Effects of 60 Minutes Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation on Blood Lactic Acid Concentration, Heart Rate, and Rating of Perceived Exertion in Rescuers

  • 본 연구에서는 장시간 심폐소생술 지속 시 구조자의 혈중 젖산 농도, 심박동수, 운동자각도를 측정함으로써 구조자의 피로도 변화를 파악하고자 하였다. 자료수집은 2021년도 7월 5일부터 7월 9일까지 D 대학교 특전의무부사관과 학생 12명, 응급구조학과 학생 12명 총 24명을 대상으로 60분 동안 2인 교대 가슴 압박 소생술을 수행하였다. 연구 결과 심폐소생술 지속시간에 따른 구조자의 혈중 젖산 농도, 심박동수, 주관적 피로도인 운동 자각도, 가슴 압박 속도는 유의미한 변화가 있었다(p<.001, p<.001, p<.001, p<.001). 매 측정 주기(30분, 40분, 50분, 60분) 시 혈중 젖산 농도는 심박동수와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타났으며(r=.696, p<.001, r=.672, p<.001, r=.709, p<.001, r=.782, p<.001), 운동자각도와도 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다(r=.476, p<.05, r=.426, p<.05, r=.470, p<.05, r=.470, p<.05). 따라서 장시간 심폐소생술이 요구되는 상황에서 심박동수와 운동자각도를 활용한 구조자의 피로도 모니터링은 고품질의 가슴 압박을 유지하는데 유용할 것이다.

  • Thermomechanical behavior of Al-Mg-Si alloys have been studied to investigate the effect of microstructural features such as pre-existing substructure and distribution of particles on the deformation characteristics. The controlled compression tests have been carried out to get the basic information on how the alloy responds to temperature, strain amount and strain rate. Then hot forging of Al-Mg-Si alloys has been carried out and analyzed by the comparison with the compression tests. Microstructural features after forging have been discussed in terms of the thermomechanical response of Al-Mg-Si alloys. As already well mentioned, we have found that the deformation of Al-Mg-Si at the elevated temperature brought the recovered structure on most conditions. In a certain time, however, abnormally large grains have been found as a result of deformation assisted grain growth, which means that hot forging of Al-Mg-Si alloys could lead to a undesirable microstructural variation and the consequent mechanical properties such as fatigue strength.

Experimental study on rock-concrete joints under cyclically diametrical compression

  • This paper presents experimental results of rock-concrete bi-material discs under cyclically diametrical compression. It was found that both specimens under cyclical and static loading failed in three typical modes: shear crack, tensile crack and a combined mode of shear and wing crack. The failure modes transited gradually from the shear crack to the tensile one by increasing the interface angle between the interface and the loading direction. The cycle number and peak load increased by increasing the interface angle. The number of cycles and peak load increased with the interface groove depth and groove width, however, decreased with increase in interface groove spacing. The concrete strength can contribute more to the cycle number and peak load for specimens with a higher interface angle. Compared with the discs under static loading, the cyclically loaded discs had a lower peak load but a larger deformation. Finally, the effects of interface angle, interface asperity and concrete strength on the fatigue strength were also discussed.

PET 재활용 고강도 폴리머 콘크리트보의 휨거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Flexural Behavior of High-strength Polymer Concrete Beams Using Recycled PET)

  • 폴리머 콘그리트는 시멘트 콘크리트에 비해 강도와 내구성에 탁월한 성능을 가지고 있기 때문에 건설현장에서도 다양한 용도로 개발되어 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 폴리머 콘그리트는 그 결합재로 쓰이고 있는 수지의 비용이 높아 PET를 재활용하여 콘크리트를 제조하면 제조 단가를 감소 시킬 수 있고, 환경파괴 및 환경오염의 방지에도 대처 할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 폐 PET를 합성한 불포화 폴리에스터 수지를 폴리머 콘크리트의 결합재로 이용하여 폴리머 콘크리트보를 제조하였으며 기본 구조적 거동을 파악하기 위하여 정적 휨 시험 및 피로 시험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 정적 실험시 압축응력 분포는 거의 삼각형의 선형적 분포를 나타내었으며, 연성 능력도 우수하게 나타났다. 그리고 피로실험결과 극한 하중값 및 처짐값 등이 정적실험만 실시한 경우와 유사하게 나타난 것으로 보아 PET 재활용 폴리머 콘크리트 보는 우수한 휨 거동 특성을 그대로 유지하는 것으로 나타났다.

이온질화 처리한 SM45C의 피로파괴거동에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Fatigue Fracture Behavior of Ion-Nitrided SM45C)

  • 본 연구에서는 이온질화처리한 SM45C강의 피로파괴거동, 피로크랙진전거동 및 부식피로파괴거동에 관한 $N_2:H_2$가스조정비와 이온질화처리시간에 대한 효과를 조사하였다. 실험에 사용된 모든 종류의 시험편의 피로한도와 부식피로강도는 $N_2$가스와 처리시간에 비례하여 증가하였다. 무처리 시험편에 비해 이온질화처리시험편은 피로한도 및 부식피로강도가 $10^7$싸이클의 공기중에서 $24{\sim}29%$, $10^6$싸이클의 3% NaCl 수용액 중에서는 $32{\sim}48%$ 증가하였다. 반복압축-인장하중을 받는 SM45C강은 이온질화처리시험편이 무처리시험편에 비해 피로한도 및 부식피로강도가 $10^6$싸이클의 공기중에서 $24{\sim}29%$증가하였고, 3% NaCl 수용액중과 수도물중에서 $32{\sim}48%$의 증가를 보였다. 이온질화처리한 SM45C강은 무처리시험편에 비해 낮은범위의 ${\Delta}K$ 영역에서는 균열진전속도가 느리고, 높은 ${\Delta}K$ 영역에서는 빨라졌다.

  • Previous investigators have shown that the frequency compression is related to the muscle fatigue and the decreasing conduction velocity of muscle fibers. The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between endurance times and frequency parameters such as mean power frequency and median frequency in the surface EMG signal during isotonic contractions. Eight healthy subjects performed voluntary isotonic contractions of biceps Brachii muscle until their endurance times which were determined when the subject could no longer follow the contraction cycle. The regressive slopes of mean power frequency and median frequency were used to describe the frequency compression of the surface EMG signal, and to test the predictability of endurance time. As results of experiment, significant correlations were found between endurance time and the regressive slopes of mean power frequency and mean frequency computed over 50%Tend of endurance time.

  • Rubber isolator has properties that can adjust easily stiffness and can be formed various shape. Also, it has high damping and is effective about structure-borne noise at high frequency range, So, rubber mount has widely used to isolate vibration at industrial equipment and construction field. However, rubber material is nonlinear and require enough consideration about shape factor whenever it is designed. The purpose of this paper is to develop conical rubber mount using compression and shear elasticity. The first, the dimension of mount is calculated by theoretical analysis considering design condition and static characteristics have been analyzed by FEM method. In addition, the fatigue test of rubber mount is performed to get reliability for product life and dynamic stiffness test is executed to get dynamic magnification factor. Finally, transmissibility test of vibration isolator has been carried out to suggest normal quantity data about vibration isolation.

  • Nutcracker증후군은 좌측 신정맥이 대동맥과 상장간막 동맥에 압박되어 발생하는 드문 질환으로 혈뇨, 단백뇨, 기립성 단백뇨의 원인이 된다. 초음파와 도플러 검사로 진단이 가능하다. 저자들은 기립성 단백뇨와 특발성 만성피로를 보인 보기드문 심한 Nutcracker 증후군 환아를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

고무차륜 경량전철의 구조강도 해석 연구 (Structural analysis of Rubber Tired AGT)

  • In this study, the carbody design of the rubber tired AGT(Automated Guide-way Transit System) under development by KRRI was numerically analysed to evaluate its structural strength according to the standard specifications for Korean LRT (Light Rail Transit). The numerical results showed that the detail design of the carbody was strong enough to satisfy the specifications with respect to the axial compression strength, the vertical strength and the vertical stiffness(natural frequency). However, the carbody design had some problems on the fatigue strength by twist loadings. So, it was recommended that the carbody design should be modified to improve the twisting strength by reinforcing the front end structures.
