Fe 첨가에 따른 지르코늄합금의 재결정 가속화

  • 첨가원소에 따른 지르코늄합금의 재결정화 거동이 조사되었다. Zr-1.0 wt.% Nb-04 wt% Sn 합금에 V, Mo 및 Fe의 소량첨가원소를 각각 0.3 wt. % 첨가시켜 판재로 가공후 500-600 $^{\circ}C$에서 열처리 시간에 따른 경도변화 및 미세조직변화를 추적하였다. Fe가 첨가안된 Zr-1.0 wt.% Nb-0.4 wt.% Sn 합금과의 재결정현상을 비교할 때, 0.22 wt.%의 Fe의 첨가는 지르코늄합금의 재결정을 가속화시켰다. 그러나 소량의 V 또는 Mo의 첨가는 지르코늄합금의 재결정을 더디게 하였으며, 경도의 증가를 야기시켰다. 본연구결과는 지르코늄합금에 미소첨가되는 Fe가 지르코늄의 격자확산 및 치환확산을 가속한다는 것을 확증적으로 보여주는 것으로 중성자 조사조건에서 증폭해서 나타나는 조사성장, 부식, 크립등의 여러가지 현상들 (irradiation induced phenomena)도 미소첨가된 Fe의 재배열과 관계가 있는것으로 사료된다.

  • 올리빈 구조의 $LiFePO_4$ 정극 활물질은 $650^{\circ}C$에서 고상법으로 제조되었다. $LiFePO_4$의 전자전도도를 향상시키기 위하여 graphite nanofiber(GNF)를 각각 3wt%, 5wt%, 7wt%, 9wt% 첨가하여 $LiFePO_4$-C를 제조하였다. 제조된 분말의 입자 형태를 확인하기 위하여 X-ray diffraction(XRD)과 File Electronic Scaning Electromicroscopy(FE-SEM)를 측정하였다. XRD결과로부터 제조된 분말은 모두 순수한 결정 구조를 나타내었고 입자의 크기는 약 200nm였다. 5wt% GNF를 첨가한 $LiFePO_4$-C는 기타 첨가량에 비해 방전용량이 가장 높았다. 첫 사이클의 용량은 151.73mAh/g 나타났고 50 사이클 뒤에도 92% 이상을 유지하고 있었다. 첨가하지 않은 것에 비해 43% 증가하였다. $LiFePO_4$-C(3wt%), $LiFePO_4$-C(7wt%), $LiFePO_4$-C(9wt%)의 첫 사이클 방전용량은 각각 147.94mAh/g, 136.64mAh/g, 121.07mAh/g 나타났다. $LiFePO_4$-C(5wt%)에 비해 용량은 떨어쪘지만 순수한 $LiFePO_4$보다 많이 높았다. 임피던스 결과를 보면 기타 첨가량에 비해 $LiFePO_4$-C(5wt%)의 저항 제일 낮았다. 이는 충방전 결과와 일치하였다. graphite nanofiber의 첨가로 인하여 $LiFePO_4$ 정극 활물질의 전자전도도가 높아지고, 따라서 전기화학적 특성도 크게 향상되었다.

Melting and Refining of Cu Powder Scraped from Waste PCB with Fe2O3 (Fe2O3 첨가에 의한 폐PCB로부터 긁어낸 Cu분말의 용융 및 정제)

  • In this study, $Fe_2O_3$ was added as a flux to decrease melting temperature and refine during melting of Cu powder from scraped surface of the waste PCB (printed circuit board). The effect of $Fe_2O_3$ ratio to Cu powder and temperature on the recovery of Cu and content of impurities were investigated. It was found that the recovery of Cu was increased with increasing addition ratio of $Fe_2O_3$ and reaction temperature. The contents of O, Si and Fe in Cu phase were also decreased with increasing addition ratio of $Fe_2O_3$ and temperature. The formation of fayalite ($2FeO{\cdot}SiO_2$) and iron oxides phases in the slag was confirmed by XRD analysis after reaction with $Fe_2O_3$. Therefore, it was considered that the decrease of melting temperature and viscosity of slag by formation of fayalite slag contributed remarkably to the Cu recovery.

  • A new etchant formulation was developed in this study to increase the shadow mask production rate, utilizing the $Fe(ClO_4)_3$ as an additive in the aqueous $FeCl_3$ solution. The shadow mask etch rate increased substantially with the increase of $Fe(ClO_4)_3$ concentration in the etchant. The etch rate difference between Ni and Invar steel was also reduced with the addition of $Fe{(ClO_4)_3}$ for most of the operating conditions, which was caused by the enhanced etch rate of both Ni and Fe by the new etchant. The increase in etch rate with the addition of $Fe(ClO_4)_3$ to aqueous ferric chloride solution was attributed to the superior electron transfer capability of $ClO^{4-}$ ion to that of $Cl^-$ ion.

Quality characteristics of steamed rice cake with Schisandra chinensis powder or extract added prior to storage (오미자 분말 및 추출물 첨가 설기떡의 저장 중 품질특성)

  • The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of the steamed rice cakes added with powder and extract of Schisandra chinensis (SC). Steamed rice cakes were prepared by adding SC using 1% hot-air dried SC powder (DP), hot-air dried SC extract (DE), freeze dried SC powder (FP) and, frozen SC extract (FE). After packaging with nylon/polyethylene films, the cakes were stored at $25^{\circ}C$ for 5 days. The FE-treated steamed rice cake had the lowest pH value. The $L^*$ value of the control cakes was highest immediately after processing and decreased during storage. The $a^*$ values of FP- and FE-treated steamed rice cakes were higher than those of DP- and DE-treated cakes. The $b^*$ values of DP- and DE-treated steamed rice cakes were higher than those of FP- and FE-treated cakes. Total phenolic contents of DP and DE were lower than those of FP and FE. Anthocyanin contents of DP- and DE-treated steamed rice cakes were lower than those of FP- and FE-treated cakes. Schisandrin contents of DP- and FP-treated steamed rice cakes were lower than those of DE- and FE-treated cakes. Ferric reducing antioxidant power assays revealed that DP and DE had lower antioxidant powers than those of FP and FE. The results of this study indicate that, among the treatments methods used, the steamed rice cake treated with FE had the highest functional component and antioxidant activity levels.

  • 본 연구에서는 Sn과 Mg를 Cu-Fe-P 합금계에 첨가 하였을 때 합금의 미세조직과 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Cu-Fe-P 합금에 Sn과 Mg를첨가 함으로써 생성된 석출상과 합금의 미세조직, 기계적 성질 및 전기전도도를 조사하였다. 합금성분은 OES로 분석하였으며 SEM 및 EDX로 미세 석출상이생성됨을 확인하였다. 본연구를 통하여 Cu-Fe-P 합금계에 Sn과 Mg를 적절히 첨가 함으로써 고강도-고전도도의 동합금 제조가 가능함을 확인하였다.

Effects of Fe and Cu Addition on the Microstructure and Tensile Properties of Al-Si-Mg Alloy for Compound Casting (복합주조용 Al-Si-Mg합금의 미세조직 및 인장성질에 미치는 Fe 및 Cu 첨가의 영향)

  • In the compound casting between the aluminum alloy and the cast iron, the iron component may be dissolved from the cast iron during the process and mixed into the aluminum melt, thereby forming various iron-containing intermetallic compounds and significantly deteriorating the tensile properties of the aluminum alloy. On the other hand, unlike Fe, which is added as an impurity, Cu is added to improve the mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy. In this study, the change in microstructure and tensile properties of aluminum alloys due to the addition of Fe and Cu was investigated. A large amount of iron-containing compounds such as coarse Al5FeSi phases were formed when the iron content was 1% or more, and the tensile properties were significantly reduced. In the case of the aluminum alloy to which Cu was added, an Al2Cu phase was additionally formed and the tensile strength was clearly improved.

Effects of Organic Iron Supplementation on Productivity and Egg Composition in Laying Hens (유기철의 첨가가 산란계의 생산성 및 난 성분에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of iron reinforcing agent on the performance in laying hens for seven weeks. One hundred ninety eight 30-wk-old Brown Tetran layers were assigned to 9 treatments: control containing 45 mg Fe from iron sulfate per kg diet (FE-45), FE-90 (control multiplied two times), FE-180 (control multiplied four times), YM-45 containing 45mg Fe from yeast mutant, YM-90 (YM-45 multiplied two times), YM-180 (YM-45 multiplied four times), YF-45 containing 45mg Fe from ferritin containing yeast, YF-90 (YF-45 multiplied two times), YF-180 (YF-45 multiplied four times) in the experiment. Each treatment had four replications of 6 birds each. In the average egg production, the YF-180 was highest and the FE-45 (the control) was lowest; the YM-180, YF-90, and YF-180 were significantly (P<0.05) higher than the control. In the comparisons of egg weight and egg mass, the YF-180 was significantly higher (P<0.05) than the FE-90 or the control. In the FCR, the YM-90 was highest and the YF-45 was lowest. There was no significant difference between the control and YM-90 although the YF-45 was significantly (P<0.05) lower in FCR than the control. In the eggshell thickness, the YF-180 was the thickest and the FE-90 was the thinnest; the YF-45 or the YF-180 was significantly thicker (P<0.05) than the control. In the eggshell strength, the YF-45 was the strongest and the YM-45 was the weakest; the YM-90, YF-45, and YF-180 were significantly stronger (P<0.05) than the control. In the cholesterol level of egg yolk, the control (FE-45) was the highest and the YF-45 was the lowest; there was a significantly different (P<0.05) between these two treatments. In conclusion, in case of adding organic iron to feed for layers, it gives improvement on performance of layers and develop chemical composition of eggs.

The Preparation and Mossbauer Study of M-type Barrium Ferrite using Salt-Catalysis Method (소금-촉매에 의한 M형 Barrium Ferrite의 제조 및 Mossbauer 분광학적 연구)

  • Hexagonal M-type barium ferrite $BaFe_{12}O_{19}$ was prepared by a direct solid state reaction between $BaCO_3$ and ${\Alpha}-Fe_2O_3$ powders at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1000 $^{\circ}C$ in a nitrogen or air environment. The effects of NaCl on phase transformation of mixture of $BaCO_3$ and ${\Alpha}-Fe_2O_3$ to $BaFe_{12}O_{19}$ were studied using X-ray diffraction and M$\"{o}$ssbauer spectroscopy. Regardless of the environment for heat treatment or the added NaCl, two phases, BaFe and ${\Alpha}-Fe_2O_3$, coexist for samples heat treated at 800 $^{\circ}C$, but a single phase was observed from samples heat treated at 100$0^{\circ}C$ in both air and nitrogen environments. It was found that the addition of NaCl reduced the amount of $a-Fe_2O_3$ phase.hase.

Plastic Behavior of $\textrm{L1}_{2}\textrm{Ni}$-20Al-10Fe Intermetallic Compounds with Microalloying Additions of B, Hf and Zr (B, Hf, Zr첨가에 따른 $\textrm{L1}_{2}\textrm{Ni}$-20Al-10Fe 금속간화합물의 소성거동)

  • LI$_{2}$형 결정구조를 갖는 Ni-20at.%AI-10at%Fe 금속간화합물에 boron, zirconium 과 hafnium을 최고 0.5at.% 까지 첨가하여 항복강도, 연성, 파괴 등 기계적 성질의 변화를 인장시험과 X선분석 및 XPS분석 등을 통하여 관찰하였다. Ni-20at.% AI-10at.% Fe금속간화합물에 boron을 첨가하였을 때는 연신율의 현저한 증가가 나타났으나 zirconium이나 hafnium첨가의 경우에는 별다른 효과가 나타나지 않았다. Ni-20at.%AI-10at%Fe 금속간화합물의 경우, boron의 양이 증가할수록 인장연신율이 증가하였으며 0.1at.%의 boron을 첨가한 경우 최고 48.5%의 상온인장연신율을 나타내었다. 첨가물을 넣지 않은 경우와 zirconium과 hafnium을 첨가한 경우, 파괴모드는 입계파괴의 형태를 나타내었으나 boron을 첨가한 경우에는 파괴모드가 입계파괴에서 입내파괴로 변화되었다. XPS분석을 통하여 boron이 입계에 편석된 것을 관찰할 수 있었으며 이는 이미 제시된 여러가지 해석들과 일치하는 결과이다. 이로부터 boron의 첨가에 따른 인장연신율의 증가는 boron의 입계편석거동과 관련이 있음을 알 수 있다.
