This paper describes the development of a 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor, which measures forces Fx, Fy, Fz, and moments Mx, My, Mz simultaneously, for stably grasping an unknown object. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's gripper, it should measure the force in the gripping direction and the force in the gravity direction, and perform the force control using the measured forces. Thus, the robot's gripper should be composed of 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor that can measure forces Fx, Fy, Fz, and moments Mx, My, Mz simultaneously. In this paper, the 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor for measuring forces Fx, Fy, Fz, and moments Mx, My, Mz simultaneously was newly modeled using several parallel-plate beams, designed, and fabricated. The characteristic test of made sensor was performed. and the result shows that interference errors of the developed sensor are less than 3%. Also, Robot's gripper with the 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor for the characteristic test of force control was manufactured, and the characteristic test for grasping an unknown object was performed using it. The fabricated gripper could grasp an unknown object stably. Thus, the developed 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor may be used for robot's gripper.

In this study, the wide width effect that the increasing rate of drain current and the value of cutoff frequency decrease with larger finger number is observed. For modeling this effect, an improved SPICE MOSFET RF model that finger number-independent external source resistance is connected to a conventional BSIM3v3 RF model is developed. Better agreement between simulated and measured drain current and cutoff frequency at different finger number is obtained for the improved model than the conventional one, verifying the accuracy of the improved model for $0.13{\mu}m$ multi-finger MOSFET.
This paper describes the development of a 3-axis finger force sensor to grasp an unknown object safely in an intelligent robot's hand. In order to safely grasp an unknown object, robot's hand should measure the weight of an object and the force of grasping direction simultaneous. But, in the published papers, the grippers and hands equippd with the force sensor that could only measure the force of grasping direction, and grasped objects using their sensors. These grippers and hands can't safely grasp unknown objects, because they can't measure the weight of it. Thus, it is necessary to develop 3-axis force sensor that can measure the weight of an object and the force of grasping direction for an intelligent gripper. In this paper, 3-axis finger force sensor to grasp an unknown object safely in an intelligent robot's hand was developed. In order to fabricate a 3-axis finger force sensor, the sensing elements were modeled using parallel plate beams, and the theoretical analysis was performed to determine the size of sensing elements, then the 3-axis finger force sensor was fabricated. Also, the characteristic test of the developed 3-axis finger force sensor was performed.
Stroke patients, etc. can't use their hands because of the paralysis of their fingers, and their fingers could be recovered by rehabilitating training. In order to judge the rehabilitating extent of their fingers, the patients should grasp a cylindrical object in hospital. At present, the used object in hospital is only a cylindrical object, and can't measure the force of fingers. Therefore, doctors judge the rehabilitating extent by touching and watching at their fingers. So, the four-finger force measuring system which can measure the force of their fingers should be developed. In this paper, four-finger force measuring system with four force sensors which can measure the grasping force is developed. The force sensors are designed and fabricated, and the force measuring device is designed and manufactured by using DSP(digital signal processing). Also, the grasping force test of men is performed by using the developed four-finger force measuring system. It was confirmed that the finger average force of right hand is about 214.6 N and that of left hand is about 212.8 N.
This study was conducted to analyze patient days and medical care benefits of finger-amputated patients due to industrial accident. The 161 personal data on medical care for finger-amputated patients due to industrial accident(88 in 1994, 73 in 1995) of Regional Labor Office and hospital characteristics were analyzed. The major results of this study were as follows : According to stepwise multiple regression analysis of patient days, number of amputated finger, location of hospital, bed capacity of hospital, presence of plastic surgery in hospital, number of orthopedic specialist per 100 beds, sick leave benefits per day were the major significant variables in order. In stepwise multiple regression analysis with medical care benefits as a dependent variable, presence of plastic surgery in hospital, number of orthopedic specialist per 100 beds, number of amputated finger, sick leave benefits per day, age, bed capacity of hospital were the major significant variables in order. The minimum optimal size with the lowest medical care benefits was a hospital with 300 beds. This shows that the economy of scale is also applicable for hospital industry. In summary, presence of plastic surgery in hospital, number of orthopedic specialist per 100 beds, number of amputated finger, sick leave benefits per day, bed capacity of hospital were the major significant variables in both patient days and medical care benefits.

In this paper, we proposed the new structure of the Rake Finger using Walsh Switch, the shared accumulator and the pipeline FWHT algorithm for reducing the signal processing complexity resulting from the increase of the number of data correlators. The number of computational operation in the proposed data correlators is 160 additions when the number of walsh code channels is 4. As a result, it is reduced about 3.2 times other than the number of computational operation of the conventional ones. Also, the result shows that the data processing time of the proposed Rake Finger architecture is 90,496〔ns〕 and the conventional ones is 110,696〔ns〕. It is 18.3% faster than the data processing time of the conventional Rake Finger architecture.
Objectives The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Gamobojunikgi-tang and Tung' s acupuncture on a postpartum disease patient with hyperhidrosis and finger pain. Methods We treated the patient complained of hyperhidrosis and finger pain after birth. The patient was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. We aimed to treat the postpartum hyperhidrosis by herbal medicine and the postpartum finger pain by acupucture. The climateric symptoms of the patient had been estimated with visual analogue scale (VAS). Results After medication of Bojunikgi-tang and gyeji-tang postpartum hyperhidrosis was rather worse. But after adding aconiti radix lateralis preparata and increasing ginseng and astragalus membranaceus, symptoms were improved. And finger pain was improved after Tung' s acupuncture. Conclusions This case study shows that herbal medicine is effective treating postpartum hyperhidrosis and Tung' s acupuncture is effective treating postpartum finger pain. And postpartum patients should be considered for whether postpartum thyroiditis.

Our study purpose was to report the clinical application of five different pharmacopunctures (Sweet BV, Scolopendrae Corpus, Chukyu, Cervi Parvum Cornu, and Hominis Placenta) for trigger finger. A patient was admitted to Ba-reun-mom S Korean Medicine Clinic and diagnosed with trigger finger. Because the effects of each pharmacopuncture have been confirmed in various acute to chronic cases, we treated a patient diagnosed with trigger finger using pharmacopunctures Sweet BV and Scolopendrae Corpus at the acute phase, Chukyu pharmacopuncture at the acute to chronic phase, and pharmacopunctures Cervi Parvum Cornu and Hominis Placenta at the chronic phase. This case was measured and assessed by Quinnell's classification of triggering and visual analogue scale (VAS) scores. After treatment, the patient's fifth finger pain and function were improved. The VAS score decreased from 5 to 0. The Quinnell's classification of triggering score decreased from 2 to 0. This case indicated that a patient with trigger finger could be treated by five pharmacopuncture treatments according to the treatment regimen and disease progress.
The wrap-around flap (WAF) has become a popular approach to thumb reconstruction because the results are functionally and cosmetically excellent. By modifying to a partial toenail transfer, the WAF can also be used for finger reconstruction. However, performing cosmetically superior finger reconstruction is a significant challenge because it is difficult to reconstruct the natural nailfold by partial nail transplantation, although partial nail transplantation is required to reconstruct a narrow fingernail. One side of the reconstructed lateral nailfold tends to be a missing nail margin, and one side of the proximal nailfold angle tends to be retracted. Based on the rationale that loss of the lateral nailfold volume due to the postoperative tension of the volar flap would result in a missing nail margin, the volume of the lateral nailfold was maintained with a single thread that was passed from the nail to the volar flap. Additionally, half of the proximal nailfold from the nail plate was elevated to advance it forward. The results indicated that a cosmetically natural nailfold was achieved with the WAF approach to finger reconstruction. These easy and simple techniques enable reconstruction of a cosmetically natural nailfold using WAF for finger reconstruction.

In this paper, an algorithm that detects the user's finger direction using the YOLO (You Only Look Once) library was proposed. The processing stage of the proposed finger direction detection algorithm consists of a learning data management stage, a data learning stage, and a finger direction detection stage. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the distance between the camera and the finger had a very large influence on the accuracy of detecting the direction of the finger. We plan to apply this function to Turtlebot3 after improving the accuracy and reliability of the proposed algorithm in the future.
