The subjects were 337 late middle-aged women and their age range os from 45 to 59 fears old. Data were collected through anthropometry and photometry and analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis and discriminant analysis. The results were as follows; 1. The result of factor analysis indicated that 9 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 83.56 percent of total valiance. 2. Using factor scores, cluster analysis was carried out and the subject were classified into 4 cluster. Each cluster was classified as their body front and side view contour. Type 1 is tall, slim, and lower balk is flat on the side. Type 2 is standard and lean-back type on the side. Type 3 is standard height and weight, H type in front, and belly-protruded on the side. Type 4 is short, fat, and the side is hip-protruded. 3. According to the stepwise discriminant analysis, the 9 important items in classifying the somatotype of the late middle-aged women are as follows ; lower back tilt angle, hip depth(back) -back waist depth(back), bust depth(fore) - anterior waist depth(fore), jugular fossa point(fore), upper back tilt angle, burst breadth -waist breadth, right shoulder tilt, height of shoulder - height of anterior waist, abdomen breath. The correct classification rate for these items is as exact as 84.62%.

To solve this problem it is necessary to classify girls' lower body Into several kinds of somatotypes and to develop dress form. The purposes of this study was to classify lower body types of middle-high school an provide the dress forms based on the analysis of their lower body types. The subjects for anthropometric measurement were 402 middle-high school girls of 13 to 15 year-old. The result of factor analysis indicated that 5 factors were extracted from anthropometric measurments through factor analysis and those factors comprise 71% of total variance. 4 clusters were categorized using 5 factor scores by cluster analysis 4 lower body dress forms for middle-high school girls were made of gypsum mould. By the analysis of more photograph three dimensional characteristics of somatotype and overlapped cross-section diagrams were analyzed.

This paper presents analysis of how the effective implementation of RFID systems in food industry. To Measure the affecting factors, 19 items from Ketinger & Hackbarth, ABI Research, RFID Institutes and Researcher are selected. The validity and reliability of a questionnaire were examined through factor analysis and regression analysis was done by using the introduction of RFID systems and an achievement of ROI(Return On Investment) as dependent variables and the 4 factor scores from the factor analysis as independent variables. The results show that 2 factors are not only important in the introduction of RFID systems but also 3 factors also important for an achievements of ROI in particular.

The subjects were 193 Korean college female students. The subjects were directly measured anthropometrically and indirectly analyzed photo-graphically. By direct and indirect measurement, 5 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 76.34% of the total variance. 3 clusters as their head shape were categorized using 5 factor scores by cluster analysis. Type 1 was characterized by long head type and having smallest head thickness and head girth. Type 2 had average size and the most round-head type. Type 3 was characterized by short head type and the largest head thickness and head girth.

This study was carried out through the four-step experiments as follows. The first step is to take the user's visual evaluation construct. To do this, the 22 adjective phrases were extracted, which were applicable to all apartment buildings. The second step is to analyze the user's visual preference, which is measured by the user's psychological quantity on the apartment buildings by S. D.(Semantic Differential) Method. The third step is to analyzethe five psychological-factors obtained from the Factor Analysis. The perceptual images on the 41 experimental subjects were checked up through evaluating and analyzing the factor scores of each subjects for each psychological-factor. The fourth step is to analyze, the similarity of various characters in a building, which is mirrored on the user's psychological quantity and how buildings are grouped by it.

  • In recent years, although far behind, the "e-Trade (B to G)" is propelled vigorously in Japan. But the diffusion of the "e-Trade" among companies (B to B) represented by bolero.net does not meet expectation. This paper carried out the questionnaire survey to the enterprises, which adopt bolero.net and examined why the diffusion is stagnated to the measures for its future spread. As a result, the top 3 adoption factors are: (1) Transaction climate, (2) Top management support, and (3) Operational improvement. In other words, it depends that top management has the will, which adopts e-trade positively among the reliable business partners and the operational performances can improve efficiently by carrying e-trade. We would like to clarify what will be crucial to spur the diffusion in the future. Based on the findings from the result, the concrete key points to promote the spread are to be indicated as follows: (1) Improve the scores of "Cost" and "Competitive pressure" (2) Improve the institutional factor.

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the head shape for the apparel industry and to suggest standard head model for korean women. The 23 measurement items of 891 females, aged more than 18 years were used to analysis by statistical methods. Factor analysis, cluster analysis and duncan test were performed using these data. Through factor analysis, 5 factors were extracted upon factor scores and those factors comprised 68.76% for the total variances. 5 clusters as their head and face shape were categorized. We decided for the type 3 to standard head shape. 24 participants were measured using computed tomography(CT). The measured data of skin and skeleton and the standard head shapes were illustrated.
