Development of The Screw Lead Measurement System (나사 리드 측정시스템 개발)

  • This study proposes a new screw measurement system that is capable of measuring the pitch or lead of a screw, which is one of the most important parameters representing the screw quality. There are various conventional methods for screw measurement including some mechanical and optical ones, but they can not be applied to measure the lead except the profiles or sizes. The newly suggested method is able to measure the pitch or lead directly. This is executed by scanning the thread with a digital probe while the target screw rotates. The devised measurement system is a integrated computer system which is composed of a stepping motor, a digital linear gauge and a chuck device for holding the measured screw. In order to operate the system effectively and conveniently, a computer program having graphical user interface facility is developed. Some experiments were done to prove the effectiveness of the system.

  • 전 규모에서 소규모에 이르는 MMIS(Man Machine Interface System) 모사설비는 실제의 원자력발전소에 사용될 MMIS를 응용 소프트웨어로 구동되는 모사환경을 통하여 사전에 시험 및 검증할 목적으로 사용된다. 기존의 MMIS 모사설비 개발은 잘 정의된 개발 프로세스에 기반을 두지 않고 프로젝트 관리자 또는 개발 담당자의 경험과 직관에 의존하여 수행되었다. 이로 인하여 MMIS 모사설비의 개발 일정이 지연되거나 개발의 결과가 초기목표를 만족하지 못하는 불만족 사항이 나타났다. 본 연구는 MMIS 모사설비의 응용 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 프로세스를 정의하고 이에 따라 설비개발을 진행하였다. 개발 프로세서는 계획 단계, 설계 및 구현단계, 시험단계의 세 부분으로 구성하였다. 본 논문에서는 MMIS 모사설비에 요구되는 일반적인 성능특성요건과 개발공정요건을 살펴보고, 본 연구가 정립한 응용 소프트웨어 개발의 프로세스 및 각 프로세서에서의 공정활동을 제시한다.

  • A TCS(Train Control System) is the core facility to ensure the safety and efficiency of train operations, it is difficult to have interoperability between the TCS suppliers. To ensure the interoperability between TCSs, there is a need for definition, validation and standardization on the system configuration, the functions of subsystems, the interface between subsystems an the system protocol. In this paper, we analyzed the completeness of the KRTCS(Korean Radio based Train Control System) specification, derived supplements what you need to apply the KRTCS specification to new urban lines.

  • Continuous on-line temperature monitoring allows corrective measures to be taken to prevent upcoming failure. Continuous temperature monitoring and event recording provides information on the energized equipment's response to normal and emergency conditions. On-line temperature monitoring helps to coordinate equipment specifications and ratings, determine the real limits of the monitored equipment and optimize facility operations. Using wireless technique eliminates any need for special cables and wires with lower installation costs if compared to other types of online condition monitoring equipment. In addition, wireless temperature monitoring works well under difficult conditions in strategically important locations. Wireless technology for on-line condition monitoring of energized equipment is applicable both as standalone system and with an interface with power quality monitoring system.

  • Internet services are utilizing a variety of server/client technologies. In particular internet technologies provide improved accessibility to information for facility management customers and users for the systems. This study is the architectural data exchange system development more effective management and accept using on Internet web environment. This paper is the explore the use of computers in architectural planning that how the information may be extracted drawing entered into database and exchanged architectural detail data interfaces. System support communication and interactive collaboration among designers through complex Building object during the Design. There are four part in collaborative design system. User Management system, Standard Database System, Project Database System and Interface system. All Data are recognizable format include drawing file and contents. Web/DB server supported communication and collaboration among partners in the building design and construction process. Collaborative Design system is provide new conceptual framework that exist in the Web.

  • Most of the irrgation structures are shortage of feasible facility management. The surveyed data to irrigation structures related to maintenance record were built and interface program between GIS and database were developed . It was conducted to develope a system for safe appraisal and repair works on agricultural irrigation structures. The system assisting onsite field investigation and determining the typical rehabilitation method of typical agricultural structural problems such as fractures and cracks of members was developed.

  • This paper describes the dynamic performance of a variable speed wind turbine system responding to a wide variety of wind variations. Modeling of the wind generation using power electronics interface is proposed for dynamic simulation analysis. Component models and equations are addressed and their incorporations into a transient analysis program, PSCAD/EMTDC are provided. A wind model of four components is described, which enables observing dynamic behaviors of the wind turbine resulting from wind variations. Controllable power inverter strategies are intended for capturing the maximum power under variable speed operation and maintaining reactive power generation at a pre-determined level for constant power factor control or voltage regulation control. The components and control schemes are modeled by user-defined functions. Simulation case studies provide variable speed wind generator dynamic performance for changes in wind speed

  • The purpose of this study was to develop railroad geotechnical management system using Web GIS and the DB used in system included railroad informations and digital maps. Digital maps are primarily based on a topographical map(NGIS, 1:5000) and by adding digital maps(KRRI, 1:5000) and their spatial database system to NGI code layer, the management system was developed. The system was connected to geotechnical database already developed. The system was able to separate three parts which were layer choice, geotechnical information view and geotechnical analysis and it was possible to save geotechnical and spatial informations using ZEUS DB simultaneously. ZEUS/X was used for usefulness of GIS operation and by offering GUI, user interface for facility was achieved. Geotechnical and spatial informations in this system will provide basic data for plans, design and construction of railway lines in practical use.

  • Many pictures are taken in construction sites. However, the pictures are not being managed effectively. In this study, the need for vector-photo have been raised which combines pictures and 5W1H information, and the vector-photo format have been suggested. A test module and user-interface have been developed for validating an utility of the format proposed.

  • This paper describes the design of the monitoring system for monitoring the current status and indirect controlling of the Wet Station Equipment which is used for cleaning the wafer. Most of the conventional monitoring system depend on the special hardware and software. Basic design goal of monitoring system is provide the convenience for the use and the portability for the system. In order for the system to fulfil its requirements, it was designed using GUI (Graphical User Interface) facility based on the windows NT environment of IBM PC compatible and EtherNet board based on the TCP/IP protocol.
