최근 개인자료의 유출 및 불법적인 사용이 사회적으로 큰 이슈가 되고 있어 개인의 정보보호 및 신분확인에 대한 요구가 증가하게 되었다. 이로 인하여 최근 안전한 데이터 전송과 거래를 위해 스마트카드의 이용이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 특히 자바카드는 스마트카드 플랫폼에 자바의 기술을 접목시킨 것으로 양방향 통신, 정보의 보호기능 등을 수행할 수 있으며, 개인을 확인할 수 있고 이동성이 뛰어나며 복제가 어렵고 암호 알고리즘을 카드 내부에서 수행하여 보안상 매우 좋은 이점을 지니고 있어 스마트카드에서 필요로 하고 있는 다양한 서비스의 내용을 충분히 안정적으로 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 다양한 응용분야에 이용되는 자바카드의 보안성을 높이기 위하여 기존의 단순한 사용자 인증에 사용되는 PIN정보와 생체정보인 사인데이터를 함께 이용한다. 또한 개인에 따른 정보를 저장하는 방법과 이 정보를 접근하기 위하여 데이터를 사용하는 사용자간의 접근을 제한하기 위한 사용자의 접근권한을 설계하였다. 이와 같은 Applet을 설계함으로써 개인정보의 보다 안전하고 신뢰성을 보장하고 개인의 불법적인 유출 및 도용의 완벽한 제어가 될 것으로 기대된다.

A wind turbine monitoring system is essential equipment fur the performance evaluation and mechanical load analysis of a wind turbine. A monitoring system using LabVIEW is developed in this study. This system monitors signals from a meteorological mast, wind turbine generator, and tower. The discrete signals which are sampled at t Hz are automatically saved on a data file in the unit of a day. Besides these basic functions, the developed monitoring system has the other several capabilities. One of them is the information access from a remote PC through the internet. A vision image of the test site area and data files that are produced by LabVIBW software can be uploaded to the main computer located in a remote site. An emergency backup system using UPS fur the power loss on the monitoring HW is also prepared, A detail explanation for the developed wind turbine monitoring system is presented in this study.

데이터와 파일의 개수가 증가함에 따라 효율적인 파일 검색 기법에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 현재까지 제안된 파일 탐색 기법은 탐색 시간이 매우 오래 걸리거나, 미리 인덱싱 과정을 거쳐야 하기 때문에 사용자가 원하는 시점에 빠르고 효율적인 파일 탐색을 제공하기 어렵다는 단점을 지닌다. 본 논문에서는 디스크의 메타 데이터 영역을 직접 접근함으로써 고속의 파일 검색을 가능하게 해주는 효율적인 검색 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 기법은 메타 데이터가 서로 비슷한 영역에 위치한다는 파일 시스템의 특징을 활용함으로써 디스크 내의 데이터를 고속으로 탐색하고, 이를 DB로 구성함으로써 실시간 검색을 지원한다. 또한 파일 시스템 내의 변경 사항을 빠르게 추적하여 DB를 업데이트 할 수 있다는 장점을 지닌다. 본 논문에서 제안한 검색 기법을 다수의 시스템에서 평가한 결과 기존의 기법 대비 약 20~50배의 탐색 시간 향상과 10초 미만에 실시간 검색이 가능한 상태를 구성 할 수 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다.

We design a filtering management scheme with synchronization function under a realtime RFID middleware system for larger-scale data processing. The application interface(AI) is to support a various access protocol, HTTP, XML, JMS, and SOAP for the RFID applications. Generally, the synchronization problem is occurred in multiple accessing of clients for single filtering file. In this paper, we implement a filtering management scheme supporting the synchronization using the filter management process, and then demonstrate the RFID middleware filtering scheme.

This article is about using information technology to apply with water loss inspection system in District Metering Area (DMA). Inspector can check Flow rate and Minimum Night Flow; NMF via Smart Phone or PDA include sending SMS Alert in case the Pressure, Flow rate and NMF is over the range of controlling. This will be used as equipment to implement water loss in international proactive and can keep on water loss reduction more efficiency. The system consists of Data Logger which collects data of Flow rate from DMA Master Meter. PC is Wap Server which dial via modem in order to get data through FTP Protocal that will convert text file to Microsoft Access Database. Wappage will use xhtml language to show database on Wapbrowser and can show the result on Smart Phone or PDA by graph and table for system analysis.

Presented in this Paper is a Micro Machining Service .(MIMS) based on the World Wide Web technologies. In order to ensure easy access to the service, the web browsers are used as the user interface. The pan geometry as an STL file is uploaded with process parameter for 3-axis CNC milling. Depending on the predefined user level, novice or expert, the user interface requires different parameters for process planning. An STL-based CAM resides in the server and automatically provides NC codes upon user's request. Tool-paths for scanning and pencil-cut, which are interference-free and precise, are created by the curve-based polyhedral machining method. A couple of sample parts were fabricated by a micro endmill with 127 fm diameter. From the tests, the parts fabricated by scanning followed by pencil-cut resulted in less error(within 2%) than the parts machined only by scanning tool-path.

In this paper, it is focused on the design of the FEP system that executes the access control programs instead of the hos processor. And so the FEP system improves the network flexibility and redues the installation costs of network. The design criterion of the FEP system is based on the ISDN construction which presents the information channel in thr future information society. The proposed hardwares and transmission softwares use the basic transmission rate of 64Kbps, and the contents of file service throuth this FEP system are listed by FTAM services.

Due to the emerging of high-speed network, lots of interests of access to remote data have increased. Those interests motivate using of Cooperative Caching that uses remote cache like local cache by sharing other clients' cache. The conventional algorithm like GMS(Global Memory Service) has some disadvantages that occurred bottleneck and decreasing performance because of exchanges of many messages to server or manager. On the other hand, Hint-based algorithm resolves a GMS's server bottleneck as each client has hint information of all blocks. But Hint-based algorithm also causes some problems such as inaccurate information in it, if it has too old hint information. In this paper, we offer the policy that supplement bottleneck and inaccuracy； by using file identifier that can search for the lookup table and by exchanging oldest block information between each client periodically.

Bluetooth wireless technology is a publicly available specification proposed for Radio Frequency (RF) communication for short-range and point-to-multipoint voice and data transfer. It operates in the 2.4GHz ISM(Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band and offers the potential for low-cost, broadband wireless access for various mobile and portable devices at range of about 10 meters. In this paper, we describe the structure and the test results of the bluetooth baseband module we have developed. This module has a UART interface for HCI and a audio codec for voice. The interface between controller and this module supports common control interface. An FPGA implementation of this module is tested for file and bit-stream transfers between PCs.

Authority control enables us to retrieve information accurately by coordination and cross reference of headings. It is considered that authority control is needed in machine readable catalogs as well as in conventional catalogs. Taylor, Maxwell and Frost divided automated authority control systems into major vendor and network systems then available into two groups. The first group was defined as a system that processes a library's machine readable catalogs on the tape against an automated authority file. The second group offers an online access to catalogs and authority records. This group was further subdivided into linked or integrated systems and unlinked systems. If authority work is shared with many libraries the costs can be considerably reduced and the quality of catalog data base can be controled by standardization of headings used in participating libraries. The NACO is a project for sharing of authority records started in 1977 by L.C. And LSP furthers the ability to share authority records. A project as the NACO is necessary not only in America but also in the other countries The responsible organizations for national bibliographies of the countries must take much interest in these matters.
