농촌 주택 표준설계도에 관한 연구 (A study on rural housing plan and application of standard farm-house design)

  • 표준설계도란 농촌주택설계를 위한 시간적, 경제적인 부담을 줄여주기 위하여 설계도를 미리 작성하여 두고 건축하고자 하는 국민의 취향에 따라 이를 선택적으로 이용할 수 있도록 건설교통부장관이 공고한 설계도를 말한다.(건축법 제19조 4항, 같은 법 시행령 제18조) 본 연구에서는 이러한 표준설계도의 취지와 내용을 분석하고 농촌에서의 적용이라는 관점에서 그 한계와 개선점을 살펴보았다.

전업양축농가를 위한 남부지방 돈사의 구존 및 환경실태조사 (Field Survey of structural and Environmental Characteristics of Pig Houses in the Southern Provinces in Korea)

  • The structural and environmental characteristics of typical pig houses in different growth phases were surveyed and analyzed. Based on the data for thirty nine selected farms in four provinces, Jeonbuk-do, Jeonnam-do, Gyeongbuk-do, and Gyeongnam-do, in the southern provinces, Korea, the goal is to eventually establish standard pig houses of sow and litter, nursery pigs, and growing-finishing pigs. The survey included farm scale, production specialization, structural dimensions of the houses and their ventilation systems, cooling and heating systems, and floor and pit systems related to manure collection. The survey showed 90∼98% of growing-finishing pig houses adopted the sidewall curtain systems. The sidewall curtain systems, although popular, is not well insulated which leads to excessive heating costs in winter. Regarding flooring and manure collection system of the house, 23∼35% of growing-finishing houses installed scraper systems with concrete-slat floors in Gyeongsang provinces while 52∼78% did in Jeolla provinces. The cause of a large variance in flooring between tow regions could not be academically pinpointed, rather it could be attributed to the advice of neighbors who leads local pig production circle. A general trend toward enlargement and enclosure of pig houses for all growth phases was gaining popularity in most regions in recent years. A steady shift to multisite operation from continuous operation was also observed to prevent a disease transfer. The structural design of a standard pig house with its environmental control systems including ventilation and heating/cooling system was suggested for further validation study. The survey included farm scale, production specialization, structural dimensions of the houses and their ventilation systems, cooling and heating systems, and floor and pit systems related to manure collection. The survey showed 90∼99% of growing-finishing curtain installation rate was lower by 10∼20%. The sidewall curtain system, although popular, is not well insulated which leads to excessive heating costs in winter. Regarding flooring and manure collection system of the house, there was quite a lot variability among provinces, with 30∼80% of the houses installing scraper systems with concrete-slat floors in comparison with 30∼60% using a slurry system. Gangwon-do and Choongbook Chungwoo-goon are the predominant regions that installed a scraper system. A general trend toward enlargement and enclosure of pig houses for all growth phases was gaining popularity in most regions in recent years. A steady shift to three site production from a lumped system was also observed to prevent a disease transfer. The structural design of a standard pig house with its environmental control systems including ventilation and heating/cooling system was suggested for further validation study. 구제역 관리를 위한 혈청학적 예찰계획 평가 (Evaluation of Serological Surveillance System for Improving Foot-and-Mouth Disease Control)

  • The primary goal of this study was to compute sample sizes required to achieve the each aim of a variety of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) surveillance programs, using a statistically valid technique that takes the following factors into account: sensitivity (Se) and specificity (Sp) of diagnostic test system, desired minimum detectable prevalence, precision, population size, and desired power of the survey. In addition, sample sizes to detect FMD if the disease is present and also as proof of freedom were computed. The current FMD active surveillance programs consist of clinical, virological, and serological surveillance. For the 2012 serological surveillance, annual sample sizes (n = 265,065) are planned at four separate levels: statistical (n = 60,884) and targeted (n = 115,232) at breeding pig farms and slaughter house, in together with the detection of structural proteins (SP) antibodies against FMD (n = 88,949). Overall, the sample size was not designed taking the specific aims of each surveillance stream into account. The sample sizes for statistical surveillance, assuming stratified two-stage sampling technique, was based to detect at least one FMD-infected case in the general population. The resulting sample size can be used to obtain evidence of freedom from FMD infection, not for detecting animals that have antibodies against FMD virus non-structural proteins (NSP). Additionally, sample sizes for targeted surveillance were not aimed for the population at risk, and also without consideration of statistical point of view. To at least the author's knowledge, sampling plan for targeted, breeding pig farms and slaughter house is not necessary and need to be included in the part of statistical surveillance. Assuming design prevalence of 10% in an infinite population, a total of 29 animals are required to detect at least one positive with probability of 95%, using perfect diagnostic test system (Se = Sp = 100%). A total of 57,211 animals needed to be sampled to give 95% confidence of estimating SP prevalence of 80% at the individual animal-level with a precision of ${\pm}5%$, assuming 800 herds with an average 200 heads per farm, within-farm variance of 0.2, between-farm variance of 0.05, cost ratio of 100:1 of farm against animals. Furthermore, 779,736 animals were required to demonstrate FMD freedom, and the sample size can further be reduced depending on the parameters assumed.

농촌 노인의 일.여가활동 유형에 따른 삶의 만족감 (Study on Life Satisfaction of Groups According to Farm Work and Leisure Activity in Rural Elderly)

  • This study aims to find out ways of improving life satisfaction of rural elderly by investigating their work and leisure activity, two significant axis of the life in later life. For this purpose, researchers and one assistant researcher visited house, senior citizen's center and health center, in order to have interviews with senior citizen above 65, who are currently working in the field. The summary of the research findings are as follows; First, the average size of the farm land which each senior citizen works on is $9,237.92m^2$ and they mostly work for economic reason. During farming season, they work on average 8.62 hour per day. As primary reasons for why farming work is difficult, "insufficient income" was picked. In fact, the average annual income senior citizens earn from farming is about 15.4 million won. 49.1% of sample senior citizens work both on watered farm and farm, and they are engaged in farming 48.82 years on average, showing that most of their lives have been spent on farming. In spite of these difficulties, most senior citizens showed high intention to continue farming work further. Second, senior citizens turn out to spend their leisure time mostly on public leisure activities such as watching TV, hearing radio and gatherings with families, relatives. However, individual activities such as meditation, yoga, drawing and calligraphy turn out to be low because they require foundations to enjoy. Third, senior citizen in rural areas were divided into four groups by farm work and leisure activity: group separated from work and leisure activity(27.09%), group centered to leisure activity(24.42%), group centered to work(23.75%), and group integrated work and leisure activity(23.75%). Fourth, the groups were different depending on demographic characteristics. Namely, male senior citizen, higher educational level, living in elderly couple households, and satisfied with their economic level belonged to the group integrated work and leisure activity. But senior citizen aged above 65 years old and working for their livelihood belonged to the group centered to work, and most of female and senior citizen aged above 80 years old belonged to the group separated from work and leisure activity. Finally, as the result of analysis of differences in life satisfaction according to farm work and leisure activity of senior citizen in rural areas, the group integrated work and leisure activity, and group centered to leisure activity were higher in life satisfaction than the group separated from work and leisure activity, and group centered to work. The above result indicates that life satisfaction of senior citizen depends upon leisure activity rather than work.

충남 서부지역 돈군에서 분리된 Bordetella bronchiseptica의 성상에 대한 연구 (Studies on the properties of Bordetella bronchiseptica isolated from the pig herds in Western Chungnam)

  • During 2 years from Octorber 1992 to April 1994, prevalence of general respiratory diseases and atrophic rhinitis in the pig herds located in the Western Chungnam was investigated, and isolation of B. bronchiseptica was attempted for the pigs manifested with the clinical signs of atrophic rhinitis(AR). The isolates were characterized and identified in aspects of biochemical properties, antigenicity, drug sensitivity and pathogenicity. The results obtained through the experiments are summarized as follows; 1. During 2 years of investigation, the overall prevalence of the general respiratory diseases in the pi8 herds in Western Chungnam was 35.3%, consisting of 35.1% in the pig farms and 38.8% in a slaughter house. The prevalence by age groups accounts for 9.2% in adults, 44.7% in rearings and 25.3% in sucklings. By farm size, The highest prevalence of 56.5% was observed in the smallest farm with 1 to 200 heads. 2. The prevalence of clinical cases of artrophic rhinitis was recorded by 12.7% in the group that is the sows and piglets vaccinated, 28.9% in the group that is the sows only vaccinated and 39.8% in the group of the non-vaccinated groups. In the slaughter house, 53(24.8%) of 214 pigs examined exhibit the AR lesions. 3. A total of 189 strains of B. bronchiseptica were isolated from the pig herds. Isolation rates were 12.6% in the group that is the sows and piglets vaccinated, 34.1% in the group that is the sows only vaccinated and 45.7% in the group of the non-vaccinated groups. Isolation rate in the specimen from the slaughter house was 93( 43.5% ) of 214 pigs examined. Of the AR-non-vaccinated group, the piglets aged bet- ween 61 to 90 days revealed the highest isolation rate of 58.5%. 4. The titers of antibody against B. bronchiseptica were measured by tube agglutination test. The group that is the sow and piglet-vaccinated showed the highest titer of 640-2, 560 in sow and 640longrightarrow5, 120 in piglet. The group that is the sows only-vaccinated revealed 640-2, 560 in sows and 640-1, 280 in piglets. Both of the vaccinated groups showed 100% positive reaction. The group of the non-vaccinated sho-wed relatively lower titer of 0-1, 280 in both of sows and piglets. The positive rate of the sera obtained from the slaughter house was 53.3% with the antibody titer of 0-1, 280. 5. Biochemical and serological properities of 189 isolates were very similar to those of the reference B. bronchiseptical phase I type, indicating that most of isolates are B. bronchiseptica phase I type. 6. In antimicrobial drug susceptibility, 87.3% of 189 isolates was susceptible to chloramphenicol, 79.9%, to amikacin, 64.6%, to cephalothin and less than 35.4% to others. 7. In agar-gel immunodiffusion and SDS-PAGE analysis, the isolates presented the identical antigenicity and protein profiles to the reference standard strains. 8. The whole cells and bacterial filtrates of the isolates were inoculated to guinea pigs and mice. The isolates showed the hish pathogenicity and dermonecrotoxiciy.

GIS를 이용한 농지 잠재생산성평가 (Appraisal of Farmland Potential Productivity Using GIS)

  • 이 연구는 지리정보시스템(GIS)로 구한 토지생산성지수(FPI)와 노동생산성지수(LPI)를 적용하여 농지의 잠재생산성지수(PPI)를 산정할 수 있는 모형을 개발하였고, 최근 경지정리사업이 완료된 지구에 적용하여 개발된 모형의 적용성을 검토하였다. 토지 생산성지수(FPI)는 분석대상지역의 토양 특성 Poly Grid를 중첩하여 결정하였으며, 노동생산성 지수(LPI)는 직접생산비중 GIS Network 분석으로 구한 통작거리와 논지분포에 따른 노력비 추가분을 전체 직접생산비에 대하 비율로 환산하였다. 마수지구와 원천지구의 개별 농지에 대한 전체생산성지수(PPI)는 각각 0.967∼0.712, 0.986∼0.780으로 비교적 큰 변이를 나타낼 수 있어 농지 평가에 대한 객관적인 자료로 적용할 수 있을 것이다. 농지의 잠재생산성지수를 경지정리 사업의 환지사업, 농민상호간에 농지교환 및 합병사업에 적용함으로써 농지의 규모화 및 집단화을 유도하고 농지생산성을 극대화할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 비닐하우스내(內) 풋고추 재배단지에서 카바이트 부산소석회 시용(施用)에 의(依)한 피해실태조사와 그 원인(原因)을 구명(究明)하기 위하여 재현시험을 실시한 결과(結果) 1. 카바이트 부산소석회 시용구에서는 정식후(定植後) 새 뿌리 발생이 전연 안되었으며 엽면(葉面)에는 많은 암갈색(暗褐色) 얼룩점이 산재(散在)하였고 위조낙엽(萎凋落葉)되면서 뿌리 내림이 불량(不良)하였다. 2. 카바이트 부산소석회 시용구의 식물체는 소석회 시용구의 식물체보다 호흡량(呼吸量)이 떨어졌다. 3. 카바이트 부산소석회에는 아세틸렌가스($C_2H_2$) 발생이 많았고 이 석회를 시용(施用)한 피해(被害) 토양에서도 가스가 발생되었으며 발생량이 많을수록 고추의 피해(被害)가 심(甚)하였다.

축산폐수의 혐기성 충전층과 유동층 생물막법에 의한 처리효율의 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on Treatment Efficiencies by Anaerobic Packed and Fluidized-bed Biofilm of Livestock Wastewater)

  • This study was conducted in order to evaluate the treatment efficiencies of anaerobic packed and fluidized-bed biofilm and to investigate applicability in treating livestock wastewater. Biocarbonate alkalinity(BA) and volatile fatty acid(VFA) were about 3,230-3,270 mg/l, 3,790-3,126 mg/l(as CaCO$_3$) and 224-402 mg/l, 141-387 mg/l(as CH$_3$COOH), and VFA/BA ratio was about 0.069~0.12, 0.045-0.12 in packed and fluidized-bed biofilm. When COD loading rate was 6.0 kg COD/$m^3\cdot$ day in packed and fluidized-bed biofilm, methane gas production were 3.23 l/day and 4.38 l/day, respectively. In the same COD loading rate, methane gas production volumes per kg COD removal were 0.25 m$^3$ CH$_4$/kg COD$_{rm}$ and $0.28 m^3 CH_4/kg COD^{rm}$, respectively. At this time, it could be estimated that fluidized-bed biofilm was more high. In case of HRT 0.94 day(6.0 kg COD/$m^3\cdot$ day) and 11 day(0.5 kg COD/$m^3\cdot$ day), packed-bed biofilm showed 59% and 81% COD removal efficiency, respectively. While fluidized-bed biofilm showed 72% and 85% removal efficiency, respectively. It was showed that fluidized-bed biofilm was more efficient. Packed-bed biofilm was higher than fluidized in treatment efficiencies of organic matters, but required continuous treatment using combined system, because it was very exceeded over an environmental standard solidified from '96 year. In operating fluidized-bed biofilm, if farm house consider high power cost according to high circulation ratio in an economic point of view, it would have an effect that farm house use packed-bed biofilm as combined system in treating livestock wastewater.

신재생에너지 도입에 따른 시설재배의 경제성 분석 -목재팰릿, 지열과 경유의 비교분석을 중심으로- (Economical Feasibility of Cultivation under Structure Due to the Introduction of New and Renewable Energy -Comparative Analysis of Wood-Pellet, Geothermal Heat and Diesel-)

  • We are now currently facing serious climate changes such as super typhoon, flood, intense heat, severe cold, super hurricane, drought, desertification, destruction of ecosystem, marine pollution, reduction of food production, destruction of tropical forests, exhaustion of water resources, climate refugees, etc. All of the above mainly derive from greenhouse gas exhaustion. Such harmful consequence might directly affect mankind's sustainable development. If we keep using resources that emits greenhouse gases, the global temperature will rise about $3.2^{\circ}C$ by year 2050. In case of $3^{\circ}C$ rise in temperature, it will result in abnormal climate which will bring about severe property damage. Moreover, 20~50% of the ecosystem will become extinct. As Korea's economy increasingly expands, so do our energy consumption rises. And because of the consequences that can be driven by increasing rate of resource use, not just Korea itself, but also the whole world should seriously concern about greenhouse gases. Although agricultural division only takes up about 3.2% of total greenhouse gas emission, the ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs are taking voluntary actions to gradually reduce $CO_2$ and so does each and every related organizations. In order to reduce $CO_2$, introduction of new and renewable energy in farm house warming is crucial. In other words, implementing wood-pellet boiler and geothermal heat boiler can largly reduce $CO_2$ emission compared to diesel boiler. More importantly, not only wood-pellet and geothermal heat is pollution-free but they also have economic advantages some-what. In this thesis, the economic advantage and sustainablity will be introduced and proved through comparing practical analysis of surveyed farm house under structure employing wood-pellet boiler and geothermal heat boiler with Agriculture-Economic Statistic of 2012 who uses diesel boiler.
