In this study, the suggestions on the tasks to check and solve the factors for improving and supporting the foundations of family counselors' professional identities by highlighting the family counselors own identify that is different from other counselors are expected to be used as primary data for preparing laws and regulations related to family counseling in the future.
This study is to solve following problems by a family leisure as the problem of a single person in seclusion type, teenager-children being addicted to game, the disconnection of culture inheritance among inter-generation, the elder being isolated from leisure, the increase of the children using a key to go into home alone, the problem of a gender discrimination. This study defines the policy for a family leisure as "policy that ultimately creates the happiness of family, prevents the family problem and deals with it, through the leisure activities that are suitable to family life cycle". It also considers some other important properties(equality, gender and family life cycle, space) besides the constitution and function of family leisure. To create the happiness of family, the direction of the policy for a family leisure heads toward the positive function such as unification, creativity, and psychological stability of family members. At this point, the object of the policy for a family leisure is a unit of the family and it focuses on the level of interaction and positive function development between family members, being beyond the concept of family activity. Therefore, the policy that is to vitalize a family leisure must contain the interaction and positive function between the family members. Hereupon, to vitalize a family leisure, this study leads above-mentioned subjects based on programming, running leisure facility, information system, experts, social awareness, and supporting to the various family. Specialty, the process of leading these subjects is connected to the suggestion of the concrete program and then, is to result in supporting the program development for the essential leisure policy.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic information for developing family-focused nursing interventions for families with chronic illness. The subjects were 68 families of chronically ill patients in hospitalization and 68 families, as a comparison group, who didn't have chronically ill family members. The results of this study were as follows. 1. families with chronic illness showed higher anxiety scores (t=2.28, P=.024) and lower family functioning scores than normal families(the performance of family functioning : t=2.83, P=.005, the satisfaction of family functioning : t=5.76, P=.000) 2. In family caregiver systems, spouses of chronically ill patients showed higher anxiety scores (t=2.72, P=.008) and lower family functioning scores than those of normal families(the performance of family functioning : t=2.28, P=.026, the satisfaction of family functioning : t=4.41, P=.000) : however, the anxiety scores between children of chronically ill patients and those of normal families were no statistically significant differences. with regard to satisfaction of family functioning, children of chronically ill patients showed lower scores than those of normal family(t=3.85, P=.000). 3. In families with chronic illness, there were significantly positive correlations between the perceived importance of family functioning and anxiety(r=.415, P=.001) and between the performance and satisfaction of family functioning(r=.727, P=.001) ; however, there was a negative correlation between satisfaction of family functioning and anxiety(r=-.334, P=.01). In normal families, there was no significant correlation between family functioning and anxiety. Findings of this study suggest that families with chronic illness need family-focused nursing interventions for relieving their anxiety and for improving family functioning. in conclusion, the investigation of family functioning and anxiety provides useful information in family-focused nursing care, especially for spouses of chronically ill patients. This information will contribute to developing the support systems for family caregivers and education programs for managing chronically ill patients.
A cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational design was employed in this study. The main purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between female adolescents' mental health and their perception of family characteristics, such as family adaptability, family cohesion, family type, and family satisfaction, The theoretical rationale for this study is the 3-Dimensionl Circumplex Model that was formulated by Olson, et al. With respect to method, a structured questionnaire was employed to obtain the data. A total of 199 female students(high school second year) were recruited by convenience sampling. Data for this study were collected in October 1994 after a pilot study and pretest of the tools. The research tool used the following four self-report research types : Youth Self-Report (YSR) developed by Achenbach and Edelbrock, Family Adaptability & Cohesion Evaluation Scales (FACES) III, Family Satisfaction(FS) developed by Olson, et al. and a Demographic Data Sheet. The resulting data were processed using an SPSS PC for a Pearson prod uct-moment correlation coefficient, ANOVA. A linear relationship were found between female students' mental health and their perceived family cohesion(r=-.2237, p<.001), and family satisfaction(r=-.3951, p<.001), but no significant correlations was found between female students' mental health and their perceived adaptability. These findings demonstrated that family cohesion, family type, and family satisfaction were more powerful predictors than family adaptability. This study contributes to nursing practice by demonstrating the usefulness of YSR to differentiate deviant behavior in youth and also by providing nursing interventions designed to promote female mental health.

Family businesses play a significant role in the overall economy of all countries, and the importance and weight of family businesses are increasing in various fields. Many factors are essential for a family business to grow into a long-lived business, that is, a sustainable business, but the most important one is succession. TRUST Lab at Hanyang University studied the importance of factors influencing the succession of the family business from the standpoint of the successor. As a result, it was confirmed that mutual trust is the most crucial factor, and conflict can destroy that trust. Therefore, in this study, we research conflict as a central topic for successful succession, which is the most fundamental reason for family businesses. This study was conducted as a qualitative research case study. By setting criteria suitable for the purpose of the study, we conducted interviews with ten successors who either worked or planned to work in a family-related company. Through this study, conflict management of key players is the most important to achieve a continuous succession of family businesses.
