  • This paper describes a current control method for a single-phase PWM inverter. The proposed PWM inverter utilizes the instantaneous control method which is based on the real-time digital feedback control and the microprocessor-based deadbeat control. For the deadbeat current controller, the system's order becomes a high order and increases computation delay time. Therefore, The delay time produces current ripple. To minimize the current ripple, a new method based on deadbeat control theory for current regulation is proposed. It is constructed by a reduced-order state observer which predicts the output current in next sampling instant.

  • A single pixel photon counting type image sensor which is applicable for medical diagnosis with digitally obtained image and industrial purpose has tern designed with $0.18{\mu}m$ triple-well CMOS process. The designed single pixel for readout chip is able to be operated by single supply voltage to simplify digital X-ray image sensor module and a preamplifier which is consist of folded cascode CMOS operational amplifier has been designed to enlarge signal voltage(${\Delta}Vs$), the output voltage of preamplifier. And an externally tunable threshold voltage generator circuit which generates threshold voltage in the readout chip has been newly proposed against the conventional external threshold voltage supply. In addition, A dark current compensation circuit for reducing dark current noise from photo diode is proposed and 15bit LFSR(Linear Feedback Shift Resister) Counter which is able to have high counting frequency and small layout area is designed.

Measurement strategy of a system parameters for the PI current control of the A.C. motor (교류 전동기의 PI 전류제어를 위한 시스템 파라미터 계측법)

  • This Paper propose the method that measure main system parameters for PI(proportional-integral) current control of a.c. motor adopting the vector control technique. For current control, the PI control input is could be tuning by several selective methods. Among the several methods, the method that using the main system parameters, wire resistance and inductance, are frequently used. In this study, the technique to dissect and measure these two system parameters through the results of simple feedback control. This analytic measurement method is measuring parameters step by step dissecting the results of P control using simple proportional feedback gain about the unit step or multiple step reference command. This strategy is an real time analytic measurement method that calculate current control gains of torque component and flux component both for vector control of A.C. motor without introducing the further measurement circuits and complex measuring algorithms.

  • A voltage source PWM converter based on lossless resonator and a source current control system are proposed in this paper. It is proved that steady-state deviation reduces to zero from the transfer function of source current control system, owing to the lossless resonator. The system can be controlled by the feedback control only, because of no need to use a feedforward control in the proposed a source current control system. Therefore, as using lossless resonator, control system can be simply made up. Simulations are described in the case of difference between source current and source current reference.

  • This paper presents a method that can improve the performance of permanent magnet synchronous motor current control by minimizing the measured current phase delay caused by the Low Pass Filter(LPF) used to cut off the noises that flowed in when feedback currents are measured. Although existing methods that change the Cutoff Frequency of the LPF can minimize phase delays during high speed rotations, their noise cutoff effects are much lower and this may lead to the decline of control performance. Therefore, in this study, an algorithm that can compensate current phase delays through relatively simple calculations from the synchronous motor d-q axis coordinate transformation matrix and the inverse transformation matrix is proposed and the validity of the proposed method is verified by comparing the waveform of the calculated current with the waveform of actual currents through simulations and experiments.

  • DC motor is easy to control and can make torque easily. DC motor uses wide range. But DCmotor have limited by using a brush and structural complexity. But, BLDC doesn't have brush so that is more simple than DC motor, and the rotor of BLDC motor is made by permanent magnet that dose not need to make a fixed flux speed for flux current. BLDC motor is very efficiency, controllable, and reliable. This paper presents an error detection with a BLDC motor current. Generally, BLDC motor current is used to current feedback, so that can make a critical fault in the system. this paper suggests to detect error by inspection of threshold current value both positive and negative.

  • The introduction of resonant link inverters has allowed the use of much higher switching frequencies in induction motor current regulators. The resonant link inverter,however, requries the use of discrete time switching strategies. This type of controller,while giving the best possible performance, is difficult to implement, since motor parameters must be calculated or measured. The delta modulated current regurator (DMCR) has been introduced as a controller without additional state feedback. A discrete pulse modulated current regulator which controls load current is introduced in the paper.

  • This paper describes current controlled PWM technique of PM synchronous motors for a wide variety of speed control applications. They are however limited in their ability to operate in the power limited regime where the available torque is reduced as the speed is increased above its base value. This paper reviews the operation of the PMSM drives when they are constrained to be within the permissible envelope of maximum inverter voltage and current to produce the rated power and to provide this with the highest attainable rotor speed. The optimal field-weakening control algorithm is the use of phase current and d-axis current feedback to reduce of error between the d-axis current command and real current and to improve the torque characteristics. The improved torque characteristics of speed control strategy with optimal field weakening control algorithm is analyzed and the performance is investigated by the computer simulation and experimental results.   • This paper presented practical details about control-loop design and dynamic analysis for a peak current-mode controlled asymmetrical half-bridge(ASHB) do-to-dc converter, Graphical loop gain method is used to design the feedback compensation and analyze the closed-loop performance of ASHB converter. The results of the control design and closed-loop analysis are validated by experiments on a prototype converter.

  • This paper presents a control algorithm that minimizes the DC-link capacitance by decreasing the capacitor current. The capacitor current can be nullified by a feedback compensation term which is calculated from the power balance in the AC/DC converter. As a result, voltage variation in the DC-link is reduced further, which makes a large reduction in the size of DC-link capacitors which are expensive and have limitations in life time. Simulations are performed with two 80uF DC-link capacitors, which can be replaced by film capacitors.
