기존선 철도차량을 이용한 철도교의 상호작용해석 (Vehicle-Bridge Interaction Analysis of Railway Bridges by Using Conventional Trains)

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 차종의 영향을 반영할 수 있고, 차량과 교량의 연성 운동방정식을 구성하여 시간 단계별 직접해를 산정할 수 있는 수치해석기법을 제시하였다. 운동방정식의 해는 직접적분법인 Newmark ${\beta}$을 이용하여 해석 단계별로 구성된 유효강성행렬과 유효하중벡터를 바탕으로 정적평형방정식의 해를 구하는 원리와 동일하게 산정하였다. 또한 해석의 효율성을 증진시키기 위하여 유효강성행렬은 Skyline 법에 의해 재구성하였으며, Cholesky의 행렬 분해기법을 동시에 적용하여 직접적인 역행렬 계산에서 야기되는 오차의 발생을 최소화 하였다. 또한 기존선 철도차량인 새마을 PMC 열차와 디젤 견인 무궁화 열차에 대한 3차원 정밀수치해석 모델을 개발하였고, 각 차량은 차체와 전 후방 대차에 각각 6자유도씩 고려하여 총 18자유도로 수치모델을 작성하였다. 교량은 3차원 공간뼈대 요소를 이용하여 모델링하였고, 차륜과 레일 접촉면의 불규칙성은 미국의 FRA에서 규정하고 있는 연직방향 및 횡방향틀림에 대한 PSD 함수를 이용하여 궤도틀림을 수치적으로 구현하였다. 제시된 수치해석 기법은 12 m, 18 m형 판형교의 실측결과를 이용하여 타당성을 검증하였으며, 실측 및 수치해석결과는 교량의 1차 휨 고유진동수의 2.0배를 기준으로 Low pass filtering 하였다.

Inheritence, linkage and Possible Use of Fractured Starch Mutant in Barley (Hordeum Vulga L.)

  • In order to breed barley lines with reduced viscosity of wort, a fractured starch mutant of naked barley cultivar, Nubet, was obtained from the M2 seeds mutated by the diethyl sulfate treatment. Seeds of this fractured starch mutant were opaque and the endosperm consists of angular, irregular and fractured starch. The mutant was caused by single recessive mutation and assigned by the symbol fra. The gene was located on chromosome 4, distal in long arm by linkage recombinations using translocation homozygote lethal test set. The linkage value between the fractured starch mutant and 72-4a, 72-4d were 26.0$\pm$4.9, 34.2$\pm$3.1 percent respectively. In addition to the reduced seed size, fewer kernels per spike and higher tillering ability, lower $\beta$-glucan viscosity and higher lysine content of the grain were associated with this mutant. $\beta$-glucan viscosity of the Nubet grains increased from 3 weeks after anthesis to matury and most of the viscose substances appeared to be stored in the middle of the endosperm tissue. Since the mutant grains showed better milling property as compared to Nubet, it can be used as breeding resources to develope new barley cultivars for maltins and milling purpose.

Influence of Processing Conditions on PVDF Properties

  • Study of the main properties of PVDF films produced by two processing technologies such as hot pressing from a melt or solution casting was the aim of this paper. All samples were prepared of as-received PVDF powder. First group of samples was prepared by the hot pressing. Second group of samples was prepared by the solution casting method. PVDF powder was dissolved in dimethylformamide. To characterize properties of samples, different experimental methods such as FRA (dielectric spectroscopy), IR-spectroscopy and DSC/TGA analysis were used in this work. It was found that IR-spectra of both studied groups do not change compared to that for virgin PVDF powder. It confirms that molecular structure is practically independent on the processing technology of samples. The only difference has been found that new band centered at $1723\;cm^{-1}$ appears for samples prepared by the hot pressing method. This absorption band is related with formation of C=C bonds in samples prepared by the hot pressing method in contrast both to PVDF powder and samples prepared by the solution casting method.

한국 노인의 낙상위험평가 설문항목의 유효성 검토 (Examination of useful items for the assessment of fall risk in the Korean community-dwelling elderly)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 지역거주 노인의 낙상 리스크를 평가하는 문항을 선정하고 유효성을 검토하는데 있다. 낙상위험 평가는 선행연구를 참고로 '낙상잠재성', '신체기능', '질병과 신체증상', '환경', '행동과 성격'의 5가지 요인으로 구분하였으며 내용타당성 검증, 교차분석 및 요인분석 결과에 따라 총 44개 문항으로 구성하였다. 한국형 낙상위험 평가척도는 심각한 사회문제로 인식되고 있는 노인의 낙상문제를 개선하고 개인의 낙상예방에 중요한 정보를 제공하는데 유용한 도구로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

Fast Recovery Routing Algorithm for Software Defined Network based Operationally Responsive Space Satellite Networks

  • An emerging satellite technology, Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) is expected to provide a fast and flexible solution for emergency response, such as target tracking, dense earth observation, communicate relaying and so on. To realize large distance transmission, we propose the use of available relay satellites as relay nodes. Accordingly, we apply software defined network (SDN) technology to ORS networks. We additionally propose a satellite network architecture refered to as the SDN-based ORS-Satellite (Sat) networking scheme (SDOS). To overcome the issures of node failures and dynamic topology changes of satellite networks, we combine centralized and distributed routing mechanisms and propose a fast recovery routing algorithm (FRA) for SDOS. In this routing method, we use centralized routing as the base mode.The distributed opportunistic routing starts when node failures or congestion occur. The performance of the proposed routing method was validated through extensive computer simulations.The results demonstrate that the method is effective in terms of resoving low end-to-end delay, jitter and packet drops.

  • Over 70% of the land is mountains in Korea, so that many roadways naturally includes tunnels. The air flow inside tunnel has complex characteristics, such that a new flow field is formed by following vehicles passing through the tunnel before previous flow field is stabilized. Due to these time delayed-transient characteristics, the ventilation facility requires the complex control algorithm that can handle adaptive and predictive controls. Also, it needs to be closely related to the disaster prevention system. The technology to integrate these system determines the success of TGMS. The pollutant levels exhausted from the vehicles passing through tunnel depend on vehicle years and passing velocity. They also depend on the slope and altitude of the tunnel. In order to solve this problem, an algorithm for estimating the compensating factors for calculating on design capacity of ventilation facilities was developed. Also, an integrated ventilation control algorithm with disaster prevention program to operate several tunnels was developed based on TGMS.

Study on the Transfer Functions for Detecting Windings Displacement of Power Transformers with Impulse Method

  • The paper investigates three types of transfer function methods for detecting displacements of winding in a model transformer. To acquire these transfer functions, the measuring method of input voltage, current and its response is used in impulse method. The applied impulse voltages had three rising times, which were short rising time (less than 0.6 ${\mu}s$), medium rising time (about 0.8 ${\mu}s$) and long rising time (about 1 ${\mu}s$) in front waves. Every 10 measurements of voltage and current waves were averaged from 50 measurements of voltage and current waves. These transfer functions were tested in normal, 24mm elevated and 48mm elevated windings conditions and were analyzed with correlation coefficients and spectrum deviations. In the analysis, the results depend on the types of transfer functions and the rising times of input voltages.

무릎관절 멀리건 테이핑이 균형능력과 각근력에 미치는 효과와 측정의 반복에 의한 효과 비교 (Comparison of the Balancing Capacity and Strength of Taping for the Knee Joint and Repeated Measurements)

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of mulligan taping on knee joints on balance ability and strength with repeated measurements. Methods: Seventeen patients were randomly assigned to the 8 taping group and the 9 repeat measurement group. To measure the balance ability, fall risk assessment equipment was used, and the measurement of the muscle strength was performed by using the equipment of the same company. Results: Balanced abilities and muscle strength were increased in groups with taping only after Mulligan taping. Conclusions: The application of mulligan taping did not have the effect of stimulating the inherent receptive sensation. However, active grouping of the knee joint taping only, and muscle strength and muscle strength were increased. It increases the stability and activity of the muscles that operate on the balance of the active knee joint and muscle strength, thereby enhancing exercise prevention and prevention performance and exercise performance.

셀룰라 기반의 하이브리드 분산식 멀티홉 시스템에서의 GPS 알고리즘을 이용한 동적 자원할당 기법 (A Dynamic Resource Allocation scheme with a GPS algorithm in Cellular-based Hybrid and Distributed Wireless Multi-hop Systems)

  • 셀룰라 기반의 멀티홉 시스템에서 각 홉이 필요로 하는 자원의 양에 따라 동적으로 자원을 할당하는 GPS-DRA(Generalized Processor Sharing-Dynamic Resource Allocation) 기법을 제안하였다. 논문에서 가정한 하이브리드 분산식 시스템에서는 네트워크에 연결되어있는 중앙의 controller가 각 홉에 자원을 적절히 할당해 주어야 한다. 하지만 전송환경이 시간에 따라 수시로 변하기 때문에 홉 별로 필요한 자원의 양에 맞게 자원을 할당하기가 쉽지 않다. GPS-DRA 기법은 홉 별로 이전에 사용한 자원의 양을 근거로 하여 홉 별로 필요한 자원의 양에 맞게 동적으로 자원을 할당한다. 본 기법을 사용하면 중앙의 controller에서 자원할당에 필요한 링크 정보를 모두 수집할 필요가 없으므로, 이 기법을 적용하기 위하여 추가적으로 필요한 control overhead의 증가량을 매우 적게 할 수 있다. 제안한 기법을 적용하여 모의실험을 수행한 결과, 고정 자원할당 방식에 비해 채널사용효율이 약 16% 증가하고 셀 용량이 최대 약 65% 커지게 되는 것을 확인하였다.

EN12663과 prEN15227에 따른 객차의 구조적 요구사항 검토 (An overview of the structural requirements of passenger carrying rolling stock according to EN12663 and prEN15227)

  • As the South Korean rolling stock industry is developing designs for full compliance with the European Standards, it is fitting to take a look at these two core standards. The paper presents an overview of the load cases and structural requirements developed in Europe for the design of safe and compatible rolling stock vehicles. These load cases and structural requirements have been compiled into two standards namely EN12663 and EN15227. Standard EN12663 was developed as a reference design requirements standard. The work was mandated and sponsored by the European Committee for Standardization and Standard issuing National Institutions. EN12663 specifies a series of proof and fatigue load cases for European rolling stock regulations compliant vehicle designs. As EN12663 does not address the crashworthiness issue, a dedicated crashworthiness standard, EN15227, was therefore developed in a similar manner through industry wide consultations managed by a Trans-European working group of experienced engineers and specialists. In both standards, the vehicle and/or trains are grouped into categories reflecting the vehicle types and/or their indented operational function. EN15227, developed to complement EN12663, addresses the "passive" crashworthiness capability of the vehicles and trains. EN15227 specifies reference crash scenarios similar to those found in the Technical Specification for Interoperability (TSI) of high speed trains operating in Europe. The overview also touches on a general comparison with the corresponding British Group Standard (GM/RT2100) and also the UIC leaflet based load cases. The exercise is extended to pertinent design load cases specified by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) in the US.
