New design of a bevameter was attempted to that it can be not only attached to and powered by the tractor hydraulic control system, but is equipped with a data acquisition system using a microcomputer. Results of field tests of the new design showed that it has a good performance and practical applicability to the measurements of pressure-sinkage and shear stress-displacement relations from which toil parameters of the Bekker theory can be evaluated.

The frequency dependence of complex permeability for various NiCuZn ferrites was investigated. The variation of complex permeability for NiCuZn ferrites can be presented as a form of a semi-circle, so called the Cole-Cole plot, and the relaxation phenomena were explained with various shapes of the plots. The relaxation time $\Upsilon$ was calculated from $f_rx$, which is a relaxation frequency at ${\mu"}_{max}$. Relations between anisotropy field $H_A$ and relaxation time $\Upsilon$, initial permeability $\mu_i$ and $H_A$ were plotted to identify the frequency dependence of complex permeability.lity.

The founder of TRIZ, Genrich Altshuller, discovered forty patterns of inventive solutions, known as 40 Inventive Principles, extracting them from tens of thousands of technical patents. It was found further that 40 Inventive Principles are applicable not only for every technical field, but also for non-technical spheres - finance, business, management, marketing, social relations, education and etc. This paper extends the area of reliability through TRIZ. Enclosed are several examples how 40 Inventive Principles have been used in the reliability enhancement in the literature.

The manifold $^*g-ESX_n$ is a generalized n-dimensional Riemannian manifold on which the differential geometric structure is imposed by the unified field tensor $^*g^{{\lambda}{\nu}}$ through the ES-connection which is both Einstein and semi-symmetric. The purpose of the present paper is to study the algebraic geometric structures of 3-dimensional $^*g-ESX_3$. Particularly, in 3-dimensional $^*g-ESX_3$, we derive a new set of powerful recurrence relations in the first class.

To achieve efficient field formulations and fast numerical computations, the reciprocal relations and equivalence between tangential and normal boundary conditions for electromagnetic fields are discussed in terms of the Maxwell's differential equations. Using the equivalence of each boundary condition, we propose the six essential boundary conditions, which may be applicable to matching electromagnetic discontinuities to efficiently design RF devices. In order to verify our approach, the reflection characteristics of a rectangular waveguide step are compared with respect to six essential boundary conditions.

In this paper, we investigate the properties of the vectors $X_{\lambda}$, $S_{\lambda}$ and $U_{\lambda}$ of $g-ESX_n$, with main emphasis on the derivation of several useful generalized identities involving it.

Looking beyond the assumptions and arguments of commercial liberalism, which sees economic interdependence and cooperation as fostering peace, this paper demonstrates that peace as an ideal can be found in various theories of international politics. The author finds the commercial liberal perspective to peace to be too narrow to explain the opportunities and challenges posed along the Silk Road and proposes to look at the peace narrative on the Silk Road through the lens of other approaches to peace, including the more interdisciplinary field of peace studies, for a more comprehensive picture.

In this note we investigate some properties of ${\beta}$-algebras and further relations with $B$-algebras. Especially, we show that if ($X$, -, +, 0) is a $B^*$-algebra, then ($X$, +) is a semigroup with identity 0. We discuss some constructions of linear ${\beta}$-algebras in a field $K$.

In this paper, we present a cube root algorithm using a recurrence relation. Additionally, we compare the implementations of the Pocklington and $Padr{\acute{o}}-S{\acute{a}}ez$ algorithm with the Adleman-Manders-Miller algorithm. With the recurrence relations, we improve the Pocklington and $Padr{\acute{o}}-S{\acute{a}}ez$ algorithm by using a smaller base for exponentiation. Our method can reduce the average number of ${\mathbb{F}}_q$ multiplications.

The study uses case study to explore the relations between the Living Improvement Project as a cooperative agricultural extension since 1948 and the Rural Tourism Development as a community development since 1992. And this study aims to examine the extension agent's field activity and tourism impacts to be supported by means of government policies during fifty years.
