Learning assistance system that continuously measures user's concentration will be helpful to grasp the concentration pattern and adjust the learning method accordingly to improve the learning efficiency. Although a lot of various learning aids have been proposed, there have been few studies on the concentration monitoring system in real time. Therefore, in this study, we developed an Android-based mobile application that can measure concentration during study by using functional near-infrared spectroscopy, which is used to measure brain activity. First, the task accuracy was predicted at a maximum level of 93.75% from the prefrontal oxygenation characteristics measured while performing the visual Q&A task on 11 college students, and a concentration calculation formula based on a linear regression model was derived. Then, a survey on the usability of the mobile application was conducted, overall high satisfaction and positive opinions were obtained. From these findings, this application can be used as a customized learning aid application for users, and further, it can help educators improve the quality of classes based on the level of concentration of learners.
Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at the PC8 on normal human beings by using power spectral analysis. Methods : EEG (Electroencephalogram) power spectrum exhibits site-specific and state-related differences in specific frequency bands. In this study, power spectrum was used as a measure of complexity. 32 channels EEG study was carried out in 20 subjects (20 males; age=26.8 years old). Results : In ${\alpha}(alpha)$ band, the power values at F7, F8, P3 channels(p<0.05) during the $PC_8-acupoint$ treatment significantly decreased. In ${\beta}(beta)$ band, the power values at F4, F8, P3 channels(P<0.05) during the PC8-acupoint treatment significantly decreased. In ${\delta}(delta)$ band, the power values at F7, F8, P3 Po2 channels(p<0.05) during the $PC_8-acupoint$ treatment significantly decreased. In ${\theta}(theta)$ band, the power values at F7, Fz, F4 F8, FTC1, FTC2, CP2, TT2, P3, Pz, Po2 channels(p<0.05) during the PC8-acupoint treatment significantly decreased. Conclusions : This results suggest that Electroacupuncture at the PC8 mostly affect the change on theta(11 channels) bands.

The silica-silica interaction parameter (${\alpha}_F$) of the silane treated silica filled natural rubber (NR) compound was investigated. As silane (TESPT) concentration increased from 2 to 12% (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12%), the ${\alpha}_F$ value increased at the same silica concentration (10, 20, 30, and 40 phr). It seemed the sulfur atoms in TESPT acted as a crosslinking agent in the compound. As silica concentration increased from 10 to 40 phr, the ${\alpha}_F$ value increased at the same silane concentration due to increased silica-silica interaction.

This paper describes the development of a 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor, which measures forces $F_x$(x-direction force), $F_y$and $F_z$, and moments $M_x$ (x-direction moment), $M_y$ and $M_z$ simultaneously, for stable grasping of an unknown object. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's gripper, the force in the gripping direction and the force in the gravity direction should be measured, and the force control should be performed using the measured forces. Also, the moments $M_x$, $M_y$ and $M_z$ to accurately perceive the position of the object in the grippers should be detected. Thus, the robot's gripper should be composed of 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor that can measure forces $F_x$, $F_y$ and $F_z$, and moments $M_x$$M_y$ and $M_z$ simultaneously. In this paper, the 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor for measuring forces $F_x$, $F_y$ and $F_z$, and moments $M_x$$M_y$ and $M_z$ simultaneously was newly modeled using several parallel-plate beams, designed, and fabricated. The characteristic test of the fabricated sensor was performed, and the result shows that interference errors of the developed sensor are less than 3%. Also, Robot's gripper with the 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor for the characteristic test of force control was manufactured, and the characteristic test for grasping an unknown object using the sensors was performed using it. The fabricated gripper could grasp an unknown object stably. Thus, the developed 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor can be used for robot's gripper.

About 75% of software security incidents are caused by software vulnerability. In addition, the after-market repairing cost of the software is higher by more than 30 times than that in the design stage. In this background, the secure coding has been proposed as one of the ways to solve this kind of maintenance problems. Various institutions have addressed the weakness patterns of the standard software. A new Korean programming language Saesark has been proposed to resolve the security weakness on the language level. However, the previous study on Saesark can not resolve the security weakness caused by the API. This paper proposes a way to resolve the security weakness due to the API. It adopts a static analyzer inspecting dangerous methods. It classifies the dangerous methods of the API into two groups: the methods of using tainted data and those accepting in-flowing tainted data. It analyses the security weakness in four steps: searching for the dangerous methods, configuring a call graph, navigating a path between the method for in-flowing tainted data and that uses tainted data on the call graph, and reporting the security weakness detected. To measure the effectiveness of this method, two experiments have been performed on the new version of Saesark adopting the static analysis. The first experiment is the comparison of it with the previous version of Saesark according to the Java Secure Coding Guide. The second experiment is the comparison of the improved Saesark with FindBugs, a Java program vulnerability analysis tool. According to the result, the improved Saesark is 15% more safe than the previous version of Saesark and the F-measure of it 68%, which shows the improvement of 9% point compared to 59%, that of FindBugs.
A comparative study on crystal structures and UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectra for Nb-containing oxyfluorides was performed to probe the relationship between energy band gap and local structure. The oxyfluorides, RbSrNb2O6F, RbCaNb2O6F and RbNb2O5F are commonly composed of the corner-sharing NbO5F octahedra as structural building units. The average Nb-O(F)-Nb bond angles, which can be a measure of the structural distortion, are 158.6° for RbSrNb2O6F, 149.6° for RbCaNb2O6F and 139.5° for RbNb2O5F. As the bond angle decreases, the band gap increases: 3.48eV for RbSrNb2O6F, 3.75eV for RbCaNb2O6F and 4.03 eV for RbNb2O5F. This experimental result implies that the band gap can be controlled with a range of 0.6 eV through a variation of local structure for the Nb-containing oxyfluorides.

The journal impact factor(JIF) of the Thomson Reuters(ISI) has been widely used to assess the impact of journal as well as its quality. However, the JIF contains its critical limitation, in which it does not measure the impact of journal but the average impact of articles in journal. Besides significant number of problems of the JIF has been noticed. Furthermore, given the limited coverage of domestic citation index database in comparison to those of international citation index, it is necessary to apply a more appropriate index with a high level of discriminating power. This study, therefore, aims to introduce some practical methods to measure the impact of domestic journals by using the Hirsch-type indices. As the Hirsch-type indices has been often used for overcoming the limitations of the JIF in worldwide, we hope that our research outcome offers an effective alternative to gauge the impact of journals more accurately. Consequently, using the variations of the h-index($h_s$-index, $f_s$-index) or the sum of issue level(issue based h-index, issue based f-index), we argue that it would improve the discrimination capacity of the Hirsch-type indices significantly and that we can measure the impact of domestic journals more clearly.
Recently, many users discuss and argue with others using replying comments. This implies that a series of comments can be a new source of information since various opinions can be appeared in the dispute. It is important to understand the implicit dispute structure immanent in the comment set. In this paper, we examine the characteristics of disputes using replying comments in the Internet forum sites using a set of test articles with the comments collected from SketicalLeft and Agora, which are famous Internet forum sites in Korea. And we propose a new method for detecting and visualizing the dispute sections and relations from a large set of replying comments. To show the performance of our method, we measured precision, recall, and F-measure. According to the experimental results, the F-measures of the detection of the comments in dispute are about 0.84 (SketpcialLeft) and 0.83 (Agora); those of the detection of the commenter pairs in dispute are 0.75 (SketpcialLeft) and 0.82 (Agora), respectively. Since our method exploits the temporal order of commenters to detect the disputes, it is not dependent on the host language nor on the typos in comments. Also, our method can help the readers to grasp the structure of controversy hidden in the comment set through the visualized view.
Purpose: This research is based on experiments practiced with 6th grade students in primary school as subjects. They were trained in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation theory and received actual training in CPR. Methods: The subjects were randomly sorted into two classes of the 6th grade students. The experimental group was composed of 35 students. The control group was composed of 32. The experimental group received basic CPR theoretical and practical education once and received a practical evaluation three times, with 4 weeks in between evaluations. The control group received CPR theoretical education before the study. The data was analyzed by ${\chi}^2$-test and t-test using the SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. Results: Hypothesis 1 was that the basic CPR knowledge score would begin to decrease right after the education and continue to decrease as time passed. The experimental group's knowledge score continued to increase 12 weeks after education, but there was no decrease in the control group's knowledge score (F=5.870, p=.000). Hypothesis 2 was that the basic CPR attitude score would decrease right after the education and continue as time passed. There was no significant difference in the experimental group's score after education, nor was there any change in the control group's score on this measure (F=3.986, p=.004). Hypothesis 3 was that the subjects' confidence in practicing CPR would decrease right after education and continue as time passed. There was a significant decrease in the experimental group's score, but no significant change in the control group's score on this measure (F=75.574, p=.000). Hypothesis 4 was that the practical accomplishment evaluation score of CPR would decrease as time passed. There was a significant decrease in the experimental group's score on this measure right after education (F=38.368, p=000). Conclusion: Retraining for basic CPR education will be needed in all aspects of the education/training at least every 4 weeks, to preserve the students' retention of learned material/training. This is because students' scores fell significantly four weeks after education/training.

Objective : To measure the orientation of the facet joints of cervical spine (C-spine) segments in the sagittal plane, known as the pedicle-facet (P-F) angle, and to use these measurements to evaluate the relationship between the P-F angle and the amount of vertebral anterolisthesis in patients with degenerative cervical spondylolisthesis (DCS). Methods : A retrospective case-control study was performed including 30 age- and sex-matched patients with DCS and 30 control participants. Anterior-posterior and lateral view radiographs of the C-spine were obtained in a standing position. The P-F angle at all cervical levels and the amount of anterolisthesis at C4-5 were measured from lateral view plain radiographs. Results : The P-F angles at C4-5 were $141.14{\pm}7.14^{\circ}$ for the DCS group and $130.53{\pm}13.50^{\circ}$ (p=0.012) for the control group, and at C5-6 were $137.46{\pm}8.53^{\circ}$ for the DCS group and $128.53{\pm}16.01^{\circ}$ for the control group (p=0.001). The mean P-F angle at C4-5 did not correlate with the amount of anterolisthesis (p=0.483). The amount of anterior slippage did correlate with age (p<0.001). Conclusion : The P-F angle was intrinsically higher at C4-5, compared to C5-6, in both the DCS and control groups, which might explain the increased likelihood for anterolisthesis of C4. Higher P-F angles in the DCS group may be a predisposing factor to slippage. The P-F angle may interact with age to increase incidence of anterolisthesis with increasing age.
