총톤수 중심으로 지정된 국내 항만시설의 선박수용능력 산정기준 개선방안에 관한 고찰 - 수역시설 중 정박지를 중심으로 - (Study on the Improvement of the Ship Capacity Standard of Korean Harbour Facilities based on the Gross Tonnage - Focused on Anchorage among Water Facilities -)

  • 항만에 배치되는 수역시설 중 정박지는 대상 선박이 주묘되지 않고 안전하게 정박할 수 있도록 충분한 수면적을 확보하여야 한다. 이러한 수면적의 계산 시에는 대상 선박의 전장, 수심, 저질 등의 요소를 고려하는 것이 일반적이다. 그러나, 국내 각 항만의 항만시설운영세칙(혹은 규정)에는 정박지의 선박수용능력 기준으로 총톤수를 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 총톤수 단위의 정박지 선박수용능력기준을 선박의 전장으로 변환하여 실제 대상 선박의 투묘 중 선회 반경을 계산한 결과, 분석 대상 90개의 정박지 중 25개의 정박지(27.8%)에서 선회 반경이 지정된 수면적을 초과하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 국내 각 항만의 항만시설운영세칙(혹은 규정) 상 정박지 선박수용능력 기준을 전장으로 개정하고, 관련 해사 법령의 해당 조항 개정을 개선방안으로 제시하였다.

  • A high intensity progressive wave tube is installed at Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) for acoustic environmental tests. The test facility has 700 mm x 800 mm cross-sectional area, and provides acoustic environment of 165 dB over the frequency range of $25Hz{\sim}10,000Hz$. The facility consists of a 6 m long acoustic wave tube, acoustic power generation systems, gases nitrogen supply systems, and acoustic control systems. This paper describes how the basic parameters of the facility and power generation systems are controlled to meet the requirement of the test. The shape and length of the tube has been designed by using the size of test objects and the wave propagation characteristics of the tube. The capacity of acoustic power generation systems is determined by the energy conversion of acoustic wave and the efficiency of acoustic modulators. Moreover, the paper introduces test run results of the tube. Overall of 163dB has been generated by using the test facility.

노인 전문요양시설의 공간구성에 관한 연구 - 전라북도 소재 5개 시설을 중심으로 - (A Case Study of Spatial Composition of Elderly Skilled Nursing Facility - Focused on 5 facilities of Jeonbuk Province of Korea -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze spatial composition of elderly skilled nursing facility and to provide basic information for setting up the detail facility architectural guidelines. The results of the study were following: the residential spaces of the facilities in this study were more or less overcrowded since their capacity were more than 5 elderly residents. The dimensions of some residential spaces did not even come up to the standard of elderly welfare law in force. On the other hand, the facilities had a tendency to use a space with multiple purposes or to allocate a space but to leave it with no use. Moreover comparing with the 1st floor, which was mainly for the staffs and had enough space to spare, the upper floor which was for the elderly residents, was crowded with nursing staffs and elderly residents and had densely closed residential and public spaces. For the problem solving, law and regulation modification is needed according to the case study about the usage and using frequency of each facility space. And the crowded area for the elderly residents could be enlarged through the reduction(or combination) of the rarely used spaces and moving a few residential spaces into the 1st floor.

  • This paper considers a firm that operates make-to-stock and make-to-order facilities in successive stages. The make-to-stock facility produces components which are consumed by the external market demand as well as the internal make-to-order operation. The make-to-order facility processes customer orders with the option of acceptance or rejection. In this paper, we address the problem of coordinating how to allocate the capacity of the make-to-stock facility to internal and external demands and how to control incoming customer orders at the make-to-order facility so as to maximize the firm's profit subject to the system costs. To deal with this issue, we formulate the problem as a Markov decision process and characterize the structure of the optimal inventory allocation and customer order control. In a numerical experiment, we compare the performance of the optimal policy to the heuristic with static inventory allocation and admission control under different operating conditions of the system.

서울지역 대형연소시설에서의 질소산화물 배출계수 산정 (The Evaluation of NOx Emission Factor from Large Combustion Facilities in Seoul)

  • The emission factor of nitrogen oxides(NOx) was evaluate to clarify the characteristics of NOx emitted from seven large combustion facilities in seoul area. The emission factors of NOx at A-1 and A-2 facilities of internal combustion engine were 66.957kgNOx/ton and 20.913kgNOx/ton, respectively. The emission factor of A-1 facility was higher than that of A-2 facility even same internal combustion engine, because A-1 facility adopted SCR(selective catalystic reactor) for reduction of NOx emission factor of A-2, A-4, and A-7 power generation boiler facilities were 4.300kgNOx/ton, 2.460kgNOx/ton and 1.796kgNOx/ton, respectively. The capacity of A-2 facility was about two times than that of A-4 and A-7. These emission factors were lower than those at facilities in other areas of korea, because of using low NOx burner of power generation boiler. The emission factors of NOx at A-3 and A-6 incinerator facilities were 0.147kgNOx/ton and 0.221kgNOx/ton which were lower than other facilities, respectively, because these facilities incinerate municipal solid waste of low heating value and uwe SCR for reducing NOx concentration.

  • A high intensity acoustic test facility is constructed at Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) by 2003. The reverberant chamber of the facility has a volume of 1,228 cubic meters and shall provide an acoustic environment of 152 dB over the frequency range of 25 Hz to 10,000 Hz. The facility consists of a large scaled reverberant chamber, acoustic power generation systems, gases nitrogen supply systems, and acoustic control systems. This paper describes how the basic parameters of a chamber and power generation systems are controlled to meet the requirement of the test. The volume of a reverberant chamber is controlled by the size of test objects and the reverberant characteristics of a chamber. The capacity of acoustic power generation systems is determined by the energy absorption of a chamber and the efficiency of acoustic modulators. Simple math is employed to calculate the required power of acoustic modulators. Moreover, the paper explains how the distribution of sound pressure level at low frequency is checked by analytical and numerical methods.

  • 핵비확산성 건식공정 산화물핵연료는 경수로 사용후핵연료를 재가공하여 원전에서 사용할 수 있는 핵연료로 재가공하는 개념으로, 이 실험은 고방사능 물질인 사용후핵연료를 초기물질로 사용하므로 고방사능 차폐시설인 핫셀 내에서 원격으로 조작되어야 하는 기술적 특성 때문에 이 실험은 적절한 공학적 요건과 안전성을 갖춘 전용시설(DFDF: DUPIC Fuel Fabrication Facility)을 구축하여 '00년 1월부터 실제 사용후핵연료를 사용한 실험을 수행하고 있다. DFDF에서 최대 약 50 ㎏U/yr의 사용후핵연료를 사용하여 건식공정 산화물핵연료 제조시험을 수행할 때 IMEF 시설의 방사선 환경영향에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다 분석한 결과 DFDF 시설의 운영으로 인한 영향은 모두 관련법규를 만족할 뿐 아니라 IMEF 시설의 설계기준도 만족하는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Around the world are increasing the demand for ESS. Currently, the domestic is expected to benefit by operating ESS. In the domestic, it is expected to benefit from operations of the installed ESS because of the introduction of ESS less capacity. However ESS capacity to the maximum profit occurs is unknown. ESS is different from the charge-discharge characteristics and the reserve to replace, depending on the application. Therefore, it should be established in accordance with the ESS optimal capacity according to the purpose used because it can maximize the quality and efficiency of the electric energy. To the ESS optimal capacity estimation by the purpose used, It should compare the investment cost caused by ESS facility installation and operation cost caused by operating ESS. In this paper, the operation mathematical model for estimating marginal operation costs established. In operation mathematical model, operating cost is considered fuel cost and no-load cost start-up cost. Because no-load cost and start-up cost are not related to cost and power plant output, there are expressed an integer variable costs as a step function.

강원 인제지역 토석류 사방시설의 준설 및 퇴적 특성 (Characteristic Analysis of Dredging and Sedimentation Debris Control Facilities in Inje, Gangwon)

  • 강원도 인제지역의 토석류 사방시설 유형에 따른 준설 및 퇴적특성을 알아보기 위하여 불투과형 및 투과형 사방댐을 각각 5개소를 선정하고 선정된 사방댐에 대한 퇴적특성 및 지하수위 분포에 대한 현장조사와 지역 내에 분포하는 51개 사방시설에 대한 유역면적, 저장능력, 준설량 등의 자료를 분석하였다. 현장조사 결과 불투과형 사방댐은 평상 시 대규모 토석류가 발생하지 않았음에도 불구하고 퇴적물이 쌓여있어 대규모 토석류 발생 시 사방댐 저장능력이 작아질 수 있음을 나타내었다. 불투과형 사방댐의 평상 시 수위는 퇴적토의 지표에 위치하여 배수가 원활하게 이루어지지 않을 수 있으나, 투과형 사방댐 수위는 버트리스 부분 하단에 존재하여 큰 강우에서도 사방댐으로 인하여 지반 포화를 발생하지 않을 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 사방시설의 저장능력과 유역면적, 준설량의 상관성 분석결과, 사방시설의 설치에 있어 유역면적에 따른 사방시설의 규모가 잘 반영되지 않았으며 큰 사방댐 시설을 건설하였으나 실제 퇴적량은 작게 나타나 향후 효율적인 사방시설의 계획 및 시공이 이루어져야 할 것으로 나타났다.
