  • Objectives: University students's oral health care practice and oral health status are very important. Because its affect their systemic disease, so as to have confidence, and to be eager to study. However if they feel dental fear, they avoid dental treatment. It is miss opportunities of early treatment and prevention treatment and have little effect on dental treatment. The aim of this study was to investigate the factors influencing dental fear of university students to reduce their dental fear. Methods: A total of 366 self-administered questionnaires were collected from university student in Cheon-an. To investigate the factors influencing dental fear of university students, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, linear regression analysis were carried out by using SPSS ver. 18.0 Results: University students feel the most fear of specific dental stimuli. Especially, 'Feeling the needle injected'. University Students felt dental fear in order of 'fear of specific dental stimuli', 'physiologic arousal', 'avoidance fear'. 'Feeling the needle injected', they felt severe dental fear. 'My muscles become tense' of Symptoms they feel dental fear was the most frequent Sex affects avoidance fear, physiologic arousal, fear of specific dental stimuli and dental fear. Femal feel more its than male. The time since last dental clinic visit affects physiologic arousal, fear of specific dental stimuli and dental fear. Group do not visit the dental clinic within a year feel more its than others. Conclusions: To reduce dental fear in university students, it is necessary to make them visit dental clinics frequently and dental staffs consider their sex. Therefore, Department of dental hygiene and dentistry must be added the management of dental fear of the curriculum. In addition, it must be emphasized that to visit dental clinics frequently for university students.

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze X-factor, triple X-factor, and the center of pressure (COP) according to the feel of golf driver swing. Method: For this research, 9 golfers from the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (age: $30.11{\pm}2.98yrs$, height: $178.00{\pm}8.42cm$, weight: $76.22{\pm}8.42kg$, experience: $10.06{\pm}3.11yrs$) were recruited to participate in the experiment. Twelve Motion Analysis Eagle-4 cameras were installed and an image analysis was conducted by using the NLT (non-linear transformation) method, and 2 units of Kistler type 5233A dynamometer were used to measure ground reaction force. The sampling ratio was set at 1000 Hz. The golfers each took 10 swings by using their own driver, and chose the best and worse feel from among 10 shots. A paired-sample t-test was used to analyze the results. Results: In regard to feel, no change in head speed, X-factor, and the triple X-factor's X-factor stretch, hip rise, and head swivel, was observed (p>.05). Regarding ground reaction force, a difference was observed between the top of the backswing (p<.05) and impact (p<.05) in the vertical force of the left foot. For COP, a difference was also observed between the mid backswing (p<.001), late backswing (p<.001), and top of the backswing (p<.05) for the right foot X-axis and Y-axis mid follow through (p<.01). Conclusion: It can be reasoned that, irrespective of feel, the head speed, X-factor and triple X-factor's X-factor stretch, hip rise and head swivel did not have an effect on drive distance for domestic golfers, and the vertical reaction force of the left foot and left-right movement span's pressure dispersal of the right foot had an increasing effect on drive distance.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the actual state for the development of the thermally comfortable uniform for workers on a low temperature storage. Observation, interview and survey were executed focusing on the environment, clothing, and human factors which have effects on the comfort of workers. Of 400 distributed, 253 questionnaires were analyzed through descriptives, frequency, ANOVA, t-test, multi-response analysis, correlation analysis with SPSS 12.0. The results are following. Coming and going between a selling area and cold storages, the workers showed to experience a big temperature gap. They indicated to feel cold on face and hands which were not covered by clothing and have got sick because of low temperature. The workers wanted the uniform made of functional fabrics, especially heat insulation fabrics. Female workers rather than male workers, the older, and the longer their working period were, the more uncomfortable they revealed to feel. The workers who works on the daily products part or mainly on the freezer appeared to feel cold more than any other workers. In conclusion, it was found that the uniform which consider steady state and unsteady state heat transfer together must be developed.

  • Objective : The studies on liver effect in administration of western medicine have been well-established so far, but the studies on liver effect in administration or herbal medicine haven't been made. To make things worse, people who have liver disease generally believe that taking a herbal medicine is not useful to take care or their disease and even think it can cause liver disease. But this belief is not verified at all. And some doctor claim that herbal medicine is good to cure liver disease. So those various assertion makes patients to feel confuse about taking a herbal medicine. so we feel the need to study about how taking herb medicine affect to liver disease patient. Methods : First we chose the 12 patient who seems to have the liver disease on the index of biochemistry test and we administrate the herbal medicine and after several day or weeks we recheck the biochemistry test. Results : Through the this method, we find the positive effect of taking herbal medicine on the patients who have the liver disease. • Despite its superior braking performance to conventional vehicles on test tracks, the performance of the ABS-equipped car seems disappointing on real highway. The poor braking performance results from questionable design of the human-machine interface(HMI) of the brake system. Force-displacement relation at the brake pedal has a strong effect on the braking performance. Recently developed brake-by-wire (BBW) system may allow us to tailor the force feel at the brake pedal. This study aims at exploring analytical ways of designing human-machine interface of BBW system. In this paper, mathematical models of brake pedal feel for electro-hydraulic BBW (EH-BBW) system are developed, and the braking motion and the characteristics of the driver's leg action are modeled. Based on the dynamic characteristics of the brake pedal and the driver, two new HMI designs for EH-BBW system are proposed. In the designs, BBW system is modeled as a type of master-slave teleoperator. The effectiveness of the proposed designs is investigated using driving simulation.
