In modern times independent jaw setting to used equipment as possible make use of asymmetric field. Therefore, the asymmetric field be leave out of consideration wedge factor because of with used wedge for the most of part. These experimentation find out have an effect on the dosimetry of out put compared with of the difference between the symmetric field and asymmetic field for the wedge factor.

  • The theoretical framework of the interaction fields for multiple scales based on field theory is applied to one-dimensional problem mimicking dislocation substructure sensitive intra-granular inhomogeneity evolution under fatigue of Cu-added steels. Three distinct scale levels corresponding respectively to the orders of (A)dislocation substructures, (B)grain size and (C)grain aggregates are set-up based on FE-RKPM (reproducing kernel particle method) based interpolated strain distribution to obtain the incompatibility term in the interaction field. Comparisons between analytical conditions with and without the interaction, and that among different cell size in the scale A are simulated. The effect of interaction field on the B-scale field evolution is extensively examined. Finer and larger fluctuation is demonstrated to be obtained by taking account of the field interactions. Finer cell size exhibits larger field fluctuation whereas the coarse cell size yields negligible interaction effects.

  • In this paper, the design parameters for the magnetic field source at extremely low frequency are proposed. This facility can be used for in vivo experiments with small animals to investigate biological response to the driving magnetic fields. In case that the exposed animals are motionless, the animals may be affected by the directivity of driving field. To avoid this effect, a 2-axis ELF magnetic field driving apparatus was designed, The optimum location and number of turns of each coil were obtained by numerical analysis. Applying these data to the MATLAB code (for computation), the magnetic field distribution was obtained. The calculation result for a well-designed facility showed that the space in which the amplitude of the magnetic field lies within the 95% of the magnetic field distribution was more than 60% of each axis length.

  • It has been known that D.C. breakdown Voltage is lower than A.C. breakdown Voltage in insulatingoil, but there are still many unvivid points at electric conduction in breakdown or under of high electric field. This study measured the electric current-electric field characteristics (I-E characteristics) and the breakdown Voltage under of D.C. electric field of insulating oil using the system of electrodes that are near the Uniform electric field with a result. I can study, electric conduction in area of high electric field depends upon the Schottky effect. The liquidity of breakdown electric field takes place by the local concentration of electric field. The longer gap is and the more electric current is the more breakdown Voltage decreased. There are not almost the change of electric current-electric field characteristics by materials of electrode.

  • The effect of magnetic field was measured on NOx removal for cylinderical-wire plasma reactor with magnetic field applied to electric field vertically. Consumption power increased with increasing discharge voltage. When magnetic field was applied to electric field vertically, consumption power decreased NOx removal rate of plasma reactor with magnetic field were higher, 10-15%, than that of plsama reactor without magnetic field. And NOx removal rate decreased with increasing gas flow rate.

  • This study aims at the phase-field modeling of the phase transformation in graphitization of the cast iron. As the first step, we constructed a phase-field model including the phases with negligible solubility. Under the dilute regular solution approximation, a simplified version of the phase-field model was obtained, which can be used for the phase transformation related with the stoichiometric phases. The results from the numerical calculation of the phase-field model was in good agreement with the exact analytic solution. The compositional shift due to Gibbs-Thomson effect can be reproduced within 0.5% error in the numerical calculation. The interface velocity, whereas, in numerical calculation of phase-field model appeared to be 15% larger than that from the analytic solution. This error is due to the shift of the interface position in phase-field model from the position with ${\phi}=0.5$.

  • Magnetic fields play an important role in supporting molecular clouds against gravitational collapse. The measured magnetic field strengths in molecular clods enable us to see the effect of magnetic fields in star-forming regions. People have used the Chandrasekhar and Fermi (CF) method to estimate magnetic field strength from observational quantities of molecular cloud density, turbulent velocity and polarization angle dispersion. However, previous studies obtained just one magnetic field strength over the quite large region of a molecular cloud by using the CF method. We here suggest a way to estimate magnetic field strength distribution in Orion A region. We used 450 and 850-micron polarization data of James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT). Magnetic field strengths were estimated in two wavelengths with 4 pixel resolutions of 16, 20, 24 and 28". Through statistical analysis, we proved the difference of magnetic field strengths between two wavelengths were caused by the difference of their beam sizes. Additionally, we calculated the radii of curvature of polarization segments to select a best pixel resolution for estimating the magnetic field distribution. The pixel resolution should be larger than a radius of curvature. We selected that 20 or 24" pixel resolutions are good choices towards Orion A region.

  • In the 1990s, South Korea recently launched Space Development and is pushing for a step toward Space. In the Space Launch Vehicle field, the development of Practical satellite type Launch Vehicle (Korea Space Launch Vehicle II) has progressed to the stage of proprietary development, and in the field of Satellite development, they also have a great deal of competitiveness. This study will be a shortcut to rediscovering our potential and looking for breakthroughs by reviewing and re-examining the effects of past Space development.

  • Since PVDF/poly(1,4-butylene adipate) blend shows much lower LCST curve compared with PVDF/PMMA blend, the PVDF/PBA blend can be a good candidate for investigating the effect of the electric field on the phase separation and dissolution behavior of an electro-active polymer and electro-inactive polymer blend. • When a patient takes an MRI scan, the patient has a risk of unexpected injuries due to the intensive electromagnetic (EM) field. Among the injuries, the tissue heating by the time-varying EM field is one of the main issues. Since an implanted artificial structure with a conductive material aggravates the heating effect, lots of studies have been conducted to investigate the effect around the implants. In this review article, a mechanism of RF heating around the implants and related studies are comprehensively investigated.
