조합논리회로의 결함검출 (Fault Detection in Comvinational Circuits)

  • 본논문에서는 조합논리회로의 결함검출에 관한 문제를 취급하였는데 먼저 fan-out가 없는 회로에 대한 결함검출방법을 논하고 이 방법을 fan-out가 있는 회로에 확장하였다. Fan-out가 있는 회로에서는 내부 fan-out점을 전후하여 fan-out가 없는 부분회로로 분리구분하고 우선 각 부분회로에 대한 최소테스트집합을 구한다. 다음에 각 부분테스트집합사이에서 최대한으로 병립가능한 테스트를 조합하여 전체회로에 대한 종합적인 입력테스트벡터를 구한다. 이와같은 절차에 의하면 테스트수가 최소인 완전테스트집합이 용이하게 구해질 뿐만 아니라 검출가능한 결함 및 불가능한 결함이 명확하게 판가름 된다.

멀티캐스트 교환기내 혼합 트래픽의 성능분석 (Blocking Probability of Hererogeneous Traffic in a Multicast Switch)

  • 단일 교환기로 다양한 유형을 효율적으로 지원할 수 잇는 멀티캐스트 교환기는 광대역 종합망의 성공적인 확산에 필요 불가결한 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 멀티캐스트 교환기에서 이질적 트래픽이 혼합된 환경을 가정하고 회선 에뮬레이션 트래픽의 성능을 분석하였다. 기존의 연구에서, 모든 호가 동일한 fan-out을 갖는 동질 트래픽 환경에서 fan out이 증가함에 따라 호 불통률이 급격히 증가하는 것이 관찰되었다. 본 논문에서는 fan-out이 서로 다른 호가 혼합된 이질 트래픽 환경에서는 fan-out에 따른 호 불통률 차이가 동절 트래픽 경우보다 오히려 증가하는 결과를 도출하였다. 이 결과는 멀티캐스트 교환기에서 멀티캐스트 호의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 효율적인 자원 할당 알고리듬을 사용해야 한다는 것을 지적하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 멀티캐스트 교환기의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 몇가지 방안을 제시하였다.

조합논리회로의 다중결함검출 (Multiple Fault Detection in Combinational Logic Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 분기가 있는 일반조합논리회로의 다중결함을 검출할 수 있는 테스트집합을 구하는 절차를 유도하였다. 일반논리회로를 우선 내부분기점을 전후하여 이를 분기가 없는 부분회로로 분리하고 각 부분회로에 대한 최소테스트집합을 구한다. 다음에 각 부분테스트를 최대한으로 병립시켜 합성테스트를 구하여 종합적인 일차입력벡터를 정한다. 이러날 수 있는 모든 결함을 빠짐없이 피복할 수 있는 최소테스트집합을 구해가는 과정에 대해서는 각 를 들어 상세히 설명하였다. In this paper, a procedure for deriving of multiple fault detection test sets is presented for fan-out reconvergent combinational logic networks. A fan-out network is decomposed into a set of fan-out free subnetworks by breaking the internal fan-out points, and the minimal detecting test sets for each subnetwork are found separately. And then, the compatible tests amonng each test set are combined maximally into composite tests to generate primary input binary vectors. The technique for generating minimal test experiments which cover all the possible faults is illustrated in detail by examples.

벽걸이에어컨의 원심홴에 대한 과도진동 규명 및 저감 (Transient Vibration Identification and Reduction of a Centrifugal Fan for a Wall-installed Air-conditioner)

  • In this paper, experiment and dynamics simulations were carried out to identify and reduce the out-of-plane vibration that occurs in a centrifugal fan of an air conditioner installed to a wall. In a wall-installed air conditioner, large space between a case and heat exchanger is often required for the fan to avoid the collision with the case and exchanger. This large space hinders the slim design of the air conditioner even if air conditioner market demands a slim air conditioner. In the present study, in order to determine the cause of the vibration in the centrifugal fan, the out-of-plane vibration and the physical properties were investigated, and the dynamic characteristics of the centrifugal fan were obtained by experiments. Based on these experiments, a dynamic simulation model was established to determine the cause of the out-of-plane vibration of the centrifugal fan. It was found that the main factor of out-of-plane vibration in the centrifugal fan is the axial misalignment between the centrifugal fan and the motor shaft.

냉장고용 저소음 신형상홴의 최적 형상에 관한 연구 (Study on the Optimal Shape of Low Noise, New Concept Fan for Refrigerator)

  • In this paper, new concept, low noise axial fan was developed. The fan was designed to operate at high-pressure condition inside the refrigerator. This fan - we call it Alpha fan - has small turbo blades at trailing edge of axial fan. These turbo blades make alpha fan operate at high pressure and low noise condition. In order to find out the optimal value of design parameters, 6-sigma method was used. The design parameters are ratio between inner and outer diameter, Height, Install angle and Install position of turbo blade. Optimal value of turbo blade was found out and the noise generated from this fan is reduced about 3dB(A).

  • This paper described operation and vibration characteristics of 'Tail-Fan' performance test system. KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) developed 'Tail-Fan' system as a kind of helicopter anti-torque system(ATS) and designed ATS performance test-rig for Tail-Fan system performance test. Test-rig consists of driving parts, supporting parts and rotating parts. For Tail-Fan system performance tests, firstly, test-rig operation tests were carried out for verification of design specifications. Secondly, natural frequencies of fan blade and test-rig were measured respectively. Lastly, to find the operation rotating speed for performance tests, vibration tests using accelerometers on tail gear box(TGB) were carried out. Through the fanplot and vibration test results, Tail-Fan performance test conditions to avoid a resonance were found and performance tests were well done safely.

Crossflow fan에 의한 컴퓨터 케이스 내부의 유동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Flow Characteristics in Computer Case by Crossflow Fan.)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out a flow characteristics when a crossflow-fan is installed inside the computer case and to provide information about the preliminary data of cooling efficiency of CPU and a flow inside and outside of a computer case. Under the condition of operating the fan inside the experimental duct we changed the position of a installation of the slot, and the experiment measured with PIV and the results are as follows. Under the influence of the crossflow-fan installed to the air discharging side, mean velocity between 35 to 45 on the point 80 of the Slot 0.2.3 of the case increased and it influences discharging the air inside of the computer case. On the left-upper end. which isn't directly influenced by the suction-discharging fan installed inside the PC, a flow occurs caused by vortex due to the Sirocco-Fan and Slot installed on the center of the right side. We can see that a flow distribution increases when the Sirocco-Fan operates and a whirl appears stronger between the slot and the suction fan. It is thought that this phenomenon is influenced by a flow while it is on the way of entering from the suction-fan and going out to the discharging-fan.

Structure and Vibration Analyses of Low Speed Contra-Rotating Fan Stage with High Aspect Ratio

  • Contra-rotating fan is comprised of two rotors which are rotating in the opposite direction. The fan stages are named rotor-1 and rotor-2. Benefits from the use of contra rotation are in terms of better efficiency and improved thrust to weight ratio. Failure of contra-rotating fan stage blade in-service results in safety risks, repair costs, and revenue losses. This paper focuses on the vibration analysis and one way fluid-structure interaction of high aspect ratio, low speed contrarotating fan rotors. Modal analysis and modal pre-stress analysis of contra-rotating fan rotors were carried out to calculate the natural frequencies, One way fluid-structure interaction (FSI) was carried out where the computational analysis of the blades was performed using ANSYS CFX. The boundary conditions for CFD analysis were considered from the actual experimental velocity flow field at the inlet and pressure outlet. Based on the results obtained from the CFD analysis, the structural analysis such as deformation and Von-Misses stresses was carried out by using the finite element method (FEM) with ANSYS. The results provide necessary guidelines for the safe running of the contra-rotating fan. The analysis also will be helpful to understand the change of flow behavior due to a rotor deformation.

재생형 송풍기의 고효율 저소음 설계를 위한 통합형 최적설계 프로그램 개발 (Development of An Integrated Optimal Design Program for Design of A High-Efficiency Low-Noise Regenerative Fan)

  • A multi-objective optimization of a regenerative fan for enhancing the aerodynamic and aeroacoustic performance was carried out using an integrated fan design system, namely, Total FAN-Regen$^{(R)}$. The Total FAN-Regen$^{(R)}$ was developed for non-specialists to carry out a series of design process, viz., computational preliminary design, three-dimensional aerodynamic and aeroacoustic analyses, and design optimization, for a regenerative fan. An aerodynamic analysis of the regenerative fan was conducted by solving three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations using the shear stress transport turbulence model. And, an aeroacoustic analysis of the regenerative fan was implemented in a finite/infinite element method by solving the variational formulation of Lighthill's analogy based on the results of the unsteady flow analysis. An optimum shape obtained by Total FAN-Regen$^{(R)}$ shows the enhanced efficiency and decreased sound pressure level as much as 1.5 % and 20.0 dB, respectively, compared to those of the reference design. The performance test was carried out for an optimized regenerative fan to validate the performance of the numerically predicted optimal design.
