통영-거제해역 수하연 양식 참굴(Crassostrea gigas)의 비만도 장기변화와 영향 요인 고찰 (Long-term Change and Factors Affecting the Fatness of the Pacific Oyster Crassostrea gigas in Tongyeong-Geoje Bays, Korea)

  • The decrease in fatness of the Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas, which consequently results in decrease in the profit of aquaculture industry, has become a source of serious concern in southeast coast of Korea. The ratio of flesh (edible portion) to total oyster weight, commonly called edible portion yield ("suyul" in Korean), have been used as a fatness index for the healthy and valuable state of oyster from the early stage of oyster farming in Korea. More than 360 data sets were collected from early culturing periods (in the 1970s) to the present from approximately 15 published literatures to evaluate the long-term fatness trend of oyster, reared particularly in submerged longline culturing system in Gyeongsangnam-do province. Slight decrease in oyster fatness during the 1970s to 1990s was detected in Tongyeong and Geoje Bays; however, from the 1990s to the present, clear decreasing trends were observed with a decrease of 0.04-0.08% year-1, especially during harvest season. Oyster mass production per unit area almost doubled within a short period in the early 2000s; however, changes in coastal environment factors inhibited the fattening of shellfish from the mid 1990s. These results indicate that the severe competition in feeding and low biological production in water column might be some convincing reasons for the decrease in fatness of oyster from the 1990s, in Tongyeong and Geoje Bays, Korea.

분말 폐굴껍질을 이용한 정수슬러지의 탈수 개선방안 (The Study on the Dewaterability Improvement of Water Treatment Sludge Using Powdered Waste Oyster Shells)

  • The object of this study is to find out the characteristics of waste oyster shells and determine the proper dosage of powdered waster oyster shells as the conditioning agent for water treatment sludge dewatering process. The large amount of waste oyster shells which discharges from the oyster farming, occurs serious environmental hazards. However, oysters shell contain large amount(about 38% by weight) of alkaline minerals, such as calcium and magnesium and so on, this natural material is thought to have the petential ability as a good conditioning agent. The results of this study are as follows. The optimum condition for improvement of the water treatment sludge dewaterability is when 6 g of waste oyster shell powder added to 200$m\ell$ of water treatment sludge. At optimum condition, the solid contents can reach to 31.78% and the specific resistance of conditioned sludge is 0.16$\times$10$^{8}$ sec$^2$/g. However, exceeding the of powdered waste oyster shell is needed to get the effective result. Consequently, the waste oyster shell can be a recyclable material to improve the dewaterability of water treatment sludges.

초고압력을 이용한 굴 박신기계에 관한 연구 (A study on the oyster shucking machine using super-high pressure)

  • By applying super-high pressure (150-250 MPa) to a sealed pressure vessel, it is possible to make oyster shucking machine that automatically opens two-sheet shellfish or oysters. Possibility of developing a shucking machine was confirmed by identifying the working pressure for meat of oysters produced in the southern coast and conducting sensory evaluation of meat oysters. As a result of confirming the shucked oysters under super-high pressure of 150 MPa in the pressure vessel, the number of type A with separated shells and well-separated meat was 22 and type B with both shells and internal meat and shells not separated. For the oysters that were treated at 175 MPa, there were 58 type As with shell separated and meat well separated and 42 type Bs without oyster shells and insides. When looking at the oysters shucked at 200 MPa in the pressure vessel, the number of type A was 86 and type B was 14 accounting for 86% of oysters with good marketability. As a result of shucking oysters by applying 250 MPa, 96% type A oysters and 4% type B oysters were obtained from the total specimen. The total specimen oyster weight used in the conducted experiment was 6 kg, the average oyster shell weight was 3.99 kg and the average oyster meat weight was 1.25 kg. Therefore, the fatness of oyster meat, which measures the added value of oysters, is 20.8%. Sensory evaluation was conducted on thinned oysters by hand and type A oysters shelled by machine with an operating pressure of 200 MPa. The hand-worked oyster sample scored 4.7 points only in salty taste, and scored 5.0 or higher in color, shape, smell, fishy taste, texture and preference.

  • Monthly Screening of Pacific oyster, Crassostrea gigas, was surveyed by PCR for Ostreid herpesvirus(OsHV-1) infections from 2012 to 2013 in Korea. It was showed positive results in one hatchery in April and May 2012 and in oyster farming areas from August to November in 2013. The obtained sequences showed 99.3~99.5% homology with OsHV-1 ${\mu}var$(Accession Number: HQ842610) and 96.2~96.3% homology with OsHV isolated from Korea(Accession Number: AY509253).

한산${\cdot}$거제만 굴 양식장의 양식밀도에 관한 연구 (FARMING DENSITY OF OYSTER IN HANSAN-GEOJE BAY)

  • 한산${\cdot}$거제만 굴 양식장에 관한 $1970\~1979$년까지 사이에 조사된 여러 가지 기존 자료와 1978년에 조사한 몇 가지 저질에 관한 조사자료를 토대로 한 굴양식장의 양식밀도에 관한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 각 양성장에 있어 양성중인 굴밀도와 양성장 저이중에 함유되어 있는 COD, 페오파이틴의 양으로부터 구한 저이오염도간에는 상관이 있었다. 저이오염도 12를 한산${\cdot}$거제만의 한계치로 하여 평균 수심에 따른 단위면적당 굴 뭉치 수(C)와 저이오염도 (M)간의 회선직선식은 뗏목식의 경우 M=2.7341+1.8945C, 로우프식의 경우 M=6.4565+1.0988C에 적용하여 추정된 적정 양식밀도는 수하연수로 $m^2$당 뗏목식 0.12연, 로우프식 0.25연이었다. 2. $1970\~1978$년간의 양식결과에서 뗏목당 수하연수가 $350\~558$연 사이에서는 수하연수가 많을 수록 뗏목당 생산량은 많았고, 뗏목 1태가 점유한 수면적이 $1,000\~6,000m^2$까지는 태당 점유면적의 증가에 따라 생산량도 증가하였다. 뗏목당수하연수$(S_R)$와 뗏목당 생산량$(P_R)$ 관계식인 $P_R=-1.1272+0.009823S_R$와 뗏목 점유 면적$(D_R)$과 수하연당 생산량$(A_R)$의 관계식인 $A_R=4.7254+0.000604D_R$에 출하중심시기의 뗏목당 생산량 3.2t을 대입하여 구한 적정 양식밀도는 $m^2$당 약 0.11 연이다. 3. 단위면적당 수하연수(S)와 수하연당 생산량 (P/S)의 관계식인 $\frac{P}{S}=11.7213-44.2472S$에서 단위 면적당 수하연수가 많을수록 수하연당 생산량은 직선적으로 감소하였고, 이 식의 변형인 포물선식인 $P=11.7213\;S-44.2472S^2$에 의하면 수하연당 생산량은 $m^2$당 0.13연 수준에 달하기 까지는 증가하고 이 수준을 넘으면 오히려 감소한다. 이때 기대되는 최대 생산량은 약 5,600t으로 추정된다. 4. 양식밀도와 저이오염도, 뗏목당 수하연수와 뗏목당 점유면적에 따른 생산량 및 수하연 밀도와 연당 생산량의 3가지 측면에서 검토한 결과를 종합하건데, 한산${\cdot}$거제만 굴 양식장에 있어, 적정 양식밀도는 수하연수로 $m^2$당, 뗏목식에서 $0.11\~0.13$연, 로우프식에서 0.25연으로 추정된다. 5. 현재 한산${\cdot}$거제만의 굴 양식밀도는 수하연수로 $m^2$당, 뗏목식에서 0.24연, 로우프식에서 0.28연으로서 적정 양식밀도의 한계치를 초과하고 있다.

개체굴 성장 데이터와 양식 FLUPSY 환경 데이터의 빅 데이터 분석 (Big Data Analysis on Oyster Growth and FLUPSY Environment)

  • In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, the application of big data analysis technology is crucial in various industries. In this regard, considerable research is necessary to improve aquafarming productivity, particularly in fish culture, which is one of the primary industries in the world. In this study, a sample experiment using a flop was conducted to improve oyster productivity in fish farms, and a flush was installed in an environment similar to aquaculture farms. Thereafter, the temperature data of the water environment where the formation of burrows considerably improved were collected; the growth rate of burrow seeds was also measured. The gathered experimental data were examined by time series data analysis. Finally, a system that visualizes the analysis results based on big data is proposed. In accord with the results of this study, it is expected that more advanced research on the productivity improvement of oyster aquafarming will be performed.

하수슬러지 및 굴껍질의 토지주입시 금속성분의 용출특성에 관한 연구 (The Dissolution Characteristics of Metal Compounds in Soil Application Experiment using Sewage Treatment Sludge mixed with Oyster shells)

  • 현재 우리나라에서는 하수슬러지의 매립과 해양투기가 금지되면서 슬러지의 적정처리 처분이 심각한 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 또한 국내 해안 양식업중에 비중이 높은 굴양식업에서 부산물로 다량 발생하는 굴껍질은 대부분 해안에 야적되어 연안어장의 오염, 공유수면 관리상의 지장, 자연경관의 훼손 및 보건위생상의 문제 등으로 환경문제를 초래하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 하수슬러지와 굴껍질의 재활용 측면에서 토지주입시 발생되는 금속성분의 용출특성을 검토하는데 그 목적이 있다. 용출 실험은 직경 100mm, 높이 100mm인 pot에 토양과 하수슬러지 및 굴껍질을 주입하였으며, 인공강우를 가하여 100일 동안 분석하였다. 실험결과 식물의 성장에 필수원소인 K, Na, Ca, Mg과 인체에 치명적인 유해중금속인 Cd, Cu, As, Pb, Cr, Hg은 모두 토양오염기준에 적합하게 판정되어 토양에 적용시 그 위해성이 적은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 굴껍질(pH 8.7) 과 하수슬러지(pH 6.8)를 밭토양(pH 5.2)에 적용한 결과 pH 완충능력을 가져와 금속성분을 용출을 억제시킨 것으로 판단된다.

느타리버섯 신품종 '대장3호'의 육성 (Breeding of a new oyster mushroom cultivar 'Daejang 3ho')

  • 갓색이 진한 장안5호와 기존에 다포자임의교배법으로 육성된 대가 길고 두꺼운 특징을 가지는 대장1호를 Di-mon교잡하여 '대장3호'를 육성하였다. 갓색은 진회색이며 갓모양은 깊은깔때기형이다. 대길이와 대굵기는 각각 77.4 mm와 13.5 mm로 춘추2호보다 두껍고 길었다. 초발이는 4-5일로 춘추2호와 비슷하였으며, 생육온도는 $14-17^{\circ}C$로 조금 낮은 편이었다. 춘추2호와 비교하여 수량은 13.9% 높았다. 생육시 습도가 높으면 춘추2호와 '대장3호'는 대표면이 회백색을 띄기도 하였다. URP-primer를 사용하여 RAPD를 하였으며, URP primer #03, #08, #10, #11에서 '대장3호'와 모균주, 그리고 다른 교잡균주들과 동일하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 대조직의 물리적 특성은 깨짐성과 응집성은 춘추2호보다 컸으며, 강도와 경도, 씹힘성은 춘추2호보다 낮았으나 통계적 유의성을 나타내지 않았다.

  • Since 1997, Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy and Ministry of Environment have established data on some 400 basic raw and subsidiary materials and process like energy, petro-chemical, steel, cement, glass, paper, construction materials, transportation, recycling and disposal etc by initiating establishment of LCI database. Regarding agriculture, Rural Development Administration has conducted establishment of LCI database for major farm products like rice, barley, beans, cabbage and radish etc from 2009, and released that they would establish LCI database for 50 items until 2020 later on. The domestic LCI database for seeds, seedling, agrochemical, inorganic, fertilizer and organic fertilizer etc is only at initial stage of establishment, so overseas LCI databases are brought and being used. However, since the domestic and overseas natural environments differ, they fall behind in reliability. Therefore, this study has the purpose to select organic farming materials, survey the production process for various types of organic farming materials and establish LCI database for the effects of greenhouse gas emitted by each crop during the process. As for selecting methods, in this study organic farming materials were selected in the method of direct observation of material and bottom-up method a survey method with focus on the organic farming materials admitted into rice production. For the basic unit of carbon emission amount by the production of 1kg of organic farming material, the software PASS 4.1.1 developed by Korea Accreditation Board under Ministry of Knowledge Economy was used. The study had the goal to ultimately provide basic unit to calculate carbon emission amount in executing many institutions like goal management system and carbon performance display system etc in agricultural sector to be conducted later on. As a result, emission basic units per 1kg of production were calculated to be 0.04968kg-$CO_2$ for oystershells, 0.004692kg-$CO_2$ for expanded rice hull, and 1.029kg-$CO_2$ for bordeaux mixture liquid.

한국산 굴의 저온진공건조 열전달특성에 관한 연구 (Low temperature vacuum drying heat transfer characteristics of Korean raw oysters)

  • 굴은 향기가 좋고 영양성분이 풍부하며 질병 예방의 기능성이 높은 우수한 수산식품으로 동서양인 모두가 선호한다. 대량으로 생산된 굴의 보관 및 유통의 편의성을 증가시키는 가장 좋은 방법은 건조하는 것인데, 기존의 열풍건조나 동결건조에 의할 경우에는 굴의 육질이 매우 약하여 향과 영양 성분의 파괴가 많아 완전건조가 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 $15^{\circ}C$ 저온진공건조기술을 이용하여 한국산 양식 생굴과 자연산 생굴을 완전 건조하는 과정에서 진공상태하의 진공열전달특성에 관한 실험적 결과를 보고하였다.
