  • In the present study, viscous flow calculations of helicopter main rotor system in forward flight were made by using an unstructured hybrid mesh solver. Each rotating blade relative to the cartesian frame was simulated independently by adopting unstructured overset mesh technique. For the validation of the present method, calculations for the Caradonna-Tung non-lifting forward flight and the AH-1G main rotor system in forward flight were made. Additional computation was made for the UH-60A rotor in forward flight. Reasonable agreements were obtained between the present results and the experiment.

  • In an electricity market, the spot market is normally integrated with a forward or future market. The advantage of the forward market is to allow the market participants to deal in a part or the whole trading portfolio at a fix price in advance and to avoid risk associated to the uncertain price of the spot market. Japan has introduced a continuous auction base forward market from April 2005. This paper analyzes the Japanese forward market rules and operations, and introduces a new algorithm that may improve the efficiency of the market itself. The proposed algorithm enables us to give consideration to the specific characteristics of the power system and to integrate them in the auction mechanism. The benefits of the proposed algorithm are verified on an electronic simulation platform and the results described in this paper.

  • The MOSFET synchronous rectification in the Active-Clamp Forward converter is presented. The Active-Clamp Forward converter has little dead time during the off time of the main switch and it is suitable for the MOSFET synchronous rectification comparing to the other Forward converter topologics. Using the MOSFET synchronous rectification on the Active-Clamp Forward converter with 3.3[V] output and 500[kHz] switching frequency, the improvement of efficiency is achieved comparing with the conventional Schottky barrier diode rectification.

  • In this paper, the design and implementation of a high power(300W) forward converter using a planar transformer is presented. The overall size and volume of the converter is decreased by replacing a planar transformer in stead of using a conventional winding transformer. Due to the decreased size and volume, power density of the applied forward converter is increased. Also, in this paper, the 300W ZVS forward converter with active clamp snubber circuit is compared to the 300W hard switching forward converter.

  • In this paper, we evaluate performance of a hybrid decode-amplify-forward relaying protocol in underlay cognitive radio. In the proposed protocol, a secondary relay which is chosen by partial relay selection method helps a transmission between a secondary source and a secondary destination. In particular, if the chosen relay decodes the secondary source's signal successfully, it will forward the decoded signal to the secondary destination. Otherwise, it will amplify the signal received from the secondary source and will forward the amplified signal to the secondary destination. We evaluate the performance of our scheme via theory and simulation. Results show that the proposed protocol outperforms the amplify-and-forward and decode-and-forward protocols in terms of outage probability.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was conducted to find treatment of forward head posture and shoulder instability with proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation concept. Methods : This is literature study with books, seminar note and international course. Results : Forward head posture and shoulder instability has related each other. Forward head posture will make muscle instability, weakness and stiffness on neck and shoulder girdle. It will make pain also. Important muscle are suboccipital muscle, omohyoid muscle, sternoclaidomastoid muscle, scaleni, pectoralis minor, levator scapular and digastric. Conclusion : Treatment of the forward head posture and shoulder instability is provided. It is that treatment of stiff muscle with eccentric muscle work, muscle elongation, muscle strengthening at the structure level and at the functional level for daily activities.

  • This paper analyzes interference alignment in the two-way relay network with compute-and-forward in both single relay and multiple relays networks. The advantages of compute-and-forward over other relaying strategies are that it can relay only linear combinations of the useful signals and remove the noise. The algorithm proposed in this paper adopts the criterion of maximum SINR to derive the pre-coding matrix. The experimental results show that the performance of interference alignment in two-way relay channel via compute-and-forward is better than that of amplify-and-forward, and the total sum rate in the two-way multiple relay networks is larger than that in the two-way single relay networks.

  • Forward-secure signature is a specific type of signature, which can mitigate the damage caused by the signing key exposure. Most of the existing forward-secure (identity-based) signature schemes can update users' secret keys at each time period, achieve the existential unforgeability, and resist against classical computer attacks. In this paper, we first revisit the framework of forward-secure identity-based signatures, and aim at supporting flexible key update at multi time period. Then we propose a post-quantum forward-secure identity-based signature scheme from lattices and use the basis delegation technique to provide flexible key update. Finally, we prove that the proposed scheme is strongly unforgeable under the short integer solution (SIS) hardness assumption in the random oracle model.
