In the pandemic situation due to corona 19, we examined the satisfactory level of students' between non-face-to-face and online classes in the first year of radiology. In the case of online non-face classes related to radiation majors, it is considered better to conduct real-time lectures than recorded lectures, which allows students to understand difficult radiation majors throughout real-time questions and answers, and at the same time allows them to sympathize with difficult subjects such as intimacy and bonds between students. As a result of the analysis of the answers to questionnaires, the coefficient of answer correlation between first and second grade students is P>0.05, and there is no answer correlation between grades, and it can be seen that the higher the grade, the higher the demand for face-to-face classes was.

This paper suggests an LDA-based long distance face recognition algorithm for intelligent surveillance system. The existing face recognition algorithm using single distance face image as training images caused a problem that face recognition rate is decreased with increasing distance. The face recognition algorithm using face images by actual distance as training images showed good performance. However, this also causes user inconvenience as it requires the user to move one to five meters in person to acquire face images for initial user registration. In this paper, proposed method is used for training images by using single distance face image to automatically create face images by various distances. The test result showed that the proposed face recognition technique generated better performance by average 16.3% in short distance and 18.0% in long distance than the technique using the existing single distance face image as training. When it was compared with the technique that used face images by distance as training, the performance fell 4.3% on average at a close distance and remained the same at a long distance.

User recognition technology, which identifies or verifies a certain individual is absolutely essential under robotic environments for intelligent services. The conventional face recognition algorithm using single distance face image as training images has a problem that face recognition rate decreases as distance increases. The face recognition algorithm using face images by actual distance as training images shows good performance but this has a problem that it requires user cooperation. This paper proposes the LDA-based long distance face recognition method which uses multiple distance face images from a zoom camera for training face images. The proposed face recognition technique generated better performance by average 7.8% than the technique using the existing single distance face image as training. Compared with the technique that used face images by distance as training, the performance fell average 8.0%. However, the proposed method has a strength that it spends less time and requires less cooperation to users when taking face images.
Background: The purpose of this study was to comparison of learning attitude, class satisfaction, and self-regulated learning ability of face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes in college physical therapy students to improve the educational effect and quality of non-face-to-face classes when face-to-face classes such as COVID-19 become inevitable in the future. Design: Cross-section study. Methods: This study was conducted with 91 college students, 3rd year students of physical therapy department at a community college in 'A' region, Gyeongsangbuk-do, who took face-to-face classes in the first semester of 2022 and non-face-to-face classes in 2021 of the previous semester. Results: Class attitude was higher in face-to-face classes than in non-face-to-face classes. There was a significant difference in class satisfaction between face-to-face and non-face-to-face classes, In self-regulated learning ability, face-to-face classes had a more positive effect on self-regulated learning ability than non-face-to-face classes. Conclusion: This study serves as empirical basic data on the actual condition of non-face-to-face classes compared to face-to-face classes for college physical therapy students, suggests the direction of future research, and improves the quality of non-face-to-face classes in the field of physical therapy, which requires a lot of practice. and hope it will be used for development.

CFRD face slab concrete has a much capability to occur crack due to drying shrinkage and vibrator compaction etc. Because crack of concrete induces structural problem and decrease durability of concrete, it is need to reduce crack of concrete. In the experimental study it was analyzed that the effect of curing of concrete and compaction on CFRD face slab concrete. As a results, it was found that control of construction condition into curing of concrete and compaction improved on construction efficiency of face slab concrete.

Decreasing response rates to traditional survey methods, like face-to-face and telephone interviews, have led survey practitioners around the world to seek new ways of conducting surveys in recent years." The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated this problem because it made conducting face-to-face interviews even more difficult than before. For example, it made conducting face-to-face surveys infeasible in 2020 in South Korea, and so the Korean Academic Multimode Open Survey (KAMOS) was unable to conduct a planned face-to-face survey to recruit new panel members. The entire 8,514-member panel, established via two-stage probability-based sampling from 2016 to 2019, was invited to take three online/telephone surveys in 2020. Of these panel members, 1,352 responded to at least one survey in 2020. To test to what extent the panel remained representative of the adult South Korean population, we compared the two groups of panel members: those who responded to at least one survey in 2020 and those who did not. After weighting both groups on the basis of age, sex, and geographical area, we analyzed their responses to some of the questions that were asked during multiple rounds of the face-to-face panel-recruiting interviews. Using Cohen's d for survey items that could be analyzed numerically and Cramér's V for categorical items, we were able to conclude that the respondents to the 2020 surveys were equivalent to the non-respondents in terms of both demographics and in the answers they originally gave to substantive questions on a variety of topics related to social science or public opinion research, including questions about quality of life, societal issue, and politics (Cohen's d items <0.2, 95% CI; Cramér's V items <0.1, 95% CI). This analysis may provide a model for others who wish to test the continued representativeness of their panel or who would like to use a different survey mode or change some other aspect of their methodology and test whether it is equivalent to their former methodology. Our success in building a panel that retained its representativeness may be useful to those in other countries where face-to-face surveys had previously been the norm but are becoming increasingly difficult to conduct.
In this paper, a new face tracking algorithm is proposed. The CamShift (Continuously adaptive mean SHIFT) algorithm shows unstable tracking when there exist objects with similar color to that of face in the background. This drawback of the CamShift is resolved by the proposed algorithm using Kinect's pixel-by-pixel depth information and the skin detection method to extract candidate skin regions in HSV color space. Additionally, even when the target face is disappeared, or occluded, the proposed algorithm makes it robust to this occlusion by the feature point matching. Through experimental results, it is shown that the proposed algorithm is superior in tracking performance to that of existing TLD (Tracking-Learning-Detection) algorithm, and offers faster processing speed. Also, it overcomes all the existing shortfalls of CamShift with almost comparable processing time.
It is important to measure the displacement behind and ahead of a tunnel face during construction for evaluating mechanical stability by comparing it to a displacement criteria set by tunnel designers. The 30 m long horizontal inclinometer was installed frontward from the tunnel face and the displacement occurred ahead of a tunnel face during excavation was measured by using it. Tunnel arch settlements behind tunnel face were surveyed using a settlement pins on the arch. So total settlement and longitudinal displacement curve were obtained combining settlement measured by both the horizontal inclinometer ahead of tunnel face and the settlement pins behind the tunnel face.

Embedded devices with the development of modern computer technology also began equipped with a variety of functions. In this study, to provide a method of tracking efficient face with a small instrument of resources, such as built-in equipment that uses an image sensor in recent years has been actively carried out. It uses a face detection method using the features of the MB-LBP in order to obtain an accurate face, specify the region (Region of Interest) around the face when the face detection for the face object tracking in the next video did. And in the video can not be detected faces, to track objects using the CAM-Shift key is a conventional object tracking method, which make it possible to retain the information without loss of object information. In this study, through the comparison with the previous studies, it was confirmed the precision and high-speed performance of the object tracking system.

A face bolt is normally horizontally installed. However, it often deviates from the initial horizontal position. The reinforcement effect of face bolts by its installation angle is analysed in this study. For the purpose of preventing surface subsidence and horizontal displacement of face, the face bolt should be installed as horizontally as possible, and if it deviates from the initial position, more bolts should be installed. Also, the residual face bolt left behind the face due to its installation angle has little supportive effect because it its too short and radially arranged.
