Purpose: Tinnitus, which is often described as the conscious awareness of a sound without an external auditory stimulus, is one of the most common symptoms in the general population. This study aimed to explore the experiences of individuals living with tinnitus. Methods: In this qualitative exploratory study, data were collected from November 2017 to January 2018 through in-depth individual interviews with 11 tinnitus patients. Verbatim transcripts and field notes were analyzed using content analysis. Results: The extracted content was classified into three core categories of tinnitus experiences: "suffering from constant sound," "being imprisoned surrounded by persistent noise," and "efforts to overcome." Conclusion: This study shows that tinnitus had a severe negative impact on patients' lives. The finding will help healthcare providers understand their patients more deeply.

This study explores the relationship between childhood abuse experiences and subsequent mental disorders in adults, with a particular focus on the moderating role of spiritual well-being. Using self-reported data from 210 graduate students in the Daejeon and Chungcheong regions, the findings demonstrate that spiritual well-being significantly moderate how childhood abuse impacts adult mental health. Specifically, individuals with lower levels of spiritual well-being experience a greater exacerbation of metnal disorders related to past abuse, while those with higher levels show a buffering effect. These results suggest that enhancing spiritual well-being could be a vital component of therapeutic interventions aimed at preventing mental disorders in adults who have experienced childhood abuse. We highlight the potential benefits of incorporating spiritual well-being into mental health strategies and call for additional research to substantiate these findings across broader populations. This unique contribution underscores the importance of considering spiritual factors int the therpeutic process, offering a new and valuable perspective in the field of mental health research.

Purpose: The purpose of the study is to understand the experiences of career exploration among nursing students during their clinical practice and to develop a theoretical framework for the career exploration process. Methods: From February 2 to 28, 2015, data were collected through focus group interviews from 24 participating fourth-year nursing students. The data were analyzed using grounded theory. Results: The central phenomenon of 'confusion between the ideal and the reality of nursing' occurred in contexts for various reasons of choosing one's major, nurses in the ideal, a vague fear of the field, arduous nursing assignments in the field, and severe adversity in the nursing field. Nursing students tried to deal with their confusion by using interaction strategies such as pursuing the intrinsic value of nursing, finding role models, trying to project oneself, and preparing for adapting to reality. The career exploration process in clinical practice was a voyage to discover the authentic nurse of the pre-registration nurse. Conclusion: This result shows that nursing students were to gain confidence in their career choices by finding the value of nursing and interacting with patients. Therefore, opportunities for learning experiences about interaction with patients and various positive experiences in clinical practice should be provided for nursing students.

The field is a good learning environment that offers many opportunities. Status of conducting field trip in the middle and high school was investigated As a result, there was few teachers who disagree that a course in science should include learning in the field. Yet, on practical side, teachers who used to conduct the field trip over once a year in science class appeared to be about 23% only. Most of schools conducting field trips hadn't well-planned program for instructional activities. Many of teachers appealed that they should not get release time for conducting an extended field experiences, and that they could not obtained good information in relation to the contents, the methods and strategies of field activities. It says that a good field trip needs administrative and financial surport, many informations, and the teacher's exertion.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the lived experiences of nursing students' during Leboyer. Methods: Eleven senior nursing students were recruited from April to June in 2010. After completing informed consents, data were collected through in-depth interviews. All interviews were recorded and transcribed verbatim before analyzing. Nursing students were asked about their observational experiences during Leboyer births. Data were analyzed by using the Colaizzi style. Results: Interviews revealed 4 categories and 9 themes. The categories were: 'Respecting and blessing new baby', 'Keeping calm and joyful birth atmosphere', 'Reminding the meaning of nursing', 'Comparing Leboyer and convenience birth and making up their mind'. Conclusion: This study showed that observation of Leboyer birth is helpful for nursing students in order to have positive impression about childbirth. Furthermore, it is suggested that an exploration of the experiences of women and their husbands during Leboyer births would be helpful. On the basis of this study, it is concluded that the Leboyer birth, which focuses on baby's human right, should be introduced women's health nursing field as an effective birth strategy.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to describe work experiences of triage nurses working at emergency departments in Korea. Methods: A qualitative descriptive research method was used. Twenty-one nurses of emergency department participated in the first interview and 16 of them participated in the second interview. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and field notes. Qualitative content analysis was utilized to analyze the data. Results: Forty-eight codes, 12 categories, and six themes emerged from the data analysis: caring on the frontline, burden as an initial evaluator, handling things alone, lack of others' understanding, becoming an expert, and needs for improvement. Participating triage nurses faced many challenges and difficult situations in emergency departments. They felt burden and loneliness as initial evaluator. Also, they felt pride in their work and struggled to become a professional. Conclusion: This study is the first qualitative study that has focused on exploring the experiences of triage nurses in emergency departments in Korea. The results provide description and in-depth understanding of working experiences of triage nurses. The results provide valuable fundamental data for regulation, clinical practice, education, and research for triage nurses in Korean emergency departments.

최근 현장실습교육은 대학생의 직무경험과 경력개발을 하는 대표적인 프로그램이다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 현장실습교육 참여가 기업에서 필요한 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력 및 융합역량을 향상시키는지를 분석하는 것이다. 수도권 A대학교의 재학생 1,887을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며 수집된 자료는 일원분산분석을 통해 비교하였다. 연구결과, 현장실습교육 참여 빈도에 따라 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력 및 융합역량 수준 차이가 유의미하게 있었다. 이는 현장실습교육 참여 빈도가 높을수록 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력 및 융합역량 수준을 향상시키는데 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석된다. 따라서 대학에서는 학생들이 현장을 경험하고 직무능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 현장실습교육을 강화할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 국내 대학에서 증대되는 현장실습교육의 효과를 검증하는 기초자료로 향후 현장실습교육 설계 및 운영에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

Marine aquariums are excellent venues for accomplishing the purpose of marine education, and school field trips conducted at non-formal settings continue to be an important part of K-12 education. The purpose of this study is to provide quantitative data regarding the extent and quality of marine aquarium field trips conducted by elementary school teachers in Seoul. A web survey designed to explore elementary school teachers' experiences and perspectives on aquarium field trips identified several concerns regarding Korean marine aquarium education. Discussions for both Korean aquaria's educational roles and Korean elementary schools' successful field trips to aquaria are presented with the goal of improving the quality of Korean marine aquarium education.

This paper handles main automation facilities and important control issues for hot rolling mill processes. Starting from the general procedures of production cycle, detailed tension control applications are handled based on field experiences and published research papers. Nowadays, quality control and delivery time control for products is becoming more and more important as the client demand is tighter than any other period. In this respect, control technology in steel making process takes very important position. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to share control problems with the people in academic field and by doing so, to get new and striking solution for the problems.
