원적외선 면상발열체에 의한 온실 난방시스템의 열특성 분석 (Thermal Energy Characteristics for Greenhouse Heating System with Far-Infrared Heater)

  • The greenhouse heating system with far-infrared heater was built to analyze various thermal characteristics, such as greenhouse air temperature, soil temperature, energy flow, energy consumption in far-infrared heater, and other factors, which could be used in comparison with other greenhouse heating system in this study. The results showed that the inside air temperature of the far-infrared greenhouse heating system was $5^{\circ}C$ higher than that of hot air heating system. Heat loss of daytime was found to be larger than that of night time as much as 44.8% for the heating system with far-infrared heater. In the heating system with far-Infrared heater, when the lowest ambient temperature was -8 $\sim$ -7$^{\circ}C$, the air temperature of greenhouse was 12 $\sim$ 15$^{\circ}C$, thus the far-infrared heating system was shown to be feasible for heating system. Energy consumption of far-infrared heating system was shown to be less than that of hot air heating system.

  • This paper aims to study several type heaters which are mica heater, film heater, quartz heater and rod heater and to get an temteraturel and electrical characteristics. These four type heaters have a merit in many fields than present electric heater with nichrome wire. Carbon and mica plate heater have higher heat efficiency and less electromagnetic waves. Also it has been reported that far infrared ray emission from this heater is good for our health. Additionally heating element is thin and lighter plate. For these reasons, they will be widely used to various application such as room-heating or manufacturing goods. Experimental result confirmed that when 220V current authorized, the temperature, electric current, electric power and the resistance rise to stationary state in early stage. Moreover, the temperatures and electric characteristics show a good stability.

  • This study was conducted to develop a new drying method far reducing the drying cost and time and to investigate the drying characteristics of oak mushroom. A far infrared dryer of down draft air flow type used for this experiment can control the drying parameters, such as far infrared heater temperature and aeration velocity. The far infrared drying tests were performed at aeration velocities of 0.3 and 0.6m/s under the temperature of 90 and 100$^{\circ}C$ in for infrared heater, respectively. The results were compared and analyzed with those of an heated air drying method used as a control in terms of properties representing the drying characteristics. such as shrinkage rate, color, energy consumption amino acid components, drying rate and moisture ratio. The results obtained from this research can be summarized as follows. 1. The drying rate of far infrared drying was faster than that of heated air drying. With high temperature of far infrared heater and slow aeration velocity, the far infrared drying of down draft air flow type was superior to the heated air drying. 2. Most of far infrared drying conditions required less energy consumption than heated air drying. 3. The shrinkage rates of heated air drying and far infrared drying were decreased by 17.0% and 18.2∼19.8%, respectively. 4. The difference of color on oak mushroom surface before and after drying can be represented as $\Delta$E. $\Delta$E values of far infrared drying and heated air drying were 2.39∼4.55 and 6.77, respectively. 5. The amounts of free amino acids were higher in the far infrared than in the heated air drying. In addition the amounts of Gln and Glu generally were increased and those of Ala, Leu, and Val were decreased in order.

탄소섬유 발열체를 이용한 증기 보일러 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on the Development of Steam Boiler using Carbon-fiber Heater)

  • Carbon fiber shows excellent heat generation value and thermal efficiency comparing with the metallic materials because of its far infrared-rays and radiant heat. So, high performance and economic steam boiler system for the industry can be manufactured by using the carbon fiber heater. The far infrared ray radiation rate was more than 90 % of carbon fiber. Steam boiler system with carbon fiber heater in this study is made up of heating section. In the proof test of steam boiler, the aimed temperature and dwelling time were at $500^{\circ}C$ for 8,000 hours, $600^{\circ}C$-3,000 hours, and $700^{\circ}C$-1,000 hours. The temperature rise rate of steam boiler with carbon fiber heater was about 40% faster than that of the conventional boiler.

  • 본 연구에서는 화재사례를 기반으로 원적외선 히터에서 출화된 화재의 원인 분석에 관하여 연구하였다. 전기히터의 화재는 열선에 용융 흔적으로 판단하여 과열 사고로 취급하는 오류를 범하기 쉽다. 이에 대해 히터의 화재 원인 규명에 있어서 객관적인 자료를 확보하기 위한 방법으로 정상 제품과 비교하여 다양한 재현 실험 및 분석기기를 이용하여 화재 원인을 분석하였다. 열선에 부착된 용융 흔적은 다른 금속 물질에 의한 층간 단락의 형태를 보이나 SEM/EDX로 성분분포를 분석한 결과 철-크롬-알루미늄이 혼합된 열선의 성분이외에 다른 금속 물질은 발견되지 않았다. 또한 층간단락 및 과전압에 의한 과열 실험을 수행한 결과 정상보다 높은 발열 상태를 보이나 화재 가능성은 없었다. 본 논문에서는 원적외선 히터에서 발생한 화재의 원인 분석을 토대로 하여 소손된 전열기의 화염 특성 및 물리 화학적 특성을 입체 분석하여 전기재해 원인 분석의 과학화에 기여하고자 한다.

  • This paper presents an innovative prototype of a new conceptual electromagnetic induction heated type far infrared rays radiant heating appliance using the voltage-fed quasi-resonant ZVS-PWM high frequency inverter using IGBTs for food cooking and processing which operates under a constant frequency variable power regulation scheme. This power electronic appliance with soft switching high frequency inverter using IGBTs has attracted special interest from some advantageous view points of safety, cleanliness, compactness and rapid temperature response, which is more suitable for consumer power electronics applications.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the drying characteristics of oak mushroom using stationary far-infrared dryer. Drying characteristics was measured at drying air velocity 0.4 to 0.6 m/s and drying temperature 50, 60, and 70$^{\circ}C$, respectively. With high temperature of far-infrared heater and fast air velocity, the far-infrared drying rate of double air flow system was better than conventional heated-air drying as much as 39%. The value of color difference (E) of oak mushroom before and after drying was 8.95 by using heated air drying and was in the range of 3.76$\sim$6.98 by the far-infrared drying. The shrinkage rate of oak mushroom after heated air drying was higher than that of air velocity, 0.6 m/s of far-infrared drying conditions, and was lower than that of air velocity, 0.4 m/s of far-infrared drying conditions. The content of free amino acid was higher in far-infrared drying than heated air drying.

원적외선 난방시스템이 방울토마토 생육에 미치는 영향 (Growth Characteristics of Cherry Tomato in Greenhouse using Far Infrared Heating Systems)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the growth characteristics of cherry tomatoes in greenhouse using far infrared heating system. The far infrared greenhouse heating systems were installed in two ways on the greenhouse side wall and at the greenhouse ceiling. The heating characteristics of far infrared heating system were analyzed by investigating the heating load, internal temperature, energy consumption, growth characteristics and quality evaluation. The results were compared with heated air heating system using kerosene. The results showed that tomatoes grown in the greenhouse with the far infrared heating system had relatively better plant height, leaf length, leaf width, stem diameter than ones from the greenhouse with hot air heating system and both heating methods had no significant difference on Cherry tomato sugar contents. At the same time, the far infrared heating system reduced heating cost from 34.5 to 41.4% on comparing with hot air heating system.

산삼배양근의 원적외선 건조특성 (Far Infrared Rays Drying Characteristics of Tissue Cultured Mountain Ginseng Roots)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the drying characteristics of tissue cultured mountain ginseng roots. The far infrared rays dryer of a double blast system used for this experiment can control the drying parameters such as far infrared heater temperature and air velocity. The far infrared rays drying tests of tissue cultured mountain ginseng roots were performed at air velocity of 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 m/s, under drying air temperature of 50, 60, and $70^{circ}C$, respectively. The results were compared with one obtained by the heated air drying method. The drying characteristics such as drying rate, color, energy consumption, saponin components and antioxidant activities were analyzed. The results showed that the drying rate of far infrared rays drying was faster than that of heated air drying and due to high temperature of drying air and fast air velocity, the far infrared rays drying of double blast type was superior to the heated air drying. The value of the color difference for heated air drying was 10.11${\sim}$12.99 and that of far infrared rays drying was in the range of 7.05${\sim}$7.54, which was in the same drying condition, also energy consumption of far infrared rays drying was in the range of 3575${\sim}$6898 kJ/kg-water. At the same time, the antioxidant activities using far infrared rays drying were higher than those using heated air drying.
