The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing hope in female high school students. The participants were 207 female high school students who were selected from 2 schools located at Province J. The data was collected from September, 2 to 24 in 2009, by self report questionnaires. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression, with the SPSS /WIN 13.0 program. Hope in female high school students differed by economic state and school record. Hope in female high school students positively correlated to task difficulty preference, self-regulatory efficacy, self-confidence, teacher support and peer support. Self-regulatory efficacy, peer support and self-confidence accounted for 34.7% of hope in female high school students. This study showed that self-regulatory efficacy, peer support and self-confidence should be considered in developing a practical nursing intervention program to increase hope in female high school students.

First, there was no statistically significant difference in perceived level on distributed leadership according to the background variables of middle school teachers, but on average, it was shown to be high in female teachers, common teachers, over 21-year-career teachers and private school teachers. Second, there was a statistically positive correlation between distributed leadership and teacher efficacy or teaching commitment. Teacher efficacy showed a higher positive correlation than teaching commitment. Third, the study statistically showed that distributed leadership overall has influence on teacher efficacy and teaching commitment(41%). In conclusion, the study revealed a meaningful positive correlation between sub - elements of distributed leadership and sub - elements of teacher efficacy or teaching commitment, specially self-regulating efficacy, confidence of sub-elements of teacher efficacy, and school love of sub - elements of teaching commitment were positively explained according to the sub - elements of middle school teachers' distributed leadership. The explanatory power of the sub-elements of the distributed leadership on the teacher efficacy and the teaching commitment was 27% in the school situation, 28% in the leadership of the school principal, 28% in the leadership of the teacher, and 28% in the teacher interaction.

On the other hand, for male students(N=168), the influence of belief in a just world on school engagement was fully mediated by teacher justice experience and teacher-student relationship in sequence. The results that belief in a just world had different path to school engagement by gender could be helpful to understand beneficial effect of belief in a just world in educational context.

In this study, we analyzed career paths and college life plans of department of chemistry education students in teacher's college examined by their roadmaps. We let students make their roadmaps and analyzed them using the PASW 18 program. There were significant differences on gender in their career paths, learning English, traveling and volunteer activity. Female students for passing the MEET(Medical Education Eligibility Test) or DEET(Dental Education Eligibility Test) were more interested in learning English and traveling than male students. In addition, female students were more interested in volunteer activity. And the lower year students, the more interested in medical paths, learning English, traveling, getting good grades, exchange student program and scholarship. On the other hand the higher year students, the more interested in group study or E-learning. Then significant differences were in learning English, traveling and getting good grades by students's career paths. Students who wish to pass the MEET or DEET were more interested in learning English and getting good grades. Those two factors were essential in passing the MEET or DEET. Students who did not specified their career paths had more traveling plans than other students for setting their directions of careers. These results show that freshman and female students don't recognize the identity of teacher's college correctly. Because of reduction in the number of teacher recruitment according to decrease of students by birth rate drop, students in teacher's college are expected to continue like this trend that students look for other paths. Therefore, it is required career counseling and guidance for students who give priority practical path choices and college life plans over original characteristics of teacher's college. And it should be reconsidered the direction of chemistry education prepared the identity of teacher's college reflected in this actuality.

The KAIE computing system curriculum consists of information equipment, operating systems, and information and communication fields, and covers basic understanding and principles of computer science. The role of the teacher is important to achieve the curriculum achievement standards. Therefore, we examined the factors affecting the teaching capacity of the KAIE computing system curriculum. The results of this study show that the teaching methods of teachers through the literacy of information and communication technology have a statistically significant effect on the teaching competency of the computing system curriculum. Also, male teachers perceived higher perceived factors than female teachers. The differences in teaching competency between teacher groups of less than 5 years and less than 5~10 years were significant. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop collaborate SW teaching strategies and mentor - centered training programs that can strengthen ICT and SW professors' competence and encourage participation of low - career teachers and female teachers.
