To transmit the degraded voice signal within various environment surrounding acoustic noises, we extract lip i the face and then compare lip edge features with prestoring DB having features such as mouth height, width, area, and rate. It provides high security and is not affected by acoustic noise because it is not necessary to transmit the actual utterance.

Since the material flow near the die part in CONFORM (Continuous Extrusion Forming) process is similar to that of side-extrusion, the side-extrusion model of tube shaped aluminum profiles was studied for the die design in CONFORM process. In this paper, the effects of process parameters in the side -extrusion through a two-hole die face, such as material flow, height and thickness of the tube, velocities of punch and lengths of bearing land were investigated using UBET program and DEFORM commercial FEM code. The optimum lengths of the bearing lands and punch velocities for obtaining the straight shape products required were determined.

본 논문에서는 영상에서의 시각적 자극의 특징에 의한 돌출과 특정 대상에 관련한 단서들간의 상호작용에 기반하여 얼굴을 검출하는 주의집중모델을 제안한다. 제안하는 모델은 얼굴에 대한 하향식 다중 단서로 모양(shape), 피부색(skin color), 밝기(luminance), 거리에 대응하는 크기, 깊이 등을 사용하며 이들 단서들이 상향식 프로세스와의 상호작용을 통해 목표하는 얼굴을 검출하도록 유도하는 상향식/하향식 결합에 기반한다. 제안하는 방법은 크기 및 회전변화를 갖는 다수의 얼굴을 포함한 영상에서 얼굴검출을 수행함으로써 성능을 검증하였다.

다양한 개인 생체 정보 중에서 비교적 높은 인식률과 사용자 편의성을 제공하는 것은 홍채 인식이다. 그러나, 현재의 홍채 인식은 수동 영상 획득 시스템으로 비접촉식이라는 사용자 편의성을 제대로 제공을 못하는 것이 현실이다. 이것은 정밀한 홍채 영상 획득을 위하여 고해상도의 영상 획득 장비의 필요와 정확한 홍채 위치 수적의 어려움으로 인한 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 24bit 칼라 영상을 이용한 사랑의 얼굴 형태의 인식과 인식된 얼굴 형태에서의 눈 영역 추적 확대를 통한 실시간 자동 홍채 인식 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템에서 얼굴의 피부색을 이용한 얼굴 인식 방법이외에 윤곽선 검출 정보를 이용한 기울기 보정과 눈 영역 검출을 실행하여, 이를 이용하여 눈 영역 추적과 확대를 실행을 한다. 그 다음 과정으로 눈 영역 영상에서 동공 중심을 획득하여 그 중심을 이은 선분으로 기준선을 잡아 홍채를 획득하는 과정으로 이루어지게 된다.

The purpose of this study examines the fashion-related concerns of women in their early twenties and their personal thoughts on sociocultural factors through fashion. Data were collected twenty-seven female participants in their twenties in order to examine their traumas related to fashion and how these experiences affect their attitude toward clothing and fashion. Based on this, this study sheds light on what effects traumatic experiences have had on participants' self-esteem. It also provides an in-depth analysis of the problems underlying and reasons for the study participants' fashion choices, and attempts to demonstrate their self-reflection through fashion. Finding of the study was that the participants had a passive attitude toward fashion and built a wall against it. The study results suggest that the very first step to going beyond oneself and developing an active attitude is to try to be proactive and face a challenge related to fashion or clothes that one chooses oneself. Therefore, it is now time for Korean society to shape a culture that respects the unique qualities of every individual and allows free expression of diversity.

사건 발생 후의 대응이 아닌 영상 분석을 통해 실시간으로 위협 상황에 대응할 수 있는 지능형 영상 보안 기술이 매우 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 영상 보안에 사용할 수 있는 실시간 얼굴 인식 및 추적 기법을 제안한다. 사람의 정면 얼굴 영상을 ASM(Active Shape Model) 알고리즘을 이용하여 정규화 시키고 Gabor Wavelet Filter를 이용하여 얼굴 고유 특징 벡터를 추출하여 인식에 사용하였다. 인식이 완료된 얼굴은 Camshift와 Kalman Filter를 이용하여 카메라 감시 영역에서 벗어날 때까지 강건한 추적을 통하여 관리자가 실시간으로 확인 및 대응할 수 있게 하였다.

Appearance management is evolving as a means of self-expression or as a way of expressing one's individuality. In particular, hairstyle is the most important part of a person's appearance and accounts for 70% of the appearance. Improving people's appearance by changing their hairstyle gives them confidence. Among them, the fringe hair style plays an important role in determining the first impression and reflects the trend. Fringe is shorter and simpler than general hair treatment, but even these small treatments have the effect of changing the impression, so women are trying to transform into a fringe hair style. A previous study was conducted on four lines classified: round, heart, square, and triangular. In this study, we added them to define 5 hairlines and created them by combining each hairline. that have been produced 5 fringe hair styles that suit the shape of the face. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as educational materials for hair line and fringe hair styles in the field, contributing to the beauty industry.

The naive Bayes classifier is one of the most straightforward classification tools and directly estimates the class probability. However, because it relies on the independent assumption of the predictor, which is rarely satisfied in real-world problems, its application is limited in practice. In this article, we propose employing sufficient dimension reduction (SDR) to substantially improve the performance of the naive Bayes classifier, which is often deteriorated when the number of predictors is not restrictively small. This is not surprising as SDR reduces the predictor dimension without sacrificing classification information, and predictors in the reduced space are constructed to be uncorrelated. Therefore, SDR leads the naive Bayes to no longer be naive. We applied the proposed naive Bayes classifier after SDR to build a recommendation system for the eyewear-frames based on customers' face shape, demonstrating its utility in the top-k classification problem.

1. Background and Purpose The faces of human being change as they grow older. We could know the characters of the each ages, through the facial comparison between the 30's, 40's and the 50's, 60's. As a conclusion, I carried out this Study because I thought that the errors of diagnosis would be reduced a lot through the standardization researches about the morphology of faces. 2. Objectives The object of this study is selected from the patients who were already diagnosed Sasang Constitutions at the department of Sasang Constitutional Medicine in Kyunghee Oriental Medical Center. The number of the patients were 69 men in 30's and 40's, and 74 men in 50's and 60's. 3. Method I took the photographs of front view and lateral view of the objectives by digital camera and obtained the 200 measure through the facial measurement program. I compared the measure of 50's and 60's with 30's and 40's by independant t-test. 4. Results 28 measures are different 30's and 40's with 50's and 60's in Soyangin, 31 measures in Soeumin, 40 measures in Taeumin. 5. Conclusion (1) Soyangin showed wider interpupillary distance in 30's and 40's than 50's and 60's. They also showed the large brow and cheek and their lips were thick and prominent and their ophyrion were prominent and their noses were wide and large and they showed wide bigonial breadth in 30's and 40's than 50's and 60's. (2) Soeumin showed the position of ears were higher and the brows were longer and larger in 30's and 40's than 50's and 60's. The width of both eyebrow were wider in 50's and 60's than 30's and 40's. The lower 2/3 portion of the face was longer and the shape of head was longer in vertical in 50's and 60's than 30's and 40's. (3) Taeumin showed the wider brow in 30's and 40's than 50's and 60's. The width of each eyes was wider and the width of cheek and face was larger, too. The ophyrion was prominent and the mouth was bigger and the face showed longer in 50's and 60's than 30's and 40's. (4) The upper 1/3 portion of the face was large in 30's and 40's and the lower 2/3 portion of the face showed large and long in 50's and 60's regardless Constitution.

Facial expression was an important communication methods. In oriental medicine, according to the emotion the face has changed shape and difference occurs in physiology and pathology. To verify such a theory, we studied the correlation between emotional facial expressions and meridian and collateral flow. The facial region divided by meridian, outer brow was Gallbladder meridian, inner brow was Bladder meridian, medial canthus was Bladder meridian, lateral canthus was Gallbladder meridian, upper eyelid was Bladder meridian, lower eyelid was Stomach meridian, central cheeks was Stomach meridian, lateral cheeks was Small intestine meridian, upper and lower lips, lip corner, chin were Small and Large intestine meridian. Meridian and collateral associated with happiness was six. This proves happiness is a high importance on facial expression. Meridian and collateral associated with anger was five. Meridian and Collateral associated with fear and sadness was four. This shows fear and sadness are a low importance on facial expression than different emotion. Based on yang meridian which originally descending flow in the body, the ratio of anterograde and retrograde were happiness 3:4, angry 2:5, sadness 5:3, fear 4:1. Based on face of the meridian flow, the ratio of anterograde and retrograde were happiness 5:2, angry 3:4, sadness 3:5, fear 4:1. We found out that practical meridian and collateral flow change by emotion does not correspond to the expected meridian and collateral flow change by emotion.
