Because adolescents are much inflicted with the sense of obsession in endless competition with their feers the costume of the pop singers relieving this agony and anxiety is becoming the object of immitation more than that of any oother entertainer. In this perspective it was thought that it was very necessary to attempt to investigate what relationship sense of mental anxiety the costume singers recently have worn had with adolescents sense of anxiety. The anxiety questionnaire used by Chu Young-sook and Kim Jung-hui and the questionnaire drawn up as the result- of the pilot-test and the pre-test were used and the questionnaires drawn up by a total of 228 middle schoolgirls in seoul were used a sfinal data of annalysis. Of them the anxiety questionnaire was made up of 8 sub-scales such as classic·social·morbid·learning examination·school record·poverty·war and other to anxieties. in order to survey the overall content concerning the costume of the singers preferred by teenagers the other questionnaire presented three vaiables such as musicality fashionability and dance as the distinct characteristics of singers and hiphop style tidy style and sexy style of clothing as the style of clothing preferred of singers' clothing. The importance fashionability and imitability of clothing were investigated as variables in relation to singers' clothing behavior. The SPSS PC+ program was used as the analytic method of data which were tested by the frequency analysis Duncan's multiple anaylsis of variance t-test and so on. As a result of investigation middle schoolgirls having a high level of learning and examinatior anxieties preferred the singers excellent in musicality while middle schoolgirls having a lower level of classic anxiety preferred the singers excellent in fashionability and dance wearing the hiphop style of clothing. And it was shown that middle schoolgirls having a lower level of classic anxiety preferred the singers wearing the clothing of sexy style. In the light of these results it was shown that there was the correlation between anxiety and clothing preference. Accordingly it is thought that the purpose of this study was achieved to some exent.

In this paper, we design a smart phone UX/UI and a tap pattern recognition algorithm that can recognize tap patterns from a tapping user's fingers on the screen, and implement an application that provides user-customizable smart phones's services from the tap patterns. A user can generate a pattern by tapping the input pad several times and register it by using a smart phone's favorite program. More specifically, when the user inputs a tap pattern on the input pad, the proposed application searches a stored similar tap pattern and can run a service registered on it by measuring tap pattern similarity. Our experimental results show that the proposed method helps to guarantee the higher recognition rate and shorter input time for a variety of tap patterns.
This paper shows the research about the personalized broadcasting system. The personalized broadcasting is the service that users only show the programs which they want to watch when they want to watch these. The purpose of the bi-directional broadcasting service is supporting more satisfied and more personalized services by permitting the bi-directional data transformation. This research also develops the user profiling system for the bi-directional and personalized broadcasting service. This system applied the TV-Anytime metadata specifications which is the standard for the personalized broadcasting services, the system supports the various functions for the bi-directionl and personalized broadcasting such as the user profiling, contents metadata and targeting advertisement services. The bi-directional and personalized broadcasting system increases the users' satisfaction with the recommendation and management of the personally favorite broadcasting contents and advertisements, the trial run results show that the services raise the users' satisfaction with the intelligent and discriminating broadcasting services.
The purpose of this study was to find out the difference between preferred hairstyle and pursued-image of hairstyle according to demographic characteristics. The method of this study is a content analysis and survey research using a questionnaire, which consisted of items of pursued-image of hairstyle, preferred hairstyle and demographic characteristics. 450 women were selected as subjects of this study; they were randomly selected from hair salon located in Seoul, Inchon and Bundang. For the material analysis, We used the statistical program of SPSS 12.0; frequencies, factor nalysis, one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, T Test and ${\chi}^2$ Test were carried out as the methods of analysis. The research findings were as follows. First, the results of hairstyles according to the content analysis usually resulted 5 hairstyles, such as cuts and crew cut, bobbed hair, long layered hair styles and nonelayered long hair styles. Second, under the survey regarding the difference of preferred hairstyle and pursued-image of hairstyle according to demographic characteristics. variety of hair styles due to the subjects were more willing to try a consciousness about other's suggestions and how they are portrayed. Moreover a low level of education was ralated to a attempting a variety of styles, considering their social life. Subjects with higher age, education level and salary preferred a glamorous image as well as crew cuts. Which made them look younger. However, when they were younger, they preferred long nonelayered hair styles. In conclusion, age, average monthly income and education level are important variations affecting the property of change in hairstyles and pursued-image of hairstyles.
In order to find associated factors with alcohol drinking among female students, a survey was conducted of 1,073 female students of a women's university in Seoul from the 22nd of May to the 18th of June, 1995. The major results were as follows: 1. Among 1,073 respondents, 13.8% of them were regular drinkers, 71.8% of them were social drinkers. the alcohol drinking rate of female students had significantly different depending on their field of study. The time of their first drind varied: 2. 14.8% in junior nigh school, 30.2% in high school, 4.7% after high school, and 49.4% in college. 3. The major motivation to start drinking was 'social meeting' (45.4%), 'curiosity' (12.6%), and 'releasing stress' (5.5%). 4. The favorite alcohol of drinkers was beer (62.2%), Soju (25.6%), whisky (1.4%), Makkori (0.2%). 5. The frequency of alcohol drinking was 36.5% once a week, 32.8% 2~3 times per month. 15.7% more than twice a week and 8.4% once a month. 6. Among the respondents, 73.4% of them wanted a health education program about drinking. 7. The drinking of the father, mother, brother, sister, boy friend, girl friend had a statistically significant relation with the drinking of the respondents. 8. Meal regularity, balanced diet, smoking, and knowledge of alcohol drinking had a statistically significant relation with the drinking of the respondents. 9. A multiple logistic regression analysis showed that related factors for alcohol drinking were the following: health status, balanced diet, father's drinking, sister's drinking, boy friend's drinking, and smoking.
The goal of this study was to determine a method of reducing food wastes in the dietary home lifestyle. Statistical analyses were conducted of 491 questionnaires answered by housekeepers living in Daejeon city. The data were analyzed by SAS program and the results are summarized as follows. Among the respondents, 51.53% answered that they purchased the foods in consideration of the family number, 60.45% that they occasionally throw away foods because the date of expiry had passed, i.e., the foods threw away by mistake of storage, 68.23% that they make side dishes at a time for three meals in a day, 52.95% that they make three or four kinds of side dishes, 82.28% that they prepared meals according to the favorite foods of the family, 48.04% that they left food at home, and 47.32% that they threw away foods because too many foods had been prepared. The major reasons for food wastes at home were listed as meal leftovers (32.72%), vegetable trimming (31.29%), and non-planned purchase (25.77 %). The perception of housekeepers on the reduction of food waste were listed as the preparation of accurate meal quantity (50.92%), planned purchase (28.31%), development of recycling foods (14.05%), and reduction of side dishes (6.72%). Further reduction of food wastes of dietary home lifestyle can be summarized to emphasize the preparation of accurate meal quantity, planned purchase, development of recycling foods, and reduction of side dishes. In addition, studies should be conducted to examine the systematic administration method and standard education for the reduction of food wastes.
We have published a paper which is on stress and dietary life for college students considering weight, height, BMI by the sex of them. It was on obesity index, stress durability and stress strength, meal intake by stress, stress reduction and stress relief for the sample students. In this paper, we monitored taste changing of their favorite food under stresses, feeling after food intake for stress relief, score of stress with life style, strength of stress correlated with characteristic and BMI. The students preferred hot and sweet taste on their stress. However there is no difference feeling their stress after taking food for stress relief by ages, major area and monthly expenses. The stress is more severe for them according to do not sleeping and health status. The stress is not affected by exercising, smoking, drinking alcohols, healthcare mind in their life. The impetuous students get more stress easily but the stress is not affected on BMI. As a result, we need to provide them a nutrition education program that guide the students to improve their dietary life style and practice of their life attitude.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the eating behavior and life habits of kindergarten children 5 to 7 years old in Chuncheon area. This study was conducted in December, 1996. Anthropometric indices(height, weight, skinfold thickness, mid-arm circumference) were measured and body mass index(BMI), Rohrer index, arm fat area were calculated to estimate children’s body fatness. Also the eating behavior and life habits were determined tv using questionnaire method. The results were as follows: Body fat rate of the children was almost normal according to Rohrer index and BMI. There was significant difference in birth weight between male and female. The problems of the eating behavior were frequent skipping breakfast and eating-out. The rate of the children who took snacks 2 times a day was 46.9%. Most children tended to take sweet snacks such as ice-cream, chocolates, cookies, and they tended to prefer meats and fishes to vegetables. The rate of breast feeding was 28.3% and the rate of weaning foods prepared at home was 61.1%. Many children preferred indoor activities such as watching TV, toy furniture play, building block to outdoor activities such as roller-skating, cycling, jogging in their spare time. The rate of the children who took exercise regularly was 15%. Children tended to eat kimbap, fried chicken, ramyeon more frequently in various instant foods. The intake rates of fruit juice and barly tea were relatively high and children's favorite fruits were watermelon and mandarin orange. From this results, skipping breakfast, frequent eating-out and the monotony of food preference appears to cause imbalance in nutrient intakes of the children and to have bad influence on children’s health. Accodgingiy, the comprehensive nutrition education and proper modification program should be needed for the children and their parents to correct the eating behavior and life habits. The reasonable exercise programs are needed to motivate outdoor activities of the children, and the importance of breast feeding and weaning foods should be emphasized to lactating women and pregnant women.
To investigate the image, preference, importance and satisfaction of foreign visitors to Korean foods, 220 visitors (male 104, female 115) were surveyed with questionnaires in English and Japanese. To achieve this research purpose, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, t-test, and one way ANOVA was performed using the SPSS 15.0 program. Subjects had various nationality such as Europe/Oceania (24.7%/), Asia (23.3%), Africa (12.8), and North America (39.3). The representative food was kimchi > bibimbop > bulgogi but the most favorite food was bibimbop > kalbi > bulgogi in order. Like this, there are some discrepancies among the food choice, especially in kimchi, so the taste of kimchi should be improved according to the foreigners' taste. The results of the preference about the image get the high grade from those factors; the resonable price of Korean food, the spicy taste, various kinds of food according to the settings of the table, good for the health with excellent taste. Foreigners consider that the cleanliness of food and tableware, the sanitation of the restaurants, the taste of the food and freshness of ingredients are the important factors in Korean food and Korean restaurants. According to these factors, the satisfaction is affected by the attitude of servers > the taste of the food > the freshness of the ingredients > the amount of the food > the atmosphere of the restaurants > the cleanliness of the tableware in order. From the relationship between the importance and the satisfaction, the low grade food should improve the color and styling of the food and be served the appropriate amount of the food. Moreover, it is needed to improve the combining the spices and the ingredients to maintain a balance between strong and delicate flavors and with this, Korean food should be more globalized to promote the development of Korea tourism.
The purpose of this study was to examine whether any differences can be found in body comparison, body satisfaction, and appearance management behaviors according to the MBTI's typology among male and female adolescents in Gwangju and South Jeolla province, South Korea. It was conducted by a self-report survey of 534 male and female high school students in Gwangju and South Jeolla province. The collected survey data were analyzed by Means, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Factor analysis, and t-test using the SPSS/PC WIN 19.0 statistical program. The results were as follows: Introversion Type(I) teens tend to think a thinner body is closer to the ideal when compared to Extroversion type(E) students. They spend less time comparing their bodies with their peers. However, they usually have lower levels of body satisfaction and are more likely to be concerned about acne. Intuition Type(N) students tend to have a body figure that is a little plumper than Sensing Type(S) teens. They are inclined to try and lose weight and are concerned about acne. Sensing Type(S) students are more likely to compare their bodies with their peers than Intuition Type(N) teens. However, they are generally less satisfied with their bodies. Feeling Type(F) teens are more concerned with harmony and personal hygiene the Thinking Type(T) students. Judging Type (J) students generally want to be thinner than their current body type when compared with Perceiving Type(P) teens. When Judging Type(J) teens decide they need to be on a diet, they do their best to lose weight even if it means exercising and forgoing their favorite foods. These results indicate that it would be more effective to offer guidance to teens while taking into consideration their differences in terms of appearance management behaviors based on the MBTI Topology of Adolescents.
