We consider Jacobi filds as the first derivatives for ${\varepsilon}$, the energy of harmonic extensions, in a given manifold. In this paper we see that the Jacobi fild is bounded by the given boundary map. Here we give no restriction concerned with the curvature for the given manifold.

To investigate edge vegetation struxture and species in Odaesan National park, fild survey was excuted July 1-4, 1995 and the results were as follows. Species compasition of edge(0~10m) was dissimilar to that of forest interior(50m~60m) at (Mt.)Odaesan valley. Species diversity indices, number of species, crown coverage and number of individuals were decreased axxording to distance from edge to forest interior. Weigela subsessilis was appeared to be a competitive species at forest edge in temperate forest and edge species appeared only in Odaesan National Park were Clematis heracleaefolia and Spiraea blumei.

This paper presents vibration and noise control of flexible structures using squeeze mode electro-rheological mounts. After verifying that the damping force of the ER mount can be controlled by the intensity of the electric fild, two different types of ER squeeze mounts have been devised. Firstly, a small size ER mount to support 3 kg is manufactured and applied to the frame structure to control the vibration. An optimal controller which consists of the velocity and the transmitted force feedback signals is designed and implemented to attenuate both the vibration and the transmitted forces. Secondly, a large size of ER mount to support 200 kg is devised and applied to the shell structure to reduce the radiated noise. Dynamic modeling and controller design are undertaken in order to evaluate noise control performance as well as isolation performance of the transmitted force. The radiated noise from the cylindrical shell is calculated by SYSNOISE using forces which are transmitted to the cylindrical shell through two-stage mounting system.

This paper presents the detecting algorithm of inrush current which causes protective equipment to maloperate in energizing a power distribution line. This detecting algorithm uses the method which extracts the decay component and energy of 2nd harmonics by Prony Spectral Estimation Method existed AR model to new ARMA model. In this paper, the inrush currents are obtained by model simulations and fild tests. By applying these data to the detecting algorithm, it has been confirmed to discriminate inrush currents from fault currents.

An electroless plating both for normal orientation of HCP-structure of Co-P to the film plane was developed. An ammonical succinate-citrate bath containg MnSo4, NiSO4 was studied Ni was codeposited into the films in order to decrease the saturation magentization (MS) since low Ms is necessary to decrease the magentizing fild. Mn was also codeposited to increase perpendicular orentaon of Co-P film. Effects on film composition and magnetic properties were studid in connection with follwing four factors such as concentration of NiSo4 and MnSo4, bath temp and pH.

Nanocrystalline CoFeHfO thin films have been fabricated by RF sputtering method. It is shown that the CoFeHfO thin films possess not only high electrical resistivity but also large saturation magnetization and anisotropy field. Among the composition investigated, $Co_{53}FE_{22}Hf_{10}O_{15}$ thin film is observed to exhibit good soft magnetic properties: coercivity ($H_{c}$) of 0.18 Oe; anisotropy fild ($H_{k}$) of 49.92 Oe; saturation magnetization ($4{\Pi}M_{s}$) of 15.5 kG. The frequency response of permeability of the film is excellent. The excellent magnetic properties of this film in addition of an extremely high electrical resistivity (r) of $185\;{\mu}cm$ make it ideal for uses in high-frequency applications of micromagnetic devices. It is the formation of a peculiar microstructure that resulted in the superior properties of this film.

The purpose of this study is to define the fundamentals of one symbolic concept, so calles vestment-sign, based on the logical relationship of sign system about the trichotomy by charles S. Peice's sign concept for the communication system of meaning in the non-linguistic image domain. To prove the argument of vestment-sign, I selected 3 type of vestment language by styliste, Elsa Schiaparel-li. The third image vestmental chosen here, titled“Larme-Illusion(1938)”,printed by Salvad-or Dali will produce one symbolic proposition as a logical result which is generated and developed through the interpretation of other images. First of all the text, which is manifested by Elsa Schiaparelli's first image vestmental, tit-led“Notation Musical(1937)”and is symbolized as one category in the representation of the form, is regarded symbolic and metaphorical from a standpoint that the title and the meaning is connected to the form. The second image vestment, titled“Ruches Noirs(1938)”represents externally splendid feminity man-ifested by the symbolic and metaphorical expression. And the purity of sensitivity aiming to humanity in the detail of the poetic feeling of naturalism makes us imagine the battle fild of furious sensitivity. Like as the result of the battle, the third image stimulated our eyesight with the“absence”of dressing function. The proposition of the text,《Death》which the third image delivers, constructs sign system to bring up a meaning with the disappearance of physical“signifier”. This establishment of the symbolic concept presents the etymological authority of symbol generation called“Design”.

The study in the fild of medical instrument has been out of the interest by any of the life scientist in Korea. Especially, the recent developments in the medical electromics are remarkable one. Authors planned this study to ascertain the possibility of setting up the thermister thermometer with available accessories of demestic prouducts including some specific foreign assembly parts. By proper use of the thermister as one of the wheatstone bridge, we could detect tile resistance variations due to the environmental temperature variace. The intensive care for the bridge circuit and compensation scheme was required. The calibration procedure adopted here makes it possible to read the current as the temperature. The temperature range was determined by the examination and construction of the graph of the resistance-temperature variation. The determination of electric current, available ambient-temperature, the reduction of excessive current and self-heating of the thermister were made. Renovation in response-velocity was under taken too. This electronic thermometer was designed and assembled by the circuitry developed in accordance with the maximum availability of domestic products with some foreign-made parts. The result of our experiment showed very stable function and proved to be the most promissing item in the actual application as long as the thermistor thermister is concerned.

In the measurement of proton gyromagnetic ratio by a low field cechnique, the compensation of earth's field is required to keep a zero-field space. The constant earth's fild is compensated by a cur-rent flowing through a Helmholtz coil, whereas small time-varying component is compensated automatically by a closed loop of feedback system. A feedback amplifier, and two three-dimensional Helmholtz coils having the same coil constant have been constructed in order to compensate the earth's field. field. Preliminary test performed at the ordinary laboratory showed that the time-vary-ing field of ${\pm}100nT$ and the constant field have been reduced to the level of ${\pm}10nT$ using the compensating system.

As Fashion becomes more important in the field of fashion styling and fashion stylists' roles, there has been a strong demand for more unique and stylish fashion. Under these circumstances, the fashion stylist has upgraded the fashion industry as an expert in various fields. The fashion stylist's roles include creation of a fashion image depending on circumstances, improvement of contributionsto product awareness and advertisements by inspiring curiosity and interest from customers and promotion of purchase behaviors. In addition, the fashion stylist should be able to create appropriate attire and hairdos for models in fashion magazines depending on the theme and concept of the fashion and have keen insight, fashion sense and appropriate analyzing and planning skills to follow current trends. This study has investigatedthe field of fashion styling, which has emerged recently and fashion stylists' roles. It appears that fashion styling could develop into a high-growth, high value-added industry as a professional occupation that helps customers have an appropriate fashion sense.
