded compressive-to-tensile transition stress curves. The microstructure of the compressive stress films which had poor adhesion consists of tightly packed columns, but of the tensile-stressed films had less dense structure. Under all gas pressure conditions, Mo films exhibited distinctly increasing optical reflection with decreasing gas pressure. The expansion of (110) peak width with the gas pressure meant the worse crystalline growth. Also, The highest efficiency was 15.2% on 0.2 $cm^2$. The fill factor, open circuit voltage and short circuit current were 63 %, 570 m V and 42.6 $mA/cm^2$ respectively.

  • Pt counter electrode based on flexible metal for dye-sensitized solar cells(DSCs) has been investigated. Photovoltaic structures on lightweight substrates have several advantages over the heavy glass-based structures in both terrestrial and space applications. Cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy were used to investigate electrochemical properties of Pt counter electrode both FTO glass and SUS sheet substrate. The DSCs composed of the counter electrode based on a stainless steel substrate has obtained conversion efficiencies comparable to that based on the conducting glass. The counter electrode based on the stainless steel substrate has the merit of improving the fill factor and conversion efficiency of the DSCs by reducing its internal resistance.

The Effect of the Consumer Lifestyle on Wine Purchase Behavior

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate domestic wine consumption behavior and make future sales strategies and marketing plans. Research design, data, and methodology - To achieve the purpose of the study, the surveys were conducted targeting 350 wine customers in Jeju and Seoul. 331 responses were collected, and out of them, 21 responses were deleted because they lacked the proper information fill in. A descriptive statistical analysis was applied to the remaining 310 responses. The statistical techniques used for carrying out hypothesis-testing are EFA_(exploratory factor analysis), multiple-regression analysis, and moderating effect in SPSS 18.0. Results - The results indicate that fashion oriented, sociality aspiration and rationality seeking lifestyles had significant influence upon internal attributes. However, well-being oriented and having enjoyment oriented lifestyle had no significant influence upon internal attributes. Furthermore, all the types of lifestyles except social aspiration lifestyles had a positive influence upon external attributes, whereas internal or external attributes had positive influence on customer satisfaction. Conclusions - The consumers who experienced wine purchases think wine selection attributes differ before and after experiencing wine drinking, and it shows that the circumstantial variables as purchase situations prove to be important predicted variables in the behavior field of wine consumers. It implies appropriate wine education according to the consuming trend about wine for wine consumers are needed.

  • The lattice mismatch between ZnS and Si is negligible because of its value being 0.39%. In this study, $ZnS/_{(P)}Si$ solar cell were fabricated as a layer of ZnS is epitaxially grown on a silicon substrate by PVD method and its photovoltaic properties were measured and discussed. The heat treatment was done after deposition. As the temperature increased up to a certain value, the film has better perfection in crystal structure and electrical characteristics. Measurments of the change that occur in the ZnS films were made by SEM., X-ray diffraction. The optimal thickness of film showned $0.6{\mu}m$, being measured by SEM. The great improvement of the grain growth ZnS film came out after heat-treatment. The result obtained from the $ZnS/_{(P)}Si$ solar cell as follows:short circuit current; $I_{sc}=54mA/cm^2$,open voltage; $V_{oc}=400mV$, fill factor FF=0.72, conversion efficiency; ${\eta}=15.6%$ under the irradiation of 100 ($mW/cm^2$) focused by solar energy. And these are discussed in comparison with other kinds.

  • We studied the performance of CdSe nanoparticle in the active layer of organic photovoltaics (OPVs) by changing concentration of the CdSe NPs in the P3HT:PCBM layer. We observed that the absorption peak value gradually increases with the increasing amount of CdSe NPs at 600nm wave length. However, the electrical properties of OPVs correspond less with the tendency of UV/visible result. The highest performance was shown with 10% of CdSe NPs. The device performance decreased after 10% of CdSe NPs, this shows the dependencies of performanc of hybrid solar cells on the CdSe NPs loading amount. The resulting OPVs with 10 % of CdSe NPs show a short circuit current density ($J_{sc}$) of $6.96mA/cm^2$, open circuit voltage ($V_{oc}$) of 0.61V, fill factor (FF) of 0.59, and power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 2.53% under AM 1.5 ($100mW/cm^2$).

  • We report on a new patterning technique for organic functional materials applicable to organic photovoltacis (OPVs). The unconventioal patterning technique, $O_2$ plsama-etching selectively perfluoro-alkyl fluorosilanes, is used for producing a bulk-heterojunction active layer with poly(3-hexylthiophene) as the electron donor and [6,6]-phenyl-$C_{61}$ butyric acid methyl ester as the electron acceptor. The patterning with reduced leakage path and parasitic capacitance suggests a way for fabrication of OPVs with higher energy conversion efficiency.
