  • 서비스 실패는 서비스 상품의 본질적인 특성 때문에 불가피하게 일어나게 마련이다. 서비스 기업들은 고객의 불만족을 초래하는 서비스 실패를 관리하기 위하여 서비스회복의 다각적인 노력을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 고객 개개인이 갖고 있는 가치 성향에 따라서 서비스 실패를 허용하는 수준이 다를 것이라고 가정하고 연구를 진행하였다. 실증적 연구를 통하여 밝혀낸 결과는 서로 다른 개인들의 가치 성향이 서비스 실패에 대하여 용인하는 정도에 차이가 있으며 이로 인하여 불만족의 수준도 달라진다는 것이다. 따라서 고객 성향의 효과적인 파악은 고객만족의 수준을 높이거나 최소한 고객 불만족의 수준을 낮출 수 있을 것이다.

  • Various information and communication technologies (ICT) and electronic government (e-Government) projects have been planted in hopes of economic and social growth in developing economies. These types of ventures usually involve working in societies with their own unique cultures in various aspects that often cause "custom ways" of planning, implementing, coordinating, and controlling in IT projects, thus playing a grand role in determining the success of IT projects. Due to a lack of understanding of local cultural factors and a deficiency of cultural risk evaluation models, however, many IT projects especially in the context of developing economies face failure. This study investigates the major cultural factors involved in IT projects and their effects on IT projects in developing economies. The framework is validated using the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) information and communication technology (ICT) and e-Government project cases of two countries in Central Asia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. This study will help project managers develop management practices and strategies associated with the cultural factors they face during the various stages of their IT projects in their specific contexts.

Transfer Learning for Face Emotions Recognition in Different Crowd Density Situations

  • Most human emotions are conveyed through facial expressions, which represent the predominant source of emotional data. This research investigates the impact of crowds on human emotions by analysing facial expressions. It examines how crowd behaviour, face recognition technology, and deep learning algorithms contribute to understanding the emotional change according to different level of crowd. The study identifies common emotions expressed during congestion, differences between crowded and less crowded areas, changes in facial expressions over time. The findings can inform urban planning and crowd event management by providing insights for developing coping mechanisms for affected individuals. However, limitations and challenges in using reliable facial expression analysis are also discussed, including age and context-related differences.

COVID 19 상황에서 비대면 학습을 경험한 간호대학생의 학습몰입, 자기효능감이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Learning-flow and Self-efficacy in Nursing Students who experienced non-face-to-face learning in the COVID-19 situation on self-leadership)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19 상황에서 비대면 학습을 경험한 간호대학생의 학습몰입, 자기효능감이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 간호대학생 237명을 대상으로 2021년 11월 19부터 12월 31일까지 자료수집을 하였으며 자료분석은 t-test, ANOVA, 상관분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 대상자의 학습몰입, 자기효능감, 셀프리더십간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 셀프리더십은 학습몰입(r=.512, 𝜌<.001)과 자기효능감(r=.664, 𝜌<.001)간에 유의한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 회귀분석 결과, 24세 이상(𝛽=0.16, 𝜌=.001), 학습몰입(𝛽=0.19, 𝜌=<.001), 자기효능감(𝛽=0.39, 𝜌=<.001)이 셀프리더십에 유의한 변수로 나타났으며, 설명력은 49.8%이었다(F=40.01, 𝜌<.001). 본 연구결과 셀프리더십을 향상시키기 위해서 학습몰입과 자기효능감을 증진시킬 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하는 것이 필요하다.

  • 최근 비대면 원격강의의 비율이 증가하였지만 비대면 상황에서 원격으로 진행하는 강의로 인해 강의를 수강하는 학생들의 강의를 진행하는 교수와의 질문에 대한 즉각적인 상호작용과 피드백이 부족하고 교수 또한 비대면 상황에서 학생들과의 소통의 어려움으로 인해 질문에 대한 답변을 하는 것에 어려움 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 학생들에게 질문에 대한 즉각적인 답변을 해주고 교수에게는 질문-답변을 관리할 수 있는 인공지능 챗봇 웹 서비스를 제안한다. 웹 서비스는 강의를 수강하는 학생과 강의를 진행하는 교수로 나눠져 제공된다. 구현을 위해 Seq2Seq 모델을 활용하였고 질문-답변 데이터셋으로 학습을 하여 테스트 하였다.

질적 연구를 통한 삶의 맥락적 관점에서의 노인의 도시락 및 밑반찬 배달 서비스에 대한 수용 태도 및 적응에 대한 이해 (A Qualitative Study on Attitude, Acceptability, and Adaptation for Home-delivered Meal Services in the Korean Elderly from the Perspective of Life Context)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to suggest the strategies for improvement of home-delivered meal services for the elderly, to identify reasons for recipients to get started with the services and to evaluate the attitude, acceptability and adaptation of recipients to the services from the perspective of life context. Methods: The data was collected through face-to-face in-depth interviews with eighteen low-income elderly recipients of home-delivered meals and analyzed using a qualitative research method. Results: The results were deduced as four themes which comprised of long-term vulnerable socioeconomic contexts resulted in entry to the services, conflicting acceptability to the services, passive adaptation to taking the services, and positive practices to cope with supplement free meals or other services. The service participation was initiated because of a combination of prolonged, vulnerable socioeconomic contexts, including poverty and unexpected life events such as diseases, disability, living alone, aging and unemployment. With regard to taking the services, conflicting acceptability was observed: positive aspects including saving living cost and good quality of meals, and negative aspects including lack of a tailored service and feeling of stigma. Although the recipients needed an individualized service, they did not express their needs and demands for the services and they accepted the unavailability as an accustomed, prolonged vulnerable socioeconomic context. With regard to lack of tailored services, either self-solution such as modification of eating patterns or community-based network and services were used. Conclusions: We suggest that a system to concretely identify recipients' attitude, acceptability and adaptation for home-delivered meal services should be developed in the establishment of a tailored nutrition support system for the low-income elderly.

  • The Semantic Web is an evolving extension of the WWW in which the semantics of information and services on the web is defined, making it possible for the web to understand and satisfy the requests of people and machines to use the web content. The sementic web relied on the ontologies that structure underling data for the purpose of comprehensive and transportable machine understanding. And recommendation systems have been developed as a solution to the abundance of choice people face in many situations. This paper shows that the new recommendation method is suitable for effective recommendation on the semantic web. We present a new procedure for improving the effective recommendation by using the levelized context ontology. Our experimental results also confirm that our method has good recommendation time. Our proposed method can be generalized to fit other application domains.

글로벌 메가트렌드와 도서관 트릴레마 담론 (Discourse of Library Trilemma in the Context of Global Megatrend)

  • 대다수 국가에서 공공도서관은 지역사회를 위한 지식정보 및 복합문화의 허브이자 만남과 소통을 위한 제3의 장소다. 근래의 공공도서관은 디지털 전환과 4차 산업혁명 시대에 부응하기 위해 디지털 기술을 이용한 핵심역량 제고와 서비스 확장에 주력하고 있다. 그런데 COVID-19 팬데믹이 발생한 이후 공공도서관에서 폐관, 재개관, 부분 폐관이 반복되자 비접촉, 디지털, 온라인 대체서비스를 제공하는데 모든 자원을 투입하고 있으며 향후에도 계속될 것으로 예상된다. 이에 따라 미래 공공도서관은 디지털 확장성, 복합문화공간화, 지식정보서비스 장소로서의 중요성이 상충되는 트릴레마에 직면할 수밖에 없다. 본 연구는 포스트 코로나 시대의 공공도서관 트릴레마를 담론화하고 극복 방안을 제시하였다. 미래 공공도서관의 지향성은 다중성과 다목적, 장소와 공간, 지식정보와 복합문화, 대면접촉서비스와 비대면 원격서비스를 아우르는 화이부동이다. 공공도서관의 본체는 손가락(디지털과 비접촉)이 아니라 달(지식정보센터)이다.

Synchronous and Asynchronous Engagement in Virtual Library Services as Learning Support Systems from the Perspectives of Post-Graduate Students: A Case Study-Graduate Students: A Case Study

  • The global information economy is transforming the way people connect with each other, learn new things, and contribute to the knowledge society. With the online platform, library services have also expanded beyond face to face interaction. Although studies of virtual reference services have been made in different parts of the world, a case study discussing various forms of online reference engagement in Kazakhstan has not been written. While most of the theories on connectivism emphasize the context of instruction, the researchers of this paper discussed the tenets as they relate to online engagement. Applying the theory of connectivism, this paper explores through a mixed method the use of various online platforms to enhance engagement connecting library users to information. Findings revealed that differences in patterns of interactions as to platforms, types of queries, and users reveal that students, faculty, and other members of the academic community served by the library have various preferences for communication. The case study further showed that respondents have not maximized the use of VLS but interest in using both synchronous and asynchronous services is clear. Finding connections between sources of information, creating useful information patterns, is essential in learning. Amplifying awareness on the use of VLS giving emphasis to the unique features of each service is useful in order to enable students to see how this platform facilitates learning.

Designing Video-based Teacher Professional Development: Teachers' Meaning Making with a Video Annotation Tool

  • In this research, we designed a teacher professional development (PD) program where a small group of mathematics teachers could share, reflect on, and discuss their pedagogical knowledge and practices of ICT-integrated lessons, using a video annotation tool called DIVER. The main purposes of this paper are both micro and macro: to examine how the teachers were engaged in the meaning-making process in a video-based PD (micro); and to derive implications about how to design effective video-based teacher PD programs toward a teacher community of practices (macro). To examine teachers' meaning-making in the PD sessions, discourse data from a series of 10 meetings was segmented into idea units and coded to identify discourse patterns, focusing on (a) participation levels, (b) conversation topics, and (c) conversation depth. Regarding the affordance of DIVER, discourse patterns of two meetings, before and after individual annotation with DIVER were compared through qualitative vignette analysis. Overall, we found that the teacher discourse shifted the focus from surface features to deeper pedagogical issues as the PD sessions progressed. In particular, the annotation function in DIVER afforded the teachers to exercise descriptive analyses of video clips in a flexible manner, thereby helping them cognitively prepared to take interpretative and evaluative stances in face-to-face discussions with colleagues. In conclusion, deriving from our research experiences, we discuss the possibilities and challenges of designing video-based teacher PD in a school context.
