A Dual-Band Gap-Filler Antenna Design with a Phi-Shaped Slot

  • In this paper, we have proposed dual-band Phi-shaped slot gap filler antenna for satellite internet service applications. Some properties of the antenna such as return loss, radiation pattern, and gain have been simulated and measured. The proposed antenna has a Phi-shaped slot on the circular patch and is fabricated on the TLX-9 substrate. The radius of the circular patch is 25 mm, and it has a coaxial feeding structure. The dual-band Phi-shaped slot gap filler antenna has high-gain, small-size, simple-structure, and good radiation patterns at each band. The operating frequency band can be tuned by adjusting the length AL and FL of the Phi-shaped slot.

구형 방사 패턴을 갖는 평면 배열 안테나 설계에 대한 연구 (A Study on a Planar Array Antenna Design with a Flat-Topped Radiation Pattern)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동통신 기지국 안테나로 활용하기 위한 구형 빔 패턴을 갖는 평면 배열 안테나 설계 및 제작 그리고 실험에 대하여 기술하였다. 원하는 구형 빔 패턴을 형성하기 위해 종래에 많이 사용하던 sin(x)/x 전류 분포를 사용하지 않고 급전 회로망의 설계 제작이 용이한 진폭과 위상 성분의 전류 분포로 최적화하였다. 본 논문에서 설계하는 평면 배열 안테나는 직사각형 격자 배열 구조를 가지며, 16${\times}$8 배열 소자로 구성된다. 각 방사 소자는 선형 수직 편파와 동축 여기 구조를 갖는 단일 마이크로스트립 소자이며, 월킨슨 전력 분배기와 180$^{\circ}$ 링 하이브리드 결합기를 기본 소자로 하는 급전 회로망이 설계된다. 평면 배열 안테나는 방위각 방향으로 는 0.55 λ$_{ο}$의 소자 간격을 갖는 16 배열 소자에 의해 90$^{\circ}$ 구형 빔 패턴을 형성하고, 양각 방향으로는 0.65 λ$_{ο}$의 소자 간격을 갖는 8 배열 소자에 의해 $10^{\circ}$의 일반적인 정형 빔 패턴을 형성한다. 또한, 16${\times}$8 배열 안테나는 좌우 상하 대칭적으로 네 부분으로 나뉘어져 있으며, 128개의 방사 소자, 32개의 1-4 행 분배기, 4개의 1-8 열 분배기 그리고 1개의 1-4 입력 전력 분배기로 구성된다. 본 논문에서 제안한 평면 배열 안테나 구조의 전기적인 특성을 검증하기 위하여 1.92~2.17 GHz(IMT2000 대역)에서 동작하는 평면 배열 안테나 실험 시제품을 제작하였으며, 실험 측정 성능들은 시뮬레이션 성능들과 매우 유사함을 보여 주었다.

Pellet사료(飼料)의 급여(給與)가 병아리의 대사(代謝)에너지와 질소축적(窒素蓄積)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Studies on the Effect of Feeding Pelleted Diets on Energy Metabolism and Nitrogen Retention in Growing Chickens)

  • 한국(韓國)에서 사육(飼育)되고 있는 닭의 육용종(肉用種)과 난용종(卵用種)의 초생추(初生雛 )를 공시동물(供試動物)로 하여 사료(飼料)의 조성분(組成分)과 배합률(配合率)이 동일(同一)한 pellet사료(飼料)와 all-mash사료(飼料)를 급여(給與)하여 사료섭취량(飼料攝取量)과 증체량(增體量) 및 대사(代謝)에너지와 질소축적률(窒素蓄積率)의 차이(差異)를 측정(測定)하여 pellet사료(飼料)를 급여(給與)함으로써 사료(飼料)의 효율적(效率的) 이용(利用)을 기대(期待)한 본(本) 시험(試驗)의 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 각(各) 주별(週別) 1 수당(首當) 평균(平均) 증체량(增體量)은 5주령(週令)부터 pellet구(區)가 높아졌는데, 9주령(週令)에서 평균(平均) 1 수당(首當) 체중(體重)은 Hubbard의 pellet구(區)가 2,702g이었고 all-mash구(區)는 2,571g으로 pellet구(區)가 131g 더 증체(增體)되었고, Hy-line을 pellet구(區)와 all-mash구(區)가 각각(各各) 812g과 777g으로 전자(前者)가 35g 더 증체(增體)되어 pellet 사료(飼料)를 급여(給與)한 구(區)가 증체율(增體率)이 높은 결과(結果)였다. 2. 9주간(週間)의 1 수당(首當) 사료섭취총량(飼料攝取總量)은 pellet구(區)가 all-mash구(區)에 비(比)하여 육용종(肉用種)은 69g, 난용종(卵用種)은 75g을 더 섭취(攝取)하였다. 이 사료섭취량(飼料攝取量)에 의(依)해서 9주령(週令)까지의 사료효율(飼料效率)을 보면 육용종(肉用種)의 pellet구(區)는 0.38, all-mash구(區)는 0.36이며, 난용종(卵用種)은 0.26과 0.25로 pellet구(區)가 약간(若干) 높았다. 음수량(飮水量)은 난용종(卵用種)에 있어서 pellet구(區)가 all-mash구(區)보다 많았다. 3. 분뇨(糞尿)의 배설량(排泄量)도 사료섭취량(飼料攝取量)과 같이 pellet구(區)가 약간(若干) 많았고 질소(窒素)의 섭취율(攝取率)은 육용종(肉用種)이 57~67%였으며 난용종(卵用種)은 65~73% 였는데 두 품종(品種)이 다 같이 pellet구(區)가 all-mash구(區)보다 1~4% 정도(程度) 개선(改善)되는 것을 인정(認定)하였다. 4. 대사(代謝)에너지의 효율(效率)은 8주령(週令)에서 육용종(肉用種)이 73.4~74.3%였고 난용종(卵用種)은 82.8~83.8%로서 pellet구(區)가 1%정도(程度) 높았다. 5. 생산(生産)에너지를 호흡시험(呼吸試驗)에 의(依)해서 측정(測定)한 결과(結果)는 대사체중당(代謝體重當) 발생열량(發生熱量)이 pellet구(區)에서 94.1~102.6kcal였고 all-mash구(區)는 106.1~112.6kcal였으며 생산(生産)에너지의 효율(效率)도 41.3~48.9%와 39.0~45.8%로 pellet구(區)가 약(約) 2~3%정도(程度) 높은 것을 인정(認定)하였다. 6. 본(本) 시험(試驗)의 결과(結果)에 의(依)해서 사료(飼料)를 pelleting함으로써 얻을 수 있는 효과(效果)는 사료섭취량(飼料攝取量)과 증체량(增體量)이 증가(增加)되었으며 사료효율(飼料效率)도 높아지고 대사(代謝)에너지와 생산(生産)에너지의 이용율(利用率)도 높아지는 것을 인정(認定)하였다. 그러나 pellet사료(飼料)와 all-mash 사료(飼料)의 급여(給與)가 열량증가(熱量增加)의 차이(差異)에 어떤 mechanism으로 영향(影響)하는지는 앞으로 계속(繼續)해서 구명(究明)할 필요(必要)가 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 S-Band에서의 ISM대역을 위한 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계하였다. 사각형 패치를 안테나의 방사소자로 제안하고, 급전 방식은 L형 급전구조를 이용하여 광대역 화 하였다. 패치면의 길이와 폭 변화에 따른 중심주파수와 VSWR 2:1 ($S_{11}=-l0dB$) 대역폭을 고찰하고, ISM대역 주파수에서 안테나의 방사패턴을 시뮬레이션 하여 최대이득, 전후방비 및 3dB 빔폭을 제시한다. 중심주파수는 2.45GHz, 주파수 대역폭(VSWR 2:1)은 $2.314{\sim}2.577GHz$로 263MHz(11%)이며, E-평면과 H-평면 모두 이득은 9.3dBi이상, 3dB빔폭은 E-평면 $52.5^{\circ}$, H-평면 $64.7^{\circ}$ 이상의 특성을 보였다.

성인 여성의 자궁경부암 및 유방암 조기검진 수검행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Influence Factors on Cervical and Breast Cancers Screening Behavior of Women in a City)

  • This study was aimed at preparing basic data required for establishment of a cancer screening program by examining the status of cancer screenings performed by women in a city and the factors that had an influence on cervical and breast cancers screening behavior of women. In order to find out the status of cervical and breast cancers screening and the factors having an influence on cervical and breast cancers screening behavior, 1,113 women were selected as study area and subjects by a random cluster sampling method, and the subjects were answered by questionnaires. The major results were as follows: 1. In the cases of the breast and the cervical cancers, 16.7% and 55.7% of the subjects turned out to have had one or more screenings respectively in their life-time. Also the rate of screening group of cervical and breast cancers was 16.7%, the rate of screening group of only cervical cancer was 38.9%, and the rate of non-screening group was 44.4%. 2. As to the screening pattern of cervical and breast cancer, there were significantly for age, income, occupation, married status, spouse, the factors associated with health promotion (doctor visiting, exercising), married age, number of children, and breast feeding(p〈0.05). 3. The factors associated with screening behaviors for cervical and breast cancers were age, income, occupation, married status, doctor visiting, exercising, married age, number of children, and breast feeding(p〈0.05). Based on the above-mentioned results obtained by this study, it was anticipated that this study may be playa vital role as basic data for the development and execution of cervical and breast cancers screening program for women in a community. And the analysis, done on the basis of the status of the cancer screening, of the influence factors on cervical and breast cancers screening behavior showed that for the development of a cancer screening program, the factors like age, social-economic class, married status, health promotion behavior, and reproductive characteristics should be considered.

LTE/WWAN 이동 통신 단말기 응용을 위해 커플드 급전된 평판 모노폴 안테나 (Coupled-Fed Planar Monopole Antenna for LTE/WWAN Mobile Handset Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 LTE/WWAN 이동 통신 단말기 응용을 위해 커플드 급전된 모노폴 안테나를 제안하였다. 이 안테나는 모노폴, 커플링 스트립, 급전 패드, 스터브, 단락 스트립으로 구성되어 있다. 모노폴의 기본 공진과 급전 패드와 커플링 스트립 사이에서 발생하는 커플링에 의한 공진이 결합하여 LTE700(698~787 MHz), GSM-850(824~894 MHz), GSM900(890~960 MHz) 대역을 포함한다. 스터브의 공진은 모노폴의 고조파 성분과 결합하여 GSM1800(1,710~1,880 MHz), GSM1900(1,850~1,990 MHz), UMTS(1,920~2,170 MHz) 대역을 포함한다. 그러므로 제안된 안테나는 LTE700, GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS 대역을 포함하는 육중 대역 이동 통신 단말기를 위한 안테나로써 적용이 가능하다. 동작 대역 내에서 방사 패턴은 안정적이고 전방향성이며, 안테나 이득은 적당하다.

식이내의 타우린 또는 글라이신 보강이 흰쥐의 혈장과 간의 유리아미노산 농도 및 패턴에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Taurine or Glycine Supplementation on Plasma and Liver Free Amino Acid Concentrations in Rats)

  • Our previous study demonstrated that dietary taurine or glycine supplementation significantly lowered plasma and hepatic cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations in rats fed a cholesterol-free diet. In the present study, the effect of long term dietary taurine or glycine supplementation, for the purpose of preventing and/or treating of hyperlipidemia and other known biological functions, on plasma and hepatic free amino acid concentrations and profiles were evaluated in rats. Three groups of male rats(110-130g) were fed a control diet(CD), taurine-supplemented diets(TSD ; CD+ 1.5% taurine) or glycine-supplemented diet(GSD ; CD+1.5% glycine) for 5 weeks. Plasma and hepatic free amino acid concentrations were determined by an automated amino acid analyzer based on ion-exchange chormatography. The feeding of TSD for 5 weeks yielded a 444% higher plasma taurine concentration , and the feeding GSD for the same period resulted in a 143% higher plasma glycine level in rats compared to those fed DB. Hepatic taurine concentration was significantly higher in rats fed TSD(145% increase) compared to the control rats. However, hepatic glycine concentration was not influenced by dietary glycine supplementation , which implies that the massive dose of glycine entering the body was more rapidly metabolized or excreted than taurein. Dietary taurine or glycine supplementation resulted in similar changes in plasma free amino acid concentrations, except in levels of taurine and glycine. Plasma levels of histidine, lysine, phenylalanine , alanine, proline, hydroxypoline, $\alpha$-aminogutyric acid, cystathionine and ethanolamine were significantly higher in rats fed TSD or GSD than those fed GD. Glycine supplementation did not change hepatic free amino acid concentrations as compared to CD. Concentrations of most hepatic free amino acids were not influenced by dietary taurine supplementation with the exception of significantly higher levels of asparate and tyrosine(56-63% increase) and lower levels of histidine and glutamate(33-34% decrease) compared to the control rats. These results suggest long-term dietary taurine or glycine supplementation resulted in increases in most plasma free amino acid levels, but did not cause a characteristic change in plasma aminogram pattern compared to rats fed CD.

가두리 양식장 주변의 수중환경소음과 생물소음의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of the Underwater Ambient Noise and Biological Noise in Fish Farm Cages)

  • This paper describes to analyze the underwater ambient noise and biological noise of cultivating fishes in the fish farm cages at the seawater Tongyong-kun, KyongNam and lake of Chungju, Chech'on, ChungBuk from 10 to 19 Oct. 1997, in order to find out the characteristics of these noises. The results obtained were as follows; (1) The ambient noise around the fish farm cages at lake of Chungju was 10~200Hz frequency range, 70~105dB spectrum level. The central frequency was 50~70Hz, changing of ambient noise was getting bigger than 10~200Hz in 200Hz~2kKz frequency by wind, water current. (2) The frequency of noise source around the fish farm cage at the seawater of Tongyong-kun was 20~200Hz, spectrum level was 80~100dB while feed factory was working around the fish farm cage. When feed factory did not work, noise source was 10~600Hz frequency range, 70~90dB spectrum level. It was 10dB less than that of while feed factory was working, and then the central frequency was 70Hz. (3) The vessel noise of excursion ship had changed largely at 100dB spectrum level in 10~500Hz frequency band, and the fishing boat had 20Hz~2kHz frequency range. (4) The biological noise in the fish farm cage at lake of Chungju, which was feeding of Cyprinus carpio, 2was 10~30Hz frequency, 70~104dB spectrum level. The central frequency was 75Hz. The biological noises in the fish farm cage at the seawater of Tongyong-kun, which were feeding and swimming noise, had very different spectrum pattern by species, and the frequency band was 10~800Hz.

에스트로겐에 의한 암쥐의 심장조직의 COX-2, Mapkinases 및 관련된 Apoptotic Markers의 발현의 변화에 관한 연구 (Changes in the Expression Pattern of Cyclooxygenase-2, Mapkinases and Related Apoptotic Markers by Different Levels of Estrogen Supplementation in Mature or Ovariectomized Female Rat Heart)

  • The effects of different concentrations of estrogen supplementation to mature female rats or estrogen supplementation to ovariectomized rats on cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression, PGE$_2$ production and mapkinases expression were investigated in experimentally induced atherogenic rats with feeding a high fat. high cholesterol diet. In the first experiment using 48-week old mature rats, the supplementation of three different levels of estrogen was compared to the basal diet. The high concentration of estrogen supplementation induced the marked up-regulation of COX-2 protein and the increase in plasma PGE$_2$ production and this seems to be followed by the up-regulation of p38 among mapkinases. The regulation of bax showed in a reverse trend of COX-2 in heart tissues of mature female rats. In the second ex-perimental system, female Sprague-Dawley rats were bilaterally ovariectomized; sham-operated animals were used as controls. Three weeks later, the animals were supplied with basal diet to sham-operated control group and ovariectomized control group, and estrogen supplemented diet to ovariectomized group for an eight-week experimental period. In a group supplemented with a medium dose of estrogen, COX-2 expression was up-regulated. This up-regulation was accompanied by the elevated expression of pERK1/2. Bax was increased in estrogen-fed animals indicating bax might be involved in estrogen feeding state in ovariectomized rats. Further investigations on the relationship between COX-2 and biological activities such as vasodilation by estrogen are required in in vivo system of female rats at the various physiological states.

Organ-Specific Expression Profile of Jpk: Seeking for a Possible Diagnostic Marker for the Diabetes Mellitus

  • A novel gene Jpk, originally isolated as a trans-acting factor associating with the position-specific regulatory element of murine Hox gene has been reported to be expressed differentially in the liver of diabetic animals. Therefore, in an attempt to develop a possible diagnostic marker and/or new therapeutic agent for the Diabetes Mellitus, we analysed the expression pattern of Jpk among organs of normal and diabetic Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Total RNAs were isolated from each organs (brain, lung, heart, liver, spleen, kidney, muscle, blood, and testis) of diabetic and normal rats in both normal feeding and after fasting condition. And then RT (reverse transcription) PCR has been performed using Jpk­specific primers. The Jpk gene turned out to be expressed in all organs tested, with some different expression profiles among normal and diabetes, though. Upon fasting, Jpk expressions were reduced in all organs tested except kidney, muscle and brain of normal rat. Whereas in diabetes, Jpk expressions were increased in all organs except heart, muscle and testis when fasted. Compared to the normal rat, the Jpk expression level in blood was remarkably upregulated (about 15-30times) in diabetic rat whether in normal feeding or fasting conditon, suggesting that the Jpk could be a candidate gene for the possible blood diagnostic marker for the Diabetes Mellitus.
